to much homework given within a week
i really like the professor of teaching as he explains really well, and takes his time making sure we learned the topics
He lectures a good amount but his accent sometimes is strong and I'm unable to understand him. So I just proceeded to do the various amount of homework he assigned us to. The homework is not hard, but man, it's tedious. Although the homework is long, I'd say that the homework does a much better way of explaining the material than the teacher. idk.
Professor Ayeni has a bit of a strong accent, but you'll get used to it within a few weeks. We do most of our work on the ALEKS textbook, which I found very helpful for learning and retaining class material. Professor Ayeni also gives in class lectures to introduce new material, which were clear to me and he walks through examples.
He explains the topic very well and does many examples. If you participate in class you will do very well on the exams and quizzes.
His in class lectures introduce new topics, and he clearly explains the topics. I'd just recommend taking notes. He's a good guy and as long as you do your homework the class isn't a struggle. I liked him a lot and would take more courses taught by him.
This class is mainly taught through ALEKS, but he is very good about explaining the topics and making sure that no one is left behind in class.
The course is basically just doing ALEKS math programs, but the professor is very kind and always answers questions.
This was one of my only math professors who has show actual concern about my grade in their class. He cares for each of his student's success. He prefers when his students show up to class ready to learn and with questions at hand.
He really takes his time to make sure we understand the materials he teaches.
Always study if you want to keep up with the class.
Professor Ayeni does his best to insure all students understands, and constantly asks questions to make sure we're up to par. His class is designed to succeed, its up to you if you want to.
Keep up with the class if you want to pass
lots of homework. basically an online class that you have to show up for
Super chill and helpful Professor.
Super chill and helpful Professor. I would recommend for MATH11000.
Take notes and go to class.
He is a wonderful teacher and wishes for everyone to participate in class. He communicates extremely well and answers all possible questions, overall, he is one of the best teachers I have had.
He wishes for his students to participate in class, so try your best to do so. He wants to make sure everyone understands the material and will take his time to make sure everyone does, overall, he is one of the best.
You need to come to class or be on Alex religiously to do good.
I liked the way the class was set up. However the instructor can be very confusing in the way he expands on how to solve problems. This is because of the terms he uses how fast he speaks and the way he repeats things that are incorrect. I personally had a really difficult time trying to follow his steps as he would solve things.
not too much homework, he actually cares about how you are doing.
Slight accent barrier at first, but not a problem once you're used to it. Nice guy, willing to help. Overall easy if you put the effort in.
Ayeni's class structure and expectations were pretty straightforward. Half of class time was lecturing, the rest was time to work on Aleks. His lectures were clear and helpful, but sometimes I felt like there wasn't enough independent work time in class. Aleks is important to stay on track, but overall a pretty easy class.
Very good professor, understands and explains material well.
Great Prof. I didn't pass my last math class because the undergrad who taught was opposite of this course, professor Ayeni was very helpful and explained things thoroughly (not a crazy amount of work too) I would recommend 100%
If you're willing to put work in, this class is not hard, but was a lot of work for me. Go to class, take notes and quizzes and exams will be easy. Prof. Ayeni cares a lot and wants his students to do well. He is always happy to answer any questions. I really appreciated him and would highly recommend taking a class with him.
It was my first year at IUPUI, he made me feel welcomed. Very good teacher and gives good feedback. Approachable guy, loved the class.
Professor Ayeni is extremely caring when it comes to students passing classes. He works hard to ensure you understand the material.
really good math teacher. he is super approachable and his presentation of the material has definitely has helped with my passing of the class. he is very nice and worked with my educational accommodations without any issue or reminding! honestly great experience. I will be checking to see if he teaches the next math class I have to take.
Well respected professor. He's good at what he does, highly recommend to take this class.
I had a really good experience with this class and this professor. I'm very bad at math and I'm ending the class with a B. I think the layout and style of homework and quizes helps students do well. He does have an accent which is an adjustment but you'll understand easy in a week.
I was not good at math before, but now I have an A+ from this class. He explains the materials good and if you have questions afterwards, hr explains again and he does not make you feel bas about asking questions. If you pay attention to his lectures and do your work on ALEX, you'll have an A in this class.
Make sure you attend the lectures and do the homework. It is very important to the course structure.
I really recommend professor Ayeni because he is a person who truly cares about his students and teaches the material very well.
Great professor who obviously cares about his students' success. Answered questions in a way you can understand, provided one on one help when needed, and was invested in the learning experience. All in all 5 star review from me.
His teaching style was very learnable and if you had troubles you could ask for help and receive it. Went over the materials clearly.
This professor was very helpful when it came to questions and helping when you don't understand the question being asked.
Great guy! Ask questions because he genuinely wants to help!
He was very well liked by all the students. Explained aspects in multiple ways to make sure all students understood the content. Overall I enjoyed his class.
Ayeni's teaching style is great. I took the same class last semester and struggled a lot to understand the material, but this semester professor Ayeni made it much easier. He has a very good style of teaching that helps you understand one way or another.
I am not a fan of math but he made it look easy to understand and very helpful
Explains material in a way that prepares students for the homework and quizzes.
my professor was a good teacher and i liked his class and learned a lot
Professor Ayeni makes sure you understand what he is teaching.
Prof Ayeni is a really good prof who cares about his students and he wants you to succeed. Definitely recommend and he is way better than my last prof for this class.
Ayeni is a very good professor. He is very helpful and does his best to speak with every student. You may struggle at first understanding his accent but after awhile you will be perfectly fine.
Good
Ayeni provided great care when teaching, he allowed time for his students to ask questions and get help during class. I will say that this course is not very engaging but that might be biased, other than that lecture always provided a safe space for students to do homework. Make sure to give yourself some time to get homework done.
Really nice make sure to attend class in order to better understand, great teacher really helpful!
Great professor helped out a ton when confused.
Amazing!
He was a very good math professor. I like how he encourages students to participate in class. He also teaches the lectures quite well.
He is very caring and lets all the students understand the lecture by asking questions, and working on similar questions so the students can understand. Overall a very good teacher and I would like for him to be my teacher once again.
Professor Ayeni is a very good Algebra professor! He is very kind and easy to communicate with as well. One thing I liked was that he would encourage the class to ask questions and participate, unlike some professors at iui.
Ayeni is a great teacher and is always willing to go over more examples if questions arise.
Very caring for the students
I had to take this class again because the first time the proffesor wasnt the best; but with Proffessor Ayeni he is a great teacher and takes his time to make sure you understand the material.
He is not one of those boring lectures who just drones on and on. He is all about engaging his students and making sure everyone actually understands what's going on.
He is a great professor and he breaks down work to a T pretty much. Being in this class, make sure you show up every class because everything he says in his lectures matter. EVERYTHING! And mostly everything is done online. Exams are on paper.
The professor was a good instructor and he knows his stuff. The only issue I had was that it was a bit hard to understand him at times due to his accent.
Prof. Ayeni is a great instructor who clearly cares about his students. He always brings good energy into the classroom and has cultivated an environment that motivated me to do well in his class, and that means a lot considering math is by far my least favorite subject.
I really enjoyed Professors Ayeni's class. It was a little lecture heavy which was a little brutal for me personally but he gave in class time to work through homework and ask questions if needed. The homework is lengthy but the in class homework time helps tremendously. He does give a lot of resources to succeed so failing is difficult.
Really liked this professor I was worried I wouldn't do well in the course but he was a good professor.
He would go over examples of the work to help you prepare for the quizzes and exams each week.
Professor Ayeni was a very good lecturer and actually made the math very easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this class as a freshman.
This professor taught well. He responds to questions immediately.
Professor Ayeni's way of teaching is very clear. He makes sure that the materials are understood well, and If not he takes the time to explain it more in depth for whoever needs it. Great math professor.
Super chill guy, just do your work and participate and he will do everything in his power to help you get the grade you need.
He can be confusing and unclear he mentioned in the beginning of the year that attendence won't count towards a grade and doesn't have it for anything in the grade book but at the end of the year he created a grade for your attendance and I don't think much people got good points on that since the directions weren't clear.
Professor Ayeni's class can be challenging, but he's a great teacher who breaks down concepts well. Using unstuckstudy ai and the free textbook helped me stay on top of the material. Attendance is a must for success.
This teacher explains the concept very well and is very knowledgeable.
Does a great job explaining the course work and going over problems you may be struggling with. He goes at a good pace and is more than willing to slow down or speed up his teaching if necessary. Overall he's a good teacher!
This class wasn't too difficult for me, the only frustrating part was the Pearson assignments.
Good professor and generally easy course. He also shows a bunch of different ways to do different problems, would take again!
The professor was very organized with his lectures. Making it easy to understand. He make sure his students understand the lessons and offers good feedback when it comes to quizzes and exams grade. As well as stopping during each chapter to make sure everyone is understanding the material.
There's lots of online Pearson assignments but they generally don't take long. He uses multiple examples during class to explain the content.
Proffer Ayeni is very organized in his lectures and make sure his students understand and stops regularly to ask his students if they understand the material. As well as giving different way to solve a problem to make it easier for his students to get good grades.
Professor Ayeni is a great professor. The class is fun overall and I hope I will be able to take another class with him.
His teaching methods were very helpful to me. I found it easy to follow along and learn the topics he was presenting in class.
Something Ayeni does that I haven't seen any teacher do before is plan each lesson for the entire semester in a document which is accessible day one. He does move on quickly throughout the lecture but if you ask to go back or for help, he will gladly do so. You will have to print your own class notes before class and its a lot of notes.
As long as you do the online homework and practice exams you'll do well.
Good professor all around
For me, this class was difficult. I understand that you must put in the work to get results. I had to teach everything to myself because 1) Class was filled with a ton & all rushed. Not the teachers fault, but too much info at once. & 2) Teacher's thick accent was kind of a language barrier. Overall 6/10. Once you learn everything urself.
Overall great teacher, just a lot of homework that can be very difficult at times.
Professor is a great teacher, a lot of online homework , no study guides , YouTube and recording his lectures on my phone helped, overall fair.
If you have to take Algebra I suggest you try and take his class. He is a great teacher and really tries to make sure you understand the information he is teaching to you.
Good, friendly professor- a bit hard to understand but knows what he's talking about. I wish there wasn't as much homework or exams as there is, it's a bit hard to keep up with it all. There's a lot of homework for each section which is just sort of annoying.
Overall, I think that Ayeni is a good professor. I gave him the rating I did because I felt like he was not personable and talked to you, not with you. I would take this class again if I had to and have him again, but I like when teachers/professors talk to you more.
I think prof. Ayeni is a good teacher, he cares about what he teaches and wants everyone else to understand as well. He listens to feedback and adjusts the class as needed, does care about participation in the sense that what he is teaching makes sense to everyone.
The class was pretty simple. Participation matters for sure, and to be present in class. Gives a clear-cut path to getting a good grade as long as you put in the work on your own.
Professor Ayeni is the best! He genuinely cares for teaching and wants to make sure everyone understands! He's also hilarious! He does have an accent, but it is not at all hard to understand!
Professor Ayeni is by far the best professor I've ever had for math. He cares so much about his students' success and will give you help if you need it. I personally did not do well because of the unreasonable amount of coursework that the department requires, but if you want to have a good math career, then Professor Ayeni is the best choice. :)
I've never been particularly good at math and have struggled with numbers my whole life. However, Professor Ayeni has been nothing short of amazing. He genuinely cares about his students and has a true passion for teaching. He is respectful and compassionate. I had to miss several classes due to my job, and he was incredibly understanding. 10/10.
This professor is caring towards all students. He wants to help the students pass and that's why we do class participation worksheets. We get to do work on problems together on math problems. I like that my professor lists a lot of resources to help us in exams, going to office hours and working on reviews together.
He has a very simple and straightforward way of teaching things, attendance is not necessary, but it does help being there in-person, and there are quite a few assignments however they're all manageable since he gives you enough time to complete them. Almost all the things we review together in class are in the exams so they're not too difficult.
This Professor was great, he knew what he was talking about and taught it well. Don't let my low grade fool you. He does give a lot of assignments but he gives them with a far due date so there is time to get them done. Also good amounts of in class quizzes. So it isn't just exams.
The class isn't necessarily hard and the professor explains things well. The only thing I would complain about is the workload. There are many assignments and mini quizzes for each unit and sometimes it does take awhile to do them. I hope that the professor is more understanding about the amount of work we have to do outside of class.
Lots of notes, which is fine but it's very easy to lose the point of what he is saying. His teaching style just wasn't very helpful for me. I got notes from someone in a different class which is why I passed.
- great professor, he loves to teach so he can teach well
Class was overall easy as long as you pay attention and do the online homework.
I enjoyed my professor as he was committed to his work and wanted the best for his students.
I feel as though you can't really understand him on certain lessons he teaches ,so u have to recited him taking to register a listen to understand.
I feel as though you can't really understand him because of his accent that he has. Also, I feel like he he was overall a great teacher, I just couldn't really understand him in class at times.
An easy professor, if you show up, then you should get an A.
Be ready to get called on in front of the whole class
Mr. Ayeni discusses the material with a set of problems that he does in class and are on the projector. Problems are done in class. Besides that, he also sometimes puts people into groups and each group does a select problem together. Mr. Ayeni does a good job explaining everything and shows that he knows what he is talking about.
He is a good professor but I had a hard time understanding him.
Professor Ayeni clearly demonstrates and explains topics, repeats important information to ensure students understand, and thoroughly answers questions. He asks students about their preference for learning styles and accommodates them very well. He encourages participating in class, which is very helpful for understanding material.
That's he like to make sure everyone has it down before moving on he I like that !
He is a really nice professor. He cares about your success in the class and understanding the material. The assignment can also be hard, but overall is a really great professor.
I really liked my experience with this professor. He gives you a lot of resources that will help you on the quizzes and exams. He goes out of his way to make a study guide with questions similar to the exam for you to study. He is a really good professor overall
Professor Ayeni is a great professor who truly cares about his students. Going to class goes a long way in this class, but overall the content is fairly simple.
Teaching was very clear and easy to understand.
Great lectures that included a lot of example problems and working through notes together. He made things clear and always answered questions.
He is easy to work with and his lectures are super detailed. He goes in depth on each subject and shows you different ways to do things.
Great Teacher overall.
This is a very easy class but a lot of homework. Make sure to do good in the exams and in class quizzes. the good thing is that he drops one exam and 2 quizzes.
This is a easy class and just make sure to do your assignments.
Always asks if he is teaching at a good pace, open to questions and helping.
I want to tell other students that he is a great listener and will help you out and will make sure you understand the topic.
An excellent professor with a lot to offer, but a bit more flexibility with due dates would enhance the learning experience.
I would like other to know that he is caring and will listen to your issues also will make sure you understand the topic .
Understands you alot
Good guy if you show up.
This class wasn't hard and the work wasn't horrible. Professor Oyedotun is nice and helpful.
Great professor, presents good material just a little fast paced.
Highly Recommend taking his classes!
Mr. Ayeni is very nice and also is super funny in class. He explains things well and class is more fun when people participate. Overall, the class is fairly easy and he goes out of his way to remind you of assignments and due dates.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Ayeni to other students because he was very helpful during lectures and would make the class a safe space. When questions were asked, he would always review them until we understood, and he always tried to guide us in the right direction. Overall, I enjoyed this class as well as the professor.
He teaches to understand but if you decide to not attend class the material will be harder but if u do the homework or practice before taking the quiz you will understand.
Overall a great professor.
He's a nice guy; he honestly means well and wants you to succeed. I thought he was pretty funny and he's understanding with his accent. He said on the first day that it might take a few classes to get used to it and it was not an issue for me at all.
He's a good teacher the material is just difficult.
Very caring and is willing to drop a couple of low grading quizzes to help raise your grade. Would highly recommend.
He is a wonderful professor that cares for his students. He is always there to help you if you need it.
i recommend you attend class to get easy points. this class honestly relies on your exams more than anything.
very nice and explains things very clearly
good professor
I have always really struggled with math, but I have succeeded in Ayeni's class with flying colors. He takes his time in class, makes sure to answer any and all questions patiently and kindly and keeps class as engaging as algebra can be. My complaints about his class are all about the math department. Ayeni does his best to negotiate with them tho
Professor Ayeni was effective in explaining the lectures. However, be prepared to dedicate significant time outside of class to complete the weekly homework and study for exams. It's important to stay on top of due dates and exam schedules.
Good course, not too good at math but gathered a better understanding this semester.
He's good at explaining
Very nice and always willing to help. sometimes the homework quizzes have a lot of homework. overall, the class was fairly easy as he explains things very well. He does go kind of fast at times because there is so much material to get through.
Good teacher, if you're an introvert, better start learning how to talk to people.
The professor is highly effective, with a clear and organized teaching style that makes complex material easy to understand. They explain concepts well, use helpful examples, and create an engaging learning environment.
His teaching is overall clear once you get used to his accent, though there is some trouble understanding what he is doing.
Don't miss a single lecture he covers about 2-3 units per class
Only flaw is he is hard to understand sometimes
I enjoyed the classes of his I have attended. I had to retake this class because my previous teacher sucked plain and simple and this was so much easier for me because of him. I 100% recommend his classes.
I don't enjoy math but this professor did a great job explaining the materials, makes sure everyone understands and actually puts in effort to make the class interesting. seems like he cares about his job; haven't been in a class like this in a while.
Does sometimes lecture pretty fast, but if you have the notes in front of you you can kind of work ahead.
Teacher is thoughtful, thorough and does whatever he can to make sure the students understand the course material.
The professor is very good and he will make sure you understand every material and if not, he encourages you to ask a lot of questions. He does class activities that really helps.
He's very straightforward, beginning class right on time each day and launching into the lecture. I feel like he is the first math professor I've had who seems to truly enjoy what he's teaching, and the energy wears off on me. He does include the occasional group work which I don't find helpful, but overall I think he's a great professor.
My Professor was fantastic! If you don't understand the material the first time he goes over it he makes sure that he takes his time to break things down for you.
He's pretty nice he expects a lot of group work from us, sometimes he'll talk fast but if you ask him to repeat he will. He has a strong accent but if you pay attention it's easy to understand.
I have always struggled with math, but being in his class either made me feel more confident or even understand a subject I couldn't grasp in high school or in general. Over all Professor Ayeni is a well rounded professor, wish I had him for my earlier math courses through out my education.
He's good. He will answer any question you have. The only thing is he can go through material pretty quick. Other than that it was a normal class, lectures with graded attendance, usually 2 chapters of homework each week and exams about every 3.
The professor is very professional. He explain the material in a way that is easy to understand and are always willing to help when student have questions. Other student should know that this professor is kind, patient, and really cares about student success. If you pay attention and ask question, you will learn a lot in this class.
He was a great professor, and really enjoyed his class!
Come prepared with questions. He greatly appreciates his students asking questions, so he knows that we understand, and we can succeed when it is time for the exam. He is also chill, so don't be hesitant to ask for help anytime. He provided all the material needed to do well in exams. He can rush at times, but just let him know. Otherwise enjoyed!
He goes over the material and encourages questions. Good professor. The class itself gets tougher as you go on, so make sure you go to class.
Good professor, easy class, and uses online textbooks and homework.
He is a good professor, would take another of his courses again.
He wants everyone to participate.
Professor Ayeni is the best math teacher! He clearly sets his expectations, and when you're putting in the effort and participating in class, he actually makes math fun. I've always struggled with math. He's available during office hours and consistently reminds us to use the MAC Center, which has been a huge help for me this semester.
Ayeni is a great professor and very friendly. But expect a ton of homework and group work.
This professor is very chill, he accepts late assignments and assignment load is not that bad. The ability to do the assignments are easy. And the test are kind of similar to the practice problems.
Oyedotun Ayeni was great, truly the only thing I would prefer diffrent would be the speed of which he gose but I do get that there is a lot to get through in the class, it is deffinetly managable just a lot all at once some weeks.
overall I really liked this guy. attendance is mandatory and the classes are just really long and lecture filled, but he tries to keep it interesting. i just found it boring because it was math lol. but he's a great guy to take a class with
Professor Ayeni was awesome. Homework and quizzes were given online through access pearson, every week there is a group activity to complete that helps sharpen your skills in what is being taught that week.
he coolllll
His class is really easy as long as you turn in assignments on time and attend attention during his reviews for the exams
He is very uplifting and wants to help you succeed.
Overall, material was covered very clearly.
I have nothing to say here
Just do your homework and you'll be fine.
Explains the material very well and forces in class participation which helps learning
He does very well explaining materials and forces in class participation which helps learning
He was cool. Just wish he gave extra credit.
The professor did his best to get us through the course. The course was pretty demanding in time and the testing parameters allowed for no lee way. He did his best to work with me and help.
He goes over the material well and reviews with you before exams. He makes sure you understand the material before moving on to the next lesson. Overall, easy going class.
You do get used to his accent and he is easy to understand. Not too fast and not too slow, if you need him to slow down he will.
Professor Ayeni cares very much about his students and wants them to be very successful. He lectures in an easy to understand way and encourages students to ask lots of questions.
Honestly I like my professor and he makes the class go very smooth for me allowing me to keep a good grade in his class.
This class was great. The professor was direct. Class attendance isn't required, but you must attend because the professor doesn't record lectures. The professor also did in-class test reviews, which helped a lot. Overall, this class was great and fun.
Good professor that will answer your questions
Great professor, had a good experience in this class!
Good professor but make sure you listen carefully and pay close attention of you will miss something.
Great Professor and an even better person.-Ebenezer Ogoh
I really enjoyed taking his class.
I have always struggled with math and I was nervous about taking math in college. But this professor made the material easy to understand and was clear when questions were asked. He also made sure the whole class understood a unit before moving on.
The professor communicated and kept our schedule fairly the same every week, which I appreciated. He answers questions and goes over things when asked he offers some extra credit for surveys.
Professor explains concepts clearly and uses a well-structured teaching style. They break down complex topics step by step and encourage questions, making the material easier to understand.
Explain things when needed and drops one exam.
This is a very amazing professor. I would highly recommend him. He knows how to teach very well. I like the respect that he gives his students. He is willing to answer any questions that you don't understand about the class.
This is an amazing professor. I highly recommend him. He teaches very well. I like that he shows his students respect. I like also that he is always willing to answer any questions about the class.
Less online work but good in person lecture
I think due to material that must be covered, he can't move slowly, but I think he does a good job at teaching and explaining. There are a few steps he may assume everyone knows while instructing, but not enough to panic about
Good professor and helpful with class work. He makes sure to check on students individually and provide help when needed. This professor is great if you are looking for a thorough teaching of math material. He goes over topics or even specific questions 2 or 3 times in different ways to give more examples of how it may look in homework or tests.
Professor Ayeni did a great job of offering many resources to help us succeed. He would post the lecture PDF for us to print, post many links to help us with exams, and offer review days.
Professor Ayeni clearly conveys material and will help any student who is having trouble understanding
Professor was very educated on material taught.
he teaches very well
Amazing Professor, he works well with students who have missed or do not understand—no complaints, very satisfactory.
cool teacher
He was super sweet and taught very great. He seemed super ambitious about teaching his students.
Professor Ayeni does a great job at teaching Algebra. I would gladly take another course from them.
He is great
He is understanding.
Notes are taken in class. If you pay attention and do the work on time you can pass.
Made sure the whole class understood the chapters and did group activities for practice
Very knowledgeable in the subject. If you like math, you definitely want Oyedotun Ayeni
Good teacher
He is willing to work things out with you regarding your grade or attendance in class. Pretty easy going and chill. Be prepared to work alongside peers at least once or twice every now and then.
With this class being in summer it was at an faster pace of 6 weeks of coursework as opposed to 16 weeks which was difficult at times, but Mr. Ayeni constantly was open to helping us at the end of any class or during office hours. Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone willing to put in an equal amount of work to learn the material.
Overall good professor, but sometimes he isn't very clear. Sometimes after we take a quizz a student could ask to go over a question and his response would be "it's in the notes" instead of just explaining the question.
This professor is a great teacher
The professor had a decent and engaging teaching style, though when conveying the material clearly there were many issues. I believe he could have spoken more clearly and slower when discussing the courses work.
I took this class already in high school so it was easy for me because I already knew the material, but with his teaching style I believe I would still like the class and be able to understand.
I took this class over the summer so we did things in 6 weeks rather than 16, but overall I think that if you took this class will be fine. c
Participation matters
The professor did a good job at making sure we understood the material before moving on, and made sure we asked questions if not.
You will definitely get what you put into out of his class. If you need help MAKE SURE TO CHECK THAT THEY ARE NOT ON THE NOTES.
If you need help, ask questions. The professor does a good job at explaining and going over notes if you don't understand.
He was fine, would take again
He's very humorous and can make learning math easy as long as you are engaged. His teaching style is simple but can be long at times and his ability to convey the material clearly is effective. Overall, he's definitely one of the better math teachers I've ever had and personally, one of my favorites!
I think the teaching was good i just didnt like how pearson is set up for the homework assignments.
Professor Ayeni is clear, helpful, and cares about his students. He explains material well, stays organized, and is always willing to help. Highly recommend.
I enjoyed this class.
At first his accent was think but become much easier to understand, super kind, no complaints!
The professor is great at explaining and going over the materials as well as is very mindful over how the class is following along to it. He gives multiple ways in which to prepare for future tests or exams and gives students plenty of time to study and go over the materials.
Overall a really nice professor, knows what he is talking about. Takes sometime getting used to the class and the pearson assignments are kind of annoying but overall a very doable class and good professor.
Don't miss class
A good class to take, but he does talk a lot and takes a while to get through problems.
Prof. Ayeni is a great teacher, but attendance (graded) and punctuality are crucial when there is an in-class quiz (often announced 1-2 days ahead, held in the first 20 min—no make-ups for tardiness/absence unless there is an extenuating circumstance). Keep up with the MLM homework. Exams are fair if you study and follow class material.
I enjoyed this class
The professor was overall okay. He was very respectful and ask if students understood the lessons. The only thing is that there was a lot of homework, sometimes not enough time to understand the material.
Very good professor, made class easy through lectures and clear grading procedures.
He likes what he teaches and likes to go over multiple forms of practice with the class. He holds MAC visits and is always willing to help struggling students.
You will get used to his accent so that wasnt a problem. If you do the homework and attend you will be fine.
After getting used to his accent, it was easy for me to catch on and understand the material
highly recommend, he cares, and is accessible as well.
The professor is great. I was able to take really good notes throughout the whole course. I would definitely recommend never missing class!
I think our teacher is very nice and patient, I like him class very much and his lecture is very clear and concise.
I think our professor is very nice and patient, and his lecture is very clear and concise.
He was good if you came to class and just payed attention, he moves kinda fast so its difficult to keep up at times but overall not bad.
His lectures while long were amazing, I always felt like I either learned something new or was reminded of how to solve things that I might have forgotten. He didn't make me feel stupid for asking questions or not understanding. Overall he made the class environment perfect for students to feel confident in what they were doing!
He was a really good professor and it was easy to follow along. Some days are faster than others but it was overall a pretty easy course. Only problem was the length of time spent in class which was an 1hr 50 min but thats not his fault. 100% recommend to have him as a professor.
I liked him! I think he do a good job teaching class, he's nice and very professional. Sometimes his content moves quickly so be sure to be in class. And most weeks homework is quick and sometimes it requires more time. He allows for multiple extra credit through the semester!
Great professor. Would take a class from him again.
This professor is nice and helpful.
Good and very understanding. I did not dread coming to class, and I hate math. Lectures do go fast, but he will always ask if he needs to slow down or if anything needs to be clarified! A LOT of homework. If you struggle in math like me, make sure you reach out if you need help.
It was just hard to understand this professor.
Very easy course. Professor explains the material well. As long as you go to class the class is very easy to get a good grade in. Homework assigned every week, but it's overall fairly easy.
One of the best math professors I've ever had. He made every problem feel manageable and his teaching style really helped me understand math, even though it's a subject I never liked.
Its just difficult for me to learn in this class
Very easy class overall. Love the profesor. He is super understanding and ALWAYS asks if you understand the material and will go back and explain again if you don't understand. Homework heavy, but the homework does not take long at all because of how easy it is. As long as you show up to class, it should be a breeze for you.
I'm not very good at math and I felt like his teaching was clear!!!
Overall, Professor Ayeni is a great professor. You should be prepared to move quickly in this class and be attentive. Following along and participating will help you understand the course and do better. He is very clear about expectations and material.
There is some homework and in class assignments, but he is a fair grader and as long as you pay attention and go to class you will pass. He is super thorough and goes very slow when explaining new sections.
Good math teacher, will go into more detail with problems if you don't understand, you just need to ask him to.
Helpful and understanding
I would recommend for future students. The professor engages with students if students don't understands the concept, making sure they understand.
be ready to participate.
He's a nice man, he teaching is really easy to understand. You just have to pay attention and ask questions if you're stuck.
Professor has a bit of a heavy accent but after a week you get used to it real quick, other than that he know's what he is doing and explains it well.
This is a simple and straightforward class and the professor is nice.
Professor Ayeni explained the material very clearly and often in a couple different ways, pauses to make sure everything is understood. Though there was a lack of class participation, which may be helped by some get to know you activities (even though everyone hates them). Overall a great professor, I would absolutely take a class from him again!
Very helpful and is always willing to re-explain things, loves when there is class participation
-No makeup Exam -Fair Professor -Help you understand
Professor Ayeni's class requires consistent practice, but he provides helpful explanations and is willing to answer questions. Staying engaged in lectures made the course much easier to follow.
His material was easy to understand if you really took the time to listen and pay attention. Especially when it came down to quizzes and tests, he'd give us a heads up on what would they mainly be on, so we could be prepared. There was a lack of class participation, but he overall tried to get people to engage!
He's really nice and is good at math
He's very nice and respectful, always making sure everyone understands the material. Overall, a great math professor!
In this class be prepared to participate every class.
He is able to discuss the material effectively and clearly. Very good overall.
Lots of lectures but gives great information about math in general. Easy to learn when you pay attention to the notes and do homework.
Good teacher, but is heavy on participation and group work.
lock innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Goes through everything well making it easy and quick to understand.
As long as you go to class and pay attention, you will be fine. The class isn't too hard and easy to get through as long you manage your time right. Would take his class again.
The professor's teaching styles were understandable and clear on what he was try to teach us, he help us understand that if ok to ask any questions and that he will help you with any if you just ask.
He was good but very hard
He is a good instructor and explains things fairly clearly making it easy to learn.
I really liked this professor. He was easy to talk to and always willing to help with questions or problems. The notes and practice problems were useful and matched the exams. The class was easy to follow, consistent, and never overwhelming. You always knew what to expect each day.
he is a good explainer but always do ur notes in that class
Great professor. Really helpful as long as you show up and try!
A very nice professor! Sometimes hard to understand but overall good intentions!
The professor is so understanding
This professor is very understanding and caring.
He explains the material clearly and gives many resources to study.
Not that hard of a class, just have to actually do the work assigned.
He's a good professor however just don't fall behind on the Pearson and ULA assignments. Those stack up on you pretty quick. Attending lecture is a must.
A little hard to understand but overall pretty easy class if u do the work
Very easy class overall aslong as you do the work.
Overall pretty easy class if you do all the work
There is a LOT of homework to be done which can be both annoying and unmotivating as it won't effect your grade too much positively unless you do pretty much all of them
There is a lot of homework that gets annoying,, but the professor is good at what he does.
