Wonderful, intelligent.

Good class. Tests are pretty hard, but that's all that the grade is other than the final paper. Don't even have to go half of the time. Takes a long time to return test grades

Class was ridiculously easy, two open book test you do at home and one 10 page paper. He doesn't make you know statistical formulas or any of the math. He wants to know you are thinking. Very concerned with attention to detail and directions. All the notes are online and basically outline the book. He has an ego, but he is a good speaker.

Really nice guy. Tries everything he can to help the students out. Two take homes tests and a paper. I got a C on one of the tests and still managed to get an A in the class. Go class and participate! It helps. Very intelligent and very helpful.

Ky is an awesome teacher! He is really funny and keeps the class entertained! The tests are take home and as long as you answer the questions thoroughly then you'll be fine. I got a 100% on the first test! Most interesting POL class yet!

AWESOME TEACHER! he's very very clear, he give you all the tools you need to succeed in his class, you just have to go, read a little, and study for the tests, but everything you need to do he tells you! he's one of the best teachers i've had here, and i dont like political science at all!

He is undoubtedly intelligent and knows what he is talking about. He used to live in Africa, so African politics is easy to analyze for him. However, he did not take into consideration the impact of his body language and verbal implications when correcting students on misinformation. I was belittled during class discussions (10% of grade).

hes really smart and very helpful. he made one mass power point for the entire semester, so it made it next to impossible to find specific information. the last half of the semester he kept jumping from talking about the class material and requirements for the paper. the format and requirements for the paper were unclear. also no take home tests.

My favorite teacher so far at ISU. I was very worried about the material at the beginning of the year but he was a great teacher. As long as you work hard, go to class, and participate you will be fine. One of the few teachers that encourages independant thought rather than just throwing the material at you.

Friendly and always willing to help. He gives you the tools to succeed, and the tests aren't too bad. Just attend class and particpate and you will be fine.

Ky is such an amazing teacher. I've had him for Global Issues and Political Parties and Interest Groups and I'd definately take him again! He's a super chill guy and you learn a lot about practical life and current events and not just the boring stuff from a textbook.

He's a really good teacher, always willing to help. I think attendence is pretty mandatory in this class, the notes help a lot on the tests. Make sure you take the tests- the only grades that count are two exams and 1 paper. I liked it b/c there wasn't too much work involved, just around the time of the paper or tests. The class wasn't bad at all!

nice guy! I thought i was taking a statistical reasoning in political science class, but it's basically a research class. very few stats, even less poly sci. and NO calculations. He's very clear about what he wants in the research paper, and answers all questions. this semester there were NO tests, just a giant research paper.

Ky was a great teacher! He cracked me up in class! The only grades you get are weekly parts of a research paper, it's kinda tricky to write because you have to write it exactly how he wants it, but i learned a lot about research and stats. I put A LOT of time into this class, but it was worth it i got an A!

Very respectful teacher. Night class is not bad, always gets out early. No tests, no quizzes, no homework. You only have one paper that you do throughout the semester. Pretty easy, just follow his instructions PERFECTLY for each part.

Pretty easy class. He splits up a big research paper into week by week sections. If you follow his guidelines exactly it's hard to get a bad grade. He's a pretty nice guy. 3 hour night class never lasted more than 1 1/2 hours. Major Plus!

I LOVED HIM!! I got an A. I would sit in class and do other homework and text the whole time. There is no final, just one paper that you continually build on. Email him if you have questions or email the TA. Just follow his directions PERFECTLY and you can get an A. You dont have to go to class, but its helpful when he explains the paper.

He does random attendance checks, so people just go to class and do other homework. It's just one big paper in little parts. No finals! No tests! He is very nice and gives participation as extra credit. He is very helpful too! Follow his format EXACTLY as he explains and you should be good in the class. No other homeowrk besides the paper. Awesome!

He was awesome. The entire class is one giant 30 page research paper but you write it in three page increments and he individually grades each one. NO test NO final Class isnt mandatory Just follow his instructions 100% and its a guaranteed A

He's an interesting teacher with very clear guidelines for the research paper. Go to class and listen for an hour and you will get the A.

The night class never goes the whole time. He was VERY clear on what he wanted for the paper and was a fair grader. The day a paper was due I usually dropped my paper off, left class and read the notes online and I got a 98%.

Good teacher, very specific about what he wants in the paper, no final, test, or anything, just one big paper that is done section by section throughout the term. I recommend him.

He's awesome...no tests, just one big paper. Go to office hours if you have ANY questions, if you don't follow the template for the paper, you lose easy points. There is absolutely NO reason not to get an A in this class because he tells you exactly what he expects. The night class ALWAYS gets out early which is wonderful! TAKE HIM!!

I loved this teacher. He has a pretty sweet accent & his class wasn't hard AT ALL. It's suposed to be a 3 hr night class but we usually got out at about 1 hr. Also no tests, just 1 big paper but if u go to the TA to get ur paper checked you will get a A+ for sure! TAKE THIS CLASS!

Great teacher,and he has an awesome accent. Easy A, and the class is never the full time. Initially I was very intimidated by the large paper, but as long as you do what he says there is no way you can't get an A. Also, go to the TA before every section is due and you will do great!!

Great teacher! I have no interest in Politics and writing papers but he makes you enjoy the class. He is fun and directly to the point. Never any trouble completing assignments. 5 small papers, no midterm, no final and you end a week early. Also the class only lasts an hr and a half at most.

I took Conflict Areas at Illinois Wesleyan with Prof Ajayi. This man is SO intelligent and knowledgable--he really knows everything about everything. He's the sort of teacher who wants all of his students to succeed and I learned a LOT and became more interested in world politics. Also, he has a very attractive voice. I recommend this class!

easy. it's one huge research paper written in 5 different increments. just follow the exact template and you'll ace every single one. an A is so obtainable and this class takes up about 30 minutes of your time every TWO weeks; no exams or homework assignments... plus the book isn't even needed which is a +.

This is honestly one of the best teachers at ISU. He is straight forward about the material and he shuts up the "know it alls". He has a sweet english accent. Go to class bc he sometimes gives extra attendence points. Follow the template for papers EXACTLY and you will do great!

This class was the best class I had this semester at Illinois Wesleyan University. I got into this class with very little knowlegde of the subject but now I know quite a lot. He is so knowlegde and he always knows what he is talking about. It is easy to get an A if you follow the set guidelines. He is simply the BEST teacher you can have!!!

This is one of the easiest classes that I have taken. He has a great sense of humor and makes sure that you understand the material very well. I highly recommend people to take his class!!!

EASIEST CLASS!!! no tests, one paper done in chunks. dont be scared by 1st glass, h is just setting the rules. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS EXACTLY and you will get a A. night class never goes longer than 1 hr-1 1/2 hrs.

One paper due in chunks with crystal clear directions, no textbooks, quizzes, or tests. Went to class only when a part of the paper was due and got a B which easily could have been an A. Take this class, GPA booster.

Very easy class. The whole class was one big paper broken into a bunch of little ones. If you bring in the paper to the G.A. she'll tell you exactly what to do.. I got 110% in the class...

He tells you what he expects from the beginning and gives you rules that are not hard to follow at all. Do what he wants, and you'll have an A.

Easy A, very easy class. YOU MUST TAKE THIS CLASS. Three hour night class that only goes for 45 minutes tops!

TAKE THIS CLASS. It is so easy to get 100%. This class is once a week & never goes over one hour long. It consists of writing one paper throughout the entire semester & if you follow his guidelines (he gives you an exact example to look at) you get 100% papers are sometimes time consuming but you can do it the night before.

Take this class for an easy A. You do not need a book and the class was supposed to be three hours but he let us out after an hour. He tells you exactly what to do and if you just follow his guidelines he will give you an A.

Great teacher! He promotes class discussion and as long as you take notes and read the book his class is super easy. Offers a lot of extra credit as well. A+++ Professor!

What everyone says is true. My only note for when you do take this class, is visit with him or the TA during office hours to make sure you get an A on each paper. Other than that, you follow the directions and end up with a 99.55% in the class like me :)

Professor Ajayi is one of the most available and helpful professors here at ISU. Use his office hours! He will tell you what you need to do in order to get an A. Do EXACTLY what he says and you should not have a single problem. Class is almost always a half hour or less.He is very smart and can improve your writing if you're willing to receive help

Overall a great class, although he only has office hours one day a week, and is working at another job the other days of the week. His can grade VERY tough, if you even miss one word that makes the paper different you lose full points for category, one category is 10% of your total grade for class.

He is the most handsome man ever & has a british accent to die for. Class is straight to the point and easy if you attend office hours & just follow directions. Definitely recommended.

Easiest class ever. I never went to class after the first exam. Go to the GA or TA before the papers are due and they will tell you exactly what to correct. If you do what they say you will more than likely get a 100 on each paper. Ajayi is a very good and very helpful professor.

Professor Ajayi is a wonderful professor, the class is listed online as being 3 hours long, yet in reality he NEVER ran class over 75 minutes. Go to his/GA/TA office hours before paper is due and you are almost guaranteed an A as long as you follow his criteria. Only issue is he can be a VERY HARD grader, if you have one word off you can lose 10%.

Amazing professor! Always willing to help. The class is easy as long as you do what you're supposed to do (the homework, take notes, study). Don't skip, sometimes he gives extra credit for showing up!

Take the night option for this class!! You're never there for the whole time and you don't even need to go to most of the classes. He offers a few extra credit opportunities to those who attend so if you don't plan on going, make a friend who will go.

This class is a very easy A. There is a study guide given out each week for the friday quiz, the guide consists of 60 questions (that are all on quizlet). The quiz is made up of 30 of those 60 guide questions. there are 4 articles to write on current events that are a page long and extremely easy. Ajayi cares about everyones opinion.

Great guy! Extremely easy class. The class is three research assignments split amongst ten to fifteen people and an online take home test. Always encourages you and your group to go into office hours to guarantee an A. Easiest class I have taken at ISU.

TAKE THIS CLASS. Grades are based on weekly online quizzes which he provides study guides each week that contain questions on the quiz. Also have to submit articles every couple weeks, but they are easy. He's a really good teacher who makes you think. Don't need the textbook.

This class is very simple. Do the study guide before Wednesday using the textbook, and go to Wednesday's class where he will give you some answers. The class is conducted online on Friday's and you take a test that has questions exactly from the study guide. He is very clear in his lectures, and you can tell he enjoys teaching.

Class was a three hour night class, yet he rarely kept us longer than 30 minutes. Assignments can easily be completed the night before. To be honest, the class is the epitome of a blowoff class... I did not learn anything, but it was an easy A. Seems to be a friendly and intelligent guy, but I wouldn't really know since class was so short.

You will have a multiple choice 30-question quiz every Friday based on the reading from the textbook! But you will NOT take a midterm or final.

EASY A. Great teacher. Genuinely wants to help you. Its a pain to meet with groups all semester but completely worth it.

Definitely take Professor Ajayi for POL 140. We never had tests or homework and he canceled all Friday classes in place for a 10 question online quiz. Lectures were engaging and we often had great group discussion. He really makes you think and opens your eyes to things going on in the world. THIS WAS BY FAR MY FAVORITE CLASS!

Weekly quizzes, someone what difficult (i didn't read the book) Had papers and as long as you follow his outline, you'll do fine DOES NOT ROUND GRADE had a 79.9

Great professor. Funny, passionate, and clear. He offers challenges to all points of view, but his bias does come through a little bit. Only 14 online quizzes which replace friday class, 4 one page current article easy A papers, and no final. Awesome class.

You dont have exams but you will have to take quizzes every Friday sounds good right but these quizzes are 10 questions and worth 30 points You will have 10 questions 2 will be from class discussions and the rest will cover chapters sometimes 20 pages+ so see how fun that is remember and looking for answers. No extra credit &Quizzes only 20 mins.

He was great. I really enjoyed the class. One online quiz a week that are from the lecture and the chapter. 4 very easy essays. Lectures were a lot of fun and he gets really into what he's teaching. I would have done better on the quizzes if I read the chapter. Friday classes are cancelled due to taking the quizzes.

My favorite professor at ISU. I took him for pol 138 and pol 140- I will take every class possible with him. Both classes are an easy A as long as you go to class and pay attention. He's passionate about what he teaches and I learned a lot from him!
