A lot of people don't like him because he can be confusing but besides that he's a great teacher. He assigns a lot of papers but what else do you expect it IS an English class after all. His way of grading seems fair you can receive a B if you try and revise. He's there if you need him and likes to be involved. Great teacher.

He seems to be confused most of the time. It is his first year teaching, our class feels like he is experimenting on us. He tries too hard, his actions come out weird. Class is boring and akward. He needs more practice in teaching, because the infromation is unclear and you dont know your grade until the last day of semester.

He's a great professor, those that complain about him probably expected an easy A. He's very passionate about what he does and I personally found his papers great. If you want a GOOD COM teacher take him. But if you take him be prepared to actually DISCUSS and not just sit there rolling your eyes. The class isn't awkward, the students are.

Really a great teacher. He is so passionate about writing and is willing to do all he can to help his students. This class is not hard at all, but you have to put the work in. Participate, come to class, do your work, and revise your papers and you will get a good grade and a lot out of the class.

Panshula is without a doubt a very caring and helpful instructor who truly is passionate about writing. His class was not hard, but you do have to do some work. He is EXTREMELY willing to help you. If you put in the effort, you WILL get a good grade. His assignments are different, but they do prepare you well. Over all, I really liked&recommend him

Panshula is a very intelligible professor but he is not a teacher you want to take for an easy A. He assigns numerous assignments all that regard the environment and grades them VERY hard. He can tend to be boring but he gives you everything you need and can be extremely helpful when confronted. You could earn a B- at best with very minimal work.

Very intelligent teacher, I enjoyed the class very much. Some of the course work can be kind of difficult at first but if you actually listen to what Panshula is saying it becomes a lot easier

Great teacher overall. Is always willing to help, gives very good feedback, and allows you to rewrite each exam once if you don't get the grade you want. If you can, however, avoid his environmental themed class if you really aren't into the environment. While the teacher is good, the reading is not. Would still highly recommend taking him.

One of the most inspirational professors you will come across. Very professional, yet hipster in a way! I learned SO much in his class about writing. I ENJOYED going to class. Gives very good feedback on papers and preps the class in the best possible way a professor could. The final is a short essay about your reflection of the class. TAKE HIM!

Awesome professor! As long as you're willing to learn you will do well in his class. He's extremely helpful & doesn't even move on unless the entire class understands. And he does an "Audi" award ceremony to vote on best papers at the end of the semester.

Ganeshan is the best!!! He's the most laid back teacher! He's really funny and is constantly joking around. He always has music playing. He's a really good professor. I got an A on every single paper. He gives you thorough directions and walks you through everything. He really cares about his students. Doesn't require a book. TAKE HIM!

Professor Ganeshan was a HUGE inspiration for me this semester. He is passionate about what he teaches, and takes pride in his students becoming better writers. Mostly all homework is essays (it is a writing class) but he gives WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH time in class to finish them. He is crystal clear on what he wants from the assignment with a rubric

His instructions are very clear and allows you to re-write any papers you did bad on. Warning: He makes you write a lot about the environment and nature so if that's not your thing then stay clear. Also he's super hot.

Pan the man is an amazing teacher, because his feedback in very helpful and straight to the point. He understands your writing and really shows that he cares. Even outside of the classroom he'll greet you. Simply very chill, yet informative.

Panshula is funny and creative guy. He was always so willing to help his students out to become better writers. Assignments werent boring at all and he makes the class fun and entertaining by engaging with his students. I would definitely retake his class again, easy A but effort needs to be put in. Plenty of time before an assignment is due!!

Panshula was great. Super easy. I got bored often, but it was an easy A. Super nice guy but very environmental focused. The environment focus only lasts for about a month so its tolerable.

Mr. G is the best COM teacher, hands down. He keeps you busy with papers during the semester but is always there to help you along the way. He genuinely cares about how his students are doing. You can rewrite some essays to get a higher grade but the second time around he's more strict. Very laid back but doesn't allow disrespect

By far my favorite teacher I've ever taken at moraine. He's the funniest guy ever, he really does care about his students. He makes sure you know exactly what he's expecting out of you. He lets you revise your papers for a higher grade. If you have questions he doesn't blow you off, he walks step by step with you till you get it. TAKE HIM!

Chill dude. I've taken him for Com 101 and 102. While I've never particularly struggled with writing, I found his classes relatively easy. He can be a tough grader, but gives very clear guidelines and lays down what he expects. He is very understanding and meets students at their level.

I absolutely loved this class. We only had about 4 papers to write. He gave more than enough time to complete them and gave super clear instructions with exactly how he wanted it set up. He's such a cool and laid back guy. Also his required "book" is like 4 dollars.

Professor Panshula is a very funny and chill instructor. Do your work and you will get the grade you deserve. He helps and you can re-do your papers. He's here to help and teach his students. Will definitely take again.

Pashula is easily one of my favorite professors at Moraine. He is so funny, and is super nice. He is very understanding with any situation that comes your way. You can correct any of your papers that you wrote, so he clearly cares about your grade. He has a very down to earth personality, and is always super cheerful. Highly recommend him!

i am soooo happy i got to take this professor before i left moraine. yall need to take him because hes worth it. He's great because he makes his class fun as heck (lol) and is serious at the same time which every teacher should do. 3 major papers and that it and for the final we can participate playing b-ball with him. He's really passionate about his work and it shows. He wrote the textbook and only charges four dollars for it, answers e-mails quickly, is always willing to stay behind with you to go over your work before you turn it in, and he allows revisions on already graded papers. You'll really grow as a writer in his class, highly recommend.

I 100% loved this class, as one of my first college classes i had no expectations of having a good time while learning, but MR G made learning fun! I learned so much in his class and became a better writer & everyone in my class was a joy to be around this summer! I would 100% recomend!

There are few professors here at Moraine that truly deserve a 5.0 rating. Professor Panshula Ganeshan is one of those elite few. He's hilarious and serious. He's light-hearted but passionate. He's what I would aspire to be if I become a professor someday. His personality plus his brilliance in composition is a match made in heaven. TAKE HIM!

Gives great extra credit opportunities. Really caring and will do anything for you to succeed! He grades fairly, but not too tough. Don't drag the 10 page exploratory essay out at the end and you'll get an easy A.

He relates our discussions to real life situations which help you understand what we're talking about even more. He cares about his students and wants them to become great writers. This teacher restored my faith in education. While he is a polar opposite of me, it never affected our relationship. We lead very different lives, but he never judged or made me feel guilty about it. My grades and feedback were based solely on my work. Everyone could learn from him.

Pan was the coolest dude ever. I never felt so comfortable in any class before this one. There are 4 papers throughout the entire semester, but they are all easy and you can correct your essays for credit back. His book is self-made and only like $3. Highly recommend this man. AMAZING!

My favorite teacher I have had so far at Moraine Valley. He is always in a good mood and really makes class enjoyable!! I absolutely loved this class. He sets you up PERFECTLY for papers he wants you to write. There are clear guidelines and I usually hate COM classes, but this one I truly enjoyed. He defiantly sets up students to succeed!

You wont regret taking his class, hes the nicest guy on the planet and the papers you will have to write reflect that completely. You will have a lot of laughs and fun in his class, he makes sure to be bright and kind but also reads the energy in the room so if everyone is tired he will make it a chill day and push a due date back, for example.

Professor Ganeshan deserves an award. Professor G is the most kind-hearted professor that is very understanding and is always giving you feedback on your work. He gives you a chance to revise you work and is always open to giving you a better grade every time your revise! He is also very relatable and makes you feel like he's a friend. I RECOMMEND.

Mr. G, is the greatest. I wasn't sure about him at first, but after watching how he taught his class, I had a different opinion. In his assignment he taught us about finding the right reliable resources. He even gave me another chance on my paper when I didn't do Good on it and guess what I had a 90% on the make up essay.

Prof G is literally awesome!!! He is a great professor and very knowledgable. Would take him again in a heartbeat. My favorite of all time!!!!

Taking professors G class for com 101 was the best decision I could have ever made. He explains his assignments and essays in a clear way for his students to understand. His class is easy, and if you do all your work and give it your best I can guarantee you can pass with an A.

I think Mr. Ganeshan is a great teacher. His lectures are easy to understand and he gives your great feedback on essays or practice material. His class is fairly easy and if you took classes like AP Lang/Lit youre more prepared for this class because its way easier than those classes. Recommend!!!

He's awesome, so funny and the best teacher I've ever had. Not a big work load but you have to actually put effort into your papers. 2 extra credit opportunities. Doesn't deduct points for attendance, just natural consequences if you miss class.

Professor G was honestly the best communications teacher I've ever had in my education. The way he lets you turn in part of your paper and he takes the time to give you feedback on it before you turn it in is straight love in my opinion. He wants all of us to learn and pass with good grades. If you manage to fail this course I feel bad for you.

Professor G was one of the best professors I've ever had. The class is really easy I got a 100 on almost all of my essays and has sample essays which I used all semester to write my essays. As long as you give a little bit of effort you shouldn't get lower then a B on an essay.

I only had Professor G for one summer class at 8 am but he made it easy to show up. I have no other classes I could take with him but I wish I did. This class transfers as an ENG 101 to most uni's. The "textbook" was like $7 at the bookstore and he writes it, he's great and his class isn't challenging but it does, in fact, make you think.

Professor G is so laid back and awesome. We had a few essays but he gives you great outlines to follow which makes it so much easier. If you are struggling he gives the opportunity to revise your essays. I would definitely recommend this teacher!!

If you want the easiest A you'll ever get, take Prof G's class. Coolest guy ever, he understands that it's a community college, low-level writing class, so he makes it extremely easy on purpose. My COM-101 class with a different prof was 10x harder than com 102 with Prof G. Take this guy for 101 and 102 if you have the chance!

Really cool/laid-back professor and understanding. As long as you meet the requirements for the papers and turn them in, you'll pass. Allows you to submit late and revise. He made my first year of college so smooth. If you want a good professor take him! He is super chill and his work is very reasonable it was never something I had to stress about. It's an easy A if you fail that's all on you.

I took him last year and got an A+. Very chill, calm. On lab they, he let us free writing and he put on some calm music which help your brain to function to write. 4 essay and 1 speech. Very easy. Not a tough grader. Doesn't do attendance. Loving and caring for his student. Listen to them and support them. On Final exam, we play sport in the gym.

I took him for COM101 and COM102. He is the best professor I have ever had. His teaching style is very understanding and unique. super great guy with creative assignments. sometimes the class went a little too slow but he was always attentive and respectful to everyone in the class. he had examples for EVERY assignment which was incredibly helpful.

He only has a few writing assignments, read and follow the criteria and you should get an A no problem. It's ok to miss a couple classes but it'd important to show up to class for credit and feedback on your papers. Overall he's a pretty cool and understanding guy!

Best prof I've ever had at Moraine. Easy-going and understands when mistakes get made. No final, just a final reflective letter. He's also really funny and tries to engage the class as much as possible, even when material occasionally gets boring.

You need to take Professor G. Honestly one of the coolest and understanding professors at Moraine. His course work could be difficult but he helps you build yourself up and is one of a kind so don't miss out on taking his class. Also you're in the basketball gym playing games for the final who wouldn't want that after a long semester.

All I need to say about Professor G is that if he gets high ratings, that should tell you he is one of the best teachers anyone could have. Professor G is a very understanding Professor and gives you extra time to work on assignments. He'll make you laugh with his corny jokes, and he'll review a part of any essays that are being worked on for you.

Super chill, if ur someone who juggles a lot outside of school he's a good choice since he doesn't do attendance. U should still go to class bc u will miss instructions but I work a lot so this was ideal when I needed to miss. Theres not many assignments besides the big paper's. He makes the class as stress free as a college class can be.

If you ever plan to increase your writing skills by taking a composition class, please take Professor G! This guy is such a chill person and he goes into detail so much about the essays that we work on. This semester is almost ending, but honestly, I wish I didn't. All his assignments(he rarely has any) greatly help as they go towards your essay.

Awesome teacher and awesome guy. This class was very easy, and all I had to worry about were the 3 big papers of the semester. No filler in-between to keep you busy, just simple and easy. I will admit this though, the class would work better online as there is almost no point of showing up in person as everything can be done from your laptop.

If you are looking to take COM-101, I HIGHLY recommend Professor G. The course work was not heavy and the due dates were reasonable. If you turn in anything late, communicate with him and you won't get points taken off. Professor G is also very funny and likes to connect with his students.
