Class is easy if you go to each class. She gives a lot of points for participation.

She is a great teacher! All you need to know is online, great study notes and everything. She also will let you make up missed classes in another one of her classes.

She's a great teacher. Gives you everything you need to pass her class and do well, depending on how much work you want to put in it. Breaks it down and very helpful!

Her lectures are fun and entertaining, though most of the time you will have no clue whats going on...Doesn't matter cause she puts all her notes online. So all you have to do is print them out for her tests and read over them the morning of the test.

Online class-test are 15 min w/ 12 ques. so it is tough. it was 8 wk so assignment were a bit tough but tolerable. highly reccomended for online students. can submit anything early but never late. overall highly reccomended

I took this as a telecourse. Notes were easy to follow--I'm just terrible at Science. But I still expect to get a "B" in the class. Maybe more studying would have helped.

She is a great teacher! I would take her for every Science class if I could. Gives quite a few weekly assignments but LOTS of extra credit if you ask for it.

I took her hybrid class and everything was really good. She was easy ot understand. You have weekly tests online that are 12 questions and you only have 15 minutes ... make sure you have your book handy just in case. Otherwise she was a really good teacher.

She is great!!! Really caring and loves to help. She will stay after class as long as you need her. Tests can be hard, but not if you study her notes plus read chapters. The lab was great! If you do good on your weekly labs, the tests are easy. Weekly labs are 70% and test (2) are 30% of your grade

The teacher is VERY nice. She rambles sometimes and is hard to understand. If you put forth effort in her class you will pass with a good grade. Her test are hard, so do good on the labs. Labs are 70% of the grade and you have 2 tests that are 30% of the grade. If you miss 1 lab u can make it up.

Was very nice and helpful. The labs were done in groups and counted as 70% of grade so it was easy to pass even if you did bad on the two tests. I would take her again:)

I'm not much into science, but I enjoyed her class. She made things fun and easy to understand with hands on activities. She also gives several opportunities for extra credit which can really add up. I suggest taking the online tests. Read the chapters and take good notes and it's not that hard.

Mrs. Crews is a wonderful teacher, she is very sweet and always willing to help. Highly recommended. Although you do have to pay attention and attend class...easy "A"

This professor is off the CHAIN!! She has the most incredible teaching methods. Tips: attend class every day, do all the extra credit, complete the journals, and study (not intensively) for the test. Easy A

I took the telecourse. The test were hard, but she grades on a BIG curve. She likes it if you call her or e-mail her with questions, and also if you go in and review your tests.

Prof. Crews was a joy to have for an instructor. She was fun and knew her subject. I did not want to take this class, but enjoyed it because of her teaching style. I would take her for another subject if she taught something else. GREAT LADY!

She is fairly clear and very helpful you have one discussion, two tests and one activity every week which was not to bad but the tests to me were a little difficult because there were 12 questions and only 15 minutes and the questions were somewhat hard she is very fair though.

Prof Crews made science interesting with hands on experiments during reg class, but her test are HARD. There are numerous chances for extra credit. Make sure you read the text and study the concepts for each section.

DO NOT TAKE HER ACCELERATED COURCES... Just come to class as much as you can to obtain bounus points, she gives them for anything and is very helpful, if the class was not at a fast pace and if it was not her first time teaching it that way I would've gotten an A

Prof Crews, I an excellent teacher and great for online classees, studying is the key. Try hard, she will meet you were you are! Not an easy "A", but you solid "B" with some studying and dedication. You will learn and she will keep you focused. The assignments are not hard the test/exams are timed,15min for 12-15 questions, study her notes.

She is very nice You will understand what she is teaching you but it will not help you on the tests read the book do all the journals study her notes available online I recommend printing the notes offline writing in answers and save it b/c the final is cummulative

Byy no means an easy A but if you work hard and study her online lectures you will do well. She gives every opportunity to earn extra credit, including extra credit on your final exam just for showing up in class every day and on time. You can get 12 points right on top of your final exam grade. She is GREAT, very nice & VERY patient.

Professor Crews is very silly and loves hands on experiments. She is very flexible with class if you tell her before hand you will be absent. There is barely any homework, just extra credit assignments which can be done during class. I definately recommend this professor!

Lots of discussions, but learned from them as well as the hands on activities. Made an A and you can too if you do the work. Several quizs with 14 questions and 20 minutes each. Read text prior to test taking.

Prof. Crews is very nice. Make sure to take very good notes in the journals and use follow the online lecture notes. She offers a lot of bonus point opportunities, so come to class.

Professor Crews is a very nice person. She responds to emails very quickly. There are a lot of discussions and activities, but the points from the activities add up. My advice - complete ALL of the assignments, activities, and STUDY for the exams.I made a C in the class because I didn't study for the exams and I didn't do all of the activities...

Online course. Very friendly, tries hard to help; willing to admit when she's made errors. In her Earth Science class she's done a superb job of assembling some fantastic interactive websites which greatly enhanced my understanding of the material. Text was well linked to her weird 14-question tests. I thought I would hate this, but was great!!

the teacher is awesome, the lab was great interresting/ mrs crews is willing to help u at all times. she is easy if u take the test online on time u will get an A+ ! SUPER EASY CLASS, the book is kool great pictures test are okay

Prof. Crews is an AWESOME teacher! It's def an A class. The only thing is that you have to look over the study guides and look it up in the book. If you want an A..its not hard to get. Shes a bit ditsy..but its comical and keeps the class in all laughs. Great examples.

I just completed a 12 week Oceanography course with Crews and made a "B." I'm now taking the Oceanography Lab with her. Crews will really go out of her way to help you and no question is a "wrong question." I enjoyed her class; she gave us a lot of interesting experiments which we could work in groups. For the lab, we even have a field trip. =)

Very nice and smart. Knows a lot and has a lot of visual examples to help explain things. 8 week hybrid was 8 classes. Did experiments and assignments in class and test online. Test were extremely difficult to make good grade. Go to class everyday on time for extra credit. If you show you are trying and go to class she will pass you.

She teaches as if its middle school, but will give university advanced tests. Her tests are nothing like what she teaches in class. They are extremely difficult to get a good grade on. But turn in your assignments, be in class, & you can still pass. Also, teaching methods are horrible. If you have to take her, Hybrid would be the best tactic.

Very good professor, extremely interested in students development. She taught me how to read a topographical map and geographical map. You do need to stay on top of your assignments and ask her for help when you need it. She appreciates it as well.

I took professor Crews for the four week lab and it went really well. She was extremely helpful throughout the experience and worked with you if you had any problems. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs to take a lab. The workload was not excessive and she allows you to work together so it goes by fairly quickly. TAKE HER

Very nice woman. Good deal of online work but if yo read the textbook prior to doing it you will pass. Provides a study guide for final exams. Lots of opportunities for extra credit.

Extremely nice lady. I took the hybrid class and as long as you did the online Wiley you did well in class. Exams are somewhat difficult, but she grades with a curve and you get bonus points for every day you're present for class.

Took the hybrid course, and as long as you show up and try, you will definitely pass. She isn't always clear in her directions, but if you ask her then she will definitely help you.

Im in the hybrid class. You have bonus point opportunities for your classwork grade and each week youre there you get 2 bonus points on your next exam! There are 3 weekly quizzes, 2 untimed you can take many times & 1 timed. Shes nice and easy going. She understands when you miss class and grades late work. Homework is easy. Take this professor!

Loved this hybrid class. She was not always clear but if you were confused all you had to do was ask. Normally she'd change the due date or what she wanted to do. She does not like being in class and is all business. More times than not class got out early. Rarely read the textbook. As long as you tried you did well.

She is a very good professor and will help you with any questions. Oceanography is somewhat simple, yet there are plenty of concepts to understand. This is a fun course to take, but should be taken seriously.

Awesome instructor. Very clear about assignments ans expectations. Attendance is a must, otherwise you will lose participation points. Very active course and the professor always helped with questions. Always an almost immediate response to emails no matter what day of week. I plan on taking her for Oceanography next semester.

This class was actually fun. You have weekly quizzes online, along with pre-lecture assignments. Make sure you do good on them or it will reflect your grade. Final was pretty easy if you study the study guide. Excellent summer course.

Excellent earth science teacher. The class is refreshingly simple and straightforward. Taught in a fun and interesting way with hands on in class activities. Prof Crews makes class interesting and fun, not to mention easy! The in class activities you work with the people at your table, makes it much easier. Also does a lot of hands on learning. No major projects, and only a midterm and a final. One of the easiest classes I've taken. Online quizzes are easy, just take notes in class and you'll be fine.

Professor Crews was a really nice teacher.Sometimes she was a bit difficult to understand when it came to directions on an assignment. Still she was always willing to answer any questions and help you. Field trip is MANDATORY. Not a hard class to pass.

I found the class to be very easy, at times her instructions were confusing but if you ask she will help. She also worked with my schedule and allowed to take a assignments home.

There are quizzes every day, which if you do well, they will replace your final exam score. The material she will be covering each class is always written on the board before class starts. There is a lot of extra credit opportunities available in this class. Make sure you do the online portion of the class to make sure you earn the grade you want.

I had fun in her class. If you're taking the class you should take the lab with it (if you need the lab) because it'll help you to understand if you're having trouble.

Easy class. I took her 12 week class when I should have taken the 7 week or something because we have class every other week in person and every other week online. I worked out well but still; it was that easy to me.

Professor Crews was a fantastic professor. If you study for the midterm and final, and do the homework and in-class problems, it is an easy A. She does do a lot of hands-on experiments, but it's not unbearable by any stretch!

This class was pretty easy if you came to class and paid attention. The labs were fun even for someone like me who isn't the least bit interested in Geology. I did not like the fact that all quizzes and assignments were online. It felt like I was doing the work of two classes, because the stuff she went over in class was not on the quizzes.

Numerous assignments through Wiley+, in class assignments, 5-minute pop quiz every class, extra credit given periodically. It's not really a hard class just make sure you attend every class because every point counts. :) Make the effort and you'll do just fine.

Professor Crews made this class interesting and fun! The activities she had set up helped you to visualize and understand what was being taught. Make sure you get to class on time so you can take her weekly quiz (it's given during the first 5 minutes of class). Show up, take notes, pay attention and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Overall, she is a great professor. DO NOT MISS CLASS and do not be tardy to class. Make sure to do all of the bonus point opportunities that are given on a regular. Study any notes covered in class because her 5 question quizzes contain information directly from notes taken during the previous class.

She is very helpful and kind. Most assignments allow for group work. There is a five minute quiz each week that is given at the beginning of class. Do not be late and DO NOT MISS CLASS. Missing one class could cause for a lost of nearly 25 points. Lots of bonus points and extra credit opportunities! It's almost impossible to fail this course.

Professor crews has very good lectures. Her notes are everything that Will be on quizzes, tests, and homework. There are five minutes quizzes at the very beginning of each class and the point are all added to your tests as bonus points. There are so much extra credit and bonus points, you shouldnt earn less then a B.

Professor Crews is dedicated to her course and to the students that are willing to get the best of her class. Every class is important due the lecture that will be part of the 5-question quiz that she gives it one time per week. The quizzes are pointes that are used toward the midterm and final exam. I found her teaching technique very helpful.

This class was tough but the teacher is great! I also took her ESS1000L class and a lot of things that came up in one class, came up again. She will work with you and help you but you need to work for it! I almost failed because I wasn't doing my part but she was so understanding and worked with me so I ended with a C in both classes.

I had this professor for GLY 1010C and ESC 1000. You do quite a few assignments in class, but they are not boring. The assignments are very helpful with being able to remember the material. You also have online assignments, reading and taking a quiz. You do a 5 minute quiz every morning, they are graded but also count as extra points on the tests.

I absolutely love Professor Crews. I took her Earth, Space & Science class and passed it. She is very helpful and gives extra credit. Attendance is mandatory because you definitely don't want to miss any information. She will help you if you don't understand the material. She gives good feedback and good lectures. Definitely would take her again.

Professor Crews is very nice and the class was not too difficult. She gave opportunities to earn exrtra credit each class. Lots of group work and interaction during labs. The only thing I did not like was the homework completed through McGraw Hill.
