She is a wonderful teacher. She is very helpful and is very patient with all her students. i reccommend her. she's a little weird but it puts a smile on your face at least.

This was the best hybrid class I've ever taken. Mrs. Sanchez doesn't mess around. She seriously will teach you what you need to know for English 1A. She let me rewrite a paper but made me work on activities before she let me rewrite. I learned how to fix my mistakes in my papers and got help in lab.

Professor Sanchez is a great professor. Her class is a bit challenging but she goes through all assignments and makes sure they are understood. You can also always email her for further direction if needed.

Prof. Sanchez is an expert at teaching Englilsh. She knows when to be strict and when to ease up and offer help. If you don't do well in her course, it's you own fault. She does everything she can to enlighten her students.

Professor Flory-Sanchez has to be the best English teacher I have had at that campus. When it comes to her assignments, she covers them from top to bottom so you know what has to be turn in and how it should be. I completely recommend any student to take her class

I have take Professor Sanchez twice during my time at Moreno Valley College. Her lectures require you to pay really close attention to understand the homework material. The two classes I attended were hybrids and was really easy to understand. Her feedback on your essays really help to understand the areas that require more practice.

Hybrid class only meet once a week but was straight to the point, doesn't mind helping, great teacher and experience over all. Will be taking another course with her soon!

THIS WAS MY FIRST SEMESTER AT COLLEGE, SO OBVIOUSLY IT WAS ALSO MY FIRST HYBRID CLASS. MRS. SANCHEZ MADE ENGLISH FUN AND EVERY MINUTE WAS WORTH LEARNING. CLASS WAS NEVER BORING BECAUSE STUDENTS COULD RELATE AND PARTICIPATE WHENEVER THE TEACHER GAVE LECTURES OR EXAMPLES ON THE BOARD. EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES ARE GIVEN AS WELL!

This class was worthwhile and I related to Professor Flory-Sanchez and the way she teaches. I learned a lot and understood her teaching methods and creative style. I was never bored. I wish she taught 1A because I would take it for sure!

I liked Professor Sanchez as an English professor. She is helpful and gives great feedback on how to improve your writing skills. She does give out homework, but just enough to keep you busy. She also gives out extra points and works out ways to improve your grade. She is talkative but it is relevant to the point she is making. I would take again.

If you know what you are writing about, this is the class for you. She is an amazing professor. She enjoys descriptive papers, which is my type of writing. Easy A if you are passionate in your papers. I received As on all 4 papers. She recommended me for honors.

A really great class!

She does tons of talking and definitely issues a lot of assignments but her instruction is clear and she is very generous on her grading. She'll tell you areas you need to work on and if you work on them your grades will improve, if you don't she'll notice it and your grades will be marked lower

Professor Sanchez was one of the most interactive helpful instructors I have worked with. She was always there with feedback and would have a positive attitude while teaching. Very funny and gets straight to the point. Would recommend.

P. Sanchez gave great feedback on all my essays I have turned in. She noticed that my weak spot is sentence fragments, suggested online activities to better my writing, and it helped very much! She gives LOADS of extra credit which brought my grade up 3%! She's a fun teacher, passionate about her students, and will give you a grade you deserve.

You have to write a lot of essays and readings. If you don't like scary/horror films I don't recommend it.

-Must earn your grade. -The profeasor is really helpful. -lots of extra credit opportunities. -About 6 essays including your final. -Expect homework every week. -Paper about stephen king. -paper about terror movies(will be required to watch terror movies) -Overall, if you do your work and ask questions you'll do fine.

Professor P. Flory-Sanchez is a great English Professor. I was expecting this class to boring but the professor made the class very interesting with the poems, plays and short stories that we read. I would definitely take her class again, she's awesome.

As long as you show up and turn your work in you will pass this class. She grades leniently as long as it is clear you've made an attempt, are absorbing the material, and aren't plagiarizing. You WILL be reading a lot, but never large pieces, and it is all super interesting. It was hybrid, so time managementkey! Great teacher!

This was a great fast paced class, she will really make you think outside your box & you will learn so much! I love english, she is a great teacher. We read quite a bunch of interesting stories. The hybrid class was good to keep up with. Don't miss since we meet once a week, you will fall behind.

You are going to read A LOT in this course. The readings are really interesting and she is a very open minded professor. This course was hybrid, so the homework was flexible and i enjoyed that. She is a very nice and good professor and actually encouraged me to read more.

Let me start by stating Professor Sanchez is by far the best English Professor I've taken. I took her English 1B Hybrid Course during the Winter session so it was fast pace. You do use the textbook so make sure you get the book. She gives clear instruction and is very thorough. She is very nice and the class isnt boring ! Take her !

The order of tasks helps me with time management and build upon the last assignment.I must say that the Final is most insightful because it includes an academic journal. This lead my paper in a different direction. Having the final paper due after the power point presentations is a plus. This professor is awesome!

I wish I had this professor for Eng 1A! For critical thinking, I still knew the how I stood and what was to be expected. The material is broken to better take you through the thought processes. Professor Flory-Sanchez is an excellent professor!

Prof. Florez is an amazing professor!! If you're taking either English 50, 1A, or 1B, take her! She is extremely passionate about every topic you cover and has fun and constructive ways of assigning homework. I've never been interested in literature, poetry, screenplays, etc. But she re-engaged me with it all, & I'm going to miss her tremendously!

Took her for an accelerated course and it still did not feel like the end of the world because of all the homework. She really wants you to learn and pass her class, gives you options for prompts for the essays and is always look the make class interesting for her students. Makes you work for the A but it's possible, you don't want to fall behind.

This was an accelerated class so there was a lot to do in a short amount of time but the way she has it set up it all flows together. She is funny and always willing to help. Excepts late work for full credit and gives lots of extra credit. Don't miss a class though or you will get behind.

I took this class online due to the pandemic and I enjoyed the class through online. Do get the textbook because you will use it a lot and there is a lot of reading. Professor Sanchez is an amazing professor I took her accelerated course and wow she's just amazing how she teaches. She lets you turn in late work without deducting points and she grades your work within the same day the longest it took her to grade something was a day. If she marks you down on points you can fix it for full points.

She is so sweet! Lots of assignments but she will give an extension/help if you communicate. All English courses require reading, but her material is bearable. Because of her willingness to help, it makes class easy.

I took a hybrid English 1A course with Professor Flory-Sanchez. She was a very good teacher. She also understands work life balance and will give you opportunities to turn in late work. She also offers extra credit for people who show up to class. You can get a jump on the following weeks assignments and knock it out in class!

Took her Hybrid late-start course and found it very easy! We meet once a week. All of our work was done online, other than having a group presentation. The lab for this course was SUPER EASY!!! There are 3 papers, weekly labs, and quizzes. 100% RECOMMEND TAKING HER!!!!!
