EASSSSYYYY! LITERALLY. HE LEAVES EVERYTHING OPEN UNTIL THE LAST DAY AND YOU CAN RE-DO YOUR HOMEWORK UP TO 50 TIMES ON MYMATHLAB UNTIL YOU GET A GOOD GRADE. I FINISHED THE COURSE IN TWO WEEKS THAT'S HOW EASY HE WAS. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR AN EASY ONLINE CLASS TAKE HIM. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

Excelent professor, he really cares about students and he's always online!! I had him last year and I'm taking him again this year for calculus. recommend him a lot

2nd attempt at this class 1st time I took at FAU- I took this in 6 weeks- only 2 exams-midterm and final but they are the practice exams just study those in and out and you will be fine- there its math lab hmwk and math lab quizzes and Extra credit for like 2/3 % points - he is durable but you have to put the time in and you get 2 quiz attempts! :)

He is tough but fair. His expectations are clear. The class required 6 homework assignments that were graded, you had to show work and upload it. Discussion questions were annoying but boosted my grade. Midterm and Final, with 4 quizzes. Take him, but put in the effort.

Do not be fooled by the end date for the homework in My Math Lab. The first few modules are due by midterm. I pleaded him to reopen due to system issues initially. He re-opened them the day before the class ended. Not helpful for working students. I would not sugg online unless you absolutely have time on your hands. Manage wisely.

Go with him and do your part, you never go wrong. He is very helpful and professional!

This professor makes it very clear that he wants you to pass by giving you all the resources and chances to do so. If you don't put in your part, you won't do well. If you do, there's really no reason why you should fail, there were even extra credit opportunities. I took the 6 week online course, be prepared to devote 3-4 hours daily to it.

I just finished Professor Roubides class and he is amazing! I was REALLY struggling in the class and he honestly went out his way to help me succeed! I am very grateful for him and I let him know that as well lol. However, I'm trying to squeeze in his MAC1105 and MAC2233 :) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!!

Great Professor. I am bad at math and he makes it fun and easy to understand. I passed with a B. I wished he was available for MAC 1105 and STA 2023.

Professor Roubides is great. I took MAC2311 Online and it was tough but he's their for students. He grades, replies, and gives chances. Responded to a late discussion question but got a 50 when I could have gotten an F. Effort is the key to his class. Homework and tests have a reasonable time frame to be completed. He gives out practice Exam. Aced.

This is one of the best algebra courses that I have taken. I'm in high school, passed Algebra 1 & Algebra 2 with A's, took algebra 2 at a summer program, and took pre-algebra. But, this course introduced me to topics I had never experienced. I finally understood things I never had. The professor is clear and concise, finished in four weeks online.

BEST PROFESSOR in the world everyone! He is so helpful and cares about your success! Do you work and manage your time and you will do fine!!! Take him bc you won't regret it ;-)! I have nothing but great things to say about him and his class! :-)

He expects you to know everything up to college algebra. Homework is long, tedious and work must be shown. The online textbook is confusing and skips steps. If you're not great at math, don't even think about enrolling for his six week online course. Midterm and Final are a HUGE percentage of your total grade, so if you fail those you're done.

The homework and discussions were really easy and so were the quizzes . The tests make up most of your grade , and they are hard, you had to study and practice in order to get an A. Class wasn't an easy A but you can definitely get a C .

Took this as a dual enrollment class and I had a solid calculus background beforehand, but by far my favorite online class I've taken! He actually responds to discussions and will answer emails- he's very helpful. Homework was optional, and there's a reference sheet for the proctored exams. Super easy class if you have prior calculus knowledge.

Second time taking this class and I would not have passed if it wasnt for this professor. Very helpful with emails i sent him and he did give everyone extra credit and let us drop lowest grade! Thank you for saving my semester!

I took online as 8 week course. I loved this guy! Great course, syllabus, homework, videos, and test. He can be tough, but ultimately there to help you. Do the work, watch the videos, homework, participate, and you will get an A or B. Algebra is a tough course. I will take him again. He knows how to structure online class. Oh, lots of discussions.

I took this as an 8 week online course. Prof Roubides is my favorite Professor at BC so far. I plan on taking him for Calc1 as well. His syllabus is clear. Homework is reasonable, keep it and you can study from it. Average amount of Discussions. Grades fairly. Test are typical for this level of class. Take this guy, he's awesome.

I took as a 12 week online course. Prof Roubides is an excellent Professor. I plan on taking him for Calc2. His syllabus is clear. Homework can sometimes get difficult. Two discussions every module. Grades fairly. Test are typical for Math course. He allows you to sorta go at your own pace, which is nice for people who work full-time. Take him.

different class than waht im used to but great professor anyway! he responds to emails so fast i think hes on the computer all the time :) grades fairly but he expects that i do my work. if you do your work you can pass but he made me earn it!

Great teacher took him last semester and this semester again I learn on my own best but he is always there whenever i get stuck he can explain things better than the book and so i like him very much highly recommend to take him

My 3rd math course with Prof Roubides. Calc 2 is very difficult, but he helps you help yourself along this journey. Yes, Calc 2 is a difficult journey. He is well organized, so it's nice to be able to plan the whole semester from day 1. The test were difficult, just do your part and study. I plan on taking Calc 3 with him.

Discussion questions are really easy and usually require you to relate concepts to real life or come up with your own example. Only worth one point. Tests are 15-20 so count for a lot. HW assignments are optional/not graded. DO NOT BUY PROGRAM. Textbook provided online but has frequent mistakes. Tests are simple and pretty easy.

Let me start by saying I am horrible in math. This professor however helped me almost every day via the email option. If I didn't understand he was right there to point me in the right direction. There are discussions and 4 test. Everything is 20% of your grade. I got an A in this class! Def glad I stuck it out!

funny to read some comments about professors complaining that they expect us to work hard and rating them poorly, woow! it was a challenging class for me (well, it's calculus!) but professor always answers my questions. he has online homework like most classes, and expects regular participation like a campus class. Very fair, excellent professor!

i have been taking this teacher's classes for over a year i think - Algebra, Calc 1,2 and now 3! best professor I had ever! he shares real life examples and doesn't just give you answers - he makes you think for it yourself. Digital text in class (free!), no MyLABS in this class, has assignments every module (2-3 weeks to do it), and discussions.

Online class, 8 weeks. Great course, great structure, clear syllabus, NO homework, NO discussions! Lots of videos to help, and just a few tests. Do your work and you will get an A or B. Definitely would take him again. He's there to help if you ask.

just finished class and passed, woohoo! 8 week class, 3 exams, professor allowed retakes! class project with 4 problems. easy 10% of grade i messed up early on but thanks to retake i managed to pass the class! i would have failed if it wasnt for the retake allowed just study and you can pass i would take again for other classes

Great online prof. He gets back to you very quickly. Upfront with what is expected. Easy test. Only 4 test including final for Summer Online term. ALL test were open to take earlier if wanted. Replaced lowest grade with final if warranted. Great study material.. Cant wait to take him for MAC1105!!!

There is a certificate assignment, 5 exams (2 non-proctored and 3 proctored), and one class project (individual). He is a good professor who gives great feedback but I wish there was like an interactive part besides the textbook like knewton. STUDY! He replaces your lowest grade with your final grade so do good on the final.

To be honest I don't know why so many people have scored Mr Roubides so low. Nothing comes for free in life. It's pretty simple: you put time and study each module, and you will get good results. If you work hard on your homework, the exams will be a bliss ;)

Amazing! So satisfied with how my grades are looking ever since I've been watching his lectures. Don't know why he is scored that low. People don't know that you actually have to study to take tests-or even do the tests, when they are due. 2 weeks is long enough to submit a test. But overall really smart professor, no one like him!

Very understanding of when I had missed a large chunk of work and with tech issues with tests. Very demanding though, this class forces me to meticulously plan my weeks in order to minimize workload.

I don't know why he has a low rating. Best calc professor by far! His lectures are very helpful and he provides a practice exam with a video explaining how to do every problem for every exam. These videos were insanely helpful. Obviously calc is a very hard subject on its own, but he has a natural talent to teach. Take him!!!

His practice exams helps a lot

Class is simple enough to understand, had 3 units with around 8 "lessons" within each unit. Dropped some of the lowest homework grades and a couple of the tests and quizzes. Just do well enough on the homework and do decent on the tests and you'll do fine.

I had to retake this class and the second time around I took this professor. It is a lot of work but the course schedule is clear. I really appreciated how at the end he dropped your lowest grades in the class including an exam. I believe he wants his students to pass and is willing to work with you. I would take him again.

Dropped the lowest two quiz grades and the lowest two homework assignments which really help your grades on top of nonexistent deadlines.

great adjunct! class was tough wit many assignments but better teacher than all the full timers; he was extra helfull by dropping lowest test scores. i was afraid i wouldnt pass. take him!

Pre-recorded videos aren't the clearest. The website used for homework was very effective as it had a tool to guide you. I did badly on 2 tests, but the professor was very generous & flexible. He dropped 3 hws, 1 quiz, and replaced your lowest test grade with the final- it brought my grade from an 85 to 92 :D(I suck at math). Studying is success.

Professor Pascal Roubides was excellent his class was well organized and very thorough. He always communicated with us and the final was optional or extra credit. His class wasn't hard but did require some study time. Overall I would take his class again.

Great professor, always replied to emails, many times on the weekend too. Would take again.

I hate math, but I have to take this class I passed with B . He really cares he opened all assignments at the end of the semester so you complete the one that you have missed.

Do yourself a favor and take him!! very helpful, plus dropped some grades which took me to a B instead of C+
