Took her Creative Thinking Online course. WAY more work than an actual sit-in course. TERRIBLE. No consideration for people's ACTUAL field of study, I think there's a complex with online classes.

This course made me unhappy, full of stress and anxiety, too much assignment, I never ever took this course AGAIN!

You have tons of things to do every week. But wait a second!!!! you don't know if those works of yours are even gonna be graded. That means- U did mini experiment, 500 words assignment, 250 words assignment.. But, you aren't sure whether all of these are gonna be graded. I wish i never had taken her. The worst teacher I've ever had! Tbh I'm not a lazy student (I got 4.0 in all previous semesters) but was so stressed in her class. A LOT OF homework every week. She won't grade for all your work but will grade the worst you did or you didn't do, you will get zero often. Her critics for project group wasn't clear. Gave grade based on her feeling.

Not a moment that I don't regret taking a subject with her. Unclear on which week is important. You write assignments every week but she randomly selects the week for which she will give you a grade. I missed one week's assignment and she marked me for that assignment although I told her the reason too. She does what she feels like doing.

do not take her. please do not take her. she doesnt help and she will give you a bad grade after working hard. she gets very happy to make your life hard. she does. she will not give you feel back after quiz so you can fix your mistakes for the next quiz. she wont help you even if you reach out and ask for help.

All I gotta say is her 5% quizzes are 44 questions...

1 hr quiz with 44 question which 2 of them were matching and each matching questions had 8 to complete. how can anyone complete that long of a quiz and its only worth 5% she would be so happy to make everyone stress and depressed at this time of pandemic. i cry and cry to sleep many nights... please do not take her, if you want to be happy

I always had good grades in all my semester 3.9 GPA and this class made my GPA go down. She gave me horrible marks in everything. This course made me so depressed

She doesnt respond well to emails. She grades like she doesnt care. Her feedback is terrible! Just puts in in heavy words and does not explain assignments well. Clearly she just puts things there for someone to figure out like they are in a PHD class!! How awful!

This professor is really very horrible one. I havent seen professor of this sort before. She think she blindly mark things. She is very touch at grading. She barely explain anything.

I wanted to take a Psychology course because I love the subject, but this professor ruined it for me. The content was super interesting but when it came to written assignments and weekly activities, this prof was such a tough and selective grader. I'm an A average student, and I was getting a D in her class. I was able to bring it up to barely a C

The teacher expects too much from students and is a tough grader for no reason. Don't expect to get an A, I find it impossible. I'm reading the book, going through all the materials, making notes and I can't get beyond B. Same with some of my friends that took his class before. Don't expect announcements a few days before the test or other work.

she was the only professor that graded people so hard, work was not check just graded based on her mood. wouldn't read a thing you write. just grad you like that and write feedback thats not even true.

it is an asynchronous course but I expected some form of excercises or something to stimulate us in this course instead she tells you to buy an expensive book. read the book and the questions in the test barely cover the content that is discussed in the book instead she brings up some wierd situtaions to apply the content in the book. worst course

There's is no correlation to the textbook and the actual course projects, they're basically just product design projects. Probably the worst prof I've ever had, she is very vague assigning work, and very vague when giving feedback. Made us redo a project on reading week, doesn't seem to care about her students.

She doesn't provide good feedback or even let you see your mistakes on your quiz, I mean I understand not showing test papers. but if you don't see what mistake you made how are you going to learn from it? would not recommend her for any of her courses

Unfair in grading, followed all the feedback I was given and I know my papers are worth more than a 60% Would literally rather do anything than being put in a class with this prof ever again.

The teacher do not understand students. She wants the PHd standard work from a certificate student. Never expect A/B from her. very rigid and power shower. I will never her course and I definitely not recommending. I wish I saw her rating and comments before choosing this course. She totally destroyed by overall result.

This professor has not given clear lectures and does not upload content to refer back to throughout the course. Had a paper that had to relate to course context for grades yet there was no course context to refer back to or refresh my memory. Would not recommend this professor to anyone that would want to succeed in their career.

Course was asynchronous & that's ok, but this professor, didnt even put an effort into making a lecture video to upload for the class, every week its "read chapter", "watch this ted talk". then this professor have the audacity to give low marks. I really wish I could drop this class, the professor is one of the most difficult people I have ever encountered in my life. She says things like because I said so, because that's what I want, because I prefer this, and make you redo things even tho it 100% follows the rubric, I will be reporting her to the dean, please do not take this course

If you're taking this just for the credit, just take something else. It's not worth the frustration!!! Just a product development course with no real ties to the textbook material. Forced group project, and you can never truly tell what she wants when grading. Skip.

This was the worst professor I've ever had in my life. She has students read a book but doesn't post any comments or lectures about it. She's contradictory in her instructions, and her assignments don't fit the course material. She takes too long to reply to e-mails, and disregards students' issues. Stay far away from this professor.

Instructions are NEVER CLEAR. she will tell you to write an essay about points 1, 2 & 3 and then complain that the main point of the assignment was point 3 without explaining that in the instructions. her marking is never accurate idk if English is her first language but she had a lot of issues understanding common sentences that other profs didnt.

throughout my college years ive never rated a professor negatively until now. my GPA is at a 3.7. I average As lowest Bs in all my courses except this one. I never fully understood what I was doing in this class, I was at a 50% for majority of the course, the midterm was open book and I managed to fail with a 40% I don't think she marks accurately.

Absolutly stay away from this professor. She made us read 300 pages textbook for a compressed 7 weeks course. She does not even bother herself to make any PowerPoint slides or any other thing except reading 300 pages book. She is so rude and a terrible marker. I was in college for 3 years and never had this experience with my professors.

The exam time was suddenly changed right before the exam. 2:30 to 2:15. Otherwise, set the 120-minute test to 60 minutes. Extension requests are made individually by students. The reason is unknown. No official notice or apology. Responsibility for damage resulting from changes rests with the student. Worst teacher.

This professor has Absolutely zero evidence of any training teaching adults. Zero assistance, zero assistance available to students. Asked for help she suggests a tutor. If she is to continue to teach at least provide adequate and detailed course outline to assist students to be set up for success.

Dont ever choose her as your professor. in Seneca. She is not a good professor as you think. She is a tough grader ( give you a 75 questions but just only 60 minutes, and questions are really hard) She teach about happiness but she give you a depress instead. I have to see a psychologist after learning her.

DO NOT TAKE! Class said Synchronous and Asynchronous, ended up being only Asynchronous and Synchronous during tests (with use of Lockdown browser). Total of 4 tests and 1 written assignment (all 15% or more). All your learning was from weekly textbook readings. Tests were all about detailed content from the textbook.

Take this course if you want to fail it. The worst professor ever.

She didn't make any lecture , she wasn't present at any of our class hours and most important of all she makes too many question in test with a very limited time, almost impossible to read the question and have time to think and select. What is the worst thing is the fact that she rates very low, wouldn't recommend her.

Less than a min to answer questions on a test. No lecture notes. No discussion boards. No learning. I can read a book on my own. I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars for that. Worst prof ever.

Never had this much anxiety in my entire time here. Was spending more time and stress on this course than my actual program courses. Please drop and get a refund as soon as you can.

Psychology of Depression

Not accommodating to students with learning disabilities. A gen ed course but expects people to take this course more seriously than your own program. Was online so doesn't really teach, had to watch videos and read a crazy amount of pages per week. One test was 1 question per minute and there was around 100 questions.

The test of this professor is impossible even the smartest students cannot finish the exam. 105 items for 50 minutes, and the coverage is the whole book which you will need to prioritize the course more than your majors. Do not take his course.

I took the course thinking that it couldn't be as bad as people were making it out to be, its the Psychology of Happiness after all. WRONG! I had so much anxiety from this course I spoke to the Seneca therapist. Psychology of Sadness!

Teaches absolutely nothing; the course I took was asynchronous, so it is expected that not a ton of teaching can be done. However, with the weekly coursework provided, absolutely no work related to any of the tests is given. Open book is not allowed and it is extremely difficult to complete any tests with a score over 60 because of the difficulty.

If you could, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE WITH THIS PROFESSOR. I took psychology of happiness and I loved that course. That is why I took this course but the test/exams are so hard since it is very detailed and this course was very difficult overall. Do not recommend to anyone.

Left no instruction, tried to reach out several times for assistance, he refused to meet or advise in anyway. Had zero class content, or information about the class posted to learn from.

Zero guidance, no course material, get the textbook on loan to learn on your own if you're interested in the course

Does not provide any powerpoint presentation and recorded discussion , just assigned a textbook and all of her exams rely mainly on that textbook. And she run everything through AI checker.

-Only accepts answers from textbook, personal experience or outside knowledge counts as cheating -Very specific questions that most people wouldn't remember -Short amount of time and a lot of questions to answer in tests (Ex. 65 questions in 45 minutes) -Felt more like a major than an elective Highly recommend avoiding this class for your own good

Focus on text book and personal experience or reflection of learning is not assessed. To make it even harder, professor expects to memorise teeny- tiny details from textbook and all the researches/data discussed.The MCQ's are like locating information from comprehension without text available(use memory). It is grading memory not learning outcome.

idk if he's a teacher. he is not posting weekly content, he just posted the textbook we should use and he is just telling us "read chapter 9, read chapter 10" likee??? and exams are hard AF. he is also asking specific questions. he is expecting us to write a long looooong essay - all information should be at the book only.

This is a general course, but we were assessed as if we were trained psychologists. The test wording was extremely difficult, even for native speakers. The professor also changed the midterm from written to oral, adding stress. Overall, it was a bad experience.
