He's fantastic! Online class created issues w/ lectures(organisation, tech issues, group work...)but these are things all professors seem to have issues w/. If you're looking for a super experienced INSTRUCTOR, he may not be the one for you. If you prefer casual learning with a kind, rly interesting, & experienced marketer, he'll be a huge benefit!

Otniel Nick Manzat- class is calm and a great atmosphere to learn. The course flowed and I think the course would have been even better on.

He's super fun! He uses stories and real experiences to help you understand the content! He is very clear and straightforward when it comes to understanding when things are due, and how to do certain assignments! I have taken many classes with him and enjoyed every one!

Otniel is a great professor. He cared about his students and was always making sure everyone was caught up with the lectures. My group ended up not doing a lot of work, but Otniel was aware of the situation and made sure that I at least got a good grade since I was doing almost everything.

I would have appreciated clarity in assignment requirements when they are 1st posted. 1 project changed after I had already started and caused me to do double the work.

I've taken two classes from him so far, I really enjoy his teaching style and class outlines. His classes are very lecture and group work centered. It's clear he cares for his students' learning, and you can tell he is experienced in the field, and gives valuable insight.

Professor Manzat is passionate and knowledgeable about digital marketing. Professor Manzat runs his own ecommerce business and always relates concepts in class to his business which helped provide real-life examples. I'd highly recommend taking this professor! Some lectures are somewhat redundant but overall great course work.

This course was very lecture heavy but the professor's way of explaining the content made it easy to relate to and listen to. I've been in classes that just put me to sleep but this class wasn't one of those.

This is a pretty straightforward class, but you must attend every class day because the lectures in class are critical to understanding the concepts of this course.

Professor Otniel Nick Manzat is a dedicated educator as well as a Compassionate man. I can think of nothing to critique on him except that he does move a little fast through PowerPoint slides while going over material, but that is understandable because there is so much to cover in little time.

Not mandatory lectures but very engaging and notes are not posted but directly coincide with final "exam" (easy if you pay attention, especially to kahoot). homework is group project-based or focuses on gaining certifications for various social media platforms. super well-versed, wide range of knowledge and makes awesome cotton candy!!

Nick Manzat has a lot of real world experience which made his Social Media class 5x more interesting.

He is very reasonable and understanding. I enjoy how thorough his lectures are, and he gives a lot of different examples for better understanding. There is one big group project and one final exam. Homework is typically one big-ish assignment a week. I look forward to taking more of his classes!

I have been in Bellevue College's marketing program since Fall of 2022 and this was (sadly) my first time to have Nick as a prof. Nick has to be one of my favorite profs. He is not only a great lecturer, but his personal experience with the field of marketing and his being more than willing to tell us his experience in the field is very valuable.

This Professor provided a relaxing learning environment and an easy to follow course. Class lectures covered material concisely while still utilizing the full class time. The work expected from students was fair, with limited external work.

He really knows what he is doing. Very meticulous in homework grading, and can take points for small things. He will not give you an easy A. But his lectures are interesting, and he can provide a lot of insides on how things actually work. Absolutely worth it if you are coming for the experience.

This is my second class from this professor. I would absolutely take another class from him. He goes over assignments and explains them really well. Grading is very fair and he offers really good feedback. I don't feel like course work is too hard or too much, but he has a strict late work policy with a one time exception for each student.

His class was not overwhelming, and felt comfortable. I've taken both his online and in-person classes. It seemed like he encouraged more discussion in the online setting than in person. He also organizes additional resources outside of the class materials, which helped me a lot in keeping up with the course. I would take his class again.

Good interactive lectures. I was worried about the final because we didn't have any quizzes throughout the quarter, but he did a good study prep before the final. I liked the group project because each of the projects led up to the comprehensive final project.
