I took History 262 with Professor Mohammadi in the Fall of 2016 @ York College CUNY. This Professor is charismatic, knowledgable, and helpful. I had very little knowledge re; the Middle East prior to taking this course. I feel as if I am sufficiently versed in the topic after taking this course. Reading involved and attendance is mandatory!

This is one of the best teachers you will ever have. I love him! Go to class and take notes for an A+. He engages the entire class and makes the material so easy to understand. Just a brilliant man. You will learn a lot.

As a history major, this class and Professor Mohammadi is one of the most well needed for the history department. Every class captures your attention and having one of the most knowledgeable professors only made it better!!! You will not only expand your views on world history, but you will get the meet the pleasure of meeting a sweet professor.

Professor Parsa is an awesome professor. His Middle East class will help to see both sides of all the conflicts and issues of the Middle East. Growing up in an Egyptian home I was used to a lot of anti antisemitism. But thankfully there was none of that in Parsa's classroom. He's fair and objective while still being open. So take his class.

History 262-T was an amazing class. I learned so much from this class. Professor. Parsa is understanding and ran the class smoothly. Professor Mohammadi is an expert in Middle Eastern affairs, and brings to the class his knowledge of the region through his personal experiences as well as through his experiences as a UN worker. If you need to know anything pertaining to the Middle East Professor Mohammadi will likely have extensive knowledge on the topic.

Professor Moahmmadi, Truley goes out of his way to communicate, understand, and help his students on many aspects. His class involves reading the assignments for the lectures of the day and wants to create an interaction, open conversation with the class instead of a boring lecture.

Professor Mohammadi is very caring and accessible outside of class. He allows no more than three absences, if you do miss more than three class sessions you will fail the course. Participation matters, the professor will be able to count more points towards the overall grade if you do participate. The professor has strict deadlines.

Definitely a great class and he is really helpful. Very flexible and understanding when it comes to issues outside of the classroom. Clear on the dates in which assignments are due, and will only test you on what he has taught you. The corse is fair for you to pass you have to be in class paying attention if you don't you are going to fail but its pretty easy for the most part, and the professor is really he will work with you as long as you show the effort and if there is any problem email him and he will respond to you quick with the answer to your problem.

Professor Mohammadi was my professor for a month & a half into the semester before they switched the teacher for the course. But hes super clear as to what he wants his work to look like. I hated my high school experience and having him as a freshmen in college, I can gladly say I've loved my transition into college. He is one of the best most real teachers I've ever had and I wouldn't miss a single one of his classes. If I had the choice I'd take him every year of college.

He is very professional and respectful. You will pass his class if you the work that's assigned. Papers aren't that long, usually 2/3pages and on interesting topics. He is caring and understands you.

As a student completely unaware of anything relating to the government, this class was clear cut with multiples real life examples to help understand. The lecture although was online was still well done and mainly discussed topics surrounding the textbook reading. There was no test so this class mainly focus on understanding the topic.

This professor makes class really interesting and fun. His lectures always teach something new and he gives amazing advice and feedback. I don't wanna come off as praising him too much but he really is an amazing professor. I recommend anyone interested take his class. Just make sure to do the assignments on time and you participate.

Professor Mohammadi's lectures are very engaging and he's willing to spend time making sure everyone understands the necessary course materials. His lectures are very straightforward and pair well with assigned readings. He's very flexible and easy to contact.

He is very respectful and understanding and makes sure that you understand the topic. He gives real-life examples and responses back to your email within one hour or less. Participation matters a lot and there was no final exam or a test for this class (history 316). He gave two short assignments (3/4 pages or less) and one final paper (6-7).

You won't regret taking him, I took him again for my fall 2020 because I needed an elective class. Planning on taking him again next semester. The work he gives is very reasonable and if you have concerns or anything, just speak to him. He is very understanding.

Prof. Mohammadi is very knowledgeable and respectful. Aside from the textbook, he explains the subject and goes deep into international relationships, making connections between past and current events. Professor Parsa was a great professor, he was very patient, he gives a few writing assignments but if you pay attention during the lecture you will do well. He will tell you when a specific topic during the lecture is important, he also expects you to participate and will make it clear that you need to join the classroom discussion.
