Sweet lady. Very easy class! Just go to class and pay attention. I never read a thing in that class and ended up with an A. Extra credit avil. Easy B, do extra credit for A.

She is great. She's passionate and very knowledgable regarding the variety of religions. She may offend you, but if you go in w/ an open mind you will learn tons! She gives study guides b/f exams and if you memorize those answers you will get an A. :)

This class is pretty easy. Tests are easy. Just memorize the study guide because everything on it is on the test. She gives lots of extra credit. She's a cool teacher to have. Very passionate about things.

Very good teacher. Nice and funny and makes class interesting. I learned a lot from the class and it made me more open to religion. I highly suggest taking this class.

Pretty easy teacher if you follow the study guides she gives out because the tests come straight from it. Lots of extra credit on tests, you can get over 100 points on them. Very nice and caring lady too. Class was interesting!

Very Genuine Professor. Great class to take especially if you are not a devout religious person. 6 M/C tests not cumulative. Gives Study Guides and plenty of opportunities for extra credit.

Easy calss know the study guide cause it's gonna be onthe test. She's very helpful and easy to talk to and it's amazing how she knows everyone's name. She gives a lot of extra credit.

This teacher has a great personality and is fun, but she is very strong with her own beliefs so if you're easily offended, stay away! I have learned a lot from this teacher. I would recommend this class!

Never in my life have I had such an amazing and inspirational teacher. She is a genuine person whom will never forget. The class was so interesting. I felt like I never wanted to miss it. I learned more in this class than I have in all my years so far.

Oh man she is a great teacher. She is so into what she teaches,for test just study youe study guide and you should be fine. She gives lots of extra credit, make you do it. I recommend you to take the class.

Her class is very interesting, you should never miss one. Though, her tests are kind of hard becuase it is not a clear black and white answer.

Her test are not clear cut (I barely passed most!), but as a teacher she is amazing when it comes to explaining religious philosophy- which is all that really matters- so I highly recommend taking her! Warning for sensitive people- shes NY!

This class makes you think differenty. Her tests are not black and white cuz she wants you to actually think and apply your knowledge. She is a great teacher. The lectures are very interesting. You will learn alot about religion and about life.

You have to take this class. It opens your eyes to a lot of bull crap in this world. She is very funny and intelligent. Tests are pretty easy if you go to class frequently.

This woman was very inspiring, after her classes I always felt like there was a whole world outside and there was so much I could do. The tests are hard, and she is opinionated, but who isn't with a Ph.D. Overall, I think this a teacher everyone has to take to step outside egocentricism.

Pay attention to her lectures FIRST,and EVERYTHING she write on the board, then do your reading last.Because if you don't you can fail this class.her exams are a mixture lecture/book/ her opinions regarding religion She a great person, but the class was hard to me and I enjoy learning about Religion

Very passionate about her teaching. Your grade is based off your tests; no final. Read the book and listen in lecture and you'll be fine. She's also very understanding with personal problems.

Really nice teacher. She is very Pationate about what she teaches. Make sure to go to class and pay a lot of attention to what she says and what she writes on the board. Yes you need the book but you can just get cliff notes for the novels. Tests are average in difficulty and no final. Good Luck!

Pat Boni is crazy! Very funny teacher but very opinionated. Beware those who are hard core in their religion, she will test your faith. Very helpful and interesting. you will learn a lot. Quizzes are not hard, pay attention in class. Do EXTRA CREDIT! and office hours help for brownie points.

Very rewarding class teacher gives you the information and lets the students work it out a great psych and religion class. Does not really tell you what grade your getting but an easy grader just do the assignments class attendence is crucial and there is some reading but well worth it

GREAT PROF. TAKE HER!! 6 TESTS VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD DO NOT HAVE TO READ! JUST GO TO LECTURE AND YOU WILL BE FINE. YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY OF DOING 7 EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENTS WHICH ARE TO BE TURNED IN AT THE DAY OF THE EXAM. EASY CLASS

this teacher is one of the best. People who are super hardcore christian, (which are the only ones who ever get offended) should not take this course, because she challenges every belief not just christianity. She opens your eyes to the other religions of the world. Easy course, funny teacher, and she offers lots of extra credit.

Prof Boni is awesome! She is oppinionated but she is also interesting and never has a boring lecture. She is really passionate and knows what she teaches. Take notes and read because otherwise you will not do well on the tests.

This class was awesome. I coulnt have had a better intro to World Religions. If closed minded on either side of the fence you'll stuggle but well worth it.I loved the text and kept it! Tests were sometimes a bit confuising, but no where near impossible. Takin her again because i loved the class!! You'll never fall asleep!

she makes class pretty interesting. but some test ?s are confusing even if you read! 6 mult ch tests, no final. you should be able to get a B as long as you read everything & study a little. she's an awesome person...you should talk to her outside of class, ha. there're quite a few e.c. opportunities too.

This professor is very interesting. I learned the most from her class than any other classes I took this semester. Go to class, pay attention, speak up, an be real and you should do great.

Extremely wonderful teacher. I never thought I'd learn so much about life utnil I took this class w/ her. She makes you see things in a different way. She's a little rough when it comes to grading papers-just make sure they're longer than 5 pages! Do the extra credit too, if you can. She's very nice and helpful. One word to describe her: Brilliant.

I took Dr Boni's class last semester, and I actually miss her stimulating dialogue. Watching her is like watching someone perform onstage - I really appreciated her courage to speak in different voices and take on a different persona. I hope one day I will have the wisdom and knowledge she has acquired.

Best class ever! Really makes you think a lot, I would highly recommend this teacher, even though she gets kinda crazy sometimes, but thats what makes the class good. The tests are kind of tricky, or at least she makes them that way. Only bad part of the class.

Boni doesn't teach anything in class! Everything on the test is bascially in the tons of reading she gives. Class time consists of her talking about her past cause this woman has a lot of it. Her tests are tricky because she tries to make them that way. She makes the class seem way more interesting than it is on the first day so watch out.

The most engaging class i have ever taken, the kind of class you wake up for in the morning because it is so good. If you listen and read the material you will do fine! The people who fail and hate the class just don't read. It is easy if you do and i am not some super smart person or anything, plus there is no final, or papers!

I've got to tell you, I thought this class was absolutely amazing. Yes its difficult sometiems and yes you have to come to class and do homework, but jeez, this is college, time to grow up, you cant take a class and expect it to be a walk in the park. Ive learned so much from her, and you will too as long as you keep an open mind. Lotsofextracredit

She is a bit liberal in her views and loves to share them, especially with those of us in the military. However, she makes her comments so light hearted and jokingly that it is almost fun. She will tell you in the beginning of class that you will hate this class. Unless you are a hardcore religious person, it is not true.

She was a really interesting teacher. Had a lot of good perspectives on things. She made class really interesting. Was one of my hardest, but my favorite. Tests are hard, use the study guide as much as you can. Lots of extra credit in the end of the year.

I loved this class, Boni is a great teacher. I don't know what other students are talking about, I found her to be very unbiased; she doesn't bash anyone's religion. She made the class very interesting; if you read the book, it's a very easy class.

Prof boni has a wry teaching style but it suits her. Not everybody will like it but if you're gonna take the class, be prepared to actually have some interest or just don't show up and fail. your choice.

interesting class. opens mind to new perspectives. She has a funny personality but you got to go in w/ an open mind. Defnitely questionable beliefs but interesting if you don't take them all as truth. Test for each chapter, so no final. Tests only 25 questions and very easy. I got a B+ not doing the tons of extra credit given.

Interesting class, but would not recommend it to people who already have a religion for she is disrespectful at times. Tests are more on what she says in class than anything else so you kina have to show up. showing up to her office hours really gives you "brownie pints"

Dr Boni's class is mostly discussion, there are some essays during the semester but that is the only homework we have.. Very interesting class and she has a good sense of humor... Make sure you go to class!

Professor Boni does exactly what every college professor should do, she challenges you to think critically about the world around you. Showing up to class is absolutely necessary if you want to pass, her tests can be a bit tricky if you do not pay close attention.

Professor Boni is an amazing teacher. I have never had any individual(teacher or otherwise) provoke so much interest in a topic as she did. She challenges your mind, and doesn't rely on basic memorized knowledge for tests. She encourages students to think outside the box in a very existential way. She is a very nice lady, and going to her class really opened my mind. She has very good advice that you you will get from her lectures. .This is a very intersting class that you will love as long as you get involved as speak your opinions.Take her and their is a great get together party she has after the semester is done, you should go.

Dr. Boni is hilarious. She tells it hows she sees it and doesn't dish out "angel ****" as she calls it e.g. getting world peace or ending world hunger. Lectures are kinda pointles, interesting at times. No homework EVER except extra credit and reading the textbook. Never went to office hours, read the textbook but not the other books and got a B.

Pat Boni is the best professor I've had at SDSU. I took her World Religions class in 2002 and it was the most engaging course. She is passionate about every lecture and teaches each religion as if it were her faith. I learned a great deal about perspective and life from Pat Boni. You should absolutely take her class if you get the chance.

Professor Boni brought the reality of human existance and out for religious understanding to my heart. I spent time learning with Professor Boni in and oit of the classroom. I do not believe thst every student understood how much she cared.
