Professor Koch was the WORST professor at GVSU. I am a student with a high GPA quizzes are seriously impossible and even though I read thoroughly through the chapters didn't get more than 40% on quizzes each time. Lots of papers, homework, reading cases and large group presentation. She treats this class like it's your only class and overloads you!

She overloads you with readings and homework. Huge paper wasn't difficult, but was very very time consuming. If you have a large course load, I'd skip this class. She treats you like you're in middle school (activities and games galore). Quizzes on readings sucked, and they were really difficult. If you like your social life, don't take this class.

By far the most unorganized teacher I have ever seen. It's sad watching her attempt to teach this class. She has a rough time interpreting her own notes for each class which is concerning for a student paying to take this. Despite teaching a class with zero structure and direction, she is very passionate about it and will grade you without mercy.

AVOID THIS PROF! Koch is the worst prof I have had in my four years at GV. Her grading scale is ridiculous. Literally no one ever got 100% on anything. As an accounting major I thought I had a lot of work in those classes, this class surpassed those classes. Get ready to do an individual project that will take you close to 20 hours to complete.

Worst professor I've had in my 3 years of college; she should be teaching at all. Material is conveyed in a very haphazard way, most of the class never knew what was due or when, and she constantly blames the class for being 'awful and not paying attention' when any questions are asked. The class could have been great, just don't take it with her.

Uhm lets just say, three weeks in and I already know she's the worst professor I will ever have and ever had. She is insane. She talks extremely fast when lecturing so you don't catch everything. Sooo many projects and papers and so much reading to do. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Save yourself the work and grade.

For a class that shouldn't be difficult she gave us the most work I have done in my three years of class. The material is very boring and I did not do much. I would avoid her at all costs.

Big Group Project with tons of busy work that she doesn't make clear what she is looking for. Unorganized and seems to be nervous during lectures. Quizzes EVERY CLASS. Tons of reading. She is very knowledgeable about the material, but doesnt convey it to students well enough to understand it fully. Material is fine, but take it with someone else.

She is kinda neurotic, if bluescape (be prepared to learn it) doesn't cooperate or work how she planned she gets stressed and it very noticeable. She is a nice person but an awful professor. I think she just teaches this one class and is really proud of it so she puts everything she has into it which puts more on you as a student. Stressful exectiv

This is the worst class I have ever taken. She has an unrealistic expectation for how time we have. You spend all semester talking about GLOBE Dimensions and doing a group project on it. The project is long and takes a lot of research (like over 20 sources). Everyday you are suppose to read a wall street journal and have a quiz on it.

Near tears from both frustration and anger, Professor Koch looms over the shoulders of every student in her class as they try to do her unrealistic amount of work for a three-credit course. She is nervous and unorganized during every class and will give you a quiz over a WSJ. Everything you do is subjective with an unknown grading scale.

DO NOT TAKE!! This is the worst class I have ever taken. Prof Koch talks a million miles a minute to the point where she can't breathe. She looms over everything you are doing and can't explain things at all. The amount of work you have to do for this 'elective' course is absolutely ridiculous. I would never recommend her to a friend.

NEVER TAKE HER!!!!!!!! I'm not questioning that she knows the material, but she is TERRIBLE at conveying it. Not good at answering questions. (Just says "ya know"... NO I DON'T KNOW THATS WHY IM ASKING) Assigns WAY too much for a business elective course. Please don't make the same mistake I did... take ANYONE else.

DO NOT TAKE HER! I went against the advice on here thinking that it would be biased, but I was so wrong. She is so unclear on what her expectations of assignments should be. She makes her mind up on grading on the spot for a basis on "making her life easier". When asking her a question to clarify, you end up more confused then you were before.

This class gave me so much anxiety. She gives quizzes almost every class period over the readings. It seems as though half the time she doesn't even know what she is talking about and the group project is horrible! Probably took my group 20+ hours. Take another class if you're able to!

Do not take this class with this professor. She screams at students in her lectures and does not realize students have other classes to work on. Only reason I took her class was that it counted for 3 Seidman requirements, but going back I would have rather taken the extra classes. The worst professor I have had at Grand Valley.

Professor Koch fails to understand appropriate course loads. Her classes require more work than most capstone courses. She is an extremely strict grader, and you will not pass if you miss class because she is so lecture heavy. Pamela Koch can be disrespectful and ignorant to her students at times, cutting them off before they can finish ideas.

Wow, this was the hardest class I've ever taken. She goes way too fast, is all over the place and gives out an impossible workload to keep up with your other classes. HIGHLY suggest taking someone else is possible.

Professor Koch is very unclear in her grading. Her classes are pointless yet she marks you down heavily if you are not there. The only reason people take her class is because it is required.

Class is made up entirely of 1 giant group project which she grades very harshly. She marks down attendance for every class. She uses so many platforms of communication its so hard to find announcements, documents, or specific information. There is a quiz due at the beginning of every class period which is based off of several readings.

The class is very unorganized making it extremely difficult to meet all her requirements for the group projects. On top of the class being unorganized she is a very harsh grader and isn't consistent with her grading. There are quizzes twice a week and you also have to read a lot for this class.

This class is unrealistic. There are two quizzes a week and you have to read like 100 pages for each. Her lectures have nothing to do with the outline/handout she gives you. If you aren't a genius good luck. There is a HUGE group project. She acts like you have no other classes. If you don't need this class, don't take it. 10/10 do not recommend.

Worst professor I have ever had. She is extremely unorganized. There are two quizzes each week, usually 10-15 minutes, which you will have read for hours to prepare for. She will give you minimal feedback and if you ask her questions she will either not respond or be annoyed. I will never take a class with this professor again. Good Luck...

Awful teacher. So much homework and reading. She doesn't have structured lectures at all if seems as if she is just talking about countries randomly for this class. I learned everything myself. You have no idea what to take notes on because she rambles and she doesn't post and notes. Hard grader.

BY FAR the worst professor I have ever had. Uses multiple applications to post hw and projects which makes it very difficult to find out info. Extremely unorganized,unclear, and is rude when you ask questions. Honestly think she is crazy and she should probably not be allowed to teach at GV. Spent hours working on projects just to get poor grades.

The worst. She giver terrible lectures, graded things super strict. Huge group project that was over 40 pages. Exams are super hard. Shell ask you to write a 5 paragraph essay on something she mentioned one time in class. Exams are 40 mc, along with over 2 full pages of writing. Avoid at all costs

Honestly just the worst professor out there, I cannot stress it enough. She gives a ridiculous amount of reading for the week, and her exams are nearly impossible to finish on time. I regret taking her and this class.

Everybody save your time and do NOT take this class. Yes, there are good reviews about her but you better be her favorite to get a decent grade in this class. She is horrible at communication and does not care about her students at all.

Assigned more homework than both my upper level accounting courses combined and most of it is useless the course is just overstuffed with filler information and the exams are awful. She tries so hard to make good test questions that half of them don't make any sense. She tests on the most obscure information too.

SAVE YOURSELF TIME!!!! She expects so much from all of her students, with it being the first semester online she made it so difficult to navigate coursework through bluescape. I ran out of time on the final because she gave 4 essay questions on top of a bunch of multiple choice. Not to mention she gave -2 points to my group on our project.

On top of two quizzes a week which require a lot of reading, in class group work, and a huge group project this class is way too much work. She doesnt give clear instructions for group work and seems pretty confused a lot of the time. She has unrealistic expectations and her exams are actually pretty difficult considering the content of the class.

This class was one of the most difficult classes I have ever taken. Tests contain the most obscure information and she does little to prepare you for what is actually on them. Youre required to do 2 weekly quizzes, Read one chapter, read 2-3 articles, watch a 20 minute video, and complete a group assignment each week. If you value your time, skip!

The worst class I have ever take here. Way too much assigned in a week, her lectures are awful, her tests are ridiculously packed with so much information. I was really looking forward to this class and it was miserable. Awful organization, the group project requirements are RIDICULOUS along with all her assignments. 0/10 recommend.

Probably the worst prof I've had at GV. There is an unnecessary amount of work, and 1/2 of it does not contribute to what you actually need to know. There are 2 quizzes per week, both are oddly specific, so if you do not read everything and memorize it, you will not get an A. The group project is ridiculously long. Be ready to work all the time

If you are a full-time student and also work full-time stay far away. She must think that we have all the time in the world to focus on this class that's filled with useless information. Have fun reading for hours every week, two quizzes every week, test with obscure questions, and a huge group project. Good luck this class is as much work as 12 cr

DO NOT take this class with Professor Koch. This was by far one of the hardest classes I've taken and it was an elective. She uses bluescape instead of blackboard and it is the most confusing difficult to use site ever, there is no course content on blackboard. I am an A+ student and care about my work, but she is absolutely the worst teacher ive had at GVSU. You have worksheets and quizzes every week, on top of studying for tests and doing group and individual projects all at the same time. Big workload- you learn everything outside of class & expects u to know it in class.

This class was by far the hardest class I have ever taken. The workload is insane, you have two quizzes due each week along with two worksheets due before each class period. Also the exams I have never once finished in the time that was given. After each exam she goes over it and degrades anyone who does bad saying it was an easy exam.

Might be the worst course I have ever taken at GVSU. There is an absurd amount of work every week, I spent more time in this class that my 4 others combined. She has not a clue in the world that this isn't our only class. She refuses to use blackboard, so you use 3 other confusing sites instead. Avoid this at all costs. 0/5

Koch understands what she is teaching. She does not understand that this class is an elective. While she is available to answer questions she does not understand her criteria in grading. The amount of work in this class is way overboard 2-3 assignments a week. 2 group projects that require hrs and hrs of work which I don't believe adds to the class

Absolutely not. I have never disliked a class more. I am genuinely confused how she could even have one nice review. This class was more work than all my other 4. I dreaded going to class. I liked the material, just not her teaching it. I did not think it was possible to dislike a class so much. Tests are 10x harder than expected. So much HW. Nope

This professor is HORRIBLE. She uses a bluescape instead of blackboard. She provides a ridiculous number of worksheets and readings. She does not do a good job of teaching at all. She does not care about her students at all and is disrespectful. She is also a tough grader. DO NOT TAKE HER AS A PROFESSOR!!!

Class was tough. She grades really hard, loads us with lots of quizzes and tricky projects, especially using Bluescape, which makes teamwork a pain. No study guides for exams, so the tests feel super long and tough without any prep. It's not making the learning experience any easier. Her notes she takes on bluescape for class are not neat.

DO NOT TAKE this professor. She uses Bluescape instead of Blackboard and there is a quiz every single class period and they can really add up if you do poorly. There was not another professor when I signed up for this class and I wish I would have just dropped the class.

One of my least favorite classes I've taken at GV. Have to watch and learn all the lectures by yourself outside of class, and take a quiz EVERY class time. She also grades super difficultly. 0/10. Would not recommend.

In-class quizzes every class period that is not related to the lecture video and or readings. The professor talks to no one and rants about the same thing every day rather than doing activities and work to help reinforce the material. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS UNLESS YOU ARE FORCED TO.

Professor Koch was truthfully my least favorite professor I have ever had. Quiz everyday at the start of class, busy work, and ridiculous group projects that were not even useful in the slightest. If it wasn't required nobody would take this course. Pamela has 0 excitement and is terribly rude to students as well, If you can get out of it I would.

If you do the work she assigns, you should do well. However, much of the learning you have to do on your own. If it were not for the note sheets allowed on the exam, I would have done poorly in the class. The teacher talks very fast, to the point of being audibly out of breath. The group project requirements are intense and bluescape is horrible.

Professor Koch is super nice, but has a hard time giving direct answers to questions which can be frustrating. A lot of class time was spent listening to her talk in circles. We were assigned a massive amount of reading and homework on top of four exams, a weekly quiz and a semester-long group project. You get to use notes on exams though.

This class is mostly busy work, the professor is a good person and the work is easy but three exams along with a final, 2 weekly quizzes, and personal class work as a team is just too much for the type of class that this is. If this class doesn't triple dip for your major, don't waste your time trying to complete the massive amount of required work
