Parag is a really nice man, and EXTREMELY willing to help students out. However, his projects and current event assignments are hard and graded quite strictly. Lectures are BORING and confusing.

One of the best profs at GVSU is a bit of an overstatement. Reading powerpoint word for word makes class go very slow along with the projects that are for businesses & not intro MGT classes.

Parag is awesome. By far the most helpful and easy going professor you'll meet at GVSU, possibly anywhere. Goes out of his way to make sure everyone has the most absolute advantage at getting an A. Quizzes are able to be taken up to 5 times to maximize your score. And there is a plethora of easy xtra credit opportunities.

Projects are long and confusing, but doable. Weekly "adventures" are more busywork than anything else. Very lax on deadlines. Study the online quizzes before exams! PK is a great professor who is cares deeply for his students. MGT 268 has a lot of information and I feel it easily could be divided into two courses. 3 big projects, 4 challenge exercises, 2 tough exams but you get to make a crib sheet. At times you will have a lot going on at once but Parag will do anything to help you through it.

My biggest problem with PK is just the way he talks. Sometimes he talks really quickly and his accent makes it hard to understand. Notes can also be confusing, so study for the tests. Other than that, he's funny and probably the nicest prof I've ever had. He'll give you his cell number that you can call at 1am if you need help with something

I have never had a professor who is so organized and enthusiastic for class. PK is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend taking him. You will have to do some work however, if you're willing to work you will learn! I can not say enough about PK. I would gladly take a class with him again!

By far the most energetic professor I have experienced at GV. Extremely smart in his field and likes to help you in any way he can. Follow directions and ask questions when you're working on the projects and you should get close to full credit. Exams were MC and somewhat difficult. Also be aware that the 2 exams count for over 50% of your grade.

Great professor. We had a midterm and a final for exams which he gives you reviews for. There are 3 projects that aren't hard. And homework is just attempt based, so if you try you get full credit. Hes one of those teachers who is very interested in the subject he teaches. His class isnt hard at all, but requires A LOT of "busy work". Just about every week something is due like small projects, quizs, projects etc.. He allows students to turn stuff in late though. I wouldn't take him again, but dont regret my time in the class. I am new to ecommerce, so I loved all the hands-on work. I guess it can be 'busy work' to those who know it, like the one who was next to me. Learned a lot of new technologies that are in the news. I also like that he really cares about you.

Professor PK is very accessible out of class, he gives out his phone number and responds very quick with any questions. I loved Dr. PK! He was always asking if we need help and dont get me started on the extra credit. Lectures on bb which were at longest 30 min. Games during class to earn extra credit every week. Explains projects with every detail and gives study guides for tests which have all the questions.

Great guy, tons of extra credit, super understanding. Allows 24 hour leeway on all assignments, sometimes even longer. No in person lectures, video lectures are only 30 min at the very most. Have long time to work on group projects, with detailed instructions. Can retake online quizzes as many times as u want, very similar to the tests.

Professor Kosalge is one of the best professors I've had at GVSU. He is hilarious and super smart. He gives so much help and wants to make sure you succeed. You have to try in order to fail this class, very easy and fun. Exams were easy, make sure to show up to the Jeopardy review sessions.

I absolutely LOVED Professor Koslage. If you get a chance to take a class he teaches, take him! He is so kind, caring, approachable, and VERY SMART. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and he even tells you he wants to be your friend. He made me want to go to class and I really enjoyed having him.

This professor is great! The class is very engaging and there are lots of extra credit activities. There is a lot of group work but I found his style of teaching to be very fun and interactive. Coming to class is not required but can give you extra credit. Overall I enjoyed this class a lot.

Easy A

Take his class. Lectures and projects are interesting although somewhat complex. He is always willing to help. Very very accessible. GAME BASED CLASS. Almost every week there is a fun (if you have prepared) game for participation points. Games are usually online and always in class only. Jokes in lectures to keep your attention. Take his class.

PK is so nice and is always willing to help. This class is impossible to get a bad grade in. Every class there is always almost 2-3 EC points for being there, and he provides all the questions on the exams before hand. The group projects are pretty dreadful and time consuming, so pick your group wisely. Other than that, I would highly recommend.

Professor is good and very enthusiastic every lecture. If you fail this course theres something wrong with you because this course is easy, if you put in effort and time outside of class. Course is based on outside lecture videos, and games or lectures that are in class. You'll have to learn some MS Access and some homework can be time consuming.

PK is an enthusiastic and engaging professor who makes this class easy to do well in. With plenty of extra credit opportunities and helpful study tools like Unstuck study, you'll be set up for success as long as you put in the effort. Group projects can be a drag, but overall a great class!

Professor PK runs a game-based course for 268. Assignments can be resubmitted after the due date for full credit. He wants you to understand the material and will walk your through it. Every other class was a game where you were guaranteed to get extra credit if you participated, and the group projects took less than an hour per person.

Dr. PK is a passionate educator whose enthusiasm shines through every day. He consistently challenges our thinking in innovative ways, incorporating interactive games and transforming potentially dry material into engaging and dynamic learning experiences. I wish more professors were like him.

Take him! Super easy class with TONS of extra credit offered basically every day. I only needed a 45% on the final to end with an A because of all the EC he gives. If you're a mgt major or actually want to learn MIS I wouldn't recommend because you might not learn it as well, but the class is easy for anyone that just wants credit and a GPA boost

Gives so much extra credit if you show up to class, most days got out 30 mins early. Super lenient on due dates will allow to turn in 24-48 hours after due date. Very nice guy

Big fan of Dr. PK! He is always ready to teach and does a great job at encouraging class collaboration. It is a game based class with little lectures, and the games are always fun. He gives out tons of extra credit to boost your grade too. He's always available for extra help and will do his best to help you understand the content. Absolute legend.

By far the best MGT268 course. This is a game based course with only 500 points total. Almost every week there will be a game to play for extra credit. It's 1 point for participating and 2 or 3 points for being among the top 20 to finish the game. He will allow you submit work for full points a day after it's due. I finished with a 100% grade.

PK is the best prof I've had so far. He uses a game based format in every class session for extra credit. The projects can look confusing at first but he will walk you through everything. Genuine person who cares about the student not their grade.

PK is the best professor and teacher I've had. He is probably top 3 professors at GVSU. His classes are amazing and very engaging and super fun to learn from. He does games in class and genuinely cares about his students and how they learn. Absolutely nothing bad to say about him, he even helped me with my study abroad.
