Dr. Kirshner's lectures can be a little dry, but they are effective and he clearly explains concepts. You will get a good grade in Gov if you take notes and read all the texts before exams.
Easy class if your into politics. He tells you exactly what to do for the exams, gives u an ample amount of time. Will have very good discussions in class. I didn't use the book at all. I received an 95. But again if u don't know politics that well or don't enjoy u will probably need the book.
The information presented in the class is clear, concise, and thought-provoking. He's a lenient professor that puts the accountability on the students but won't hesitate to help.
Has to be one of the easiest professors I have ever had in 4 years of college. You will learn a lot, and he is very easy as long as you participate and read. And there is not a lot of reading.
One of my best classes this semester. Attendance isn't mandatory but, he does it randomly and if you're there you get bonus points at the end but, if you're not, you get 2 pts off each time. Weird but, just don't miss class. Overall, a good professor. He's very clear on the content and him and his TA's are always there to answer whatever questions.
He would randomly take attendance throughout the course. I never took notes or went to class (not recommended) and wound up with an A. One midterm, one final - no quizzes or homework. You do write essays in class as a group effort. MT & final were open book/open note. Really cares about the subject.
His class was majority lecture and note taking. Lectures came from key points in the text. If you read the chapters before class you'll have a better understanding. He uses the board and draws pictures for clarity. He answers questions as thoroughly as possible. He's a bit opinionated but it makes for a good conversation and class interaction.
He doesn't use powerpoints. Attendance is mandatory. The class overall is easy because it's online group work once a week and a midterm and a final. The subject is pretty boring but if you go to class and do the group work, you should get at least a B in the class.
Prof. Kirshner is very fair and explains everything thoroughly. If you read the book and pay attention in class, you'll do fine. The only down side is the mandatory group essays, where your group members will leech off of your work. Try to stay on top of those.
He is very fair and clear with the objectives and requirements of the class. Weekly group essays are easy if you stay on top of the readings and its very easy not to fall behind. The oped at the end of the semester is very doable.
Easy class. Just make sure read the text so you can contribute to group essays & pass the midterm and final which are also essays. He has a strict attendance policy, you lose 2 pts for every class you miss(if he takes attendance) but has 2 extra credit opportunities for the class. I took it in the summer & got an easy A. Definitely recommend!
This was an okay class. Only an essay midterm and final (that were open book) plus group work & EC.He places everyone into groups at the beginning of the semester and you work within these groups until the end. We did weekly group essays which were annoying, but helpful. Strict attendance. TA's did a lot of the work. His lecturing style is boring.
pretty easy class .
Dr. Kirshner is super nice. He gives group essays which seem horrible but they help you obtain knowledge and you get to use them on the midterm and final. His lectures are a little dry but you can also use your notes on the midterm and final- which are also open book. He's willing to help you out and overall he's a great teacher. Easy class.
I would definitely take Kirshner again, he is an AMAZING professor. This course didn't consist of any tests. We just had one 10 page paper that was due at the end of the semester. Lectures can get kind boring at times but he knows what hes talking about. I would definetly take another class with him again.
Professor Kirshner is very clear cut and doesn't worry you with meaningless busy work. You do group essays throughout the semester with the same group, so make sure you like your group members. These help build your writing skills and prepare you amptly for the test. I plan on taking a class w Kirshner again and would recommend him to others.
Kirshner is such a great professor. Lectures are clear and interesting. Group essays every class, online assignments which are easy but long. Only 2 tests (midterm and final). Both tests are essays and open booksnotes. Gives a lot of extra credit. But takes off 2 points for every class missed. Take Kirshner, you will not regret it.
He is very passionate about teaching and it shows. You will have a lot of group essays but there is always redos for full credit if you dont pass. Exams are open book and open note and they are easy. This was a great class.
Dr. O was the best. The class was easy and interesting. He keeps everyone involved and is not scared to share is opinion. Only a midterm and a final, essays every class, and easy but time consuming homework
I have taken every class this man teaches. He is kind and down to earth. If you can show you care at all about any of his classes you will do well. He is the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. Respect him and he will respect you. I highly recommend his classes to everyone.
Dr.O's class was the best I had him for summer term. His lectures were well paced and detailed. He has a passion for his subject and it shows. He is there for his students and the midterm and final were good to build up essay writing skills. I would defiantly take one of his classes again and recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Kirshner is an amazing professor and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is extremely fair and really laid back. I have taken every class he has taught so far. You will have a group essay every week however he isn't critical for instance mandating APA format. He wants to ensure you understand the material and not focus on abstracts .
Prof. Kirshner is a very laid back type of guy, but he is very knowledgeable. Class was held in a seminar style, which allowed for more open flowing conversation (Whenever more than 3 people read that is). Prof. Kirshner is able to ignore those who don't care and remains just as passionate . Only 1 research paper and participation, no exams.
He is extremely inteligent and obviously knows what he is talking about and can communicate well. Makes a not so interesting topic interesting. Gives no tests just a few essays! Overall very kind and engaging professor.
Professor Kirshner is the best! I have taken 3 classes with him so far and I am going to take another next semester. I would recommend taking a class with him. He is very knowledgeable about the topics and although his lectures might get a little dry there is a lot of student participation. I would highly recommend!!
Dr. Orin is an awesome professor. He's really chill and funny, so I would definitely recommend taking him. He does deduct 2 points off your final grade for every unexcused absence, so don't take him if you weren't planning on going to class. He makes class very interesting and goes very in-depth into politics.
I took his class over the summer. The lectures were long, but very clear and gave information through graphs and illustrations. The online assignments were easy and we had group essays as oppose to test and a midterm and final which were essays, they were all open note. I would defiantly take one of his classes again.
Took it as summer class so had long lectures. Every class had group writing assignment which was due at end of class. These help prepare for midterm and final. They are essay test and you get to pick your topic out of 2 or 3. Show up And do homework (online) and you will pass. Not much effort required for the A
Prof Kirshner was INCREDIBLE! I absolutely loved his class and learned so much more than I expected I would. I am a Criminal Justice major so I am already interested in the topics he discussed, but if I weren't already interested, he would have made it interesting. Super funny guy, kinda quirky, and fair as hell in grading. TAKE THIS GUY!!!
Pretty easy class. 3 quizzes, a mid-term and final exam. Quizzes weren't too difficult. The mid-term and final were open note/book essays. We did five or six group essays about a topic discussed in class that week, but it wasn't bad. Lots of extra credit chances. Does not use powerpoint for lecture so be sure to pay attention.
A very good teacher. His classes were straight forward and that is what should be expected for a government class. I have no issues with the teacher except for the fact he is very liberal making for a rough ride for any conservative students. Since this is a government class I wish he was more politically neutral in his lectures but he was not.
if you put in the effort and do the work, you will pass with an A no problem. I had the once a week class and make sure you come!! attendance is mandatory. don't buy the book, take notes in class
His class is relatively easy, just do the work and you'll easily pass with an A no problem. He's really biased with his opinions so if you like to debate, he wont call on you to voice your opinion. his "non partisan hat" is never on. Influences people to vote for his candidate and talks massive smack about the opposing party. He's annoying but easy
Very easy going professor and really helped shine a new light on some very important issues in American politics. He lets everyone have a voice in the class and loves it when people want to discuss the topic. He doesn't let his personal opinions get in the way of presenting the topics.
This is a great class, but not challenging. There are a couple of weekly essays with your group so take notes during class and they'll be a piece of cake. The midterm/final will also be based on those essays so be sure to have them tests are open note. The homework is a little lengthy but common sense& due end of semester. Extra credit is easy.
Attendance matters!! Trust me when I say it will help your grade. Every week we had a one page group paper, but you can also work individually. The papers help toward your midterm and final. Lectures are ok, he's a good prof. I would take him again. STUDY and READ! You'll be fine.
Extremely liberally biased professor. Very annoying because he loves going off topic about things he's uninformed of. Tried to counterargue his claims, but he would completely ignore me. Either than that, class is super-super easy. Just take notes, read them and you will pass. 1 page essay assigned every 3 weeks, 1 midterm, 1 final, & learnsmart
Very easy class. If you take good notes on his lectures and review them before the quizzes then you will easily get an A. Midterm and final are open note and there are plenty of opportunities for extra credit.
I took Kirshner for Policymaking and it was a pretty easy class. The class was taught in a seminar fashion and was mostly discussions. He assigns readings for every class for in class discussion. I did not even have the book and everything was totally fine. No homework, only a 10 page final paper. Pay attention in class and you will learn a lot.
There are group essays every week but they are short & easy. Only two exams that have essays that are open book and note and are graded very easy. A lot of extra credit if you have perfect attendance and complete all assignments. He's a good professor and lectures well.
Prof. lectures every class. Taking notes is a must but will definitely be helpful in the end.
EASY A! Amazing professor, I feel like he definitely understands college students. He makes his class easy. Just go to class. Exams are opened book.
Pay attention in class. You HAVE to attend or you won't do well. You have to do the readings but they're repetitive of the lecture. He was an alright professor and goes off topic A LOT (still relevant). Exams are essays and they're mostly on the lectures so don't stress so much on the readings. He gives u hints in class on what's on exams + quizzes
Overall a decent teacher, attendance was madatory. His exams were open book and overall an easy class.
He was one of my favorite professors this semester. The class is primarily group essays (which are incredibly easy if you were at the lecture) and some online work that's also fairly easy and usually doesn't even require the textbook to be read. The midterm and final are 2 quizzes and an essay, the essay is open note/book.
Great professor! Don't buy the book. Every class was a group discussion, totally voluntary to participate in the discussion, but attendance was mandatory (with a ton of lenience). 50% of grade was attendance; 50% was a 10 page research paper. This was my third class with him and I really want to take another with him!
He took 2 points off your final grade per class you missed. We had a group paper due every week (pretty simple), and both exams were essays. His quizzes were very hard. No study guide. Very random and specific questions. Gave a total of 10 points extra credit (full letter grade). Overall not that hard. I only missed 1 class and it made me lose my A
Show up to the lectures. He deducts 2 points for every absence. Group essays - fairly easy if you know what you writing about. Everyone should participate. Has about 9 online assignments. Each assignment has about 40 questions. no wrong answer. Keep answering questions until to get to 40. The midterm and final are in class essays.
Orin is a great professor. He's passionate about what he teaches. Attendance matters, group participation matters too. There are online assignments that are required for the online book but it's not hard at all. Quizzes and Tests come from book open book/notes for all. Essays is required, must do well on those. Lecture is long but interesting.
He gives so much extra credit it's amazing! Be sure to show up to class though cause it's a big part of the grade. You don't do anything in class anyway so just show up and get the grade. He needs better TAs but besides that he's great.
Good class, easy except for the group essays every week which are kinda difficult trying to get in contact with everyone (switch out of your group asap if no one else is writing the essays)
Constant miscommunication between TAs, professor, and students. The only constant grades received are weekly group essays and attendance which are both scored either -2/0 or 0/0. TAs grading is very nit picky. Professor knows a lot about the material he is teaching but isnt good at maintaining a course. A lot of extra credit at the end though.
He decides the group at the beginning. Group essays every week. Tests & quizzes open book, notes, everything. Extra credit opportunities available. Deducts points for not attending class. Should take notes during lecture because that's basically the essays & he doesn't post his PP online.
Very easy class. Group essays due once a week. Only test is midterm and final and they are open notes, book and internet. Does take attendance but not important if you don't attend lecture. Provides extra credit.
Honestly, this class is a joke. Orin Kirshner is never transparent about what he wants from you. The group papers? Better hope the TA's are just feeling generous. The tests? Easy but hard if you don't read it right. What is just mainly aggravating is that he gives you the option for extra credit, but doesn't treat it as such. Just an assignment.
Amazing professor, I've taken him four times and have received four A's. Grading, for this course (American Trade Policy), is 50% final paper and 50% attendance. If you miss a class for whatever reason, just be sure to give him a heads up next class and he'll give you an excused absence. If you forget to give him the heads up, he docks you 2 points
Group essays are a pain (one every week). Its pass or fail & if one of ur group mates does badly so do you. But the exams (only 2) are open EVERYTHING (internet, notes, book). The exams are long & consist of multiple essays & quizzes. All assignments aside from the exams are out of 0 points (wont help ur grade if you do it, hurts it if u dont).
Show up to class. Dont take 8am because if youre tired you cant miss this class. Graded on attendance. TAs grade mostly everything. Exams are open everything. Homework is easy. Group projects are annoying but not bad. I would take again.
This class is the easiest one on my schedule of six business courses. The midterm and final are both extremely easy and open book and not. There are essays, but you complete them in a group and they are pass/fail so there is not pressure to do amazing, only pressure to do good enough.
This class was the easiest class I've ever taken. You have group essays every week, online assignments and one midterm and one exam which is all open book and computer!! You have to show up to class, attendance is a big part of your grade. Dont buy the textbook, only get the online book, the paperback is a waste. Would 100% take this course again!!
If you want an easy A take this course. The course consists of weekly group discussions over the readings and a research paper at the end as a final. The class has no right or wrong answers, no real home work (beside the 10 page paper), and really is inclusive to all view points.
You get assigned into a group for the whole class, the group writes an essay each week and turns it in for 0 points. You get an incomplete or a complete (checkmark or X on canvas grades). Gets back to you quickly on email. Offers extra credit if you complete spots. Just don't forget to look at the syllabus and complete your essays and assignments
I would take this class again in a second. Do the work, you pass the class. There are weekly essays that you do with a group and some online assignments. Don't buy the physical book, just buy the code for the online book. This class is a super easy A if you show up and do the work... its really not hard. The prof is also amazing and easy to reach.
Dr. Kirshner is excellent; his lectures are clear and easy to understand. Posts slides in advance, knows what he is talking about, and encourages students to ask questions. 2 exams, weekly 1-page essays, 1 book to read, online reading and homework. I would take him again. This is a very easy class, just do the work.
Great class. He has his lectures and there is not much to do. Very caring and easy class. Would suggest taking greatly.
This professor taught a super easy online class. As long as you do the homework and take the tests you'll be fine. Make sure you do well on the two tests though because they're quite a bit of your grade and there's not much else to grade you on. He offers a lot of extra credit. He's not very helpful when you email him so go to his office hours.
Professor Kirshner is a great professor! On the first day of class, he was very specific on his grading rubric and everything. Open book test, there's no way you can fail. There is group assignments where you have to write an essay about the lecture every week, but it's a piece of cake. Just go to class and it's an easy A! Take him for this class
This class is overall pretty easy. The one thing which you should be warned about is the group essays. I took this class online, and throughout the entire semester I did ALL of the essays, and it got annoying really fast even though they're not very hard. It's unlikely that your group is going to split work evenly, so be warned.
Never met him but she responds to emails quickly and class is extremely easy. There's group essays that are extremely easy as well and my group just alternated turns each week.
I took this class online expecting it to be some boring class that I had to do in order to get my credit. However, the lectures this man creates are genuinely beautiful--theyre educational and factual, but you don't feel overwhelmed or bored by watching them. 10/10
Good professor. He's very knowledgeable about politics and it shows in his lectures. At the beginning of class you're out into groups where u have to take turns writing weekly essays but they're pretty easy, just make sure you stick to the prompt you're given. Midterms and final exam is open book. U don't have to take a lot of notes. Get the book.
Work wise, this class is pretty easy. If you have a cooperative group, it is quite easy to switch off who writes the essay for the week. However, I am not sure why everyone says the exams are easy, because they are not. The questions on the exam are very open ended and hard to choose the correct answer. If you fail the midterm, you fail the class.
I would not recommend taking this class if you enjoy an organized course experience. Dr. Kirshner is never transparent about the materials you should be using for studying, which can lead to getting bad grades on exams. The exams may be open book, note, and internet, but the book nor the internet can help you. The questions on exams are open ended.
As a student that once had a 4.00 GPA for three semesters, after getting a B in this course, I highly recommend to not take this course. After Module 6, the information provided has nothing to do with that is on the exams. The exams are challenging and very open ended, which allows for wrong answers to be easily chosen. The group essays are a waste
His online lectures were easy to follow and a lot of the information needed for assignments is based on lecture. I don't know how he is in person since this class was online, but there really wasn't a connection with the professor, which some students could like. There were also weekly group essays, so you need to hope you get good members.
Lies to his students, promises extra credit then sumbmitted final grades without adding it. Had to file a painstakingly long report with the school. Save yourself the time and effort.
super easy class and the lectures are easy to understand. Just do the essays on time and the extra credit. Only one midterm and three small quizzes for the final.
Grading based on smart book participation, midterm, and final. All of the exam questions come right from the recorded lectures, which are organized and not very long. Readings are short as well. Weekly group essays, which can be annoying but are graded very easily. Good class to take over short summer term.
Really great at teaching concepts. All tests were open note. Shouldn't need to read the book at all if you go to lecture. Only homework is weekly group essays. Whole class is only out of 100 points, so doing poorly on one test could really mess you up. Great guy though.
This class was a breeze, and enjoyable too!
Professor Kirshner was engaging and his exams were simple. You are required to do group essays, but they are graded very leniently and are mostly completion based. Exams are incredibly simple and as long as you watch the lectures (I recommend *2 speed), you will be great. He was very kind and considerate, a strong professor all around. Fun class.
Even though there are group essays every week- thats about all the work there is. Just a mid-term and final.
This professor is extremely bland, uninteresting, and frankly very rude. The level of education obtained through his course is laughable at best. There is absolutely no reference to the book in which you are required to buy. The lectures are extremely boring and most of the time it is just him asking very vague and dumb questions. DO NOT TAKE
Lectures are incredibly boring, but not horrible. What got me about this class was the weekly group assignment. You are assigned a 3-4 member group for the semester and you submit a paper long essay each week, easy, but none of my other members helped. ): overall the class is simple, just do the work and you'll be good!
Not hard at all, literally an easy A. The only annoying thing is the fact that he makes us do weekly essays with groups.
Prof. Kirshner is such a sweet man. The class itself is kind of boring, but so easy. We have weekly group essays, but they're easy & if you have good group members, you guys can take turns doing it. Main grades are the midterm/final which (essay questions & you can get the answers directly off the prerecorded lectures). He wants everyone to do well
Professor Kirshner is very disorganized with the assignments and very rude towards his students. In canvas he has assignments listed as 1 point but failed to explain to the students its really worth 5 points. He lies about xtra credits and when asked a question his answers are vague and condescending. Hes the worst teacher Ive had in college
Took this class over summer semester. Teacher is well spoken and explains things well and in a relevant way. Weekly zoom calls with various discussion topics - most of which were fun and insightful. Grade was based on interactive chapter assignments in the ebook, a midterm exam and a final exam. There were also a few extra credit opportunities.
Attendance was required even the day before Thanksgiving. While the class was easy, Orin is very rude and inconsiderate. Had 5 small quizzes, 3 short papers, these weird go-at-your own-pace online questions and a weekly group paper with 2-3 other students. He changed the date for the questions unexpectedly just before winter break. Very rude guy.
Main work comes from the group essays - more like 600 word short responses. If you go in accepting that your group probably wont do any of the work and you will have to do it yourself. Its not that bad, and is basically completion. Bunch of extra credit at the extra semester. Overall smooth class and respectable Professor.
Prof. Kirshner was the worst professor I've had. As a professional athlete I had a competition the week of an exam, I offered to come in at another time or do it online, I gave every possible solution yet it was never good enough for him. He's a hard grader & disrespectful of student's time. Don't take a course with him if you have other options
This is how the class is structured: there is a lecture once a week and after that, you are given a group essay to complete about the lecture. It is a pass/fail lecture, which as long as you try on it, you will get the point for it. Your grade is made up of 10 homeworks, around 10 essays, the midterm, and the final. Easy ways to get extra cred. A+
Great prof!!!!!! The class is based on group essays and attending the lectures. As long as you pay attention to the lectures and do your work youll pass the course.
Very easy class and great professor. Class consists of easy online assignments due at the end of the semester and weekly essays that are assigned to a group, so you can alternate who does the essay each week. Final and midterm are super easy, but they make up the majority of your final grade. Lots of opportunities for extra credit.
You will do group essays weekly but it's just a completion grade, attendance is a big thing, the only tests you take are the midterm and final, and we have to complete the McGill chapters. Don't buy the paper book. Just show up, meet the deadlines, and this class is an easy A. Do NOT take his 8 am if you're not a morning person though.
Its okay class work is pretty easy but there aren't many grades so make sure to not screw up on the final and midterm.
He is really nice and goes pretty in depth in his lectures. Attendance is mandatory and points will be taken off if you do not show up. There are also weekly essays which people will do in small groups. Test are open book and open note. His lectures are easy to understand and he is passionate about the material.
If you do not pass this class you shouldn't be in college, it's practically a participation grade. There are 8 HW assignments all are due at end semester they take about 15 minutes you can do them all in 2 hours and not worry about it anymore. Group essays once a week and they're participation if you do it you pass. Take this professor
The TA's did all of the grading, there were weekly group essays that don't necessarily count for points but if you don't do them it's -2 points for each one not completed. Paid $115 for an acess code for McGraw Hill to do 9 assignments that are only worth 1 pt each. midterm & a final. If you have bad partners in your group- good luck.
Professor Kirshner was a nice guy, always available if students required help throughout the semester. The TA's for Political Science were also just as helpful/considerate. The class is not graded on many assignments besides the smart textbook. As a heads up, there are many group essays needed to pass the class. Would definitely take him again.
I took this class online and over the summer. The course itself was easy and required group work and individual assignments. The TAs give great feedback on assignments and Professor Kirshner's lectures are great. Overall the work assigned was very straightforward and should be an easy A as long as you complete everything.
Easiest class I've ever taken. Weekly group essays that are completion-based (-2 points for every one not completed). Textbook hw modules that all have quizlets w/ answers. Midterm and Final are online, no lockdown browser or anything. If you can't pass this class, reconsider college. Also, take his class online, much easier than in-person.
Engaging and informative lectures, weekly group essays (extremely simple), and connect homework assignments. The professor recommends you purchase the physical textbook (different from the connect one) since questions on the test will be pulled from all 3 (lecture, connect, book) sources but I think you can do just fine without it. Would take again
He was a pretty good professor, a little hands off, and there was a good amount of homework, one group essay a week (which I didn't LOVE) + a quiz type thing but the lectures were straight to the point and gave you everything you needed for the essay. He was great about answering emails quickly and was incredibly understanding.
I took this class during intersession and we only had to do two essays, but we had partners to work on the essays together. He did not specify how long or how many words the essay has to be as long as it's long enough and turned in on time. He made us do chapter questions which were very easy. Highly recommend this professor.
Had him for POS 2041 easiest class I've taken. He assigns a group essay every week that's based off the lecture. Taking notes for the lectures were easy he just talks fast but I know people who had a really hard time but if you're good at note taking, you're fine. Attendance wasn't mandatory but he gave extra credit if you never missed.
He is a very nice guy and loves the subject. He can be politically biased at times, but it is a political science class, so... Open note, book midterm and final quizzes, with weekly group essays. The hardest part is writing one essay during the midterm and two during the final, a fairly easy A or easy pass if you do the work a show up to lecture
Took him for a Wed/Fri 1.5-hour long class and when I tell you this class moves slower than any 3-hour lecture I've taken, I mean it. He drags out every class discussion for no reason. Attendance is taken and unless he allows your absence it's -2 points off your final grade. Only graded on attendance and final paper.
I enjoyed kirshners class. There is a group essay every week that isn't graded, but if you do not do it, its -2 whole points from your grade, so do it! Lots of extra credit oppurtunitys at the end of the semester. I would take him again!
Pretty easy, you have one module per week. Every module has a group essay and lecture video (you don't need to watch but it will help on the group assignment). Some also have a Smartbook assignment which can be pretty long. The only exams were the midterm and final which were extremely straightforward and basic questions about US history.
This was the easiest class I have taken in my entire academic career. Professor is helpful and lenient. The textbook was never used, but the smartbook you will need to complete the digital homework assignments. All exams were open-computer; if you can't pass with an A - please give up. Group work is easy if you have responsible teammates.
Easy class with engaging lectures and helpful TAs. The weekly group essays are simple, and Unstuck study's resources complemented the textbook well for exam prep.
I took this class for winter intermission so it was only 4 week class, and I highly recommend if you want to get the class done with. You have to get the book which is $100 because the homework is taken through the book. There is 6 homework assignments that take 1-2 hours each. You also have to complete 2 group essay that are about 1-2 pages long.
His course consists of 9 smartbooks, which are adaptive problem sets of multiple choice government questions (about 100~ questions each), as well as a weekly essay. The smartbooks are graded on completion while the essays are graded extremely leniently. There are quizzes and final exams that are all multiple choice. Very easy course.
Attendance is required or you lose points. Online smartbook for points, but easy. Exams were was 'open notes, open book, open internet'. The topics on the essay exams were theory and bit hard, but it is open book so... The TAs also held both midterm and final exam reviews for the exam material. Group work was annoying due to useless groupmates.
This class and professor was very easy. Show up for class because attendance affects your grade. There are small 9 sentence essays that you do in a group every week but it can be done in less than 30 minutes.
This course is generally very simple. It's broken down enough to the point where it's quite impossible to fail. Everything is open note. However, if you miss class, your grade will tank significantly.
This course was amazing! You only need to complete weekly readings before class, but participation does not really matter; however, attendance is mandatory for your grade. There was no homework, just a 10-page paper, which you had the whole semester to complete. He is easy-going and kind, just make an effort and put in the work!
Professor Kirshner was a simple man with clear instruction and consistent grading/assignments. The class did not require much effort and was interesting to learn about. Very chill class and teacher.
