Mrs. Lamb is the greatest math teacher ever. Very easy,nice, and clear to understand. Statistics might not have been the easiest class if I didn't have Mrs. Lamb. Mrs. Lamb really cares about her students. If you need to take Math 240, I would most definitely recommend taking Mrs. Lamb.

Makes hard material easier to learn. Has wonderful handouts for each section that are very clear which allows you to watch her solve problems and not have to take so many notes.

This is the second section of math I have taken with Ms. Lamb and as before she is wonderful. She is very helpful and wants to see you do your best. I intend on taking another one of her classes in the spring.

A good teacher and a very nice lady. Takes plenty of time to explain the material. Open book tests and very little homework.Only problem is I got an A but don't really know anything about stats.If this is a class that you will use and not just a "requirement" then you might want to take someone a little more demanding.

AWESOME! She made plenty of handouts and made sure that you understood before she moved on. I might not every use the info again, but she made learning it very easy. If you need this class don't even bother getting the textbook. All you need is a copy of the front and back inside covers. She makes everything easy to grasp.

This is the BEST Math professor I've ever had. She is not strict at all and thoroughly explains everything and is very good with helping her students to understand the subject. Not strict on attendance. Only graded on I believe 6 tests- very easy class.

She wont call on anyone unless they raise their hand, which is great to me because I get nervous. You dont even have to do homework if you dont want, and tests are clear and to the point. Professor Lamb is a lovely woman. She is kind, a good teacher, and she is always there and will open up in a heartbeat to help you learn. She was a wonderful statistics teacher! She was always very understanding if you didnt understand something. All her tests are open book open notes but you still have to come to class to learn the material. You can't rely on your notes to reteach you the material on the day of the test it is best to use your notes as a reminder. Know the material:)

Pam Lamb is the best math teacher I have ever had. This was the first math couse I have taken in 6 years, and I have a 100 in the class. She lets you use open notes, cheat sheets, and even gives take home tests. She explains things clearly, and gives really excellent handouts.

Super nice teacher! Expensive calculator is required but all tests are open notes and open book (although I only used the book for tables). She said attendance is mandatory but she's ok if you miss 2 or 3 classes; it's to your benefit to be there to get the notes though since the tests are open notes. She WANTS students to pass the class! Take her!

Amazing woman. I have a very hard time with Math. She has changed my life and I'm not afraid of Math anymore. All the tests are open note or open book. She also gives take home tests. Register for her class early, because it fills up fast. She is the best teacher at JSarg by far.

I finally understand it, i always knew I wasnt the problem but the way previous teachers were throwing it at me.Took her for 3&4 and will take her for 163, and 240. Very helpful teacher! I have always had trouble with math but with her as my teacher I can actually make sense of it! You will have to work on your own some and practice problems but she gives GREAT handouts that are easy to understand. She gives tests wanting you to do well not trying to confuse you... definitely recommend her!!

Instructor Lamb is awesome. She is very easy and does try to give many opportunities to bring up your grade. She doesn't tolerate a lot in he class though. I personally thought she was easy to understand, but I heard some complaints. I guess it depends on your learning style. Every class is crucial because you don't want to miss out on taking notes

She is the best instructor. She is always there to help you. I went to her office frequently to get extra help and clarification. She is extremely organized and well versed in the subject. I have taken MTE3-8 with her and will pick back up with her for Pre-Calculus. She doesn't tolerate a lot of nonsense in her class which I like.

Ok so If I ever have to take any more mte classes, and I do, I will take them with Ms. Lamb. She is sooo great!! I love the fact that she stands in front of the class and explains every step. She also gives you shortcuts to doing some problems. With her as the instructor you should have no problems passing any MTE course!!!

Ms. Lamb by far is one of the best instructors I've had. She is very helpful, offers extra credit before tests, and is very nice. Her tests can be a little difficult at times and are not always in line with her notes, but as long as you pay attention and try you will do just fine. I've had her for 3 different courses at J. Sarge. Passed them all!

Easy Stats class. Take good notes of the examples, especially for the last two tests. Tests are open book open note. You don't really need a book for class, just print of the tables off line. I didn't study at all or do a ton of the homework and ended up with over a 100. Definitely recommend!

BEST MATH TEACHER AT SARGE HANDS DOWN. I've taken her a couple times and will be doing so again. She teachers so clearly and is very organized. She's always willing to help. Take advantage of her office hours if you're struggling because she's more than happy to help.

She was a great teacher for someone who knew the previous steps before you actually start solving. Was very quick in writing and solving the problems. Will answer questions if you have them. I needed someone to take it a little slow so I could grasp each individual steps.

I have taken Pam Lamb for MTE 1,2, and 3. I plan to take her for any other math courses that are available to me because she teaches math so it actually makes sense. I always barley passed a math course but this one i should end with a high B and the fact that it was a precalculus course... YASSSS your allowed to bring a cheat sheet, she makes things super clear. If your already enrolled with another teacher for a precalculus course DROP it and enroll in hers, you will come out of that class successful.

TAKE HER! I took her twice and will take her a third time. She lives up to her reputation. Gives great notes/handouts and is willing to go over every problem and answer every question anyone has. BUT I feel like some people in the class showed up expecting to be given a passing grade. You still have to do your work. You have to earn your grade.

Professor Lamb is an excellent statistics teacher! She will prepare you for the the tests and even offer an extra credit worksheet before the test date. Homework is optional but will help you get ready for the next test because she will go over every question the next day. This professor wants you to do well! Highly recommended.

Such an easy class. I took it in summer to transfer credit back to JMU got an A on everything. She lets you use cheat sheet on everything and makes the problems very simple... Only downside is a wasted $30 on textbook because I didn't use it once

Professor Lamb is the best math teacher I've ever had. I took her through MTE2-6 and then took her for my Statistics class. She made the subject so easy and I'm not a math wiz at all. If you want an easy A or even an easy passing grade then take her. Make sure that you sign up for her quickly though. Her classes fill up fast.

Professor Lamb is the best math teacher I have ever had. Her way of teaching is so simple and easy. She is very hands on. The only way you would fail her class is if you don't come to class. I have her for MTE 1-4 and I would recommend her to anyone. SHE IS THE BEST. Nothing is never confusing with her and she is always there to help.

Professor Lamb is helpful and will work with you when you ask but you do have to put in the work for the grade. Gives extra credit before each test so I recommend doing them since they are similar to test questions.

I don't understand math any better than I did before, but she made it very easy to pass and do well. Homework is not checked but you should do it for the extra practice (unless you hate it, like me). Each of the 4 tests has a 5-question extra credit sheet, and you either get to take some/all of the tests home or use a cheat sheet. Highly recommend.

Great professor but you need to put in effort to understand the subject since she does not repeat herself a lot. you do NOT need the textbook, just ask someone to xerox the charts from the appendix and you're good!

I hadn't taken a math class in 20 years. Material was presented in a way that made it easy to understand. She covers material FAST and doesn't really go back. Come to class, pay attention, do the optional homework and you will pass. Test questions are taken straight from the homework and extra credit handouts. I didn't use the book at all.

Mrs. Lamb is amazing, she really cares about your success, I always went to her office hours and she was happy to help. The only bad thing I have to say about her is she is monotone, so bring coffee with you. Tests are straight forward, right off of the extra credit worksheet. For each test (including final) you can have a full front and back personalized cheat sheet to use. Before every test she gives an extra credit sheet and you can recive up to 5 points EC on each test by completing it. Highly recommend!

I took MTH 154. She's legit. She lets you bring a cheat sheet on every test AND the final. She gives you a 5 question extra credit sheet before every test. There are 4/5 test in a semester then the final. This is the easiest math I've ever taken. As long as you show up and do the cheat sheet you'll be good.

Easiest A I've ever gotten. I would highly recommend her. She gives you extra credit, gives you a practice test very similar like the real test, lets you use cheat sheets for tests, and she even goes over the extra credit and practice test the day before the real test.

Prof. Lamb was an amazing professor! As somebody who was nervous about taking Statistics, she made my experience a breeze! I ended up with an A+, and I'm somebody who has never been good at math. Her class is solely made up of lecture everyday, 4 tests, 4 Extra credits that correspond with the test, and a final exam.

She is the sweetest lady you could ever meet. I hated stat until I took this class, she makes the subject so easy to learn and understand. She is super caring about her students and you will regret not taking her class because she makes it so simple! Absolutely love Professor Lamb!

She was a great professor at Reynolds Community College. I had her for precalculus and got an A+ and Im not the best at math. She is willing to meet one on one with you and you get extra credit and sample tests that she went over the day before the tests. The sample test were nearly identical to the regular tests. Overall a very nice lady.

I took Professor Lamb for Statistics MTH 245. She made it very easy as she provided videos of her teaching the material & gave examples. Also provided notes for you to print off and have while doing your homework & tests. If that wasn't enough. She held zoom meetings during her office hours for students to join if they needed help. Highly recommend

I was worried about the Statistics class, mainly because my family told me how difficult it was when they took it back in school. But, this class was an absolute breeze. All of the tests and homework were open note, and extra credit was given in every unit. Mrs. Lamb explains the material very well and holds office hours throughout the week.

I got an easy A because of the easy lectures and extra credits. At first, I thought I would be at the tutoring center every time but went there a few times but statistics was very easy.

This professor is the BEST! She teaches at a good pace and takes time to answer everyones questions. She provides lots of office hours and answers emails quickly. The homework and test problems are basically identical to the ones worked through during class. I highly recommend taking any math class with Professor Lamb!!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!! Math is my worst subject so I was dreading this class but it ended up being my favorite class. She broke down everything so well and slowed down if you had questions. She did a ton of example problems instead of just reading off slides so we could see HOW to do it. I don't have a single bad thing to say. TAKE HER CLASS!!!

I haven't taken a college level math class in over 20 years so was very nervous to jump into statistics. Professor Lamb made this class such an enjoyable experience (and I HATE math). She takes things slowly, builds on concepts from one class to the next, and provides great examples and handouts. Highly recommend you take her!

Professor Lamb is very knowledgeable about the material, and her method of teaching is super effective. She is always ready to answer any questions you have. There's plenty of extra credit and the homework is rather light. It was a very easy class, and no textbook was required.

Professor Lamb is amazing! If you struggle with math take her class! She provides great lectures and notes. Her class consists of 12 graded homework assignments, 4 tests, and a final exam. She allows you to have a cheat sheet and gives extra credit before each test. She is very laid back and nice. 10/10 recommend.

Best math teacher I've ever had! I am someone who was not good at math, but she makes it easy for you to understand. She's so sweet and patient. 4 tests and the final, 12 hw 10 of the best are graded, extra credit, and allows a study guide/cheat sheet before each test. Take her! I feel so confident with math now! Professor Lamb is actually the BEST math teacher i've had in Reynolds. She teaches her classes very good and she have no problem going over the same problem 1000 times so you can get it.

Straightforward lectures, no busy work. Offers extra credit and "cheat sheets" to prepare for tests. Take notes during lectures, do all the assignments, and you'll get an A. Best math class I've taken.

Professor Lamb, make sure you understand the math assignments. There are several extra credit assignments. She makes herself available in case you have any questions or concerns about a paper. She makes you feel comfortable while in her classroom. If I had to take another math course, she would be my number one choice for the course. Laid back vibe

Was a very clear teacher. She provided videos of what was discussed in class in case you missed anything or needed help remembering what was said. She is open to office hours which is very helpful.

As long as you watch the online videos, you will do fine in the class. Everything was on a PDF (homework, extra credit, tests), and we had multiple days to finish it which made it easy to get a good grade. Response to emails was very timely and it made for an enjoyable experience.

Her name is fitting she is an angel. Made math super easy to understand. Her tests matched the material she was teaching us so we were never blind sighted. She was understanding and worked with us who struggled with math.

Professor Lamb is everything you would ever want in a teacher. She is kind, easy to follow, talks in detail, has many review sessions and gives you the best study guides. In order to fail this class, you would have to just simply not try even the slightest bit. I wish she taught every calculus class I have to take. She is a miracle professor.

So good I took her twice! During her lectures it amazed me how she could write continuously from one end of the whiteboard to the other without stopping. She didn't assign a crazy amount of homework and it was all on paper (preferred). She has study guides available for each test before you take them so you know exactly what you'll be walking into.

Professor Lamb is a very sweet and caring professor. I will say sometimes the lectures can move pretty fast so PAY ATTENTION. As long as you pay attention, do the work, and ask for help when you need it, you will be fine. She lets you use cheat sheets on the tests and exams which is very helpful, and the tests are identical to the practice tests.

Great teacher, but does go pretty quickly so you have to keep up. Don't worry though, if you miss something she posts the class lectures also on Canvas so you can look back on it. Cheat sheets are good to use on every test as well and has practice tests that you can use to study that are just like the actual tests, just different numbers.

There's a printout for every lecture. All you have to do is follow along the lecture. Statistics is hard but she gives you every step, VERY organized. Lecture, notes, homework, extra credit, practice test. She could not make learning the material any easier. It would be helpful if she wrote the correct answers or where you went wrong on homework.

I think Professor Lamb did a great job in teaching precalc 1, which I took during this semester, wish I could have her for the other math classes which I will be taking during college because her style of teaching is the best. I was a type of person who never really liked math, but she made me enjoy each and every moment of it.

LOVED Professor Lamb. I struggled with math in highschool but she makes learning so easy. All you need to do is print out the handouts and follow along in lectures, she'll answer your questions and explain things to you. She even posts videos of her completing the test prep so you can follow along. Wish I had her for my other math classes :(

I CANNOT recommend this woman enough. Math has always been difficult for me, but she made it easy. She records and posts lectures so you can go back & watch until it makes sense. Beware that she isn't great about answering emails & isn't the most tech savvy, but if you can catch her in person she's super helpful. She's also plain sweet & funny.

I HIGHLY recommend Professor Lamb so much that I am taking her stats class after taking pre calc with her. She is amazing and her lectures are not heavy at all. She has homework after each class/lesson that is a few questions long and she gives extra credit papers for each test and you even get to have cheat sheet front and back for the test!

Sweet and creates a non-stressful class environment, doesn't incite anxiety, even if you're bad at math. If you can't do math by memory you can write formulas/where to use them on the cheat sheet and bring it to the test. Goes fast but lets you take pictures.
