She’s a great teacher very helpful and very clear though the lectures are sometimes boring. The material can be difficult and the online homework can take hours. There are a lot of quizzes and 2 projects one of which is a group project. Make sure you set aside plenty of time for this class if you want to do well.

THIS CLASS WAS BASICALLY OUT OF THE BOOK. IF YOU READ THE BOOK YOU WILL PASS WITH AN A+. IF YOU SLACK OFF THEN MAYBE A B OR C. SHE IS REALLY NICE AND VERY COMPETENT IN THIS FIELD. SHE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS WITHOUT HESITATIONS, SHE KNOWS HER STUFF. OH AND IF YOU TAKE HER CLASS(ES) TRY NOT TO WALK OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF HER LECTURES ITS RUDE.

She is very experienced in the field and although the lecture ties in with the book going to clas actually helps see the point of things. she works over problems so that you can better undertsand the accounting process. She is reasonable and lenient, so this class is easy. The final isn't necessary. Before tests she lets u kno exactly what 2 expect

Her class is a little on the boring side, but she is a very good teacher. I wasn't sure what to expect with accounting, but she makes as easy to understand as possible.

Prof. Ude is very cool. I'm so glad I took accounting with her. i learned alot. She explains the material very well. She is very helpful. She prepares study guide & tells you what expect on the exam... Highly recommended.Easy A as long as you do the H.W and the quizzes and the rest of the work. ALWAYS GO TO CLASS.

She is awesome. Class materials are straightforward. She is good at expalaination and teaching. Online homeworks and quizzes. Exams are fair. Homeworks are big help for exams. A lot office hours for students. I take her for Acct 4A&4B.

I liked her a lot. She had an open mind and was really friendly. She knew the material and taught it well. The tests were not too difficult. You guys should take her if you need this class. Yeah, there's a lot of new materials, but she's really good at teaching it. I'm planning on taking her again for ACCT 4B.

Not my favorite lecturer, but if you participate in class and she gets to know you, she is more understanding if you are having a difficult time. She's genuinely nice and wants students to do well.

Well what you put in is truely what you will get out of this class. She is a reasonable instructor, but the material itself is quite boring. The only thing that pissed me off were the wiley questions because you could not directly refer to your text book for help...and you have to wait until someone responds to the discussion bored for help.

Hard class to begin with so attendance is a MUST. She is a great teacher but has some PMS days. Offers study guides which help A LOT and tells you what fill-in problems will be on the exam. Drops the lowest of 4 exams (including the final) so, if u're happy with overall grade u don't have to take the final.

Course is easy if you read the book and do your homework. Attendance is not required. She had a very organized schedule and stuck with it. Overall really easy i recommend her.

You need to put in a lot of effort with this class. She is very nice and tries hard to get people to participate. Stay on top off all the homework and quizzes (there is a ton) and you will be fine.

Overall was a good teacher that explained the material good. Wiley homework and tests big part of grade. One thing though is that she really likes picking on students and putting them on the spot. Calls on students every class meeting.

Do the hw and quizzes in wiley and go to class. I did bad on all of the exams and still managed to get a passing grade. She is a great teacher but i'm not an acct major so I didnt have much interest in the subject.

She's a good teacher, but the class and material is so boring and dry that I just stopped attending after the third week of school. As long as you read the chapters and understand them on your own, there's no point of going to class. I only attended on test days and did pretty well in the class, so attendance is definitely OPTIONAL

Not to hard of a class it was okay if you stay on top of homework and quizzes and understand and read the chapters, attend class lectures she takes role, do projects it takes time but a big part of grade which usually brings grades up, tests are not hard overall great professor.

Do all the assigned work, and attend every class. I would recommend this professor to anyone. It's a good learning experience.

Her class wasn't too hard, just have to read the assign chapters and understand them, and attend lecture so she can clarify the new sections, tests were okay from book and lectures, projects took too much time but brought grades up, lowest test scores dropped online hw and quizzes

I am not a big fan of accounting in general. Her class is do able. Homework is done on myaccountinglab.com. Her quizzes are not that bad. However, the down side is that she does not provide a study guide. She just tells you "study chapters 1-5 learning objectives 1,2,3 etc." It was a drag this class should be a 4 unit course.

Her lectures seem like they came straight from the book, her examples definitely did. I didn't use the book at all this semester. Do all the hw, show up on time, and earn extra credit for attendance. She drops the lowest exam. If you like your grade at the end of the semester, you don't have to take the final!

Didn't go to class. I searched online materials for the course and studied that instead of the book. Make sure to do all the online homework because all those points add up. Didn't do so well on the group project but that was okay. Passed with a B. I'd recommend taking Ude over Copland for Account4B.

Her teaching method is fine. She provides helpful examples and explains her lectures very well. The only BIG thing is that her attitude really sucks. She will put people on blast and make you feel stupid sometimes for not knowing the material as she expects. There is one group project, 3 tests, final is optional depending on previous tests, and hw.

Prof. Ude knows how to teach. She knows her stuffs. Class is okay if you go to class. Don't have to read the book. I passed class without reading the books. Everything counts: homework, learnsmart, project, test. The learnsmarts are easy. Homework and tests are hard. You spent about 1-3 hrs on the homework.

Lectures were not all that interesting however it was fairly easy. Three midterms and one final, however you can drop the lowest grade and that includes the final. Expect to spend a good hour or two working on homework assignments and learnsmart. One group project with group members of your choice and the task is to create a 5-8 minute video.

She was such an excellent teacher! I was pretty upset that I was not able to get her again for acctg 4b! She explains the material well, but you do have to work to get the grade you want (which is no problem for me). I highly recommend her.

Professor Ude is an excellent teacher and is willing to help students who are struggling. She gives a study guide with everything that will be on exam just make sure to attend test review and you will be fine. I had previously taken Copeland for Acct and let me tell you she is horrible at teaching the material compared to Prof. Ude.

The class itself is pretty hard but I really like her as a professor. She is very nice and really wants you to pass. Grade is mostly based on tests but you get to bring a whole size paper cheat sheet in. Homeworks are pretty hard but she will help you. I would definitely take.

Ude is very straight forward with her lectures. It's thorough and clear. She gives examples to help you with the homework. In order to pass you must push yourself to read the learnsmart & do the homework, roughly 2 hours long. Tests you get cheat sheet and drop one: hint use the study guide. one group project. best to show up daily.

Attend class and pay attention to the examples she works through. Good pace and makes things easy to understand. There is a lot of homework but its the normal amount for an accounting class and she responds to any questions about homework. 1 exam score is also dropped. Would take her again but I don't have to because she helped me finally pass!

Professor Ude is great. Her lectures are helpful and the examples she makes you do are so helpful for the homework and tests. I skipped class a ton and still passed with a B but I would recommend going to class and participating in the examples

The class is not hard, all you need to do is go to class. There are three exams and a final. If you do well in all three exams you don't have to take the final. There is one group project and Pearson homework. Overall easy class, just go to lecture and do hw.

I thought i would fail but do the best you can on Homework and the modules you will do solid. I had a 64 twice on a test and a 48 on one of them. I got a C and accounting is definitely not my thing. You can pass this class with a B if you take really good notes in class and write down the examples for the study guide.

Professor Ude is a great professor and teaches the subject well. Accounting is definitely not my strong suit so the class itself was hard but Professor Ude herself is a great teacher. 2 hw assignments each chapter, 3 tests, and a group project. I'd recommend her. If you do good on the three tests you don't have to take the final.

Accounting itself is very complicated but Professor Ude does a great job at thoroughly explaining why things are done the way they are. Most of my learning was done from doing all the homework on mylab, but her lectures did help.

Not sure why Professor Ude has such a bad score on here. Yes you have to show up and participate in order to pass but she truly does care for her students and was a lot better then the Professor I had for 4A. Two assignments a week that arent time consuming and mandatory lectures.

Don't be intimidated by the reviews on here. I went into her class terrified, but she is actually a really good professor. She gives 3 exams using lockdown browser and sometimes lets you use notes. I actually enjoyed her class, and learning about managerial accounting, Take her!

Loved Prof. Ude! You really don't need to read the book. She lectures on EVERYTHING that will be on the test. Her study guides are very helpful and you get to have a page of notes for every test. Plus, if you complete all the HW you get a few points of extra credit. 3 exams and a final, but if you have an A, you don't have to take the final.

Fall 2021, I understand everything she says and she explains very clearly. I was satisfied with my 3 test scores so didn't take the final. Study every topic, after you finish the Dynamic Study Modules and Homework. Best if you could write the ones that you aren't familiar with. So, it would be easier for preparing notes for taking to the exam.

Professor Ude is very sweet to talk to. Overall her class can be difficult if you don't show up to class. Study before exams and do not be afraid to email her any questions she is very quick to respond. I barely passed and the final is optional if you happy with your grade. Three exams, homework twice a week, one final.

She does an amazing job if you pay attention in class. She gives examples that are similar to the tests. She allows for a page of notes and attendance is mandatory. She is always willing to help if you have questions even outside of class. As long as you actually try, she makes sure that she does everything in her power to get the material across.

I found this class to be easier to understand than 4A. Attendance is graded, but lectures are pretty easy to follow if you pay attention. One page of notes allowed on exams, and you don't have to take the final if you are happy with your grade at the end of the semester. She makes it clear that you can't pass this course without participating.

Attendance is graded at the end. She is a very straight to the point professor. She does short exercises in the lectures from the book which helps. She try to get everyone to participate and involved to understand the material. It's always reminded if you don't come to lecture you won't pass.

If you take her class, you will do good as long as you pay attention and ask questions. She is very straight foward and does in class exercises. She also does office hours, which help if you are having trouble with some of the concepts in the class. Attendance is mandatory! It is graded and plays a huge part in your grade. Make sure to have notes!

Preferred this class over acct 4A. She's not a power point prof & I love that! Does short exercise that help with the homework. Allows 1 sided sheet of notes on exams & you don't have to do the final if you're ok with your 3 previous exam scores. I definitely recommend her!

Professor Ude is great! Lectures are interesting and she actually teaches, I barely passed ACCT 4A but found this class pretty easy. Would def recommend taking Professor Ude.

Prof. Ude was among the best professors I had the privilege to be taught by. Provides E.C periodically. The material was relatively easy, explained during lectures clearly, and provided individual feedback on in-class activities. Attendance is graded.

I don't know who these people are who give professor Ude anything less than a 5/5 rating. She cares about her students and wants you to succeed in her subject. There are 4 exams including the final, one of them is dropped and you get an 8.5x11 sheet of paper for test notes. Would recommend!

Prof Ude cares very much about you understanding the concepts. Would walk around during class examples to help those who don't understand. The formulas provided are exactly what's on the test. There are no surprises on the test because the class examples help you calculate the less wordy test questions. Do all the HW and an A is easily attainable.
