Mrs. Ubl was a great teacher. She was friendly and fun and always went the extra mile to help. I will definetely take her for 1102!

Give quizzes on basic english like part of speech, etc. Don't be scared by the quizzes because she'll help you know them better. She don't accept late work, but she not a strict grader. So long as you did the right MLA format, you can easily get a B or A.

She is a little strict but her quizes are easy

Professor Ubl was great.She went out of her way to make sure everyone understood the class and was doing their best.She starts the class with information you can take with you throughout your college career.

This professor went the extra mile to assist student but she still teaches in a high school manner (no gum,hats) (which she recently left as a teacher). I would only reccomend this professor if you are able to ignore her child like treatment of students.

Had a great time in Professor Ubl's Class. Had great discussions and didn't mind the parts of speech quizzes. Best professor i've had yet!

Prof Ubl is great!She is helpful and fair.I read where people mentioned that she treats you like you a child but I disagree. I think she just expects that her students will have basic manners in a classroom (no gum,no hats inside, etc).I learned alot from her class and will take her again for 1102!

Very good teacher. I hate english but she was able to find ways to make me intrested. If you can take this teacher it would be great idea if you are ready to learn.

I recommend this professor. If you are planning on taking her, she will seem uneasy at first, but give her a chance and you,ll see that she is very humerous at times and makes learning fun. She is a good listener and gives great advice. Pam really cares about her students.

Good class

She is srict in a good way makes you try harder in the class. She will go out of her way for you if you try. Good teacher. remember the first test it just repeats itself throughout the course.

FCCJ has some dumb people... why do you talk about making friends with your prof.... well im just looking for easy teachers and this is one of them... i wish that i could take 1102 with her but i am going to santa fe... if you get her you will be happy unless your a complete idiot like these other people commenting.

put it this way, she lets you bring your overdue homework to her house. She calls you at home if you miss class to see if your ok. One of her students went homeless and she took her and her baby in. This lady rocks and expects you to *gasp* learn. I would take her again and again. She is amazing.

The class itself was a piece of cake; the professor, on the other hand, was horrible! She treated us all like we were complete morons!!

her class was so fun and easy. everything we did in 1101 was just a review in 1102. i liked the group debates we had.

She was a great teacher. She will let you call her house if you need her. It is clear that she cares about her students. If you are a hard working student you will be just fine...if you are lazy you will not do well at all.

Professor Pam is a very good professor. Before i hated english, but she made it easy and fun.I wanted to take LIT 2000, but the cancaled. If anyone is interested in a good professor, she is the one. I got an A in the class.

This class was easy. Just pay attention in class and do your class work. She may give some essay's but it's nothing that the students may be overwhelmed about. I recommend her class to anyone.

Excellent teacher. She expects you to learn but she gives you the tools to do so. She allows you to re-write papers and re-take tests. Her goal is for you to learn the material. I am an older student returning to school and I really enjoyed her class! I highly recommend her.

Excellant teacher who cares. Show up, do the work and keep her informed if you have a problem and she will work with you. She will not give you the grade, you do have to try.

Professor Ubl is an excellent teacher. She really tries to teach you the things you will need to know to get you through the rest of college. The MLA handbook is the biggest thing you will need in this class which is probably the cheapest book you will buy $18.00 at B&N. I got an A and am taking her for 1102.

I took Prof Ubl for 1101 & 1102. She lets you re-write EVERYTHING and her work is extremely easy. the class is super boring, but it's an easy easy A. She doesn't believe in papers over 4-5 pages. She does have a horrible attitude though & will treat you like a child. Only took her twice because of the easy A.

i took her for enc1102 and she is the easiest teacher ever! everyone in the class got an A. she will let you rewrite and retake every test/essay

Sure her class is easy, but she is a horrible horrible teacher. I took this class expecting to do LIT work. Not MLA work and a movie. I would prefer to write essays and learn the material than watch a movie and get an A. She is awful and extremlly bipolor.

A great teacher! backs everything up and really wants you to succeed! sure she gets off topic every once in a while but it's worth it because the class really is a breeze just make sure you go or she will call you!!

I have had no problems with her. The class was a breeze and you can re-write anything you want. She does go off talking about one of her daughters or her personal life now and then. She was available anytime somebody needed extra help with something. Heck, she even gives you her address so you can turn in something if need be.

She is the ideal teacher. This women understands the true meaning of learning. If u complete a assignment and dont do it correct she allows you to correct yourself for a better grade. She explains what is expected of you throughout the class. She doesnt mess around but is a very sweet women. If you want to learn n have a great prof. take her!

Prof. Ubl is a great professor who wants to see you succeed. She will allow you to rewrite your homework essays over until you get it right! You can make an "A" in this class if you want to, but you will have to put forth effort. She is a very interesting lady and has a lot of knowledge to share! :) I liked her and will take her for ENC 1102.

ENC1101- I absolutely loved her! She lets you rewrite any of your assignments or essays until you get it right. She will go over and over something if you don't understand it. She even gives you her cell number if you are confused or have a question. I will take her for ENC1102!If English is not a strong subject TAKE HER!

You'd be crazy not take her. Even if you do bad on a paper or assignment, she will allow you to redo it as many times as you need before her cut-off date. She can get a little too animated sometimes and she may annoy you to no ends with some of her habits, but what she lacks in people skills she makes up for in the way the class is run.

Ubl was a little strange. Just depends on her mood I guess. She treats students like there kids who don't know anything though. The work was farely easy, just make sure you keep up with it. She will even allow you to re-do assignments as much as you need to until cut off date. All in all she was OK. Oh and never, never be late!

Can be a bit crazy but I think she works very hard. Excellent is telling you what and how she wants things. You want to be a lazy college student then don't take this class. I love the way she is firm in her class rules, this leads to a well organized and respectful class period.

Prof. Ubl doesn't care who she offends in her class as long as you learn everything she wants you to. The way she taught overall was effective - she allowed everyone to redo assignments as many times as they needed. She said there was no point in turning something in if it wasn't perfect. If you can handle pushy people, by all means, go ahead.

People either love her or hate her and I noticed the pattern goes like this the people who make an effort and learn something love her and those who just want the credit without making an effort hate her. I learned a lot from this teacher. I definitely recommend taking her class.

Helpful to a fault. Allows people chances to retake and rewrite tests and papers that are unsatisfactory. Easy A.

great teacher. easy class. but you actually learn from it. will do anything to help you succeed. I'm sure everyone at FSCJ knows where she lives she will let you drop off work at her house. All in all real sweet lady. can sometimes talk to you like a child but you will learn to giggle when she does. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Ms. Ubl is a teacher who cares about students and wants you to really learn. She's eccentric, but sweet. She'll let you hand in papers multiple times. In ENC1101 the focus is on MLA style and how to do it correctly. She is very particular on doing things correctly! Pay attention, and you'll get an A!

Extremely good teacher. She pays more attention to you learning the correct way to write an MLA paper, and not your writing ability. Will let you keep turning in papers/quizes until you get an A. Take advantage of this and your guaranteed to get an A in this class. She makes class fun.

Mrs. Ubl really cares about her students. All you have to do is follow instructions.

How anyone cannot like her is beyond me. She is willing to do everything but write your paper for you. She was only condecending to the idiots who asked questions about what she had just covered and were busy talking. This is a breeze class; you will pass if you pay attention! **I learned proper semicolon use in her class!!!!!

Pretty good class. All the material was important. She can be unclear at times with the assignments and could come off as a bit arrogant. Best time to ask her questions: after class.

This was my second class with Professor Ubl. She is the most kind teacher I have ever had. If you are unable to turn in an assignment, she will allow you to put it on the swing in front of her house. There are several papers to write but they are typically easy and at the longest 5 pages. If you dont talk while she does you will have 0 problems

She is very eccentric, and can come across VERY harsh, but I loved her. If you go into the class knowing what to expect it won't bother you. She TRULY cares for her students. Pay attention. Don't be scared to ask questions. She lets you redo papers which is nice because she wants you to LEARN from your mistakes. TAKE HER=)

One of the best teachers I ever had. She cares about her students and wants to make sure you succeed. If you don't do well on an quiz or paper she allows you to redo. An easy A. Just make sure you get to class on time

TAKE THIS CLASS. She gives you her phone number and lets you text her whenever to ask any questions. I took the summer class and we wrote a few papers and had 2 easy quizzes. She let's you redo all of those if you don't get a good grade. I got 100's on everything and I'm a high school student in dual enrollment so take my word it isn't hard at all.

I love this professor!!! As a dual enrollment student this was a great first class. She comes off saying its hard but she really is not! Attend class and you will do fine. Only write like 4-5 essays mostly 3 pages. The first weeks of the class you learn how to do MLA which is even easier. Great class great teacher

Professor Ubl is the best! She was my first college professor and she is a wonderful lady. We had to write an essay every week but it wasn't too bad. She is very willing to help you with anything. The final is a 5 page paper. Great teacher!!!

She may have higher standards than others, but she teaches well and will do nearly anything to help you pass as long as you try. She doesn't have much tolerance for slackers or unruly classes. She was always very helpful and friendly to everyone. I would take her class again in a heartbeat if given the chance.

Professor Ubl is more than fair. She will let you redo any paper and turn in assingments late. She "talks down" to you a little but to me it is worth it for how helpful she is. You can call or text her anytime. I liked her so much, I am talking her LIT2000 class next term.

Honestly, Professor Ubl will do anything for her students. She is very flexible and understanding of busy lives and schedules. She does assign a few more papers than anyone would like, but it's not overwhelming. She is very passionate about what she teaches, which is always encouraging to see from a professor.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. Very helpful, fair, and honest. You have to put forth effort into the class, and if she sees you doing so she will meet you halfway. Always able to redo your papers until you excel. TWO ENTHUSIASTIC THUMBS UP!! (:

Great teacher. She can be a little harsh at times. Expects everyone to be on time. Seriously DO NOT BE LATE! Gives coupons for practically everything. At least one three page essay a week. Theyre really easy. She only grades what she has taught.

Show up, pay attention, do your work and you'll pass. Allows you to take retakes on quizzes. I didn't have time to do a retake so I got a B+ instead of an A due to one quiz. If you need help, just ask her! She is super clear & as very high expectations. Easiest English class I ever had.

She can go from bright and cheerful to angry and sadistic real quick. But I'd be lying if I said she doesn't care about the material and use everything in her power to make sure you understand it. Assigns a new essay every class and expects you to be working on a group essay and final essay during your free time. Not an easy A by any means.

This was one of the best professors I've ever had. Passing was very easy. If you need extra help she's willing to come before or stay after class to work with you. She even lets you rewrite papers for a better grade, just don't abuse her trust because she will revoke that privilege. I've already signed up to take 1102 with her in the fall.

Professor Ubl genuinely cares about the success of her students. She may be a stickler when it comes to doing things properly, but you can tell she means well. Provides a lot of the materials for her students. Gives students plenty of opportunities to correct their mistakes to get a higher grade. Highly recommend.

Prof Ubl is a real gem. You only get to meet a few profs who REALLY care about you and she is one of those! And you really learn the material. That being said, you can't have thin skin in this class. She talks down on students but she means well and just wants the best for them. Highly recommend, esp if you want to master MLA 8th.
