Course material not so difficult. A couple of the exams were tough.
Great teacher, some hard stats classes but overall very dedicated.
Great teacher, helpful although u have to study hard for the tests and pop quiz
He's the devil. He sux at life and is a waste of sperm!
Nice guy, easy class if you read on time and prepare
He can be tough but he really knows his stuff. The class is worth the work.
You can learn a lot from him, but there is no way to get an A!!!!
hard teacher but is willing to help his students out
Go easy on him. He is suffering from a bad haircut, and classes filled with back-to-school know-it-all housewifes or divorcees, who try to teach HIM. He is doing the best he can. Yeah the tests are tricky, but not if read. This is COLLEGE, people
Great teacher, great guy. Tough material, but he's very straightforward on his tests and quizzes...just do the reading and the homework and you'll do fine. Will go out of his way to help you out, as long as you're putting in an effort.
pretentious, expects undergrads to be like graduate students, ridiculously hard and unhelpfull,
The most challenging and rewarding class I have ever taken. Read, study, study, ask questions, and study, and you can learn alot form dr O.
Big time ****. Extreme Republican. Better agree with his views if you want a decent grade. My average in his class: Quizes 95 Exams 89 Final grade? C!!! Gee, I'm sorry I'm not ****. The only thing I learned was his twisted version of psychology.
Best teacher I've had at Bridgewater
Worst class ever, only two people left in it out of 55. Impossible to pass and he likes it that way. Never had a worse Prof.
worst professor ever. Blamed my class that we were not doing the work we needed to be doing because just about the whole class was failing only 4 people left in the class at the end. maybe if he was a good prof. his whole class wouldn't fail DO NOT TAKE!!
He always talks off topic, which you would think would be good but then he doesn't touch apon things that will be on the test. Very difficult for me because his tests were hard. I am a psychology major and I wouldn't take him again.
The class material is kinda hard, but he gives you chapter outlines and optional review questions. You still have to read the text and pay attention in his class. It's hard work, but I still got an A. Very opinionated though, don't bother arguing.
Out of about 25 of us 5 were left!!!!! He was rude and obnoxious. Not helpful. thinks u should know everything and he thinks he knows everything!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst professor I have had!!!!!!!

Very difficult teacher. Be prepared for pop quizzes and difficult tests. Creating outlines as suggessted is helpful but very time consuming and would be possible if you only have that class to focus on. Expects a lot from students and has very high expectations for grades.
Material isn't hard, but the tests are. You really need to carefully read the chapters to do well on the tests. He's not a horrible teacher, he just expects a lot from students.
Very Hard. Tests you on material not covered. I have A's or A-'s in all my psych classes but I got a C+ in his.
nice guy, extremely hard class. all my other classes i'm getting B+s or As, in this class i'm grasping onto a C-. tests on material not covered.

EXTREMELY HARD PROF! does not help students at all. answers questions w/ another question. not willing to help. tests are impossible to do good on unless u are able to memorize the entire book! notes dont help AT ALL. horrible. will never take another class with him!
He is so ignorant. He asks if you have any ?'s then yells at you for asking and not reading enough of the book. I will never take another one with him
Jerk. Encourages students to ask questions, and then yells at you for asking certain things. Sends his students mixed messages. It's his way or the highway. Don't take him.
This is the worst professor I've had so far! His class is so hard, and the tests are rediculous. He is also very rude. Does not scale tests and threatens us for pop quizzes. I will never take his class again! I hate going to this class!
I won't lie this class was very difficult and yes he puts material on the test that he doesn't cover in class but it's all in the book and he tells you that. The man is hard but it's also a really great way to learn. I got an A in the class and still had a life too. Quit whining- welcome to college
The class is pretty easy you just have to read. He definetly goes over pretty muchall material on exams. I can't imagine doing bad in his class. But he says some really off things in class. I understand eveyone has their own opinion but come on. What a name for the class huh?
He's actually a really easy professor. You have the option to not even go to class and you could do fine, but I'd go because it saves a lot of reading. I thought he was really helpful and it would be hard to do bad in his class.
His classes are hard, however if you do your work and show dedication you will do fine. He is a hard teacher and the tests are difficult, if you dont want to work then don't take the class, however he is extremely intelligent and a good teacher
This guy is a genius. His tests are hard, but there are no papers to write. It was worth the lowering of my GPA to take this interesting class. Very nice guy too.
He is condescending and unfair. He discusses things and words them ridiculously on a quiz. If you talk to him about it, YOU are wrong no matter what!
Inconsistent in class guidlines; turned class into a statistics class
Rude and definetly a peacock
his classes are very boring and you'll fall asleep in twenty minutes of class. Then his tests are so hard you'll be like we never went over this. His class and test are just plain boring.
He's a good teacher. Go to the classes listen to his lectures and study for the tests. He gives you examples of what is going to be on the tests. If you study and work hard you should do fine.
This class was horrible... he was a horibble teacher and very unclear. Tests were hard. He only gave us 5 tests and that is whatt your final grade is based on so if you don't do good on the test your screwed....
Nice guy, teaches well, but gives really difficult tests. Study hard if you take one of his classes!!
He was rude and obnoxious. He blamed the whole class failing on us being "lazy and stupid." So I said "We all have GPA's of 3.6 or better and we're all failing what does that tell you Mr. Stat's Prof?" He said I should drop, so I did and took most of the class with me. I got an A with another Prof. STAY AWAY, he's the worst Prof ever!
Terrible teacher and wrote the book... very unclear about what was on the tests and tests were extremely hard ....went to every class and only could manage a D....i wouldnt suggest this teacher to anyone
He seems to only help the pretty girls. I hated the class. I did an extra report and even asked if I was doing it correctly. He told me yes then told me no and gave me a D. I can't stand him!!!
He is a little opinionated, but he teaches extremely well. His book is written in a format that gives specific examples of everything instead of just randomly throwing something at you. He teaches class in a logical manner that is easy to follow, and he is approachable if you take an interest in his subject.
He's a diffcult teacher. Do not take this course unless you are intrested to learn. You need to go to the classes and study for the exams. He tells you what is going to be on them.. All tests are multiple choice which I found very helpful, If you have diffculty in the class go talk to him individually! He really is a nice guy.
He is very into what he is teaching. He explains everything and if you take notes on EVERYTHING that he says and puts up, and study that then you will be in good shape. He does expect you to read the book (which he wrote mind you) every night and study all the time. If you are smart and listen in class then you really won't have to.
terrible expects to much of you
i don't know what any of you people are talking about. this teacher rocks. he's very straight forward about what he expects, and his tests are very straight forward also. he doesn't try to trick, he just simply explains and then tests on the material covered. he's very helpful if you take the time to ask for help.
Awesome Prof! Go to class (even though its not manditory) and listen and take the notes, and you have all the answer to the multiple choice tests he gives out! dont go to class and take poor notes?....good luck buddy
He isnt everyones cup of tea, he is hard but fair, i liked him but i can see how some people wouldnt.
This professor is great. I just took him for the second time and he's really straight forward about what he expects. You have to be really dumb or just a total slacker not to get a good grade in his class.
Boring lecture, doesn't exactly make class fun. Never any hw except reading the textbook. Grades only on 4 exams. Exams are multiple choice, but impossible if you don't study. Clear in what he teaches and expects. Lectures straight from the book in clearer form. Attendance doesn't count, you need to be motivated to go. Study and you'll get an A.

do NOT take this professor. get out NOW while you can. He is a horrible teacher, and very full of himself & is very awkward. Always talks about himself. His notes on the board are the most difficult thing ive ever followed because he is all over the place. I even had an advisor tell me to not take a class of his!!
he is not a good prof. he is very full of himself and not helpful. he wrote the txt book and if you ask him to help explain something from the text book he words it the exact same way! i did not find him helpful or the class to be fun. he made me change my major.
Very hard class doesnt teach in a good manor, he wrote the book tells much about the way he is huh? the class consists of 4 tests that are extremely hard and confusing and that is the only thing you get graded on. I dont reccommend him to anyone
very hard professor..and very tricky exams!! I am a good student with a good GPA and I went to vey one of his classes..studied a ton and only managed to get a D in his class! He is kind of rude and is not very helpful at all. The majorty of my class was barely passing and he seemed to like it that way.
nice guy. grades on ONLY 4 tests through hole semester. no homework except to read and doesnt care if you go to class. tests have nothing to do with the book or what he talks aboubt in class.
This guy is the worst professor I've EVER had. I recommend no one take him for pysch. He told us the first day of class that the final is optional and never brought it up again and assumed we'd let him know if we were taking it. It was 50% of our grade and he never showed up. Enough said
Attendance is not mandatory, however so much information is covered in one class. The test are tricky but if you study you will do well. Some of the test questions are from lectures so recommend showing up for class. He is very clear on how he teaches and what he expects. I enjoyed the challange. Got an A-
Took in summer. Really nice guy. Idk why people say he's hard. He doesn't give study guides but we had two days of class then a test but no study guides. Asked if we had questions every step and would change the syllabus if we needed more time on a topic. I was expecting mean and arrogant after seeing these reviews but he's actually a nice guy.
Avoid taking his class. His tests are really hard and have no relevance to his lectures or the book. He is arrogant and all he does is make us feel bad. The first week of class he put up statistics to show us that psych majors are the least likely to be happy in life. If you go to him for help he will just say your study habits are poor.
He's a super nice guy. His lectures and exams follow closely with the book so as long as youre reading and studying you'll be fine. Only downfall is that he wrote the book so buying it costs a boatload.Pretty good class other than that
I have never had him as a teacher, but as an adviser he is HORRIBLE. He was late for the appointment I set up with him, did not seem to care about me as a student, and could not answer any of my questions. If you get him as an adviser, put in a request for someone else or just go to drop in advising.
worst teacher i have ever had. Doesnt want to help you and thinks you should know everything he knows. I would not recommend him for any student. He makes you feel stupid and his tests are impossible. He contradicts himself alot.. do not take him. i have to retake his class. only 4 people in my class got above a C.
Ok slackers. Allot of our rating s are more based on how leineint your professors should be. He holds you accountable for learning the material like a good teacher should. A c in his class, while not awsome for your transcript, means you learned allot. Thats why I went there. Why did you?
He's a smart man but he expects too much out of students. Unfortunately he makes psych not fun & easy like it should be, probably because he used to be a science teacher...also each chapter in his textbook is at least 30 pages & are necessary to read if you want to pass -__-
Not a professor I would recommend to anyone. He is extremely hard and can be rude. His tests are challenging and are not always related to the textbook and lecture notes. He seems to think your opinion doesn't matter. Hard to ask questions or state concerns. Just DON'T take him, its not worth it.
He is a smart man.He wrote his own book and therefore his lecture and the book aren't different so when he goes to help you he just recites what was written in his textbook.During my class, he put down the college and said that htose who attend state universities are "average" compared to such extraordinary students at Harvard.Wouldn't recommend.
One of the WORST professors I've ever had. He doesn't believe in study guides, so be prepared to read 2-3 chapters worth of info with no emphasis on what's important until you're handed the test. Also, be ready to read a book and watch a German movie that have NOTHING to do with anything you're learning. This is a psych class, not a history class!!
one of the worst professors ive had. He thinks his opinion is always right and treats the class as a history class instead of a psych class. gets mad when you dont know the answer to something. tests hardly make sense and its all things we've never heard before, not even in notes. extremely frustrating and i never feel smart when im in his class.
His test are extremely hard if you do not read the book. He knows what he is talking about and loves the subject. If your good with test I'd take him you learn a lot. Otherwise I recommend you go to a diff professor.
He is the most ignorant person I've ever met. DO NOT TAKE HIM! He gets off track rarely but when he does he brings up controversial issues and what he says is right! His tests are impossible and there's one almost every week. There's no homework but you must read the entire book, take notes and study them to get a C on his tests. Good luck!
He know his stuff but just isn't a very good teacher. Our grades are based on exams that are very difficult. Do not take him unless you are good at exams. He seems arrogant and makes us feel dumb. Try to avoid taking his class :(
Prof. Olivares is an excellent teacher. He takes the time to explain any questions you may have. All you have to do is show up to class, pay attention and read the book. He gives 4 multiple choice quizzes based of the lectures and book. The book is extremely easy to read. Highly recommended if you want to learn. That is why we go to college.
I have mixed feelings about this professor. While he may know his topic and be well educated on it, he also is very difficult when it comes to tests. They are multiple choice, and tricky. I would recommend if you are not a psych major, take someone else. He's not easy, and there is very little leeway grade wise. Also, no midterm/final.
This was my first semester as a student at BSU and I took I/O Psych just figuring it would be easy since I am a Psych major. He is very intelligent and constantly used big words during his lectures that would throw me off. I felt extremely stupid. He is also very condescending. I dropped it after the first week.
He's always a tough professor, but you will learn a ton. He goes quickly through his lecture and you are done. Tests are multiple choice scantrons. No writing in this class, just those tests. He's very conservative politically, so don't get him started on it if you have an opposing view and don't want to debate it! Knows his stuff.
Had a stats class with him. He knows his stuff. We had a test and pop quiz every week on multiple chapters. He gives no study guides and tells you to use your notes and book as reference. But the book uses different definitions and formulas than the one he gives in class. He won't tell you how well your doing and makes you feel stupid
DO NOT TAKE HIM. He is rude, arrogant, not helpful, & inconsiderate. He told us 95% of the class got the same 7 questions wrong yet it was our fault that he didn't cover it in class. Flies through lectures & expects you to be able to figure out what is going on. Good luck if you take him, I had to because he was the only professor available RIP GPA
Do NOT take this class. All this guy does is reference the text book HE wrote. It seems that he has us teach ourselves instead of teaching the class. He speaks with no emotion and just expects you to know everything he does. Not a fun class.
I would not recommend this professor towards new students. He only gives 6 exams and they are difficult. Multiple choice but extremely difficult. One piece of advice: Read.the.book.
DO NOT TAKE HIM!!! this professor is very hard and thinks that he knows everything. I took psychology of learning with him and i learned nothing except had to watch a 2 and a half hour long movie with german subtitles. He doesnt care about his students and pretty much tries to make people fail for his own personal pleasure. trust me.
I honestly liked this professor despite all the stuff on here about him.. But his test are IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!! I left his test thinking I got at least an 80, studied for HOURS.. and got a 60... This is the field I want to go into so I had no choice but just prepare yourself.. Take less classes if needed... Focus on just this class if you can!
This man is the most condescending person I think I've ever met. He only cares that he got tenure and that he is getting paid. His tests are all multiple choice (60+) and from a book he wrote. Don't take him.
Worst professor I've had. He is rude and narcissistic. He goes through lectures very fast, and he does not teach the information well. If you ask a question that even challenges his opinion on psychology he will shut you down and change the subject. He thinks his opinions are law and will not teach anything else. Don't take any classes with him.
Probably the worst professor I've ever had. He is unwilling to listen to student opinions that are different from his own and he is extremely arrogant. When you ask questions in class, he makes you feel stupid, and one time he actually laughed at me for doing an example wrong on the board. If at all possible, AVOID HIM.
VERY VERY HARD. He knows his stuff but he expects you to know what hes talking about. the tests are really hard. the only way youd ever do good in that class is if you read his textbook and teach yourself
his tests are IMPOSSIBLE to do good on. theres no point in taking notes in class because they DONT help you for the test. you have to read the book yourself and teach yourself in order to understand what is going on. good luck, because i study every day to try and understand everything, and i still get 60s on the tests
This professor is the most arrogant person I have ever met. His tests are absolutely impossible, studying weeks ahead of time doesn't matter, reading the book is pointless, and don't waste your time taking notes. Laughs at your answers to his questions, even if they're right. Seems he gets enjoyment of his class having a failing average.
DONT TAKE IT. YOU WILL REGRET IT. YOU WILL HAVE THE WORST HEADACHE AFTER TAKING THIS COUSE. HE IS IMPOSSIBLE.
DO NOT TAKE. Seriously this gut is so arrogant. He thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm a good student and I always try my best but I'm consistently getting D's on my tests even though I study for weeks!
Do not take his class. Took him my first semester and spent all my time studying for this class. Half of my class had to drop the class because it was so hard. the other half barely passed. He is no help and will ruin your GPA!
Olivares certainly has the knowledge base to effectively teach an intro psych class. However, his background in industrial psychology causes his lectures to have undertones of pessimism/elitism, and his humor is a bit edgy, borderlining on racially offensive. For an intro class, the amount of material is insane. You'll learn a lot but work hardest.
Hardest class I have ever taken. Grade is based all on tests, which are difficult. He tries to purposely trick you with questions so even when you study, its pointless. Offers no extra credit, or other assignments to boost grade. I found I could not approach him, very arrogant.
I am currently enrolled in this class and I dread going every week. All he gives us are tests...I do horrible on tests so I am practically failing. He has no extra assignments or homework and says students shouldn't have extra credit so don't ask. He is self absorbed and ignorant. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!
he is very direct, as long as you read and take notes you will do well,
Extremely difficult professor. Miss class Miss tons of notes. Lectures are really boring and feel like forever. He doesn't allow you to even ask for extra credit. Barely helps with anything. Tests are horrible. Do not take this class if you want an easy A. Catch phrase: "I bet you a dollar and a dunkin' donut". Oh and he wrote his own textbook.
I personally cannot stand him. Thee have been several occasions where my friends or I had to make up a test and he gives us appointments to see him during office hours and he does't show up. His class is pretty much based around his own beliefs and thoughts. His lectures aren't very clear and notes never seem to make sense.
Very smart guy and defiantly knows his stuff, but the class is hard. If you do not study do not except to pass the exams. Defiantly study on the regular not just the day before.
The test are very difficult and so are the pop quizzes. I always go in confident thinking i know my material but my grades would say other wise. He is interesting but its just not worth ruining your GPA over.
He gives pop quizzes close to every week. It includes material you haven't covered either. His exams are beyond difficult, and you have to study beyond what he provides in class. Does not go over some things for test, so book is a must. I would not take him again. He is also not afraid to embarrass you in front of the class if you make a mistake.
The class was pretty straight forward, if you attended class, read, & prepared for the exams you would do great in the class. He gives you study questions at the beginning of the semester for all the exams - it's really helpful. Don't wait until the night before to study (hence my grade) make a study guide from chapter questions he gives.
Getting an A in this class is very possible but you have to work for your grade. You must purchase the textbook. Try to highlight and underline to understand the material. Pop quizzes are given so be prepared. He is not a bad professor. He does clarify any questions you have but he wont waste is time with you if he sees your not putting any effort.
If you're not a psych major, taking this class with Olivares is probably a bad idea. He gives 6 tests which are worth 94% of your grade and they are all multiple choice. Don't ask for extra credit. If you want to do well, pay attention and take notes in class. Most importantly, take notes from the textbook and study them religiously.
Im obsessed with him!!! He makes you work for your grade! go to class take good notes and study more than the night before the class. Misunderstood for arrogant, he just really crazy smart and straight to the point. would take again in a heartbeat. you will need to try hard no free passes or extra credit but you will learn alot!!!! for psych majors
Honestly the topic was not my favorite. He honestly was not a bad professor at all. I would take a class with him again.
He's is very rude and arrogant. Your grade in the class is literally only exams and the exams are difficult. He uses the textbook HE wrote. You basically have to teach yourself and hope for the best. Do not take him.
His lectures are like watching paint dry. In addition, he's openly bigoted (once cited a study about white people being more intelligent than people of color) and seems to dislike liberals an awful lot for a professor at a liberal arts school. There was no point complaining about him, because he's tenured. I barely passed, and I'm a GOOD student.
Hard material and unrealistic expectations for an entry level class. Do not take
He literally is the most arrogant professor I've ever had the unfortunate experience of meeting. He expects students to know right off the bat about psychology. It's hard for an entry level class. He's knowledgeable about psychology but it's almost like he knows so much he doesn't know how to teach it to students who don't know much about it.
wish I dropped his class when the chance. studied the whole chapter right when we started it up until the tests, never got above a C.
For being someone that is usually good at Psychology I was highly disappointed in my professor. He was a very boring teacher for an 8am MWF and he was never clear on what the exams were on. His tests consists of about 60 questions; others was on text book and most of test was on info he never talked about. WOULDN'T recommend anyone taking him.
At first I was nervous about taking his class, he's very open about his opinions and is overall, quite dull for a psychology prof. But personally I appreciated how tough he was, it gave me a chance to push myself and some of the tips that he gave really helped out. (After the sections on memory and learning, my test grades started going up.)
This class is extremely difficult, I took amazing notes and did read the book and I was still failing all of the exams. I had to withdraw because I wasn't going to be able to participate in my sports. Save your self by not taking this class
Olivares is very straight forward with what he expects of you. Organized, outline style powerpoint slides, tests are basically right off the slides with a sprinkle of the textbook, which he follows closely. No quizzes, group projects or papers. Just exams, which if you study your notes, you should easily get As & Bs. I would take him again :)
I'm generally an A/B student but I never got above a 65 on his test. I read the book, took notes on the chapters, made flash cards and took in class notes, put in quiet a few hours studying for test and still failed. When I went to his office hours he told me "I was cheating the system, & that I was never going to succeed" I had to drop. DONT TAKE
most kids don't like him because he makes you work for work grade. because psychology is something you really have to understand and not just memorize- and you really have to find a way to do that on your own. he covers a lot in class, & i really wouldn't recommend him if you're not a psych major. class got me to change my major (not bad a thing)
Awful, unclear, mean and rude. He does not help and is very confusing. Do not take.
This class is supposed to be an orientation to the psychology major but all he does is talk about why we shouldn't major in psych! He is bitter and ignorant but claims to just be a realist. Wouldn't recommend at all. He has turned something I love into something I'm nervous to make a career of. I Really don't like this man.
This class is everything you put into it. If you are going to college to get easy A's and not actually put in the effort to learn, don't bother taking this class. He makes you work for your grade, so take the time to study exactly as he tells you to. He is extremely knowledgeable about this field and you can learn a ton from his lectures.
He's Actually really great despite what others say. Just read the book and study for the test and you'll do fine. What I also like from him is how real he is. He won't sugar coat anything, which honestly people need. Take him and get ready to work.
The material itself wasn't very difficult however the grade was based on 4 tests and no other projects or assignments. The test questions weren't always clear however if you could argue a valid point to him and cite the text and if he felt you validated you answer he would sometimes give some points back.
Terrible professor, very strict and tests were hard. Hard grader as well. Some material that were on his tests were not even covered in class. You also have tests very often.
this professor, is very straight forward with his work, he tells you what to read and you have to read it and keep up with the readings, if you don't you will not do well in the class. He only grades tests that he gives every 2 chapters so. He only does lecturing and reading out of the book, it was very boring.
Isn't helpful when you don't understand things, shuts down your interpretation of the topic. His tests are extremely hard and that's the only thing he grades on. DON'T TAKE HIM!!!!!
Pretty straight forward class. He wasn't the nicest of guys but he loved to answer questions, though he could get off topic sometimes. The material was easy and everything on the tests came straight out of the book. He just lectures everyday so pretty boring.
Professor Olivares is one of the worst professors on the entire campus. The textbook you use is written by him and each chapter is about 40 pages long. He expects you to read the chapter and create your own outline. You have 6 tests for the entire semester. My advice is do not take him for any course but, if you have to then read and work hard!!
He is the worst teacher I have ever taken! If you have the chance to not take him, do not take him! All of the grades come from test. He likes you to read the book. I have never had a worse teacher in my life.
This guy is pretty terrible when it comes to everything. His lectures barely cover the information and he expects you to do an outline of 50+ pages in like 3 days. He also claims that in order to pass you must study for an hour after his class to make sure that you understand the material as if he is the only teacher on campus. DO NOT take class
He's really tough but he was definitely my favorite professor! I loved the way he explained things and if you participate he'll love you. The thing that helped me the most is I took notes and followed along and highlighted in the book at the same time during lectures.
Grade based on 6 exams that are all santron multiple choice. Good notes and extensive reading of very long chapters are necessary to do good. He lectures the entire class.
Grade is based off of 6 tests throughout the semester with no other opportunity to get your grade up and no final. Tests are hard but all multiple choice. The entire class is lecture based but usually lets out early.
Took I/O - this course requires attendance, reading, taking notes and studying. If you are not looking to put in any effort, do not take this class or this professor. If you are a serious student, this is a good class. I came away learning a lot of information that will carry forward with me.
Overall a difficult personality & can appear condescending at times. I honestly think he means well, but may be a bit removed (age wise) from his current audience. Reminded me of my army grandpa with some outdated ideas. Clear syllabus and grading. BORING lectures at times, but he covered more material than other intro instructors.
Didn't pass the class! Test were extremely hard wrote his own book and none of it makes sense. Was rude to classmates and wasn't easy going if you missed it! Made Psych awful for me!
This teacher is terrible!!!! do not take him
He is an awful professor! do not take him the only thing you are graded on is his tests and they are so hard. you can study for hours by reading the text book (that he wrote) and looking at your notes and you still won't pass!
You gave to study extreamly hard in thus class, harder than most other classes, tons of reading. Can be condescending and constantly brings up his opinion on gender politics that nobody asked about in the middle of lecture to tell us how he thinks women are worse at X because Y then acts amused when students are upset by it. Would never take again.
Terrible
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! His opinion is the only thing that matters. In class he barely even go over everything in the text book but about 4-5 definitions, when there is over 100 to remember. I studied everyday for his test and never once I have passed. This has never happen to me before! psy overall isn't hard, but he'll make you think it is.
