"Miss B" is the best. she worked in the field so she know her stuff. Miss B is willing to work with you. grades on 4 tests and some homework. tests are just like the homework, so read the book!! sometimes grades on a curve. I will be taking her for all three accounting classes. oh she also teaches economics too.

I don't know what these other people are saying! There is absolutely nothing negative to be said about Ms. B...she is the best teacher I ever had! She is constantly in touch with her students via email and she actually cares about her students. She is intelligent and witty and I would take her again in a heartbeat!

Ms. B is the best accounting teacher at Broward College! I am not naturally gifted in the area of accounting, but Ms. B took time to make sure that I understood everying and excel in class. She is an awesome professor, who communicates her ideas clearly, and is always in touch with students. If u want to learn alot from a cool lady take her class!

I've taken 3 Acct'g courses w/ Ms B & she's always been extremely involved & helpful w/her students. She ensures they understand the lessons & if any problems she makes herself readily available to assist & always with a positive & helpful attitude. She's kind & it's unfortunate some people take that as a weakness instead of a positive quality.

Mrs. B is a fun instructor. She cares about how well her students do in her class. She is big on reviewing each Chapter in the workbook and ensures that we all understand. I am completing my final of 3 accounting courses with her and I will surely miss her as my instructor.

Excellent teacher, great personality, pretty good knowledge of Accounting, is not to hard if you do your part, you will find excellent help at all time from teacher, when something is not clear you can always go back to the book.

Fun teacher, makes the class interesting. Is readily available by phone or email. Goes out of her way to give extra handouts and reviews. Class is pretty relaxed with the exception of the final which is very hard. Easy to make friends in her classes. Have taken her for ACCT 1 and 2, and will take her for 3. Some ppl took advantage of her.

Ms. B is a great professor, even if she is a socialist, (just kidding, inside joke?) She LOVEs accounting, almost an unhealthy affection (again just kidding), and wants all her students love it like she does. To do this she will take the time to really explain the text book and the assignments and throw in some real world examples to make it easily

Professor Bentley cares about your education and grasp of the material. She will use current events and other publications to assist in getting the knwoledge across to her students. Not too bad for a Democrat.

Very good professor. I enjoyed her class a lot! She's a little eccentric, but if you can get past it, she knows what she's doing. Mid-term is WAY easier than the final, so don't underestimate it. But if you actually show up and do the homework, you should do pretty well.

After taking a 10 year hiatus from school, I was dreading taking ACCT II after I pretty much forgot all of ACCT I. Mrs. B changed all that. She teaches all the important aspects of the book in her own way and is very engaging. She's pretty humorous and makes this incredibly hard material somehow easy with her homework assgnmnts and in class review.

Ms Bentley is a great teacher she is very articulate and does her best to make sure everyone learns.

Ms. Bently....if theres somthing I can say that all student will agree with is that she knows her material 10/10 in every class i've taken with her, but she's a little rusty when it comes to explaining it. No worries though, if your not shy enough to ask she'll always be there for you whether it's hw, take hom tests, or just in class assignments.

She is a wonderful professor, available at anytime via text message or email for questions. She explains the material over and over again and she gives handouts. Would definitly take her again and recommend her.

Professor Bentley is one of those rare teachers you'd find thats both friendly and knows the topic she's teaching. Though not clear 100% of the time (maybe 90%) i'd have to admit you're going to have to come out of your bubble, speak up and ask her to re-explain. But I must say, if you're both lazy and rude looking for an easy A don't bother her.

HAs her own ways of teaching that are different but definately helpful. Make sure you pay attention and study with groups outside of class. Most midterms are easy to pass even without much study.

Professor B is a special kind of teacher but you will get use to her. I highly recommend her if you are a fast learner as she goes pretty fast on that white board. She curves most of the grades. Ms. B is a FANTASTIC teacher! I took the blended fast-track ACG2001. She makes accounting fun. We laughed so much in her class. She is extremely smart, and really loves accounting. I really did not use my book, I used blackboard/connect instead. She cut down the homework a lot. Great teacher, TAKE HER!

Doc B was hands down the most interesting and exciting teacher I've had! She really enjoys her field (Acct) and definitely shows it! If you have to take acct or want to, she is your best chance of enjoying the experience of learning what her class has to offer.

Dr.B is a really fun teacher. You have fun in her class and she helps you if you don't understand. She gives HW, but you have plenty of time to finish it. She answers all her emails pretty fast. I bummed the final, but still survived with a B in her class. She is worth taking for accounting.

Doctor Bentley makes me an Accounting fan and she is very deligthful. She knows her subject and teaches it in away that every student that shows interest in the course, comes to class and do their homework consistently. Anyone taking this could definitely pass with a good and fair grade.

If your major is in Accounting, she should be your only choice. Took ACG2011 with her too. Wish I had taken her for my first Acct. class. Her classes should be labeled "Accounting Made Easy" because she knows her stuff. She grades fair, knows everyone by name and cares.She responds to your emails and text to assist with assign too. Accounting is defiantly one of the toughest subjects, in my opinion. That being said, I love this professor. Without her, I don't think I would ever grasp accounting. She is very dedicated and there for you every step of the way. She will be my professor for accounting 2 and managerial accounting for sure. I highly recommend this teacher.

I had Dr. B for all three accounting classes and it has been a pleasure being a part of it. Accounting can be very difficult to understand, especially Cengage lab. Dr. B will work with you, answer your emails, and texts! I recommend taking her class if your willing to work. It was nice to experience a professor that actually cares for the student.

Professor B is great. She is very fair grading. Even though this class is fairly tough as it is, the professor made it bearable. She will keep you laughing and has some great stories to tell from her career in finance. She always responds to emails. If you have a problem, she will work with you. Shes the BEST Accounting Professor to take! She gives you many handouts for each Chapter at the beginning of each class. As long as you do all of your assignments you shouldn't have a problem. She gives you her number and email if you have any questions or concerns about assignments. There's no way you can fail this course! Show up! Do work! Study!

I love Dr. Pat! I took her ACG2011 last semester and I am currently taking ACG2071 with her as well. She is very helpful, leaves a lot of homework (but that was expected). She answers emails/texts. Class is fun! Just make sure you come prepared and read the chapter before showing up, otherwise you will be lost.

Dr. Bentley is the BEST! She helps students get a good understanding of accounting. There is a lot of work, but you also learn plenty! This is the 3rd accounting class I took with her. I'd highly recommend her to anyone thinking of taking her!! She will take the time to make sure you understand what you're learning and correlate it to real life.

Professor B is the BEST accounting professor I have had. I came from oI have learned a lot in her 8 week blended class. She cares so much about your grade that you can take your exams and assignments TWICE if you need to better your grade. I found out that she has a ACG2071 class, and I redid my ED plan, to take that course.

I took ACG2001 with Professor Bentley and she (almost) inspired me to switch to an accounting major. In class, she really gives details on how to use accounting in real life. The class was a blended course with all of the online work due in Cengage. The best way to pass is to pace yourself and try to do an assignment or two a day. Good luck!

Bentley is an exceptional professor. I was pursuing a degree in Marketing, but once I enrolled into her class she inspired me to become a CPA. Cengage can be tedious, but with any accounting professor in BC you're going to use the program anyways. She is hilarious and will make the class as painless as possible. If you're smart you will take her.

Prof. B. is fantastic. I took her for all 3 accounting classes. Accounting is not easy, and cengage (the website that you will be doing your homework and tests) is not great. Prof. B. was able to work around the system's flaws and be there for us. Kudos for Prof. B. for always doing her best, and to always have such a great attitude!

All the work is done at home on Cengage. No tests or in class work. She tries to make sure everyone understands the lectures, if not she will teach until you understand. If you have a question she stays after class.

I reached out to her outside of class for help on the homework and she immediately responded within minutes ... I will definitely take her for accounting 2 and 3 for spring semester. She is awesome!

Dr. Bentley was a fantastic professor and made macroeconomics more digestible to comprehend. She was a positive and lively person that made learning fun. Dr. Bentley also gave wonderful life advice and she knows her students.

Professor Patricia is experienced and very smart! Her lectures are fast but great. If you miss the lectures however, you may fall behind. I took her for ACG2011 as well. Super recommend.

Super Awesome and Super Easy. I took her for Accounting 1,2,&3 and your grade is only based on Cengage; no D2L. However, I'm also taking her for Microeconomics where we have to use D2L and I also have an A in that class as well and even though we have to use D2L for that class it's only discussions and quizzes and the discussion are great topics.

Dr. B is an Amazing professor who cares about her students. If your struggling in her class she goes out her way to help you by either staying with you after class if she has time to spare or shell email you different resources to help you. By far she one of the best and well respected professors. Your truly lucky if you can get into her class.

Great teacher. She is very understanding and cares a lot about her subject. She connects with her students on a personal level and gives her email and phone number out, so she is accessible all the time. Not too many papers.

ive had Ms. B, 3 Courses now, & I can honestly say, as a self employed business owner of 10 years, it was very hard for me in the beginning of this class. I had to unlearn & relearn the theoretical way. Ms. B has a way of truly caring about her students and listening to your questions & finding the answers w/ you. Also Akeem is an amazing tutor.

Prof. B is by far my favorite Professor here at BC. I have had the privilege of taking all her Accounting classes and ECO2023 and can truly say she is a gem. Her lectures are great, you can tell she loves to teach, and she is super accessible if needed. Stay on top of your assignments (which are on Cengage) and there should be no reason to fail.

Dr.B did an awesome job with making ACG2011 and ACG2071 manageable, despite having to do so in an online setting. She's a sweet teacher who really cares about her students. She set up two wifi connections to ensure that both her zoom and BB collaborate attendees could have quality video. Send her an email and she will help you outside of class.

She communicates well. Accounting has its ups and downs but professor is sold and consistent. Book code is needed for online work. Professor likes her job which makes a difference.

3 things to describe Prof. Bentley is not enough. Besides being respectful and professional, she makes sure everyone understands her class. Her examples make this class looks easy, even though numbers are not my strong side. For lab, I strongly suggest to follow her lead. I procrastinated a bit, but she never leaves anyone behind. She is the best!

If you have a chance to take Prof. Bentley please don't hesitate this is the best non-stressful accounting class I have ever taken the assignments and tests are on Cengage, they are not frustrating at all, she puts every effort into her students to make sure you are understanding her lectures. This fall semester was great thank you, professor.

Great instructor! The course design itself was very difficult to complete. I spent way too much time on the work and tests. Tons to complete! You won't have a life if you take this class and another at the same time but the instructor will do what she can to assist. Assuming accounting is not your major, transfer in the credit if you can.

If you know the deal with the previous 2 accounting courses, the workload is the same. In my opinion, Zoom just made it easier. Lectures are recorded and an outline she writes is given for each chapter. We had plenty of extensions, but try to do a chapter a week so you don't fall behind. Dr. B was great, she is there for YOU, ask her anything

I had Dr. Bentley for accounting I, II, and managerial (all on Zoom). Dr. B makes learning accounting a lot easier. She gives handouts for each chapter, and is willing to go over anything if you have any questions. She also gives extensions for all the assignments. Dr. Bentley really wants her students to do well. I 100% recommend her!

Professor was great. Very knowledgeable. Homeworks are long, very similar to previous accounting classes no big deal. Would take this professor again!

P. Bentley is the best professor I ever had during my whole time in college. She cares about the students and tries to help in the best way possible. Her experience and high knowledge in economics, accounting, and finances make her the best in her area. I assure you an A or B at the least. Excellent person, great professor, she's just the best!!!

Dr. B. is a good professor. Attendance is very important for her even for a zoom class. This is how she count the participation. Every week she send handouts and record the class for us to review if we want. I will definitely take accounting 2 with her.

She is a nice professor, but you must teach yourself the material. I spent countless hours on this class each week. Reading the book and working ahead helps. There were 2 homework assignments, 1 test, and an extra credit assignment for every chapter with 9 total. 4 discussion posts as well but she doesn't grade them until the final week.

Dr. B. is an amazing professor. She makes the material super clear and is always available to help. Attendance is a must, but her recorded lectures and handouts are great study aids. I found Unstuck AI really helpful too.

I took ACG2001 fully online. She sends frequent emails to keep her students in the loop which is good, and the grading criteria is pretty clear. But beware on the workload you'll be getting taking this class.

Professor Bentley runs this class perfectly. The lessons are spaced out evenly and the discussion posts do an excellent job of tying what was just taught into the real world. 10/10 for an online course.

Took this class online. You won't be able to pass this class if you don't pay attention and take notes. Lots of reading and meticulous details. Practice and stay on top of deadlines since assignments can be very long. The teacher is a fair grader and communicates often, so stay in communication.

This professor is the best I've ever had. Homework was very straightforward and uniform all semester. Tests were also well organized, and there were 9, so you had plenty of chances to get a strong grade in the class (3 proctored). Just study using the textbook and homework, and the tests aren't terrible. Very easy A for such a hard course.
