Ms. Dale was formerly Ms Destefano, so look up reviews there too. She is awesome and you can use the TI89 which means you can pass. If I can pass with A anyone can. Only proctored tests are the mid-term and a final. TAKE HER!

What a fantastic professor. Even though most of the course content was provided by the website associated with the textbook, Professor Dale's constant encouragement and obvious enthusiasm was infectious. She was very active on the discussion boards, and made the online experience a true joy. One of the best professors I've had. 5 stars!

Mrs Dale is the best math teacher I have had at TCC. She breaks calculus down and explains it in real life terms so it is easy to understand. Book & math lab not required. She uses my open math which is FREE!!! Very fair teacher and really knows her stuff. Tests are just like the test review so nothing is a surprise. Highly recommend!!

I wish I had this teacher for every math class I have ever taken. She gives you the lecture, does problems in class and if you still need help there is a step by step video online at my open math. She does not require a text book which saves hundreds of dollars. Do the homework and practice tests to prepare for the open book test you will get an A.

I have struggled with math my entire school career. I have put of this applied calculus class as long as possible but finally had to take it and Ms. Dale could have not been a better choice. She manipulates the tough material of calculus and makes it interesting and easy. If I had started with teachers like her, I would have been a math major!

I was weary about taking Calc I but Mrs. Dale made the world of difference. Her lectures are very clear, she gives many examples breaking down every component. She's very organized so the material is right in front of you. There is homework so do it. She gives excellent test reviews. You still MUST study, do your part and you'll be fine.

I was dreading taking algebra the class wasn't bad at all. She posted some assignments early if we wanted to work ahead. She answers questions consistently and thoroughly.

This class is very student friendly. The teacher and the other students are there for you answering any questions you have. She opens the assignments if you want to work ahead as well which was VERY helpful to me this semester.

I took 163 and 164 with her online. It was fairly easy because the tests and quizes are all open-book. She allows students to use any source material as possible where if you put SOME effort in taking notes and watching videos, you'll get an easy A (Just make sure you studied your notes). Tests are actually the same as on our homework. Always there

If you are the independent type you will enjoy this class. She doesn't require all the extras from you like other professors. You do the work, you earn your grade. Make sure to watch the videos if you get confused on a problem. This course is set up for you to succeed. She is helpful and has a fast response time. You can also get extra credit.

She opens up all classwork so you can work ahead of time, She is great! you have Homework and 3 quizzes and the 3rd quiz is the final exam so your done after that. Many online math classes can be quite difficult but the video lectures give you all the information you need and if you are still confused you can post to the forum or message Professor Dale and she is more than willing to provide the feedback needed.

Professor Dale has been great to work with! She is very helpful! Gives extra credit! For an online math class I was skeptical but the MOM program and not having to pay for a textbook has been great! Professor Dale is the BEST! The class does not require a book, you can work ahead, you are given 10 late passes for the semester, and the workload is not overwhelming. I took this class as an Old Dominion student, due to needing college algebra for my psych degree. Mrs. Dale makes the class extremely easy with providing videos that guide you through each problem. There are two exams and the homework is most of your grade. I ended up with a 98 A and I am glad that I chose her as my professor. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Really good class. Most of grade is HW based, proctored exam with credit for work, 2 "lab" assignments that are fairly straightforward. Her class is really simple, no nonsense. Just practice your math, learn it, and she's available for any help. Refreshing to have an instructor who really focuses on math.

Professor Dale is the best mathematics teacher at TCC. I have been her student for Calc II and Calc III. Next semester I will also be taking her in person at the Chesapeake campus for Differential Equations. She has quick response time and gives many opportunities for extra credit. Class uses Lumen OHM system. EC given for participating on forum discussion. Weekly homework assignments have unlimited attempts which allow for better understanding of material. Professor Dale made the class fun and was always monitoring the forums and available for feedback. Very quick responses. Put in the work and get a good grade.

Took this professor last semester for Calculus 1, taking her again for Calculus 2. I HIGHLY recommend professor Dale as she is very understanding and is actually a person. Meaning, she will be considerate on things if you need help and such.

If you struggle with Calculus take this teacher! Had her for 263 and 264 ONLINE. Online homework gives you infinite tries to get 100%, gives extra credit for forum participation, and Test Reviews which will VERY closely match the Exams. Exams are proctored for distance learning and she gives partial credit for simple mistakes.

Professor Dale is a great teacher! She took over my class when our professor went on maternity leave. I'm happy for the switch, she was very understanding and helpful. I have taken her for Calc I and II, and will be taking her Calc III in the fall. She is so clear and direct. She provides examples for every type of question. If you don't get the right answer, she personally does the math and posts it for you so that you can see the right way to do it. Sometimes there's a lot of homework, but it's never hard.

Professor Dale is a must take for Calculus III online. Some homework assignments are lengthy, but you get infinite attempts at every problem. Extra credit is given for participating in discussion forums. She allows you to bring a formula sheet to proctored tests which is a huge help. She's also really nice and funny. Dale is honestly the best prof. at TCC. I took her for calc 1 & 2. Calc 1 was in-person and easier than any pre-calc class I ever took. I recieved an A, but I worked for it. She is awesome! Homework problems usually 15-25 questions, some do take time to complete. Extra credit for helping fellow classmates in the forum. Majority of the homework has youtube videos attached (very helpful). Class it not overly difficult, but you do have to master the material. She is very caring of your success. Uses lumenohm (which I love) There is a decent amount of hw but as long as you do it you will pass. Each question has an attached video on how to do them and she gives you lots of other resources too. She is very understanding and makes tests nonproctored.

I have always struggled with math and Professor Dale makes it fun. I cant believe I didnt find her sooner. She gives amazing feedback and tells you exactly what you did wrong and how to fix it. Professor Dale was an amazing teacher- she provides you with everything you need to pass! In total for the semester there was 25 HWs and 3 tests. Every week you log on, watch the videos, take some notes, and do the HW (usually 2 quizzes, unlimited attempts). The tests are timed (2+ hours), but you can use your notes and you are not recorded

Took Professor Dale for Calc I, II, and Differential Equations. Great Professor, provides feedback on forum posts if you're stuck on a problem or concept. Quite a bit of homework but straightforward. Yes, I got a C+, but I put in minimal effort. I did most of the assignments and did ok on the tests. This class was amazing and I genuinely learned from it. The test reviews are almost identical to the tests and the homework is super helpful. Ms. Dale responds to questions almost immediately and made this class enjoyable. Would take her again!!

Ms. Dale is amazing! I took her MTH263 class during summer. This class had minimal workload (3-4 homeworks per week with unlimited attempts for each question) and the homeworks are easy. We had 2 tests that are required to be taken in a testing center or online using a proctored platform. Ms. Dale made calculus easy.

She uses LumenLearning which is super helpful because you get 5 late passes, homework is not due on Sunday with all your other homework, you get basically 300 attempts to get credit for a question because you can try each problem 3 times & theres 99 other problems you can get if you don't get it right. Not a hard class. Calculus is a hard topic.

Homework intensive class, but all done with unlimited attempts allowing you to have a solid buffer in your grade. This with extra credit opportunities by using the forums and a conceptual assignment as a significant portion of the grade give you a very good buffer for the exams. Practice tests are very similar to the real thing.

Knowledgeable and caring! 3 tests, 2 proctored and 1 at home. Grades very fair, just show that you care! It's not an easy A, you still have to learn! Only complaint is that a practice test was not provided for the 1 we took at home.

Prof Dale has been very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the semester. She posts a weekly update for the class, and each lesson includes videos for the homework problems. Two proctored tests can be taken at a TCC campus or remotely through a 3rd party service, and one at-home test.

She has to be one of the best higher math professors I have had. I would 100% recommend her to people who are interesting in actually learning Calculus 2 instead of regurgitating information. Her class is broken down to 50% exams, 40% homework, and 10% for the final project. If ask her for help in solving a equation she will give you extra points.

Easily one of my better academic decisions was to take this class with Prof. Dale. Hadn't taken a thorough math course in 3 years but that didn't end up being a problem. Always available to help, gives practice exams that are incredible guides for the real ones. HW assignments come with videos. Opted for this instead of at my home site, glad I did.

Had Dale for an online asynchronous Calc2 class, so I have no in-person observations. She is positive and helpful. Her class is well organized and straightforward. There's a textbook, but the short, concise videos she assigns is all you need; take notes. DO THE EXAM PRACTICE; it's the same format as the test. Engage in the forum for extra credit.

Pretty chill course overall. At most two assignments per week with a total of three tests. Two of the tests are proctored which you could take online on Zoom which is a total upgrade and the other test is done on your own time. She uses lumen so there are multiple videos to help you along on how to solve most of the problems on the hw. 10/10 teach

I had to drop her class midway through the semester due to Military Responsibilities. She was very understanding of my situation and allowed me to avoid getting an F in her class. I want to take her class again and was hoping that she teaches an in-person class next semester.

Great teacher, its an online class and each homework assignments is followed by multiple videos explaining how to solve the HW questions step by step. You can ask her or other students for help and receive extra credit for that. And her test was 20 questions with a studyguide of 2 of each question. So you actually learn what she expects you to know

The website used for the Differential Equations class had online lectures that had clear understandings of the topics in the syllabus. If you had any questions for her she was there to answer and help within 24 hours. She allows extra credit and it is very easy to achieve! She is a wonderful lady and have recommended her to several of my friends.

I already have a degree, taking classes to be more competitive for grad school. Best value for an online course. Provides a clear path to success with pre-test study guides. If you do the HW and the pre-tests, then the actual tests are easy to score well on. I scored a 99.4% during Dale's Calculus II, compared to the C I got during my undergrad.

She is the best! I have taken her for Calc II & III. The subject matter is difficult but she gives you all the resources you need and practice tests! There are one or two homework assignments a week.
