The class is not as easy as people think. It requires understanding the material, not simply memorizing it. The labs are relevent but quite boring, and she is hardly ever in the room during the labs. She is not very punctual, always late, especially to morning lectures. All in all, good teacher.

Good teacher but she admits that she does not write her own test questions because they would be way too hard. Well last semester so many people said that she was easy that she wrote her own final this semester. It was ridiculous -class average was D! Much of the class lost a whole grade point.

I'll admit, I went into this class with a chip on my shoulder. I didn't see how Zoology related to an intended major in Food Science. That didn't stop me from learning (and in some cases relearning) from her. I really liked her sense of humor. She was always approachable, and was willing to help out on the aquarium scavenger hunt. Thumbs up.

This is a hard subject, period. You have to work, read & study. Professor Eckerman is a GREAT professor. She knows her stuff, will help you in any way possible & rounds your grade up by 2%. I was failing in the beginning, and have a B now. Upper division science classes are hard, if you can't handle it, then re-think your major!

She is very nice woman with a good sense of humor. Her tests are not that hard but you need to make sure explain concepts on the test like they are stated in the book or you will loose points on tests. She does take a while to grade which the main downfall. Give you the lab exam slides in advance so you know what will be on the test.

Professor Eckerman is wonderful. She has a great sense of humor and is very helpful. Biology is not an easy subject, and she tries to make it as as possible. Take advantage of her office hours and ask her what she is looking for in the concept, it will make your life easier. You're in for a treat, her class was the most fun i've had.

Pamela is a great prof. A&P is HARD but she wants you to do well and gives the tools to do so. You get CH objectives, lab objectives, exams slides, and many labs are open study periods. Also max 30 pts extra credit. Show up to lecture, go over notes, read textbook, make flash cards, DON'T wait until the last minute to study! A&P is not for slackers

If she tells you thats all you need to know, THATS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW. Do the objectives&study her slides. A&P is all about memorization, so dont blame the poor, old lady on your bad memorization skills. Shes old so I can see why people say shes rude, but shes not THAT bad. This is coming from someone who doesnt even talk to her, yet I did ok.

This class is not meant to be easy. You must read the book, re-write your lecture notes right after class, make flash cards, charts and not only memorize, but UNDERSTAND the material. She gives you lecture and lab objectives which should be your primary focus. She is a very fair grader and if you need help, all you have to do is ask.

On the first day of class, she said "I hate teaching anatomy and you won't like studying it either." Do you really want such a professor who doesn't like what she is teaching? Choose someone else. You need a good professor who is inspiring and loving towards the subject matter. Otherwise, class will just be a pain instead of something enjoyable.

Fair and understanding professor. If you answer the study guides somewhat thoroughly with the textbook and lecture notes, an A is within reach. Lectures are never too boring. In the end 10 students dropped and 4 or 5 got A's. ECabout 2% and she curved an extra 2% on top of it. Final was very difficult so get your grade up before it comes.

AVOID this professor. The tests need more questions, it's almost like a quiz you get a few wrong you failed. She also splits the test taking on separate days. It's multiple choice, short answers, and lab stations. So that you are already learning something else and it gets confusing. The test labeling is not clear when pointing to an anatomy part.
