One of the best professors I've had. Enthusiastic, intelligent, very knowledgeable, very helpful... I can't say enough good things about professor Wilson. She cares about her students. If you have a chance to, take her class, it may just change your life!

I took one of her Russian Lit. survey classes, so it was very small, but she was excellent. She was so understanding of any problem you had, and she was always really well prepared. If she wasn't, she'd organize a time to get you the materials on your timeframe. Plus, she's ridiculously smart.

Very nice and helpful when needed. Is not crazy about citations, just wants you to have them. As long as your grammar is not totally in the toilet you'll be fine. She focuses a lot on the content of your writing... she wants the subject matter to be interesting. If you can pull that off than you'll get a good grade.

She is a wonderful teacher. I had so many English professors before her that made we hate the subject, but after I took her class. I loved it again. Attendence isn't exactly mandatory by her, but it's a bad idea to miss too many classes. Her class is slightly challenging, but she takes your other classes into account. Take her class, please.

She was odd at times. The assignment seemed more like busy work. I don't feel I learned a lot in the class. She would always brings things up that we weren't required to know and therefore confuse us. It felt like we spent 4 weeks on the same stuff because she felt that we weren't ready to move further!

Her class was pleasurable. However, do not underestimate her, and if you have a love for literature and urge to better your writing you will get along well with her and approve her teachings. I am shocked that she received any low ratings, Professor Wilson is great and has both sass and class!

She's unbelievably kind. Though she does have some faults as stated by others on here, when she walks through the door smiling you can't help but just want to apologize for thinking ill of her. She's very helpful and clear when you're having trouble with something. Her class discussions are really interesting and fun, too. I loved her class !

Professor Wilson will have a job wherever she goes. She has a natural cunning and beauty that commands respect and attention. Shes also wicked smart and extremely empathetic when appropriate. The workload is reasonable, tests are okay (study), homework is reasonable, discussions are interesting. I highly recommend her as a professor.

Professor Wilson is awesome. She's not only gorgeous but she is also nice and helpful. The class isn't hard, but you will have to do your work. Professor Wilson is NOT a pushover. Most days we read and work on essays. She makes you want to pay attention because of the interesting things we do talk about.

she is an awesome teacher. she dresses nice too. she is very clear in her lectures and def knows what she is talking about. she is the coolest and even lets u turn in assignments late. very understanding teacher. we had to write alot of different papers but to me that was ok cuz it gave me a better understanding of the topics and the class.

I take mythology in her class. It was very interesting and easy. She was talking about sex half the time relating it to the myths.

I enjoyed her class and the discussions were awesome! She made me feel comfortable but I was still challenged and was not too strict about being a couple min. late. I agree with most other people and you will be happy for being her student.

Prof. Wilson is so enthusiastic about what she does! She's wicked smart and presents the information in a really clear and concise way so that everyone is on the same page, no matter what their writing level. She's always smiling and doesn't easily get annoyed. She always has interesting things to say about current issues.

shes a fun, perky teacher who will mostly help you out if you speak with her personally. She is very polite and VERY easy going. she doesnt stress about late work.

I think that this term was a bit hard for her, since her father was very ill, and he lives far away. But if you are ready to think and learn, you will love her classes.

Our Mythology class was tough but exciting. prof Wilson will really change the way you think. You don't have any work that is not covered thoroughly in class, so if she deviates sometimes from the syllabus, she will always make it right. I absolutely recommend her.

i wll never forget this professor. She made vocabulary and reading actually interesting. The tests were even fun. they only covered what we did. we also had a lot of great presentations and readings.

Prof Wilson has an excitement about her, it makes you want to learn. This class teaches you about thinking, logic and writing. I loved researching my paper; she gave me great help. She is clear about her expectations, and we had great discussions in class.

Note, people... this is same prof as Rachael Wilson bc her name is pamela rachael. She LOVES literature and she is REALLY fantastic at making YOU love it too. She is soooo qualified and smart and just a beautiful person. I was interested in lit. before but after her class maybe I will major in it .

This professor is fantastic -- but not for everyone. She is incredibly knowledgeable, makes class exciting. But she expects you to act like an adult, keep up, and she wants to to care about learning more than grades. If you trust her methods, you will learn so much. I HIGHLY recommend her, but not if you want to be babied!

I took Prof. Wilson for intensive summer 101A. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so good at teaching, i learned about myself and my writing. She is educated and funny and will go out of her way to be helpful and understanding. I don't know how she manages to make class fun but she does.

I never had so much fun in an English class. Prof Wilson makes "rhetoric" totally fun. By end of class I ended up w 25 pages written - I didn't even realize I did so much work. She's very clear in her assignments, but gives room for creativity. if you do what she asks, you'll learn how to write and research and argue like a pro. I loved the class.

Womens Studies is the second class I have taken w the beautiful wonderful Prof. Wilson. She says she wants to open your eyes and she does. I am a guy, but now I understand why there needs to be Women's Studies. Homework is doable. Even tho we read some hard stuff, it's not too much. She is also a seriously a cool person and role model.

She makes you love english literature.

This prof goes by RACHAEL Wilson, I guess she has two names. I LOVED my english 102 class with her. She is VERY smart and interested in you and wants to help you. Also you will NEVER fall asleep in this class bc she is incredibly lively. I would take MANY MORE classes with her, but alas I am graduating this semester.

Professor Wilson is a fantastic teacher and a great person. She is very good at helping students to understand the material. She is also very kind, fair, and amusing. She always made the class laugh but she was still able to keep everyone on topic. I believe she really does care for her students to succeed. Highly recommended.

Mindblowing class, take it. She's the smartest & most passionate professor I've had. Best class ever, changed my outlook majorly. Doesn't give too much homework, but readings are complicated sometimes. She grades papers on thinking , not taking off for little mistakes. One test. Accepts late work, lets you redo papers, gives EC options. Take her.

This class is reading the Bible as literature. I was amazed how interesting the class is. And Professor W. knows so much, and knows how to handle discussion. Lots of reading and careful discussion of text, but the class is still low pressure and fun. 5 thinking papers and a final paper. I'd recommend this class and this prof to anyone!

Bible as Lit. gave totally new ways to look at the Bible. Prof Wilson did a great job handling the different views on religion in the class, told us to step back to look at the texts as literature and history , so the question wasn't whether its a true or not. I got a lot out of this class. Lots of reading but the work load was reasonable.

She had a family issue that distracted her from class, so I don't know that all my feedback is relevant to every semester, but her class a lot less structured than I would've wanted. I felt like she shut down students a little too quickly. That saying, she is very enthusiastic and friendly.

Prof. Rachael is a perfect teacher for ENGL245, Bible as Lit. Clear as crystal with expectations. Lots of reading, but no busy work. Knows everything. She's so excited about the subject, its hard not to get excited too. Treats us like people, not babies, and takes our ideas seriously .I would recommend her class a million times.

Professor Pamela who is known as Rachael Wilson is my favorite teacher of all time. Her classes always are fun but you still do a lot of work without realizing it. Gender Studies was an excellent class, and very modern. Not too much work. Fair grader. Keeps and open mind. Take her!

I took English 102 class, luuved it. Prof. Rachael is relaxed but gets you to learn a lot. I liked writing my paper because she helped and was so excited about my subject. I would advice to take her class

She was one of the best Professors i have ever had. She always tries to get your attention to class. If you go to class and just follow the instructions, you will get the grade that you deserve.

Super laid back professor. She wants her students to get good grades. Perfect ENGL102 professor because ENGL102 is HARD but with her it is an EASY A or B. Good person with a good heart. I didn't really learn a lot (or show up a lot, or pay attention a lot) but I got an A! I think 90% of my class got an A or B, and my class SUCKED! Love her.

She makes English class so fun! She makes sure you're engaged, but at the same time, everything we do in class was interesting already. She is an easy grader, and she gives a lot of extra credit. We don't get any feedback on our work until the end, but she definitely prepares us well for our portfolios. Take her - you won't regret it!!

She is a very nice and caring proffesor. She doesnt like when people say I am not good at this because she believes everyone can do anything. She respects every student. She understands when people are struggling and tries to help them as much as she can. I love her. she is the best. And she isnt a hard grader do everything and youll be fine.

she is the sweetest professor I have had so far. she cares about her students and helpes them as much as she can. she mostly focuses in the final paper but she also focuses in other several papers too.

What I enjoyed most about Professor Wilson were the laidback lectures. Also, I was nervous about going into college English because my grammar was never the greatest but she helps build your confidence in writing. I'm taking her again for eng102 and I can't wait

I had her in ENG101A and ENG102, She is a caring teacher, she is really nice, and cares about her students. She will give you enough time to get your work ready with no penalty. I got a B on ENG101A and an A in ENG102, and 102 was way too harder. Take her, you will definitely pass her class! THE BEST TEACHER EVER !! Do not hesitate to take her !!!!

Professor Wilson is one of the best professors! She actually cares about her students and want us to succeed. She gives extra credit and allows you to turn in work late , which has helped me a lot! She is very understanding, just dont take advantage of her kindness. I have no complaints, her lectures do go off topic, but I enjoyed them!

I enjoyed having this professor. Had her in person for ENG101A and switched to virtual for ENG102. Keep in mind some professors teach way better in person than virtual. She is very kind and gives tons of extra credit. She appreciates those that participates so please do. Was never good with writing til I had her class. Definitely recommend!

She is a really nice person. Take advantage of the extra credit if I would have taken, I would have had an A. Also you need to really think about how you write you papers, essay, but at least she gives you a hand. Most important grade is Portfolio!! I would like to take a moment to say if you see this, please rate your professor. It really helps.

This Professor was really awesome. She was very helpful in and out of the class. She responded to messages quickly even on weekends. I took her class for both ENGL 101A and ENGL 102. She was always ready to help and she makes sure everyone in the class was paying close attention by calling on people randomly to read from the screen.

The only way to fail is if you quit on yourself. She holds your hand (literally) and guide you through each paper, extends deadlines so you can submit your late assignments, and even give extra credits. She is responsive out of the classroom as well. I would recommend students choose Professor Wilson.

Hands down the best Professor. Extends deadlines for assignments, extra credit, walks you through all of your papers, clear instructions, and accessible outside of classroom. She is too kind.

Professor Wilson was amazing. She guides you through everything, and she was SO easy to reach outside of class. She even met with me on Zoom late at night sometimes to revise my paper because I would be so busy during the day! She is SO caring and gives excellent feedback. PLEASE take her class!!!

The professor is very caring and is very accessible for zoom calls. There wont be too much homework and there's also lot's of opportunity for extra credit. I will say the lectures are a bit dreadful. Attendance is mandatory and she also likes when her students participate. She will call on you at random so it's best to stay awake in her class.

Good professor but I was always a bit in the air about my grade.. she takes forever to grade things and put them on blackboard.

Professor Wilson is nice and caring. She guides through every paper that we do for homework. She grades everything closer to the end of the term where you can revise for the portfolio. A little funny at times but overall good class. Recommend taking her.

Professor Wilson is so lovely. Her instructions of each assignment are clear. Just something that she likes is your participation to give opinions or your participation to read something on the board.

Professor Wilson is great, I got an A- there is many extra credit opportunities. only 5 points of extra credit though. A tough grader, you can easily get an A/B if you do the work and extra credit. Attendance is mandatory, you can ONLY miss more than 2 classes. I will be taking her again for English 102. She does grade everything towards the end.

She gives good feedback overall. Very easy professor and very easy class to pass. She does come a bit late sometimes, and sometimes had to cancel class because she said she had some personal thing going on with her husband. But overall good professor and I would recommend her.

I took her Summer class. She reduces the workload so there are not much essays. Her lectures are great, very detailed and slow enough for freshman. I read a cmt said that she was rude to foreign students but it wasn't right (bc I'm an international student and she's very kind to me). Really accessible outside class (she encourages us to meet her)

Very patient about literature and is open to helping students outside of class and review college essays. She gave good insight. Unfortunately, our class was over zoom which was not preferable, but I would recommend taking her class.

The professor is genuinely nice and gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. She knows how to explain concepts and the rubric clearly, but she can get off topic during her lectures sometimes. She's also very approachable and supportive.

Pamela Wilson is a kind and understanding professor who offers plenty of extra credit opportunities. Her detailed feedback and flexible deadlines make the class manageable. unstuck AI is a great study tool alongside her guidance.

At first, I thought she was a great professor—clear, polite, and easy to follow (especially for immigrants). But as the semester went on, she stopped replying to emails and Remind messages, which became frustrating. Grades were also not posted until the very end, which made it hard to track progress. Her grading is also very strict.

Professor Wilson is sweet, knowledgeable, and very lenient. She will meet with you on Zoom if you need help and gives good advice that does help with your grades.
