Great teacher. very clear and interesting class. She always is willing to help and make sure yoiu understand. Lots of fun projects =) It's hard to fall asleep when she teaches. She's always excited.

She is one of the best professors I have had! She is always willing to help and I like the fact that she works to APPLY what she is teaching us. She may assign you her own textbook, but don't take it negatively because she doesn't really teach out of it. Lectures are more important. She is always excited to teach.

Great professor, very enthusiastic and helpful. The class itself was easy if you are able to keep up with the work. The class was online, which was a hard adjustment for me. I wasn't crazy about the textbook- she co-wrote it, but having open book tests made it fine. Overall awesome prof, take her if you can.

I took her first online section for this class, and it was one of the easiest classes of my life. She let you work on your own time schedule and all the assignments were pretty easy to do whenever. The best thing was the hardest part of the class was first so during finals, there was almost nothing left to do for the class.

Paige really knows what she teaches. She has real world experience and is very direct in her teaching. I took an online course with her and it was pretty cool. It was pretty easy, except the cohesion case was kind of a pain, however it paid off in the end. I would recommend Paige for Bus 1040.

Paige is really good at providing real-world examples. She doesn't really lecture, so make sure you know the information before you come to class. There are lots of assignments but they are easy (5-10 minutes) so it is really easy. If you pay attention she is amazing and you will surely get an A.

All tests and quizzes are online, but you do have to put in the work and time . I wish I could take this class again with her.

Tough class to take online but if you work hard it is doable

Paige is incredible. I highly recommend taking 1010 with her in person to get the most out of her in-class lectures. If you decide to take the hybrid course and don't know stats, be prepared to work hard. If you have experience with stats the class is not difficult at all.

She grades on effort, so you'll get an A just for turning in each assignment. Makes a pretty boring class really interesting, I looked forward to lectures! Definitely take her class if you can.

Learned morethan just Excel and stats but how to think and actually analyze data for value. I'm seriously thinking of becoming an analytics major due to this class.

I took this class early freshman year, 2013 winter. Got a 99% in the class, missed the 1% because I didn't do one of the quizzes. As long as you do the assignments, you get a perfect score, even if it's late. The homework and quizzes were online too, and you always had resources, for the exams as well. Very easy and also learned a lot

I enjoyed learning about regression, simulation, optimization and timeseries - difficult class made easy by lectures and examples. Would take again for 2020

I loved taking her class! I would take her for every info class if I could! She does expect you to read all of the power points and watch the videos before class because she does discuss the material in class. If you don't read or watch the videos, you will be lost. Her lectures are funny and relevant to the current business world.

Advanced analytics was a tough class but Batlzan helped to make the material easy to understand and allowed us to create projects that helped us gain experience. I create an advanced analytical engine to digest the music market and was offered an internship based on the work I did in this class.

Tough class but Paige made it easy and took tough material and made it understandable. I appreciated her efforts.

2020 with Baltzan is the only path at DU.

Fantastic professor. I have a 98% in the class and the quarter is almost over. Read the chapters in the textbook; show up to the lab; actually care about your excel quizzes and projects, and take the time to make them look professional. This is such an easy class with Baltzan. I only wish I could have her again. An easy A, and great to learn from.

I honestly like this teacher. She might come off a little rude, but she wants you to be independent and look for answers on your own before coming to ask her. I took her hydride course. It went well for me because all you have to do is read the chapter, do some practice problems then go to class and practice some more. (attendance is important).

Paige is awesome, by far the best prof I have had at DU this quarter. Her INFO 1010 course includes 4 projects, 2 exams (which were take-home for our class) and weekly quizzes that are easy points. Stay on top of your projects and start them the day they are assigned if you want to do well in the class. Great teacher. Challenging, but rewarding.

This woman is a goddess. Don't skip, and work hard. If you get into it, the weekly projects are really fun you just need to work at it. Respect her and she will respect you. Some people get tripped up that her deadlines are rigid but just start early. LOVE HER because it doesn't get better.

INFO 3100 is hard enough, might as well take it with a prof who will help you along the way and give you an A. I learned how to program and made a great project at the end without the overkill of homework and case problems in other classes. She is just a great person overall and helps you see the bigger picture of business and your future career.

She told us one phrase all the time and it was true, it was "If you put in effort and need help I will bend over backwards for you" and it was true. If you at least put in any effort she will make sure that you do well. She also keeps the class interesting, 10/10 I would reccomend

This is a tough class. Many students failed because they did not do any work. I did the work and prof helped me to understand the business models. It was a useful class and It is tough. There were just too many students that did not do any work and made class time wasted with bad questions.

VBA was the hardest class I have taken at DU. Paige was great at setting the student expectations and I worked hard and it paid off. Many students did not do the work and failed. If you take this class just do as Paige tells you and work hard and you will get an A.

INFO 3100 was the first class I took at Daniels that had real value. I used everything Paige taught me at my internship. My boss loves me because I can code. This class was one of the hardest I have taken but worth the time to to learn to code. FInally worth all the money I pay at DU.

I received my intership based on this course and Prof Paige. It was hard and I had to do a great deal of work to learn to code. Students that did nt do the work failed. Do the work and keep up and you will learn.

I am a BIA minor but now wish I had majored after taking 3100. Course was tough. Paige was tough. Overall I needed it or I would not have passed or learned. Lots of students being lazy and cheating was the only bad part of the class.

I did an independent study for Python with Paige and it was awesoe. I was given the freedom to create any app and Paige was always available to help. If you are a good student Paige will work with you for an independent study - do it.

The advice to create a project that would help me in internship/job interviews was invaluable. I had a huge advantage through the entire interview process because of Paige's classes.

Baltzan Python course is my favorite class in BIA. So many useless classes. Baltzan had me build a real project that I actually cared about. I actually enjoyed being challenged and build a real app.

Took the MBA course for information systems strategy. I had dropped the course twice as I found it largely irrelevant.
