Sanchez is a wonderful instructor. She has an outgoing personality which can be seen in her style of teaching. The textbook isn't necessary at all. Expect to have a great semester. I highly recommend her for Eng 98 or Eng 101!

From day 1, I knew she was going to be a great instructor. Definitely taking her next class. She brushes up on areas we have trouble on and has many examples to look at.

She is a fun teacher to have. Gives a lot of work but also provides extra credit opportunities. She is flexible and changes the amount of work when assigning papers/homework; so you want to give her your full attention when she's speaking.

Professor Sanchez is a good English teacher. Whenever she assigns a paper, She will let you work on it in class and give you idea on how to start your papers and what she is going to look for. The first time I met Professor Flory-Sanchez, I thought she was some hippie that was just going to bust my chops; I also wasn't taking her or her class seriously. After I realized that she wasn't just a cool hippie, but a down to earth and understanding individual... I focused more on her class and started to pass. She's an amazing professor.

I took English 101 with her expecting it to be difficult during the summer. It was an easy class, she makes it possible and easy to pass. She gives many opportunities for extra credit. There are a few papers we wrote but she always made sure we understood what we are doing and gives us time in class to write our papers. Overall, very easy to pass!

This professor did multiple assignments and reviewed many sources in order for one to create one amazing paper at thee end. Work has to be turned in on time. Attendance is a must.

I took this teacher during the summer semester. She spends a lot of time working 1 on one with her students to make sure that they pass the class. She allows one rewrite on a bad paper. She is very interesting and keeps class interesting. I would highly recommend taking her.

Very nice professor. Taking English 101 with her was a breeze, easy work if you simply do it. Tons of research-based essays. Gives a lot of extra credit, gives tons of feedback on your writing comprehension, gives chances to turn in late work and is an overall laid-back professor.

Awesome easy class. Lots of busy work. Tells you exactly what she wants in her essays. shes also funny not boring at all. I took english101 with her and would recommend to anyone coming out of high school . we did about 4 easy essay that were worth most of your grade. quizzes were taken all together and could do it over again

P. Sanchez was great. There were a lot of presentations and the work was broken down into manageable parts, so it wasn't as rough as a typical English class. But you will learn a lot. She's also really funny and has a very quirky personality, so it's engaging and makes you want to listen to her. She'll challenge you to improve your writing too!

I took English 101 for spring semester with professor Sanchez. She is an amazing teacher who cares about the students. Unfortunately our class was moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic but professor Sanchez took her time to explain everything in a way that we understood. She really cares about the students and she wants us to pass the class.

I took English -101 with this professor during the Covid season. She was really understandable if you had late work, but she definitely gives lots of homework. She is really sweet and nice, definitely will take another class with her.

Professor Sanchez is amazing!! She is extremely caring and really wants you to understand the material and pass the class. She responds quick to messages and has a very structured class, each assignment builds on each other.

Professor Sanchez is thorough with her lectures and no question is ever stupid. She never shamed people for asking questions or for help and always gave great feedback on papers/homework. The only thing she's "strict" about are the formal papers and class does have a lot of homework but she is understanding of people's schedules (just talk to her)
