Obviously, Biology is going to be hard. However, Dr. Jodhka makes it easy to pass her class by providing us with all of her notes, study guides, and detailed explanations. It might take a little while to get used to her, but she has become my favorite teacher at TCC. Have fun with her class. She likes jokes and she likes to get feedback.

Dr. Jodhka is a very inteligent woman. She never has to teach from a textbook and has immense knowledge and expertise at her figertips. She was always willing to work with me throughout all issues in class. She is a people person and recognizes special traits in others and helps to bring that out to the surface. I enjoyed her class alot!

She always made sure that all the students understood the lecture. She care for each individual student and work with us if we needed help understanding some material from the book. The use of slides in lecture help me a lot to understand better. I like the way she teaches and will definitely take another of her classes.

She is not, however, an "easy A" like many TCC teachers. The exams are difficult and lengthy. But I really did learn and retain more information than I thought possible.

I found Dr Jodhka to be fair and knowledgeable. Her outlines were a bit redundant at times but otherwise very easy to follow. She is passionate about biology and wants her students to succeed. She did often compare our class to another class of hers that was obviously doing better than our class, which I found offensive, otherwise a great teacher.

Parmeet Jodhak is one of the best professors I've ever had. Dr J is a good instructor. She loves what she does and that makes her class more interesting. Don't kid yourself, micro is a beast of a class and you will bust your butt for an A but this lady cares and goes out of her way to help you understand. Stick with it. About halfway through the class it will click and you will LOVE it too.

Professor Jodhka's class can seem tough at the beginning of the semester, but as long as you read your book, follow along in lectures, complete study guides and attend SI(Student led study sessions*Bonus*) you should do great. I haven't had a science teacher as amazing as Dr. Jodhka. Most of the time I have to teach myself the information and pray I study the accurate information that a teacher will put on the test. I really like Dr. Jodhka methods; she goes over the information and actually explains it and allows for questions and participation.

I had a good experience with this professor. I loved the lab practicals, having lots of hands on material really helped me learn the material for the test. HOLY COW was this a hard class. Jodhka was an incredible professor, so intelligent and interesting to talk to. Super hard grader. Lab practicals were rough and there were lots of pop quizzes. Pay attention during class and ask questions if needed. She is very caring.

She is very soft spoken but is willing to meet outside of class & has mandatory SI hrs or 150+ question reviews as extra points for test, only one EC assignment, hw on mastering bio site can be found on quizlet.

BIO is hard & YES you have to put in the effort! Students are quick to blame professors for their grades BUT she only sees you for lecture about 3hrs/week & uses that time to go through the material (use your other 165hrs wisely.) You have to read before so you are able to ask questions during, if not she'll assume you understand & move on.

I have taken Dr. Johdka for Bio 1406 and 1407 and I absolutely love her class. She is so knowledgeable and cares deeply about her students success. She adapted her course well to be online by providing live & recorded lectures, animated videos, notes, reviews, & has a syllabus of dates she follows. I study the PowerPoint slides that professor Jodhka puts together. She is very prepared and breaks down each topic to where her students can really understand and enjoy learning. Her test are fair. Bio is hard. You have to invest time reading & studying the material, she only has 1.5hrs to outline the concepts. Coming to class prepared is important. Walking into class not knowing the chapter content everything will be confusing. READ THE BOOK! No one is going to read it for you. You put in the work & she guides you through. She truly cares.

She made optional extra credit that helped review material. Has reviews for every test. She posts videos about most of the content covered in class but it is hard to learn from her videos. As opposed to class where she draws diagrams and gives better examples.She is straight to the point and is always asking if we have questions before continuing.

Dr J is such an amazing person. At first I did not like the class because it was so difficult with my being full time student and Having full time job. Do the extra credit. Do the homework. Tests happen often due to it being a 2 lecture/2 lab per week class, but the class doesn't feel rushed.

What helped was the hands on experiments provided in this course as it helped show us an understanding of how life works as a whole. It was also very helpful that she encouraged outside the classroom studying and study sessions where we went over what we would have done that week. Professor did a very good job providing the class with study guides, animations, and postings of her lecture recordings that make the class a lot easier to prepare for. She is very kind and understanding and will go the extra mile for her students who make an effort in her class. The quizzes helped me stay updated and better prepared for exams.

Microbiology was one of the best courses I took. I learned a lot about microbes and lab techniques. The lab was fun and engaging, with hands-on experiments. Dr. Jodhka is an amazing professor who explains concepts clearly and is always willing to help. She is very friendly and approachable.

Dr Jodhka was my professor for Biology 1406 and she is able to make complicated subjects easy to understand. She will pause her lectures to answer questions and will ask if anyone needs clarity on a subject. She also offers practice quizzes on the textbook, study sessions on Fridays and one on one sessions if you are struggling with a subject.

She stops and answers questions, despite having little time for that; works after class to make reviews and host study sessions. This professor was one of my first in college, I would definitely take this class again, she cares about her students, she wants you to pass, yes there's a lot of work but it is to help cushion your grade! Dr Jodhka is one of the few professors who actually care if their students succeed or not. Her lectures go quick, but she's efficient in covering all the material in a way that's easy to understand. I highly recommend reading the textbook prior to lecture so you are able to keep up with the fast pace. Overall, very good professor!

She is an AMAZING educator. She gives you so many resources to make sure you are successful in this course. The work load is a lot but that can be expected from any biology class. Microbiology overall wasn't easy, but I definitely think she taught it very well. She's usually a quick grader, but she does have specific expectations for each assignment so make sure you pay attention to the details. She's very nice, caring, and genuinely wants her students to succeed.
