Awesome professor who is passionate about his subject. Statistics is difficult, but he will help you through it if you have problems. His tests are long and require thinking, but he gives a take-home section which helped me focus my studying. He expects high quality, college level work from students but he is fair in grading and helped me a lot.

I work in the mental health field, so this was a fun class for me. The readings were reasonable and there were lots of opportunities to get extra credit. I got to select one of my all time favorite movies to study schizophrenia with several classmates. We presented the main character and developed a clinical case report, which is amazing.

Dr. Alhassoon is very kind and truly cares about his students. I took this course because I want to be a therapist. His knowledge and experience in the field made a huge difference in the course. He made sure it was enjoyable by allowing us to present cases from movies. He also showed video of therapy and discussed the cases in class.

The entire class is basically self taught, you have to do that week's chapter homework before class so you already know the material when you attend. Overall, he is a very easy and understanding teacher, I just wish he actually lectured a bit more rather than relying on our homework and student presentations to teach us about that week's chapter.

If this class is hard in any way, it's bc of the subject and the fact that you have to learn stats online. Other than that, the quizzes and final are easy as long as you read (skimmed) the textbook. Most of the chapters tested are easily calculated through an excel outline you should have created on your own prior to the test.

I dropped this class because 40% of the grade was an extremely repetitive interaction with a "study" program (matching words and definitions over and over).
