Homie is a cool dude but he is the only professor I have met who uses the grading scale of 96-100 for an A opposed to the standard 93-100 like any normal professor. This should tell you a lot about the class in itself. Be ready to slave away to Pearson my Lab and make damn near zero mistakes to achieve an A. If you happen to receive an A, bless u.

All he does is read off powerpoint. Only graded on homework (lots of it), the midterm, and the final. Knows what he is talking about . Entire class failed midterm and he let us retake it which was nice. He did lecture us about how he is successful because he is an immigrant and took his education seriously unlike us.

Professor is a nice dude and very smart and I respect him for that. He is very lecture heavy and homework's can be a lot if you fall behind. Didn't really get to know his students, he presents slides and leaves that's it. Don't get the textbook the slides are provided on Pearson Lab. Tests were moderately difficult but I would study for them.

Professor Owoye is very passionate about economics and dedicated to his students. The class really wasn't too difficult if you truly listen to his lectures, take notes, and do the homework as you're supposed to. Make sure to read the textbook before class and take notes. Professor Owoye is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Homeworks are ridiculous, 50-70 questions a week on Pearson with 1-2 attempts each. Awful! Actively listen in class and you might be able to barely grasp what is going on. Language barrier is not difficult, pay close attention. Don't fall behind on homework and study for exams even if you are hopeless. Participate in class even if you are wrong!

Professor Owoye is great. It may take a bit of time to get used to him and how he teaches, and what he expects, but it's manageable. The big and probably biggest issue I have is the homework. Definitely get Chegg it helps a lot, homework is about a 1/3 of your grade. But he's great with exams and will curve grades if everyone doesn't do great.

He is very passionate about what he teaches but his class sucks. He reads off the same powerpoints the whole semester. Then you have to do like no exaggeration thousands of questions that he just assigns every year. Nothing is new or original and it comes off as lazy.

Over the 4 years ive been at WCSU I have NEVER had such a terrible professor, I mean who does this guy think he is. If you end up needing to take a class with this guy then be ready to have the most frustrating semester, and be ready to answer over 1,100 homework questions that take 15 mins each to answer. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

I personally really like this professor. It was a situation in which you got what you put in. I went to office hours and paid attention in class. This class doesn't baby you and it's entirely based on the effort you put in. I found him hilarious and a great professor.

He assigns you 17 chapters and expects them to be completed by the end of the semester. There's a purpose behind this deadline, which I've come to understand. His assignments are composed of approximately 70 questions, and each question comprises multiple parts. you'll find yourself dedicating not just hours, but days to finish one HW assignment.

Professor Owoye gives time to do the homework, but doesn't give clear instruction on how to actually complete it. His tests are extremely difficult and don't correlate with the difficulty that's being taught in class.

If you attend business school at Westconn, you most likely have to go through the Economics Gauntlet with Professor Owoye. Oluwole's accent is hard to understand. He is a good guy but isn't good at teaching. Tests are very hard. His final is usually 100 questions. You're gonna have to grind Pearson MyLab if you want a decent grade. Good Luck.

Graded on four things. Accent is hard to understand, lecture jumps all over the place and you have no idea what he is talking about. Two huge homework assignments, around 450 questions each not to mention most of them are 3, 4, or 5 part questions so you're looking at around 600 questions each assignment. Do not suggest taking this. Nice guy though

The class is challenging but not impossible. There is a lot of homework, but he gives enough time to complete it. It's honestly not that hard to get a decent grade if you put the bare minimum effort because the curve on exams is pretty generous, so just try your best.

Do not take this professor. I couldn't understand a single word he ever said. Ever. I gave up listening after the first exam. He massively curves and gives you chances to improve but its a hard class as it is and when you have no idea what he is saying. Im going to take 213 online somewhere else strictly to avoid him. Save yourself some sanity.

He is knowledgeable about the material and cares about the subject matter, but does NOT prepare you for the exams written by Pearson. He focuses on things that won't affect your grade, and covers topics way beyond the scope of the class. He was frustrated by our awful test scores but didn't address the root of the issue. TAKE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK

Likes what he is talking about but only gives exams and does not prepare you for them AT ALL. He gives no other assignments except the exams, so if you don't do well on them, you fail the class. Almost everyone did horribly on the exams except kids who already knew what he was talking about. For a beginner Economics class, it is anything but that.

In this class, the only three things graded are the exams. They are not curved at all. His lectures consist of him reading off slides and going off topic talking about Elon Musk or Donald Trump, sometimes for ten or more minutes. He got very upset with the class when the test grades came back poor, but still didn't change anything to help us.

He only grades on tests, those tests are horribly designed. He only lectures off edited PowerPoints and gives no HW. He had to give everyone across 3 sections retakes on 2/3 tests because they all failed. He often references politics and obscure facts from one of the 6 chapter slideshows (60+ slides per) and expects us to do it all with no practice

NDrive is required to access slide show. There is no homework or worksheets, only lecture. Doesn't post on blackboard. Only graded by 3 tests. Majority of class failed or didn't score high grade in the first 2 tests leading to retakes for class. Expects everyone to understand concept quick. Throws curveball questions in test. Leans into politics.
