over all he was a good teacher i really enjoyed his class.

I loved him!! he explain things very well. if u dnt understand he will make sure u do, he has early mornin study sessions b4 class and dey are extremely helpful. da only problem is, is dat he loves to talk. he talks and talks and talks. but wen he does he makes sure dat he is explainin it well. if i were u, i wuld take his class!!

Mr. Ozcan is one of the most caring profs. He will go out of his way to help you understand the material. What others profs offer pre morning "tutoring" sessions?! His style may not be charismatic, but you'dbe hard pressed to find a prof who cares more!

He is the best teacher!!! Prior to his class, I wasn't interested in biology, but now can't get enough of it. He offers extra help, and always answers your emails immediately. I am taking bio 197 just because he is offering it. You can not find a better teacher!!!!

He explains everything very well and always replies back to the emails and discussion posts quickly.The thing that I didn't like about him was that he is rude sometimes and very antisocial.If you are passing down the hall way and he see you,he will turn his face to the other side and he will never make eye contact with you.

Turned out to be my favorite science class and lab BY FAR! Although he sometimes has a difficult time articulating his thoughts, his notes are very helpful. He is FABULOUSLY helpful on discussion boards and gets back to your emails all hours of the day and evening. He will remember your name! He is a very sincere guy!

He is a VERY good teacher!!! He is caring, and always answers any questions you have. I wish I could take another class that he teaches, but there is nothing else.... Take his class, and you will love it!

I am currently taking Mr. Ozcan for microbiology and have only great things to say. He is such a thorough professor and easy to understand. He really tries to help his students to understand the material. He really is a nice guy.

I am currently taking Mr. Ozcan's Microbiology. He is a great teacher! He answers all questions asked. He makes sure his students understand concepts. In lab, he demonstrates and explains procedures. I cannot imagine anyone thinking he is "rude" as someone else stated. That's so far from the truth!

Mr. Ozcan is a great professor. He is extremely helpful and approachable if you have questions. He answers his emails in good timing; however, he doesn't answer the questions on the communication board fast. I would recommend taking him for Microbiology.

Mr. Ozcan is an incrdible teacher. He wants you to succeed and will go out of his way to make sure that happens. He even does morning study group to help the students in need. and p.s. this man is HOT.

Mr. Ozcan was such a wonderful teacher. He so easy to get along with and teahes the material very well. He really explains the labs well (unlike some teachers Mrs. Klare - Chemistry. Also ladies, he is so sexi.

Material is very challenging, but if up to the task a B is certainly attainable. He seemed fairly approachable - just study hard, like several hours a week hard! Lab portion of this class is easier than 2113/2114, lecture is roughly the same difficulty level.

Mr Ozcan does a good job at making a dry subject a little more interesting. The course doesn't flow well- but it's not his fault. There's so much information! The labs are def easier than Bio 2113/4. There's no lecture DVD like there was in Anatomy, which would make this class great for retaining for a future in the medical field.

Really great teacher. He has no choice but to go through the material fast to cover it all in the time period he has to cover it in but still takes the time a student needs in explaining the material. He is fast at answering emails and is good at answering questions outside of class. He is very helpful in lab, especially with dissections-a must

Ozcan is a great teacher. It appeared he was occupied flirting with a married woman that works at GTC that took too much of his time away from outside of class work but other then that he was great.

I had Mr. Ozcan for A&P and Micro. He is very passionate about what he teaches and he does it in a way that makes it very understandable. He is very thorough and always available to give additional help if needed. I highly recommend taking his classes!

Mr. Ozcan, like many of the professors at GTC is just great. He actually cares. He is the only instructor I had to actually came in early in the morning to do group "tutoring". It was not mandatory, it was just him going to extra mile to help us get the information. He was always available and always encouraging.

He is somewhat antisocial and can be seen as rude at some times. He pretty much reads over his power points in class. I didn't use the book at all and studied off the lecture notes and power points. Lots of memorizing but it's not as bad as a&p.

Absolute knowledge of subject matter and able to teach it with precision. Professional and fair. I enjoyed this course a great deal. He is a shining light in a room full of moronic "teachers" at GTC. Not sure how they found this gem but he should set the standard! Also enjoyed that the dingbat lab coordinator from A&P isn't involved with micro.

Best BIO2117 teacher @ Gwinnett tech. Explains all his powerpoints in a way you can understand. All material on test is explained in class. You do need the book tho. It's a hard course but work hard and don't slack & you will make an A. Approachable, knowledgeable, & helpful.

I only have two issues with this instructor. 1) He sometimes seems a little condescending. It does not happen very often, but it stands out when it does. 2) His 45 min lab tutorials need pruning. The students have lab manuals and prelabs. I suppose it is better that an instructor teaches too much rather than very little and poorly at that.

GREAT TEACHER! He finds a way of repeating things in different ways so it's not redundant and it sticks in your head. Study hard and go to open lab and you will do well!

Ozcan is the man for micro!!!! Awesome, learned a lot. No handholding, just study hard, complete reviews and don't get behind...got an A. I highly recommend.

I recommend Mr. Ozcan to anybody who asks. His lectures are clear and interesting, and he's always willing to answer questions. The material's not easy, and you have to earn your grade. If there's an open spot in his class, jump on it!

Very knowledgeable and detailed in his lectures. he always makes himself available to his students via email, at his office in lab,and after class. This class is hard but Mr. Ozcan does everything possible to make it easier for us. Do all of your assignments, don't miss any classes and you will do fine.

By far the best teacher i have had at GTC. if you want detailed, thorough, and good knowledge then Mr. O is the man to take. he doesnt hesitate to answer questions and is always available to his student. I made an A in both anatomys. All you have to do is take good notes watch the lecture dvd and STUDY. I promise youll succeed!!

VERY GOOD PROFESSOR

I'm glad I had Ozcan for my last semester. After experiencing many teachers I can say that he is by far the best teacher I have had to date. The clarity to which he presents his classes is unmatched. He also seems genuinely interested in encouraging his students which it easy to relax and really get to know the material in a fun way.

AMAZING TEACHER! Had him for BIOL 2114 and BIOL 2117 and got high A's in both classes. Of course the class is challenging but if you study the lecture notes YOU WILL GET AN A!!!

Mr Ozcan is just great. The class has a lot of materials but he finds a way to break it down so everybody can understand. Make sure you understand when he explains and then go home and study, believe me you will get an easy A. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!on top of that he is cute, and that surely does not hurt!!!

Mr. Ozcan is a wonderful professor! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter. He is also very approachable and always willing to answer questions. Take good notes during his lecture, fill out your lecture manual and use it as your study guide for all your exams, and watch the DVD. This class requires a lot of studying.

Mr. Ozcan was the best teacher for this course. He narrows down the material for the test and really knows his stuff. He's a fair and fast grader. He's easy to approach too. The class is tough, not him. Use your lecture notes and online flashcards everyday. Use the textbook for just reference and not studying. Note that APlab is graded separately.

Mr. O is my favorite teacher at GTC, he is friendly and willing to help anyone interested in learning the material. He is a bit introverted but I think that is a good quality to have. He is not in your face about anything, I would take him again and again if I could! If only he taught chemistry

I LOVE HIM! I wish I could've taken him for lecture too. He performs the experiments to show you step by step. He's really good about explaining the material, and he's a quick grader too. Sometimes grades are posted an hour or two after the test. Very knowledgable and enjoys what he teaches. You won't go wrong picking him.

I wish I could have him for A&P 2 :( His lectures are the test, doesn't use too much of the book. I would have only bought the lab manual if I could ! He uses attendance for participation, so come! Ozcan is a great professor! I would love to have him again for A&P II but he won't be teaching it this Spring semester. He is clear in his lectures, if the class does not understand he does not mind going back over any confusing material. Not a hard grader on short answer questions on the test either.

There is a lot of information to memorize for this class. Stay ahead and you will do fine! If you try to memorize bacteria/viruses the week before the test you will fail. His lectures are FAST, so read through the material and notes BEFORE class so that it's a review. I felt like his tests were fairly easy. He gives great feedback. So cute!!!

Professor Ozcan is amazing! I would highly recommend taking him for A&P, if you get the chance to. He is very patient and tries to make sure each student really knows the info. A&P requires ALOT of work and alot of study time. As for any college class, dont just rely on teachers to teach you every single thing. YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE WORK YOURSELF!

Great professor. Speaks English perfectly. Lectures are clear and accurate as to what will be on exams. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is one of my best professors. He is really knowledgeable. He is so helpful if you have question. Only 4 tests and they are easy if you read. All the questions come from his powerpoint. You will be fine if you don't get a book because he covers all materials on his powerpoint.

Mr. Ozcan is one of the greatest professors I have had. He knows his stuffs, goes in order with our lecture notes, and explains topics in great detail (enough to pass each exam with an A). I wish we could have him for bio 2114 every semester! A&P are hard courses with lots of info, don't blame it on the teachers! He also made microbiology easy!

Mr. O is great! Personally not my first choice in teaching style (lectures incredibly detailed) but it works for most. He will stop the class to answer a question. He honestly cares about your understanding of the material and will be happy to elaborate. Summer class is tough being so condensed, but this was survivable!

This is anatomy. This class is hard in general. You MUST put in the effort. Mr. Ozcan is an amazing professor who knows his stuff! I highly recommend him! You have to study a lot. Period. Take pics of his power points. Study lecture notes and his power points and you'll be good. Plus, he is nice to look at! ;) Hottttt!!

I took microbiology with Ozcan over the summer for both lecture and lab. One of the best professors ever!! I wish he could teach every class. He's really great at explaining all the concepts during class. The class is very straightforward. The tests are from the review and aren't too difficult. plus he grades the tests on the same day.

Took him for Lab and Lecture over the summer; For Lab: goes over the procedure before the class starts so everyone is doing it together, and everything you read in the manual is fair game for the final. For Lecture: he emphasizes what you need to know for the test and does reviews for the class before the test on Kahoots!

I took Professor Ozcan's Lecture/Lab this summer and he is fantastic! Tests are based off his lectures and power points, so I would recommend not skipping class. Lab moves through a little quicker, but he's always available for questions and clarification. He truly wants you to learn the material and I wish he was teaching A&P 2.

I took Mr Ozcan's A&P1 summer term. He is an extremely knowledgeable teacher. He is passionate about his subject and wants you to be too. I highly recommend his class and wish he were teaching A&PII.

I took Micro lecture and Lab in the summer with Mr. Ozcan. The class was hard and at fast passed because it was in the summer. Lots of memorization, he made the class easier. He covers everything in his lectures, so you can fill the notes. He is clear on what you need to know. Very helpful. I am so glad I took him. I wish I also took him for A&P

I have taken Mr. Ozcan for every science class (AP1 & 2 & Micro) and love him! He is a fair grader and so knowledgeable on all the sciences. I wouldn't recommend any other professor for science! He is the best!

Professor Ozcan is the best! I was really nervous to take A&P but he makes the material easy to understand. 4 tests , cumulative final, and online quizzes (2 attempts allowed). He provides study guides for every tests and basis test questions solely off study guide. I wish he was teaching A&PII.

Took Professor Ozcan for Lecture and Lab for A&P1 and he is AMAZING! His lectures are straight forward and you really understand the material rather than just memorizing. Go to class and put in effort, it is A&P after all. He gives you so many resources to be successful and he even gave us resources for A&P2. Wish I could take him for A&P2!!!!!

He is kinda boring during lecture but he tells you exactly what you need to know. He is very honest and a pretty decent grader but you will have to study a lot to memorize everything. He is nice and honest which i appreciate unlike other LONG winded teachers what you see is what you get.

I took him for Bio 2113, 2114,and 2117 and I honestly enjoyed his teaching style and lectures.

Mr. Ozcan is so great! He provides plenty of examples and makes sure you understand what is going on before he moves. He's always answering questions and will explain everything thoroughly. Also, he will only teach the stuff you need for this class so you don't have to worry about learning extra stuff for no reason. I really enjoy his lectures!

He explain everything word from word from the lecture note book, He goes by the book exact order, easy to understand when he speaks. he's very helpful to anyone who needs help, pick him I promise you wont ever regret it..

Nothing easy about Anatomy & Physiology, I mean let's be real but what I can say that can helped me with this class is reading the material prior to lecture classes. If you have any questions, you can always email him. He cares for students and it helps if you meet him halfway by studying the material. Read material b4 class and study groups helped

Took Mr. Ozcan for Microbiology lecture and lab online. Was very nervous, but he was very helpful! He made lots of videos and supplied lots of extra links to information outside of his lectures. He taught directly from the lecture notes, and made sure you understood the material. Pay attention, show up, do the work. Mr. Ozcan was great!!

Took Mr. Ozcan for BIOL2117 lecture. He teaches from power points mostly and goes pretty much directly from the lecture notes which was very nice. He's a good teacher and makes lectures as enjoyable as they can be. Study the lecture notes and you should have no problem getting an A in this class. I would definitely take him again.

I had this professor for AP1 and microbiology. He knows his material. Do not slack off and remember to study bacteria ahead of time. It will help with this course

He is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and make the class material logical and fun by drawing pictures of hard topics. You have to ask for help if you need and he is always by your side. I am a science major student and he is one of the very few professors who made me to learn difficult topics by breaking it small portion in a fun amazing way.

professor is amazing had him for anatomy lecture and microbiology lecture very easy to follow along. Responds to emails fast , grades fast and is willing to explain anything you can ask during class or after class would recommend and retake again thanks for being an amazing professor

Very knowledgeable and professional. He'll answer any and all questions and he really focuses on pertinent information. He's one of, if not, the best professor I've ever had. I have his lecture and lab class and he's a really good lab instructor too. I would definitely recommend his class.

Even when i had issues with my lab instructor Ms Musselwhite, he was able intervene amicably, i appreciate his guidance, help, level of maturity all through the semester. Well done!

Mr. Ozcan is one of the best professors at GTC. His classes are very informative yet simple. He makes sure you understand the concept & provides reviews before each test. He's very patient & kind. Quick to respond to emails. Grades fairly. He genuinely wants his students to succeed - you can figure that out from the way he explains the material.

This guy is awesome! He clearly has a lot of knowledge on the subjects he teaches and seems to really care about his students. He is comfortable to approach and has no problem answering any questions you may have. He lets you see your exams after he grades them, so you can see what you got wrong (that helps prepare you for the final).

He is a great professor! His lectures are simple, clear, and focused on what you really need to know. He offers extra points for attendance and is very understanding, especially if you are an ESL student. He takes his time to answer all questions and will allow you to review your test if you request it. Highly recommend .

Would give him 10 stars if I could! Lectures are extremely clear and organized. Teaches all material needed to succeed in class. Extremely easy to ask question to. Always open to help explaining or pointing out material 5 times if needed. Answers emails fast. Kind to students and other teachers. Voice is a little on the quiet side so sit in front.

Mr. Ozan is a good professor. I would recommend taking his classes if you have a chance. He truly cares for his students. He has his own videos for his classes, which helped me during the A&P 1 section. He is very knowledgeable and a great tutor, but he's very particular with his grading. So, you have to make him happy by doing the work.

Had him for microbio lab and lecture. He's a really chill dude and although theres an insane amount of material (especially for test 2 and 3), he makes sure to explain it in a way thats easy to understand and is always open to answering questions. If you're gonna take microbio at GTC, make sure its with Ozcan trust

He is by far the best professor at explaining the extensiveness of A&P.He teaches us what we need to know in a way that makes sense and isn't overwhelming.I don't see how anyone can have a problem with him.The material in this course is extensive for clinical reason.Takes hard work, constant studying outside of lecture w/o a professor at your side.

Mr. Ozcan is honestly an amazing professor. I don't think I would've done as well in the class if I had a different professor for A&P I. His lectures are detailed and he draws everything out which, if you're a visual learner, is extremely helpful. Very responsive outside of class. Very fast grader. You'll have your grade 1-2 hours after the exam!

3 hr "Blended" = lectures online and tests in person. Professor Ozcan is clear, concise and consistent with his lectures. Take note of anything he writes down/draws/circles and you'll be golden for the tests. Drawing = retention. He won't overwhelm you with extra unnecessary details. He's direct, which is crucial for this course. Highly recommend.

Professor Ozcan is amazing. He is very kind, professional. He teach with all his heart and always cares for students. I took AP1 and Micro. It is so pitiful that he does not teach AP2. You will be very happy in his class.
