She's so nice and sweet she seems to love what she does. The homeworks are really easy and I don't remember taking any exam you just have to do a group project and in class activities. Highly recommended

she's amazing seriously. i took her wensday night class, it was intense because there was a lot to do but it wasnt hard at all because everything you do in her class is in groups. alot of participation and group involvement is important. no exams! and yes there is very little hw to be done. just be prepared to learn and be involved.

I'm not planning to be a teacher, I just took this class with a friend. With that being said, I was really interested in what she had to teach. She really is an exceptional teacher. If you're thinking of becoming a teacher, it is vital that you learn from this instructor.

Inspirational and motivating! She has a lot of enthusiasm for the Child Development field, with a ton of knowledge to offer future teachers. There are some writing assignments but follow her guidelines and they will be a breeze!

This class was eye opening, the professor was super sweet, she would relate each topic to her own personal experiences which made things easier to understand and relate to. She gives homework and most of it comes straight from the textbook. Does not give test but gives group projects.

olga is the BEST at cerritos I definitely recommend her to everyone. She's so passionate about child development. And she loves to learn about others. She's not like other teachers she's genuine I'm very glad to have gotten the chance to take all her classes at Cerritos and will definitely miss them

Olga is inspirational and fun to have as a professor! Sometimes, she fails to respond to email inquiries, but she will offer assistance as needed when you come to her office hours. She is a fair grader. Follow what she asks and you will pass with flying colors.

I love Ms. Olga, she will go above and beyond to help you. Her lectures are not really lectures, they are amazing. She has lots of hands-on activities. Make sure to spend time on the philosophy statement, she will be picky about it, but it's for a good reason. Make sure to get started early on the 4-D classroom. Will take lots of time, and effort.

This was my first semester taking any kind of child development class and Olga made this a great experience. She was very hands on, she is very passionate about her job and if you need help she is more than willing to help out. You won't regret taking her for this class.

Mrs. Andrade is a fantastic teacher (FAVE)! I took her for 2 CD and CDEC classes in the same semester & I received an A+ in both classes. She give extensive lectures pertaining to the homework/reading. Homework is fairly light, group projects are the heaviest portion of the class but if you do all your work, give good effort & attend class A-B.

Mrs. Andrade has been my best & fav teacher in UG studies. She is caring, humorous & really passionate about teaching. You will never be bored or lost in her class. She is really flexible but expects you to do your best. I had her for 2 classes in the same semester and the work load was perfect. Light homework, heavier project but still decent.

Prof. Andrade is absolutely a gem. She is so passionate about child development. Her stories are funny, inspiring, touching, and always have a lesson that comes out of it. She assigns a philosophy statement which allows you to envision yourself as a teacher you want to be. My only tip: make sure you're in a good group. Take charge when needed!

Amazing, so dedicated and clear. It was so uncomfortable to be in class while there are huge giant rats running in class and on the walls. Disgusting. Other than that she has always been a great instructor.

Shes passionate about the subject. But if you miss class more then 2 times shell jot you down for it. Sometimes things are out of our control and we might have family related emergencies and even then youll still lose points! Shes understanding to a certain extent, but still I dont think its fair. Apart from that the class is wonderful.

I took her in 2019. She is a wonderful professor. I am not a morning person but would drive 45 mins to school to get to her 7am class. I would always be a couple mins late and she deducted points each time. Never missed a class or a single assignment and got good grades on them. I ultimately got a freaking C all because of attendance :(

Love professor Andrade, she is a very kind and understanding professor. There are no exams or quizzes only discussion posts and 1-3 projects. The first half of class is mostly lectures and the second half is for group activities or a packet to complete before class ends, which you can work with others to finish faster. FREE Textbook!

One of the best instructors on campus, she cares for her students and it shows in her work! She understands how expensive textbooks can be so she provides them for free. Her classwork and homework is really easy sometimes you have to read articles and reflect or read chapters of the textbook. Her class is 50/50 with the lecture and lab work.

You will have a blast with the group projects, just make sure to stay on top of them because it will feel a little more fast paced towards the end of the semester. Overall great class and professor.

Super helpful when it comes to the group projects. It is a very hands on and group project type of class so make sure be on your A game! The activities are fun exciting to be apart of. There is a good amount of principles that you'll have to have in mind through out the semester, but she will have accessible documents with that information.

AMAZING. She cares about what she is teaching. The course is helpful and interesting. We read a chapter per week, about 30 pages. I enjoyed it because the book is easy to read and interesting. Quizzes are about the reading. Don't feel overwhelmed this is a good class. I hated reading and yet I enjoyed the book.

I had 4 classes like stats that were hard to manage the workload & my mental health thus my grade. She posted videos explaining the work & other vids, free pdf textbook, gave feedback, communicated well, gave extra credit opportunities, had easy weekly quizzes, and was pretty enjoyable (ex. diy child project)!! I'm in her 112 class now & love it :)
