I did not like her class. I doped her class and got W because I did not like her class. Speech class is easy but she is looking for some ways to make it hard. Forexample, she is picky on English grammer when you return your papers. She make people who are quiet and do not talk, incomfortable in her class.

Great class! Would definitely recommend for people who want an easy A. Only 3 major speeches. 10-12 Summaries throughout the semester and their only one page. As long as you follow the speech guidelines, show up to class and submit everything on time your guaranteed an A.

Pam is an amazing person inside and out. She cares about her students and likes to see you pass. 3 major speeches, 10 chapters of review questions, and 2 chapters of extra credit review questions. She gives great feedback and will help you in any way needed. She lets you send her your speech in advance and she will give feedback on it.

Keep in mind that the bad reviews are most likely from students who dont like public speaking and are blaming the teacher. This is an amazing class with a teacher who truly cares. The work is not hard, but if you dont do it you wont get a good grade. If you have a fear of public speaking this is definitely the prof to pick!

Even if you have issues about about speaking in front of people, you can still receive an A as long as you are showing improvement. There is an online textbook and there are weekly review questions to be answered but they are a small part of overall grade. You cannot pass without actually speaking in front of people. She does grade attendance.

We had weekly textbook review questions (from a free online pdf textbook), 3 major speeches and one small speech with a partner. We were supposed to have more major speeches but that changed when we transitioned online. Just do everything that is outlined in the rubric for each assignment and you should get an A. She made me feel very comfortable.

Pam is a delight. She is friendly, funny, and gives clear guidelines on how to succeed. She tells you day one to pick your group carefully. I can promise everyone leaving less that a 5/5 was someone who ignored that. Follow the guideline, put in effort, and you will get an A. Coast, ignore guideline, and partner poorly and you won't get an A.

Took the class over zoom. 3, 100 point speeches, and 2 mini 25 point speeches. Gives great feedback on speeches. Provides her real phone number so you can text her anytime if you need help with something. Every week you have to read a chapter from an online book (usually around 12 pages), take a 5 question quiz on it, and do the hw. GREAT PROFFESOR

I really enjoyed her class, the homework was very free-form and was mostly writing from personal experience which made it very easy to do. The nature of the course I took was based on group speech and she was very understanding when my group became difficult to work with.

Textbook is free, she was alright. She has a sense of humor and is very conversational, but she kinda has this aura of stressing students out when its presentation time. Take the class if youd like to avoid paying for a textbook.

Professor Jurach is clear and concise with her expectations of students in her class. She makes herself available during office hours and provides each student with her cell # if needed. If you don't do the work or ask questions, you cannot fault her for your failure. DO the work, and you will earn a good grade.

Online class during covid.3 Speeches and writtn speech(covid special). Speeches are easy to get A on if you reach out to prof for revision. Very caring, lenient. Easy class but online session not what speech class should be, felt I missed out on something. Gave covid extra credit and was considerate during lockdwn.

Great professor! you will have 4 to 5 speeches for the whole semester not including small speeches. I would say that this class was difficult because I don't like public speaking but you will learn a lot about public speaking from this class. Also, take this class if you want to improve your public speaking.
