this professor is great becuase he is funny and the class is easy, he helps everyone and is very nice.

He has the class separated into two parts, the lecture on Tuesday and the lab on Thursday. The lab on Thursday allows you to do the homework for the class. He allows late work if you have an acceptable reason, but he's not too lenient. You don't have to show up to pass, but you won't get an A. You'll also miss out on a lot of good information.

In 2017 spring semester, i am taking computer literacy class, the professor's class is interesting, and he always make class funny. This class is easy long as you show up and do the work. You cannot miss too many days because he grades you on participation points. You start off at 100 points and as you miss days your points will go down. I missed one day and it went down to 95 points. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities though if your grade is low. Overall, great.

The class itself is easy going and the professor helps make the class fly by. If you have any question don't be afraid to ask, he will sit down and make sure you know what you are doing. The work isn't very demanding as long as you manage your time and don't wait till Sunday since he isn't available on Sunday!

His lectures are fun and most of the time funny. That's one of the reasons i didn't drop the class in the first week... Another good thing about him is that he is going to help you a lot when you don't understand an assignment or anything else that you are having problem with and that's something that others professor sometimes don't do.

A good professor and is willing to help out you if you ask, will show you step by step how to solve the problem and sometimes even do the whole question on the board. Highly recommend just remember to show up and if you finish early you can leave.

This is a very easy class to pass. You just need to go to class and follow all his instructions and you will pass. There will be many quiz and lab work to do, but he gives you chances to finish them in class, so you never have homework to bring home. Easy A too btw!

Professor Pablo Romero is a by far one of the best instructors I've had out of any college. He has made my first semester at College of the Desert a great experience thus far. Class was fun, funniest professor. I have learned a lot of more things in this class. Tip: don't come late!! Always finish your assignments.

Overall a great experience, for the class there is what seems like a lot of work but it pretty easy to figure out. As well he helps out whenever and where ever possible. I would gladly recommend him as a professor for this class.

Really good professor. Some of the lectures are really interesting and others a just plain out boring. Really funny and can take a joke. Gets along with his students good and is reasonable and understandable. Looses track when talking in his lecture sometimes.

the professor is hilarious, but he's too picky with his classes. he doesn't know how hardworking a student can be, when a student works hard for their grades, he marks off one slight grade just because of an absence, that is too much. when he tells the class to put the phones away yet he talks to the class about something that not about lecture.

He's a pretty Epic and Funny Professor with his style of teachings and engages the class to learn from the lectures and applications.

The material was interesting for me since i'm a business major, but i think anyone would enjoy this class. The grading is very straight forward which i also really like. I have really enjoyed this class, Professor Romero finds interactive and humorous ways to lecture and get the material across. There are a lot of assignments but he gives time in class to do them, they aren't weighted very high at all and it definitely beats reading the textbook. Must be on time!!

This is honestly my favorite class I have taken here at College of The Desert because professor Romero makes each class interesting and hilarious. I always look forward in coming in and I like that he splits up the lecture for one day and lab another. That helps with not having homework on the weekends. I would strongly recommend taking him.

He's a very nice professor as long as you show up on time and do your works. He's funny. Sometimes feel like he's teaching business but most students in this class are business major so it's helpful.

He was a very good professor. His class was very informational and the lectures are mainly engaging but sometimes can get a little boring. Can be a bit harsh about not being to class on time but its understandable since he said since day one that you need to be on class on time.

He gives a lot of extra credit to help u pass it! He uses his lab classes to let u finish your homework, then you do not need to finish your homework at home. Easy to pass!! his lecture is very funny. He would like to interact with students. I like him. Strong recommend!

The professor Romero is a very inspirational person who Always is trying to help people to achieve their goals. what i don't like about him is that he does not accept excused absences. But is a very nice guy in which you can trust, he teach very well and his class is very fun.

He is pretty chill. As long as you complete your work your free to leave the 3 hour class. One negative thing is he is strict on attendance. He will lock the door exactly when class starts, take attendance and unlock it for anyone running late, your considered "absent" for the day. overall easy class if you do ALL the work

Online course. Directions for submitting certain assignments at the start were not initially written in a clear manner, but after many students submitted more than asked for he gave better worded directions. After this hiccup, this course was very easy to navigate. Do the work and submit it on time and you won't have any issues.

Great professor, but be aware that he does make the class work together. If you like to work ahead or work at your own pace, you would be better off taking it with online. He does take attendance every single day, and if you are not in class by the start time you will be marked absent. Work is easy, so as long as you do everything you'll pass.

I took the computer literacy class on campus. The class is pretty simple, as long as you do your classwork on time and ask questions when you need help you should be fine! You will need access to the online textbooks since that is what the class consists of (online assignments). The professor is also very helpful whenever you have questions!

To be honest he is an excellent professor, College of the Desert needs more professors like him. He helps a lot and make CIS more interesting and fun. Definitely, if i have an opportunity to have a class with him as a professor, i would take it!!!

Professor Romero's CIS 10 class is really simple as long as you keep up with the work which is all online but you do have to show up to class since he does grade on participation at the end of the semester depending on your attendance. He is also available after class for help if you need it for this class or any other class.

Professor Romero is an outstanding person, makes the class a pleasure to be at. The work isn't that hard but the power points he would make us go through were sure to put us to sleep. He isn't strict at all, and doesn't really seem to care if you're late or don't show up. As long as you do all your work when you do show up, you'll be sure to pass .

Professor Romero is one of the best Computer class professors That I have had for when i need help or an assignment to be explained a bit more on what i need to do .

He is a good teacher, however sometimes he has a bit of an attitude. If you want to see him for office hours he will most likely not be in his office. So tell him about in class if you want to talk to him. Also, he doesn't answer emails in the weekends. Don't come to class late, especially the first day or you might not get into class.

Overall a great professor! Engages with the class, cares about the subject. My issue is with his "participation" grade which is really an attendance grade in disguise. If you're late by even 10 seconds you're marked absent and lose all "participation" points for the day even if you fully participated. It operates as an attendance grade, so it is.

I really like this class hes funny and the lectures are good. The work is not bad also, you will get the hang of it after a while.

Pablo is pretty good. Class was pretty easy. If yo in show up and do the homework assignments, you should easily pass, no problem. The only thing I dont like about him is his personality. You can potentially take good grade easily in this class bc he is nothing unclear about grading system and also, he got us tons of opportunities to get an extra credit. Not only that, I could enjoy the class all the time since his hilariousness always made class lively.

Hes a great teacher! Im not tech savy that's why it was hard for me. He gives online assignements like files and excersises regarding programs like Word,Excel, etc... Do your work and you'll pass. Don't procrastinate as some files can be tideous if you are not a tech person. He is very accessible and nice as long as you are a good student! Easy A!

He was a great professor. Lots of online assignments however, he gives you all the time you need during class to complete them and he is very helpful also. And if you dont complete it in class you have time outside to do so. He is not available on weekends though. Textbooks are required as thats how you are able to complete the assignments.
