Gives tons of partial credit. Final is optional. You can make improve your grade on tests with limitations. Going to class very important. Really cares if you pass his class.
the best teacher i have had ever. he cares very much about his students. he wants to make an impact on your life. you must go to class, but you will be very rewarded if you choose to attend. he will bend over backwards to help you learn
great teacher..likes subject & teaches it well. Hard subject, but he gives partial credit & extra for staying in class after break at night.OPen book test so don't need to memorize formulas, just understand how to work them. Really cares that you do well.I liked so well I am taking Mkt352 with him.
Wants to see students do well. Class is difficult but possible to achieve good grade.
this is a teacher who cares, if you don't mind speaking in class as a whole, he will get you through qba. Stay after and talk to him, he is funny, helpfull, and cool.
stats is a hard class, but with Pat its very easy. you can tell he loves Stats/teachin. no reason you couldn't get an A in this class. he curves everytest. if you flunk the test, you have the option to retake it for a max. point of 75%. open book test.
I hate stats, but with Pat it was not that bad. I heard from other classes that it was impossible, but I really did not feel like that. He would rather you know how to do it instead of memorizing the information, therefore tests are open book. Take him, I will any chance I get.
All tests are open book/note. Go to class because he will give easy 5 point assignments that really help out your grade. He's good at explaining things if you don't understand them.
Seriously, take qba with Pat. He is an AWESOME teacher and he wants to see his students do well. All the tests were open book, open note. Go to class, he gives extra points, especially after tests.
stats is just a difficult class. i'd recommend this teacher though. his tests are open book..though that doesn't really help if you don't understand. he is helpful-wants everyone to do well in his class
Pat is an **** through and through.
I just wish I had tried in this class, and I could have done better than a B. Great guy, and he makes stats the best it could possibly be.
I had no idea what I was doing and passed with a B. He wants his students to pass and gives lots of ec after tests and when you stay late. My best test grade was when I didn't study, because the test probs are nothing like examples in class. He is not helpful, clear, or interesting, but he grades SUPER EASY----Take him.
Pat is a good teacher and lets you out about an hour early, 237 is all open note open book with him except for the first test, he can be a little confusing trying to explain stuff but overall a good teacher for the material being taught. He teaches the same exact way for 337 too.
Not bad. The first test is hard but every other test is open note open book. Lots of info but i would take him again.
You gotta love Pat. He's a great guy and a lot of fun. The information is difficult and he doesn't always do the greatest at explaining things but he grades easy, gives extra points, and always lets out early. If you study it's an easy A...if you don't then it's an easy B-C. It's pretty much impossible to fail the class. P.S. I love his wink! ;)
Know this is a tough class going in, you have to go to class, but he still makes no sense. Work the problems in the book, they help a lot on tests. Do online quizzes which he will help with if you stay after class.
I got a 96% on first test (just memorization of formulas), I thought second test was more challenging-79%. No homework, so just have to read book & notes. The tricky part is how he words his questions. He does try to "trick" you with the way he uses English, so read questions carefully. Be sure to answer the question, don't just solve the problem.
Pat is nice and very helpful however I had a hard time understanding him.He is overly animated during class yet his lectures are strictly based on powerpoints and tests are from the book. No written notes. Take the online quizzes that will help with tests. I got a tutor from TRIO and he didn't even understand the material. 3rd times the charm.
Took it as a night class. Extremely easy gives out all kinds of bonus points. Open book/note tests. He really wants everyone to get an A. Didn't learn a whole lot but got a good grade!
Teacher does not even describe Pat. I had to learn all the material on my own. I was in class every single day, yet had to teach myself. The tests were a couple questions, yet took me the entire class period to finish. The only good thing is that the tests are open book and open note. I would definitely recommend someone else!!
He reminds me of John Wayne. If you don't show up to class you are probably going to fail because the notes online sometimes have errors that you wont find out about until he tells you. If you show up and try you will do well. You just need to show up. Tons of extra credit if you, again, show up.
Really great professors !!! Go to class then you should be fine !
Highly recommend !!!
I'm not sure what happened, but his grading is not as easy anymore. He is very objective and weighs everything the same whether it is a one word answer or an entire page, with little partial credit. Go to class. His reviews are pointless bc he completely changes test questions to stuff you have never done. Challenging to finish in the time allowed
Pat is awesome!! He uses powerpoints every day, so make sure to print those out. His tests are open book, open note. He is always willing to stay after class and talk with those who aren't understanding, very willing to help students! Don't listen to bad reviews on here, they probably just didn't understand the material, cuz the class is tough.
Not an easy class, but not hard to get an A-Print off powerpoints, show up, and take notes-Show up to test reviews and take good notes-tests are very similar to the review despite what he says. First test is not open book, just definitions, but the next 2 are open note/book and the last test is a group test. If you have to take QBA take it with Pat.
Worst teacher I've ever had when it comes to helping the student. Funny guy, tests aren't too bad, but makes students feel dumb for asking questions. Apparently he is the best QBA teacher to have, which is quite sad.
Statistics is a hard class, so know that going into the class. Pat is a hard professor, but if you get together with a bunch of people, should be fine. The last test is a group test, but is extremely difficult, don't listen to people that say it is easy. You must study for his tests and do the homework or you will not pass the class. Go to class.
Tough class. Good teacher. Print out the power point, go to class and take notes. Study time is a must. Pat is available for help and TA is (Tony) is very helpful. Last test was 'group effort' and would recommend DOING IT ON YOUR OWN AFTER YOU STUDY. Group effort tests are confusing! Stats is tought, Pat is a good teacher. Good luck!
Pat is a good teacher and does the best he can. Stats is a hard class, so avoid if possible, but Pat does his best to make it bearable. Don't bother buying the book, it's expensive and never used. Just print out the notes he has on blackboard and attend class. Every test but the first one is open book, open note.
If you struggle in math, you'll struggle in this class. Pat Sells tries to keep things loose, but sometimes loses students that are having a hard time keeping up. Tests are NOT multiple choice. Show up to class, ask lots of questions, read the book, and take all the exams.
Best teacher ever. I took it as a night class. I would recomend that because it was actually enjoyable and not long and drawn out. I would definatley recomend him.
Stats is a very hard class. But pat makes it fun if at all possible. Cool guy and jokes around a lot. Uses many situations that actually help but still hard. All notes are on blackboard but still MUST go to class to do well.
Funny guy, good personality, but very confusing. He puts errors on the powerpoints just to make sure people are paying attention, almost seemed like he was messing stuff up to just make things more difficult. When I went to the tutors they couldn't even help me because they said his material was different then what they were used to.
I thought he was a good teacher. He explained everything well and used useful examples. Of the teachers I have had this semester, he is definitely the best. For tests, make examples for each type of problem to follow. I can actually use this stuff in business.
Pat is a great guy! He is always willing to help. But, he will give you the grade that you deserve so, work hard. All tests (except the first) are open note and book. Tests aren't multiple choice so you have to know what you're doing. But he offers partial credit. Pretty easy to get at least a B.
Very intelligent person, he knows statistics very well. All tests other than the first was open note, open book.
Pat wants all to succeed, but will throw curves in the powerpoints to avoid people skipping. Go to class, take notes, do the quizzes and you should be fine. I hate algebra and put this class off but got a B+ in it. You must do the work. Do not go to Tyler for help, go directly to Pat.
If you enjoy a good hippie-love fest, this is your class. If you actually want to learn the material, take someone else. He goes way to fast, doesn't explain clearly, and wants you to chant answers back to him (it makes little difference if you know what you are saying, he just wants to hear you say it). First test is mc, the others are open book.
Pat is great! Show up, listen in class and ask questions if you need to! He is very helpful if you just ASK. Sometimes he does go a little fast but just stop him. Its not a problem. He genuinely cares about every person and wants to help you succeed. He is a funny guy and tries to make statistics applicable to every field. take him!
Don't go to class. Don't buy the book. All the info is covered in the ppts. Oh, the day before tests, he does reviews. Bring a computer & type the questions he gives you. HE WILL LIE TO YOU and tell you that you're wasting your time, when in reality he uses those SAME QUESTIONS on the tests, just with different values. The last test is a group test
Get to use your book/notes on test. I literally only showed up for tests with the powerpoints and that was it and still got high C's.Get to choose to keep your grade you have before the final...
Take him! Yes he is different, yes he makes you chant in class, but if you are looking to actually pass a stats class then you will want to take him. The tests are open note except for the first one. The last test you can work in a group. If you want a B or better go to class.
Take him! He wants students to learn unlike other instructors at MSU. He's very passionate about the subject and cares about his students.
It's hard to learn over this guy's arrogance. The only days worth even going to are the study sessions. Write down the questions and answers that day word for word. He says they won't be on the test, but they will. He only changes the amounts. All tests except the first are open book open note. Last test is group. Final is optional.
Most of his tests were based soley off the book. He does give quizes often but they are like homework grades.Grades pretty fairly and tries to help you as much as possible
I hate stats, but got an A. Super nice guy. Material is hard, but that's not his fault. No homework, and grade based only on tests. Last test is a "group" test, and if you're satisfied with your grade, than no final is required!! Uses power points, and does online quizzes that are easy but slightly time consuming. I recommend for sure, fun guy.
Bus Stats was is everyones dreaded course. The material isn't easy, granted, but Pat was excellent at putting in a way students understood.
Pat Sells is a very nice self-made man that I'm sure is a great guy in every aspect OUTSIDE of the classroom. Worst professor I've ever had. Also the most annoying. Flies through the material without really going through many examples which would have helped many other people. The only way he tries to involve you is by making you chant along.
I would only recommend this online course to someone who already has a good understanding of statistics. You also should be someone who can learn the material with basically no teacher interaction. He also doesn't return tests so you don't know what questions you missed. Not getting the tests back was unfair because you never were able to learn.
Not the best teacher but not the worst either, the material IS HARD... go to the tutor lab if you need help!! his practice tests are just like the real ones! dont buy the book - never used, print out powerpoints!!
Not quick to answer emails. Will not answer questions about tests. Sometimes answers questions in class, prefers to answer your question with a question. Tests are ridiculously hard. But he's the only professor offered most semesters, so good luck!
This professor is the best one I 've ever had! He knows what students really nead and explain the material very clearly. His exams are tough but the whole group passed it well. He gives wonderful examples from his practice of analyst in real life. Pat is hilarious man with a great sence of humor. I've learnt a lot from him
This was the worst online class experience I have ever had. The tests are nothing like the quizzes that he gives you to prepare with, he will not email you back if you have questions or concerns, he has a way of making you feel inferior if you don't understand something. He leaves something to be desired as an online professor! I don't recommend.
Was a very enthusiastic teacher, loved what he was teaching and did a very good job at explaining things. Tests were open note, open book, optional comprehensive final which was supposed to be extremely difficult.
Pat genuinely cares about his students, and it shows. This class was very easy, as long as you actually showed up to class and paid any attention at all to his lecture. He lets you use notes on his tests, and gives a good amount of review before test day. Very easy to get a B just showing up and putting in a small effort, but A is very attainable.
Nice guy, but literally just reads the power point slides. You will need help with this class if you only rely on the class lectures
Would not recommend taking his class, his power points are a nightmare he just reads them to you. Quizzes are nothing like the exams. Forget communication, slow to respond to emails and hard to ask for help without making you feel inferior. You will spend most time on Google or YouTube teaching yourself how the material in this class. Good luck
Pat is really nice and understanding, but his lectures are full of personal stories. For an hour, it's the "Pat Sells Show" which can be very exhausting. A few examples are fine, but he will disagree with the book and then test you on the book material.
I took Pat for QBA 337. The guy really cares that you learn the material and honestly really cares about his students. I didn't take QBA 237 coming into his class and he worked with me all semester to help me understand 337 better. Would recommend to anyone.
Pat Sells is a very likable guy. Don't buy the book, just print the Power Points. You may not learn a lot during lecture, but show up to class for test review day. It is the same types of questions that will be on the test. He is definitely the best choice for teaching a class with this difficult of material, and he also curves test grades.
Took the class online. He rarely sent notifications. Took forever to respond to email. Test was different material than the book. Didn't list the book with the bookstore, so it was a month into the class before I could get. I spent hours studying only to fail tests miserably. DO NOT TAKE
Pat likes to talk about how likable he is and how outstanding he was in his career field Even though he's enthusiastic, the material is boring. He reads directly off the slides. Show up to class because he doesn't tell you when there are going to be in class points. Tests are easy just read over the slides and the final is optional.
Tests are moderately easy. Sells is a good teacher and actually cares about what he teaches. You have one big sales presentation at the end of the year, its pretty easy, most people got As and a couple got over 100% on it. Optional final. Ive heard Hamwi is much easier, but if you cant get into his class and have to take this one, don't stress.
His lecture are long but gives great examples. They may seem slow but he is trying not to over complicate the material. Review day is very important to be at because it is just like the test. Test usually aren't multiple choice, they are problem solving.
This is my second time having Sells and his 337 class was more difficult than his 237. Tests are all that he grades and sometimes unclear about how to do a problem. Does take some work to get an A or B. But he doesn't want you to fail. Nice teacher.
The book is "mandatory," but you won't use it. He posts his slides online and also posts his lecture presentations, which are basically just like his lectures in class, verbatim. Attendance not required but you'll regret not going. Test heavy-- study. It's easy to forget to study for this class, but you'll suffer if you don't.
Sells was great and was passionate about the class. He understands that this is not an easy class for students and does his best to make the material connect. Dont buy the book, watch his recorded lectures, do practice problems and the quizzes and you'll be fine!
Pat is very enthusiastic about statistics. If you go to class and repeat the information he ask you to repeat the class isn't too hard. He loves questions and is always happy to answer them in class.
It's absolutely ridiculous of how awful of an online course this is. The way the class is taught is very unorthodox, at least in my experience, in the way that there are hardly any assignments you can take to learn the material. He offers lecture presentations but they are very long because he's so long-winded. Each presentation is an hour plus.
Seems like a decent choice to take for on campus class but online HE IS HORRIBLE. He has one assignment before each test that are worth a max of 10 points, even though some of the assignments are 30+ hard questions. You are lucky to get a response if you e-mail him a question and the tests are all over the place. Take him in person or not at all.
Pat Sells is a fantastic professor. This class is difficult because it involves using a significant amount of math skills. Sells is excellent at explaining formulas in a way that enables students to easily understand. His lectures are incredibly organized. He is also extremely organized on Blackboard. Tests are challenging but not impossible.
Pat Sells was an amazing teacher. The coursework is hard and he will definitely make you work for an A, but I would highly recommend him to anybody who has to take Statistics (unless you hate class participation, because if you aren't willing to yell "Go team" at the end of every lecture, you'll start to resent him a little bit :P)
His test are nothing like his quizzes. He's very fast to replying to emails but when you get 1 on 1 help if you don't know an answer he gets upset with you. Taking him online was the worst decision ever. He just reads off the slides for his lecture presentations. No help at all.
Pat turned out to be one of my favorite professors. He is very nice and definitely wants everyone to pass his class with an A. You do need to go to class because he explains the material and does lots of examples that will be VERY HELPFUL on the tests. To do well, just make sure you are participating and doing the things he says to do.
Absolutely terrible professor. I had taken his online course and it was an atrocity how hard it was. He offers hardly any material to study with and reads off of powerpoint slides that are more broad than the exams are. There was an exam that I had studied 8 days for and there were things on the exam that weren't on the slides. DO NOT TAKE THIS!
DO NO TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE WHATEVER YOU DO. It will be the worst mistake you make. I had to drop otherwise I would have failed. I will be taking this in person with a different professor last year. HORRIBLE ONLINE CLASS. Avoid at all costs. There are no sound to the lectures, so you can't even learn. This class made me so frustrated.
Taking this as a senior and is by far the worst class and professor I have ever had at Missouri State. 4 tests at 100 points each then only about 100 points for quizzes but not sure cause he doesn't make any sense. The first test is not bad but the rest is about 25 questions @ 4 pts each no partial credit and dont count on him to help you.
Worst online class. Doesnt respond to emails at all. Even in the discussion board. You dont get to know your grade through the semester because he waits till the end to manually grade everything. Lectures dont do any justice so you have to teach yourself everything. Id avoid him if you can.
ABSOLUTE WORST TEACHER AT MISSOURI STATE!! im warning you right now do not take sells he does not know how to teach and the tests and homework are actually impossible. hardest class ive ever taken and im barely passing.
Take this from a 4.0 student, TAKE ANOTHER PROFESSOR. Hardest class I have taken at missouri state as a junior. Homework is plentiful, but exams are extremely difficult. They are open note. Homework is worth almost nothing in terms of overall class points.
This teacher didn't realize till half way through the semester that the audio in his presentations didn't work. He then sent his students a link to make the audio work which ended up not working either. All there was to use to study was very vague power-points that would be much more helpful with audio. Super unprofessional on his parts
Very tough course especially for a required pre-req. He gets lost in his own stories most of the time and finds it funny when multiple answers in his power points are wrong. Would not recommend. Hes a sweet guy but a tough grader with very few points outside of tests and online quizzes per chapter.
Pat is an awesome professor to take seated. Lectures are very entertaining but he can get off track with stories. Not a lot of points outside of tests. The tests are open note except the first one. The last test is a group test. Go to class and print off the powerpoints to work through them with him. Final is optional!
First of all, Pat Sells is a great guy. If you take the time to meet with him or take his seated class, you'll probably have a good time. I, however, took his online class. The grade is determined almost entirely by the tests, and the homework provided does little to prepare you for them. If you want to pass his online class; schedule meetings.
Took his online stats class. He's absolutely unclear as to what you need to know for tests. His lectures contradict the book. Sometimes he asks content questions but never answers them in his lectures as if we're supposed to know the answers for the test. Some test questions aren't specific enough. He's just not good at communicating.
Absolutely horrible teacher. Avoid at all costs.
I dont recommend taking him online. He just posts powerpoints with no further explanation. He is not great at answering emails. He is very short and not willing to give a lot of help. It came to the point that classmates were emailing the entire class for help instead of him. If you do not learn well on your own QBA online with sells is not for you
One of the worst classes I've ever had. The lectures really don't help you understand and he goes off on a tangent 7/10 times. He "answers" questions by beating around the bush. I am a straight-A student and great at math and am having to drop this class because there is just no way possible to pass this class. STEER CLEAR!!!
Do not take this professor. He does not care AT ALL. He does not post any of the exams when the syllabus says they will be posted. He is slow to respond to emails if he responds. The class isnt too hard but Sells just sucks.
I have been a 3.5 GPA student throughout college and don't struggle with learning on my own but Prof Sells is a horrible professor. He is condescending in his emails and during lectures. There is no homework so all of the grade relies on tests. Had to drop the course
I had over a 3.9 GPA until this class. The book is useless. He reads straight off the slides while never providing examples. He takes weeks to respond to emails, and when he finally does he is condescending and provides no help. When you ask questions in class he degrades you for not understanding. Everyone is failing and he needs to be fired.
There were barely any grades, so you really had to study for the 4 tests we had. The only other grades were 5 pts for each homework quiz we did, which was not a lot. The lectures are often confusing and unorganized. I recommend going to his office hours to better understand the material or utilizing the Bear Claw
My class with Sells was the worst experience I have had at MSU. From day one, I felt like I was behind due to him not explaining where various numbers/symbols came from. I met with him outside of class to catch up then fell behind again after the next class. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You're better off teaching yourself with youtube tutorials.
He is one of the worst professors I have had at Missouri State. He explains everything so poorly and expects you to understand him. He throws equations at you with only random symbols and then tells you what they mean, quickly, then never again. They're also not written on the slides, so you're out of luck if you miss it, and It is easy to miss.
I would take any other teacher for this class. I don't usually care enough to review anyone, but this guy is off his rocker. He reads the text book definition of something, then tells you about his life story for half of class. He allows open notes on tests, but what he talks about doesn't always align with the tests. DO NOT TAKE.
Most boring un engaging lectures out of any teacher i've ever had. His second test did not match up with the review whatsoever, I think over half of his students failed it and the only thing he did was offer those students a retake of the test where you had to get at least a 70% on it to replace your grade with a 60%. Worst teacher.
Absolutely do not take this course unless you want to fail or waste your money.
Be prepared to teach yourself this entire class. Lectures seem all over the place with no clear line of thought. I would highly suggest taking Todd Daniel. You use Excel to do all the stats and his focus is much more on understanding when to use formulas instead of memorizing them.
Awful. Failed course
I took this class online. Sells did not communicate with his students in the online section. Per chapter, there is only 5 points available for homework, and then 100 point tests that most students failed. Mr. Sells gets defensive when being talked to by a student in a questionable way.
No communication with online class... makes you take the tests the same day as in person and only THAT day. 1st test was closed book, 2nd & 3rd tests were open book, open note and I completely failed it. If you are taking it online you CANNOT access your book anyways. Review before test? Useless as none of it was on test but maybe two questions.
Best teacher I have ever had at MSU. Very easy class. 100% recommend. Lectures are very fun and enjoyable. Easiest teacher Ive had at MSU. Take him
This is by far my favorite class ive ever taken. He's so funny and the tests were a breeze LEGIT EASY A+ if you go to class.
One of the worst teachers I have ever had in my life. This guys lectures make no sense and he talks about the most random stuff half of the time that have nothing to do with the class. His tests are super hard and half of the people in all of his classes get D's and F's on the tests. He bragged the first day that a lot of people fail his class.
If you take this professor, be prepared to study outside of the lectures. I cannot stress enough how much easier the class gets when you abondon this professor's teaching and go to other online resources. The lectures that this professor provide are unnecessarily complicated, and make the material extremely difficult to learn.
Do not take Sells if there are any other possible options. He doesn't teach, he only reads off of the slides in class. You will not learn a single thing. I am literally dropping this course because I haven't learned anything. Your grades are based on quizzes and exams.
Do not take Pat Sells if you can help it. This man does not really know what he is doing in terms of teaching. he will ramble on about his personal life and how he used to sell women's clothes and talks about "gut feelings" every class period. He only reads off the slides and fails to go into detail about his content. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Do not waste your time or money on this instructor. You do not learn anything and he does not teach. He reads slides with tons of information and does not elaborate on any of it. He doesn't do any problems. The ones on the slides are already filled out and he just reads them out and doesn't explain it. This man can breeze over 100 slides in an hour
This professor's class material is worthless. He gives one quiz per chapter only. This will not prepare you for your test at all, because he writes his test questions to be much more difficult. Worst Professor I could imagine. He spends more time on tangents of how he got to see females in swimwear in the retail business, than on coursework.
This class was awful in every way. Lectures and quizzes failed to prepare students with material that would find its way into his exams. Tests 2 & 3 are open note and most students still fail. I do not recommend this professor.
No clue how to use the internet. Average test grades were F or D for all his sections for this class. Idea of helping you study before a test is going through practice problems in class the day before, and not helping you through them or giving answers to check if you were right.
This low-level class shouldn't be as hard as it is but this guy makes it almost impossible by the way he teaches. Every other professor that teaches this class is way better than Mr. Sells and their students have much better grades than his. Avoid this man at all costs and wait for him to retire.
If you have the opportunity to not take this professor than take anybody else. Only reads from slides and when you go to him for help he just says "make a flow chart". Other classes allow the use of excel which is very helpful and it is more realistic knowing your employer isn't going to want you to write out every equation. Do not recommend.
In a math based class it's amazing how little he explained the math problems. His examples in class are wrong half the time. I reviewd my exams with him and he realized his answer key was wrong. If you get stuck with him, your best bet is to read the textbook and do the sample problems from it to prepare for exams. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Everyone has dropped this course atp in the semester. His lectures do NOT reflect exams. The only reason I'm passing is bc my sister is nice enough to tutor me. This man needs to be fired! not sure how the university is allowing hundreds of students to fail and drop such an important course for all business degrees. Useless.
If you have any chance to not take this professor please do so. He reads off the slides and provides no other information. If he does provide info he goes on a tangent for a half hour at a time and forgets the point. He has errors in quizzes and pp every chapter. Only grades are quizzes and tests. Absolutely horrible.
You will fail. I am an A student and had to drop this class. Lectures are irrelevant to the tests, which are 90% of your grade. The HW and quizzes have errors that force you to lose points. He provides no updates throughout the course. He just reads the already filled out slides in his videos as if you couldn't do that yourself. You've been warned.
In this class there are very few opportunities to gain points. This class is very exam heavy with each exam being about 20 percent of your grade. Very difficult and time consuming class.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! The teacher is horrible. He just reads from the slides and does not provide any useful info for the tests. Everything you learn from the slides and the few quizzes does not help you on tests. None of it is alike. I have great grades but this class was horrible. There is no homework at all, just a few quizzes worth 5 points.
Assignments consist of 10 questions worth 5 points. 4 exams each worth 20 percent of your grade. Notes allowed for exam 2, you will still fail. Lectures don't explain anything. Assignments provide no examples for tests and tests are purposely made misleading. Overall do not take this class with this professor.
Avoid this class at all costs. The professor barely explains the material and lectures are just reading slides. Exams have little relation to the content covered. The only way to survive is to rely on the textbook and unstuck ai for extra practice. Difficult class, not recommended.
