She is the best math teacher I have ever had. She knows everything there is to know about stat, and teaches, doesn't simply do problems. She tests fairly, and you will be amazed how hard topics seem easy as she breaks all the steps down.

She really breaks down concepts so that everyone understands them... she is always willing (and available) to help you if needed.

I got a C in the class, but that was totally my fault, (I wasn't fully prepared foe the final), but she's a really good teacher. I made sure that I registered for her Stat 21 in the Fall2004.

Great teacher, she is very clear and knows what she is teaching. The class is tough though, especially if you had a tough time with stat11.

I took her for stat 11 and registered for stat 12 with her just because she is such a great teacher. I don't take classes before 11am, but I made sure I was in her stat 12 class at 10:40 b/c she is a great teacher who makes sure everyone knows what they are doing with the material.

I took her for stat 12 and taking her NOW for stat 21. she explains everything well and helps out. shes great :)

everyone seems to love her, but i find her a tad boring and bland. i fell asleep during most of the time, but since the material is not rocket science i ended up with an A. i did study a lot for the tests though.

If you do well on the tests you'll get a good grade and she only has 3 including the final and they're all multiple choice. Just do the sample exams on blackboard and understand them and you'll be fine.

Basically, the class consists of powerpoint guided lectures + homework due every Friday + surprise class activities (about 5 in the semester--her way of keeping track of attendance, and it does count towards your grade). She is pretty clear and tries her best to answer any questions despite the large class. She helps prepare you for the tests well.

TAKE STAT 2103 WITH HER!! I absolutely hate the subject but she made the class really enjoyable! Not to mention it's 21 and 22 in one semester!! Attend all the classes, she gives class acitivities, and if you have ANY trouble with the homework, e-mail her! Her tests are somewhat difficult but attend the reviews and you'll be fine! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

cake class, i didnt put much effort into the class, but the way she explains it is okay..pretty simple. if you're looking for a class to cut, you can basically cut twice a week and still get an A. her exams only has from 16-20 questions but they are pretty similar to the notes and practice exams.

Tests are easy. Just study from the sample tests. The final exam is nothing like the sample one, but if you know all of the material from the other exams then you should do fine. She gives in class assignments about 6 times a semester and you never know when they come, so it is recommended to attend class and get the points. Great teacher.

She's overrated. She teaches you in class and tells you to do the homework one way, and then test you another way. The text book is useless. Bad experience and a waste of my time.

Solid teacher. Explains stuff fairly well, homework is pretty easy. You don't HAVE to attend class, but she'll randomly give 5 point quizzes (5-6) throughout the semester, which count as your attendance. The sample tests are very helpful, and she goes over every problem on the sample before each exam. Very easy B as long as you aren't an idiot.

Good professor. She explains the concepts well. I'd recommend sitting close the the front since she talks a little soft and doesn't use the microphone. Her tests consist of multiple choice questions, 16-20 questions. Recommended.

Chitturi is a simple type of teacher. She explains what you're going to do and how through formulas and examples. No attendance taken but random 6 minute individual class activities. I suggest attend to take notes because the PP are not posted. She does not try to trick you on exams and provides a sample exam in the beginning of the semester.

She is very clear and goes over one topic thoroughly for two days, she does class activitys so go to class, do the homework its basically your whole grade. everything on tests she goes over, just go to class.

In-class activities are random so go to class plus she gives out notes only in class. The pre-test are just like the actual test and if you're lucky, you'll have a good TA to help you out. So far, she is my favorite professor at Temple. Her class was incredibly easy for me because I already took calculus in High School, but I think she did a great job explaining the problems to people. She has a slight accent, but I never had problems understanding her. I will definitely taking her again next semester for business stat.

Very nice lady! She is a good professor but I would not recommend taking her if you are not use to a larger lecture style for a math class. I love Dr. Chitturi! :) She explained the material really well and gave a lot of examples. Her midterms well easy, very similar to the practice exams. However, the final was difficult, so make sure to study all the chapters! Before the final exam, I had an A in the class. But because I did bad on the final, I ended up with a B+.

I had her for Business Calc and I loved her so much that I took her again for STAT! She explains everything step-by-step and gives helpful class activity to do. She is very resourceful and is always willing to answer any questions! Even with a big class she manages to interact with students. TAKE NOTES! she doesnt post ppt online.

Nobody really likes stat, but Professor Chitturi helps get everyone along. She moves at a snails pace through examples to really make sure you get it. It's worth it to go to every class, because she spends so much time on examples. She's a nice, attractive woman who I would take again. Her TA, Gina, was pivotal. Amazing teacher who made STAT easy and understandable, there are only three tests the whole semester which are NOT curved but if you study it's pretty easy to do extremely well on them, homework is once a week and not that difficult-its good practice for the problems on the tests, couldn't recommend taking her enough :)

She is a bit too strict about talking in class and using cell phones/laptops. However, she does an excellent job at teaching, as she goes at a very slow pace. One of the sweetest professors. Is very clear within her lectures and uses time well in class. Professor Chitturi was an amazing lecturer and taught statistics in a very clear way. I had taken AP Statistics in high school so I found the class easy. There is unlimited attempts on the online homework and the excel projects are overall not too difficult just time consuming. Exams were more than fair, overall a great class.

Shes honestly amazing and you should TAKE HER for Stat 1101, 1102, or 2103. She could not make the class easier to understand and makes it easy to get a good grade.

This class is honestly way to easy to fail. If you are getting bad grades, its because you put in literally no effort, at all. Chitturi is so nice, caring, and makes the class so easy. She is one of the best Math teachers I have ever had However I found this class to be hard and very challenging specifically with the exams. Everything else was easy. I felt that the practice tests did not prepare a student very well. They said its "similar" but i didnt. Id recommend going back and studying the notes along with the test.

Shes a good professer. It is just that i didnt feel like the practice tests really didnt help much. The problems on the exam seemed different the practice exams. ProfChiturri has been the best professor I've taken in Fox thus far. She teaches in a way that is easy to understand. The lectures can be boring because the material isn't very difficult, but she offers in class assignments that help your grade so might as well show. She will embarrass you in front of the class if you talk while she does.

I hope Penn dont steal her from us bc she has some mad stat skills. Definitely take her and I promise u wont regret it. No matter what kinda student u are she has something in her teaching style for everyone

Professor Chitturi is a great stats teacher and explain things very well. She is nice and caring. There's homework due every week and two midterms for the class but they are not hard at all. I would definitely take her again. 10/10 recommend!

She is the best math professor I have had at Temple. If you have the chance to take her, definitely do it (be quick tho because her lectures fill up fast). She is fantastic at explaining material and LOVES answering student questions. I honestly wouldn't mind switching my major to statistics if it meant I would be taught by her again. A QUEEN!

Great professor with super easy tests! She's super sweet and lets you out of class early every time. She gives like 4 random attendance quizzes, so even though attendance isn't mandatory you might wanna show up.

As someone who isnt great at math (at all), this semester was the first time that Ill be getting a good grade in a STAT class. Prof Chitturi is really caring and doesnt mind going over a question/example if you didnt understand it. She also makes sample exams that are similar to actual exams that we go over before the exam which is great.

It was clear she was trying to help students. Not hard if you do the homework and study a little for the exams.

Amazing professor. I enjoyed her class even though I don't really like math, and I learned so much from her. Her teaching style makes her super easy to follow and she is super friendly. You have Excel projects for this class, which is kinda BS and useless, but otherwise I would definitely take this professor again for my other classes.

She is amazing! Take her. She makes the class very easy and 95% of all statistics done for the exams you can do in a program that she allows you to use and the TA shows you how to use it. Entire class is weekly homework (very easy that the TA also does for you and records it), and 3 Exams (Which the TA goes over the study guide beforehand)

This class is very easy as long as you do the homework. Professor Chitturi gives multiple opportunities for students to receive a good grade. She gives unlimited attempts for the homework as well as the excel projects. The exams were fairly simple considering it was the same material we covered in the homework. Best stats professor ever!

Professor Chitturi does a great job of teaching the material and the class itself is relatively easy to earn an A in as long as you do the homework and sample exams to study.

Absolutely love this professor so much even If I am struggling a bit. She will always encourage us to help you step by step and her TA is amazing especially help guide us through the and excel projects! Her exams are all open notes and not proctored so it is an easy A.

The exams are straight from the hw. Just study the hw before the quizzes and exams and you will pass.

This class isn't hard tbh and Chitturi is an awesome professor. She really knows her stuff and explains everything really well. The tests are identical to the reviews and asynchronous so they're easy. There are also 12 excel projects that can get tedious but if you start them early they aren't bad.

Amazing professor. Made very boring material pretty easy to digest. There were weekly Excel projects, but the TA posted tutorials for all of them. The mylab work was very manageable, and the exams were not awful. Study a lot for the midterms and final and you should be fine. She also dismisses class at least 30 minutes early every day

Chitturi takes boring material and makes class tolerable for students. She's helpful if you have questions during class. Do the homework, excel projects, and quizzes for easy grade boosts. For the exams you're allowed to use Excel, use it. Attendance isn't required. Use your own judgment as to whether you should go to class as it can feel redundant

Absolute wonderful professor! first semester here and by far. She does a great job making the lectures interesting and worth coming to class for. The homework, quizzes and tests are standard Pearson work; she allows open book quizzes and pre-populated excel spreadsheets for test. Highly recommend taking her if you want a great quality professor!

I'm really glad I took this professor for my last ever Stat class. Everyday she taught with a smile on her face and gave her 110% in teaching. She definitely wants you to succeed. Although the class was hard for me I still managed to pass. Take her and you won't regret it. She's an amazing women.

Good professor. Excel projects were hard but TA provided step by step tutorial. She provides sample exams for each exam, as long as you study and understand that then you will pass the exams. 3 exams, 2 quizzes, excel projects and mylab homework every week.

Professor Chitturi is an amazing teacher who truly wants her students to succeed. While the class can be challenging, she makes the lectures engaging and the exams straightforward if you do the homework. unstuck study and the practice materials were also super helpful for exam prep.

Professor Chitturi is a very caring and extremely knowledgeable professor. She's very helpful and is driven to make sure you understand the lecture and succeed. She is very clear in what she asks for in her assignments, and makes her class very straightforward. She will make a hard topic like statistics seem easy due to her amazing teaching.

Dr. Chitturi organized her slide deck into 4 blocks throughout the day. And then posted them to the Course Canvas site in the same manner so that it was easy for the student to navigate and find. She spent a great amount of time on the subject and ended with a wrap up (or key takeaways) of the learnings. One of the best professors at Temple.

I love this professor. As someone who failed STAT1001, and then took her for 2 and 3. She does teach well, but I always use the sample exam to practice for the exam. I am also not the brightest in math either but to pass this class, just keep practicing the sample exams!

Prof really cares about her students understanding content and gives great lectures. Take her if you can!

Professor Chitturi is excellent! She has a great understanding and passion for statistics and can break down her lessons in a simplistic way. She cares for her students and offers plenty of prep materials, such as practice exams that have questions that are very similar to the exam. She also has a TA post Excel project recordings for guidance.
