Extremely funny teacher. Goes off topic at times. Uses her family for stories. She gives no tests in class until the final. Very easy test. Hardly touches the textbook. I love her, if she taught other classes I would definitly take her classes, even if I didn't need them for my major. That is how good she is. You will always want to go to class

Awesome Professor! Very helpful, & explains in detail. I Love Her. She made class fun. Very down to earth and understands her students. Is willing to go out of her way to help you! The only way you can fail this class is if you just don't show up. Doesn't have a lot of tests. Everything common sense. I DEFIANTLY RECOMMEND THIS PROFESSOR

She's an awesome professor to have and inspires you to do well in her class. The assignments and tests are very easy, a quick skim over your notes will help you out a lot. Very nice teacher, is always smiling and makes you feel comfortable. The only big thing your going to do it a career project that's a power point presentation and is easy. She gives feedback on all of your essays(which was no more than 2 and no more than 1 page required) I would recommend this teacher to anyone I know. Just show up and take notes.

The BEST super nice cares about students very clear with instructions. She definitely likes teaching stories are very interesting. 10 question quizzes after each chap common stuff. If you pay attention show up and do some quick studying yu will pass with an A. If you fail then there's something wrong with you

Professor Mason is AMAZING!! I love her class. She emails you all the powerpoints that you iwll need for the entire semester and goes over it in class. We have class discussions and also she discusses the powerpoints. You don't have to take notes. You don't really need the text book just make copies of specific pages. And you have a major project.

She is the best ever. i highly suggest her. we never has tests only quiz and they are super easy

Dr. Pam is a great teacher! She tends to ramble on a bit and get off topic but the class is super easy. Tests are only ten questions multiple choice, if you talk to her she will help you with whatever you need! Def take her!

LOVE Her! She is super. Sweet, bubbly, crystal clear, helpful and inspiring. I wish she taught more classes. She does 10 q quizzes after every chapter, but nothing that wasn't covered. Keep you're eyes and ears open, she often gives clues to quiz questions.

Professor Mason-Egan is the best Professor at Palm Beach State. She is passionate, knowledgeable, well-prepared, and caring. Great lectures and class involvement! Other Professors at PBSC should have to attend her classes to learn how to teach properly. It was an extremely pleasure to be in her class.

Mason-Egan is like an angel. She speaks clearly, responds quickly, and makes you laugh with her stories. Do not buy the book, especially new. There are copies in the library.

Pam is an exceptional professor. She is very clear and concise, and although the class can get boring because SLS1501 is a pretty easy course, she tries to make it fun with videos and worksheets. She uses mainly Powerpoints, and emails you constantly so you never forget an assignment or quiz! TAKE. HER.

I got a 99% in the class. Enough said.

She is very helpful, and she's always there for her students. She makes the discussions mean something. They're very inspirational. Definitely take her for SLS; she will open your eyes to many different things. She is always happy and cheerful; even when she's having a bad day. She relates lessons to real life situations.

I was not looking forward to taking this class, and had a negative outlook before taking it, but since then i really enjoyed her class. i would take it again lol. shes very nice and outgoing. there are not many test. very relaxed easy class. just show up, listen, participate, and you will do well. This course isn't hard but it is required for most first time college students. She is nice and will help if needed, but it's mostly an information course. Just show up do all the homework and assignments and you'll be fine. If I have to take any classes that she teaches I will take her again.

I have nothing bad to say about her. I would take her for many more classes. If you take her, try your best to be on time because she doesn't like tardiness. I wish I could take her for many more classes. I would recommend her to all of my friends.

Professor Mason-Egan is a professor who's born to be a professor. She knows her stuff, and will make you understand the material through various methods. She is very friendly, so you can talk to her anytime you need anything. Easy A, and this class helps you learn about yourself and the college experience. Definitely recommend her.

Took Professor Pam for my first year and I can't say enough great things about her as a individual and as a teacher. She gives you enough information for you to pass her course. I love Professor Mason-Egan! She is the best SLS teacher on campus. In class she goes over a PowerPoint about the lesson in the book, and explains what the chapter is about. Pamela is an amazing women who loves her students and her job. She gives very easy work with reasonable deadlines. If you need to miss class for any reason, understandable. A+!

Ill take another class of hers in a heart beat. I took her college prep class because it was mandatory but it turned out to be a great experience. She helps find and define your college goals while keeping the class fun. Not much else to say.

I enjoyed Professor Pam's class so much, I even thought about taking it further to SLS 1201 sometimes soon before I transfer. Prof Pam is understanding and UPBEAT, I really enjoyed and learned so much on success in SLS 1501.

Very nice and easy class

as long as you fill out all the blanks in the handouts and read the chapters this class is very simple. tests are multiple choice. she is very caring and understanding. if i had to take sls1501 again i would sign up for Professor Pam faster than lightning.

She's an amazing person inside and out. I'd take her again. She doesn't really require the book, most things are common sense. Participation is sort of important. She speaks a lot and people find that overwhelming, but I personally like it. She gets to know you on a personal level.

Professor Mason really knows her stuff. The course work is extremely easy as long as you have common sense. She presents powerpoints in class with short videos to help you learn. She cares about her students and makes everyone understand. You really don't need to show up for class because she is so easy. On the final exam you can use your notes.

This professor communicates well, vey understanding. As a college freshman, she's guided me through a process that I thought would be difficult. She gives material to help through your journey, responds to emails in a timely manner and you can go to her with any questions and 98% Of the time she has an answer for you.

Super easy class, the homework takes all of 5 minutes to do, usually just fill in the blank worksheets which go with a video . Class is mostly class discussions and in class projects

Prof. Pam is wonderful. I felt right at home in her class. She was very encouraging and really cares that students learn in her class. She goes above and beyond for us. She doesn't require that we buy the textbook, it is available at the library. Her class wasn't difficult but made you think about your life. If you take her, you won't regret it!

Its an easy A but also her class is interesting. You wouldn't even want to miss her class because she teaches it well and its an overall great class. I have no complaints whatsoever. If for any reason you forget to hand in work she excepts it late with only minimal points taken off but you'd still end up passing. she's very nice as well!

This was a great course to pick up for my first semester of college. Really puts you in the college mindset of how to learn using the best techniques possible for yourself. It goes over various memory, note-taking, reading, and social life skills. I would recommend this class to anyone, honestly. Professor P is a great professor. Don't hesitate.

This class mainly talks about life as a whole, you interact with your classmates when doing work at times. The online homework that she gives are not hard at all (a couple assignments).

Prof Pam was my first professor I've ever had, and she definitely made a great first impression! You have to think outside the box for this class, and if you ever have any trouble she will do her best to help you! I would 100% take her other class which is SLS1201.

I love her. She was great. I was actually really sad that because of quarantine I couldnt spend longer in her class but she was a gem. I truly looked forward to her 9AM class. I loved going there and I took personal development so it was a lot of contemplating and looking inward and she taught me so much about life and whats I value. Truly amazin

I definitely recommend her! She is one of the best professors because she is very understandable and super nice and sweet. Takes time to converse with the students and her assignment schedule is great. She is organized and shows videos in class that are inspirational. I also took her class remotely and it was very simple.

I had professor egan for fall 2020 and we would meet up on blackboard collaborate, her lectures were fun and entertaining but we did a lot of group projects in class which is fine but not everyone participated as much. The assignments were very simple and not too crazy. She's very sweet and very entertaining.

She is a teacher that like to connect with her students and like to keep things simple but you will be watching a lot of ted talk videos

It was my first semester in college, and she's been so helpful with certain things regarding my major/career. She was caring when I had to miss class due to valid reasons. I hope to take her in the future again, I enjoyed this class.

I am currently enrolled in Dr.Mason-Egan's SLS1501 for my first semester of college which is why I don't have a grade. My current grade is a B, so with that being said she's a GREAT teacher, she's funny. She's the best professor I've had so far!!!!! LOVE HER, Would def take again.

She is very kind and understanding. I would def recommend her class, but it is very boring and repetitive. The things you learn about are things you already know, so the class is extremely easy. Honestly I don't think it's possible to fail.

Easy class. Do all of your work! Professor doesn't take late work, but the work is easy, so it shouldn't matter. Do not take the class if your schedule is crazy because there is a lot of assignments.

Professor Egan was great. She was always there to help you if you had any questions even if it wasn't about the class. If you do all the work you will receive an A. There is no midterm just a final. The only reason I did not receive an A was because I forgot about an assignment. Im sure she would have let me had more time if I asked.

TAKE HER!!! This is an easy and enjoyable class with a very kind and caring professor. Do the little homework she assigns and you'll most definitely pass with an A. This class will teach you about college in general and you will also get to learn about and explore the campus as a class.

You will have to purchase mind tap because all of your assignments will be assigned on it . However, the class is so easy and basic common sense. Just show up and turn and the little amount of assignment she gives you and you will pass. The only test we have is the Final Exam and dont let it get to you it will be cake. Highly recommend!!!

Prof.Mason-Egan was an amazing professor. Her class is very easy overall, and the lectures were fun. The only downside I can think of is that most assignments were through mindtap. Assignments though, were very easy and fast. She is also very compassionate when it comes to grading. I highly recommend taking her if you want to pass with an easy A.
