Nice class!!!

Take her. She is one of the best teachers whose not much in the Baruch collage. She is about to teach and make u to know the subject rather than to make u to fail the course. Her exams/quizzes are strait foreword , one final paper and one chapter presentation. TAKE HER!!!

This lady is off the walls, GREAT professor though. Had her back to back for Stress Management and Interview techniques. A great discussion always happened and it was forced. Easy class if you show up. Textbook not needed her slides are all you need, takes notes

Most straightforward professor, no games. Tells you what is going to be on the test, the rest is on you.. pure memorization. Don't be scared at first, you'll be fine. 3 Tests and 1 Final 10 page research paper. If you put in the work and study you will get an A. Do not take this professor if you don't like pure memorization word for word stuff.

Unfortunately all 3 tests were in short answer essay form which makes you take notes because she tests you on the lectures. On the flip side she is very clear on what is expected . This professor's lectures are really great!

Professor's lectures are fun but she is very strict with attendance and deadlines. So go to class and submit anything that has to do with the research project on time . She was fun and clear on anything . You do have to study but I have taken harder classes . Professors expectations were reasonable .

do not take Developmental with her if you want a very easy A. She is super clear on what is expected and her lectures are great!!!!! but you have to do the work. She will tell you what is on the test but then again, the tests are all essay and short answer. I think she is the best but NOT easy.

Honestly she's one of the best professors I've ever had. Who ever says her class is hard they're a joke. She's super clear, super fair and overall just an amazing wonderful professor. Probably the only class I enjoyed going to. Test questions are given before so you have time to prepare and those who fail her are just lazy. Love her!!!

Great lectures . She is clear and tells u a study guide at the same time you have to memorize all the things on that list because the 3 tests are short answers. I also spent a lot of time on the research paper but she gave us a guide how to write abstract and stuff. The lectures were very good.

It's a hard class partly because tests are not multiple choice and there is a research paper with a strict format . The lectures are very good so it's worth it but it was one of my hardest psychology classes.

Professor V is amazing. She may seem very tough on the first of the class but remain in her class and you will do extremely well. Highly recommended.

Dr. Varkyoni is absolutely amazing! She gives clear grading criteria and repeats herself over and over again to make sure that everyone is on the same page. In the beginning, you might feel that she's tough, but trust me she is such a amazing professor. Three exams, one research paper, and a presentation. Take this class, you will ace it.

Professor is amazing. She literally gives you the answers for her exams, all you have to do is study those. There's a final paper along with a proposal but if you pick a topic that you're really into, you'll be fine and she's open to any topic.

Dr.v is great because she is extremely clear. You have to memorize a lot for her 3 exams but she tells you the 20+ questions some longer some shorter. The research work is about 12 pages long but she helps you. Very good lectures

Nonetheless Dr.O is extremely clear because she lectures on everything that is on the test. you have to study but she gives you all the questions and answers to study. she also gives you examples for the research paper. very entertaining lectures. have to study tho

Dr. V makes it super easy for students. She gives 20 questions and answers for every exam (There are 3) and from that 20, only 10 will be on the tests. All you gotta do it memorize short answers. Research paper outlines are clear. If you simply follow it, you will get an A. She is an easy grader. And she is super funny. Loved her class.

Professor was very straight forward because she tells you what to study at the same time some of the essay questions were longer so you have to prepare . DrV explains everything so there is zero ambiguity. Very strict with deadlines !

Teacher makes all classes fun and exciting. Lots of laughter. She is a pyschologist her self and knows what shes talking about. Youll learn a lot from this class thats applicable to your life. Study well on what shes gives you. Dont stress, just study what she says and youll do great: A+ on her tests. Get her class before other students do!

The class is a lot of work. Clear on things with the 3 tests 3 all easy tests you have to study for days to pass just one test. I liked the no tricks part and lecurrs were good . If you have the time to put in the work take if not take an easier class

Professor shared all homework and research assignments right when the semester started so I was able to do whwnwr as long as it was submitted by due dates . The grading was next day and prof. Was available if I had a questions . Yes it was a lot of work so if you want easy a not good for u. As long as you do work on time you should be fine.

Yes, it is a LOT of work but Dr. V is completely transparent with EVERYTHING! She tells you exactly what you need to know for the tests, and how the research paper & proposals must be written. She is always available to guide you and help you out. If you dont mind doing a lot of reading and writing then take her!

soooooooooooooo fun study a lot she legit tells you what to study and super helpful with paper lady has rubric for everything so you dont get a mistery grade here

you gotta study a ton she aint joking in the beginning of the semester if you do whats asked you get a good grade and do not miss the asisgnemts bceause you get a zero on them and study the 20 concepts for the test otherwise she is nice

Words are noy enough to describe professior V. So inspirational and friendly with the students. She has a clear outline for the whole semester. She gives you 17-20 questions for the exam and 10 comes from them. She even gives the answer so you know what is exactly coming in the exam. She is a GPA booster. Best professor i got in Baruch.

I agree drvarkonyii is available to students but the class I took was incredibly learning intensive Its all easy questions and you have to study because you have to retain at least 20 long answers She tells u what to study and there is also a 12 page research paper but she gives you guidelines . Gives very little credit for attendance which should be changed to higher but I found adult dev to be very easy maybe cuz the material is very easy She also types up everything she talks about and doesnt test on things she doesnt go over also dont buy the book

Professor was cool. Read her notes and slides w additional notes and participle on blackboard and you have nothing to worry about. I normally get cs and bs and this was a doable A The only thing is if you turn your stuff in late she gives you no points so watch out for that

Professor Varkonyi is an amazing woman. She is very understanding and kind to all her students. She teaches well and she is clear when it comes to her expectations. She cares a lot about her students and she is one of the professors that you will remember forever. 10/10 take her!

One 8 page paper and 2 Exams based on the pdf she post online (like the answers has to be almost exact). Overall, Dr. V teaches the subject well and genuinely cares about her students.

Easy class, shared the assignments back when the semester started ! The essay quizzes were intimidating at first but she grades light

TErm paper was annoying but the guides were clear other than that the 3 exams were super easy also there was a nice curve at the Edna

Do not buy the text she posts because the older edition was just as fine and there was enough to compelte all of the homeworks and the research ones you look up from the databases. Took her for the other section childH in person that was easier and more interactive . This if you start working on the assigned homeworks you will get and A. Only two tests in this one and they weigh very little like 20 points and 10.

professor was caring and available during office hours to discuss progess and also was helping with the reserach paper. the exams were mostly essay but also had some short answer questions. she gave a good guide for the essay and term paper.

Be prepared to do a lot of writing but the rubrics are clear follow that you will be fine -lectures are great!

Took Dr. V. for dev and stats I say dev was way easier because the tests were both MC and fill in (easy) and term paper. Stats you have weekly HW but she goes over the problems. Overall helpful and not hard to get A or Bs

Dr. Varkonyi is legit awesome! She helps with how to put the required research paper together which was daunting at first- if you go and talk to her after class or office hours she helps even more. Dr. Varkonyi was very down to earth kind and caring. The essay exams are hard but she gives a guide! Study that and you will ace!

DR. varko is truly an amazing professor. She has pretty strict rules, but if you follow rubrics u R good. Follow her exam prep guide also/ extensive. Her humor in her lectures actually made me excited to come to class. You can tell DR. v enjoys what she teaches. She doesn't share her lectures, so you'll have to come to class and take notes.

Dr.O great professor. had her for PSY 3059 n 60. she is great. lectures are heavy, but exams are exactly what is in the notes. she gives a lot of extra credit opportunities if you go to class. she is funny and makes lectures fun to go to and engage in. overall would take her other class!

Professor varkonyi is one of the best professors I've taken at Baruch. She is very caring for her students and makes sure nobody is left behind. You can tell dr. V is passionate for this subject with the care she puts into his lectures. This class does have some group work and it may be unusual because it requires you to think outside the box!

Dr.O great for research methods we had 4 exams 2 mc and 2 short answer ones. Professor was fast with responding to questions and explained what we missed on test. DrVv lectures were also cool she jokes and approachable

doctor veee was great because she went over the essay questions or the potential ones that we have to self-create and there was no mystery about the exams the two exams. the term paper was hard but she gave good feedback on the draft so if you follow you are gold. she is also engaging

She hands down the best for clinical sup / gives sooooooo much feedback where she has you read outside sources that btw you can totally use for key assignment. Cool lectures too only thing is you have to read the two books because she asks you about it during classes

Dr. Varkonyi is a great professor who makes her lectures engaging. While the workload can be heavy, following her guidance and using resources like Unstuckstudy for study prep makes the class manageable. Definitely take her again if you can!
