Awesome teacher. Pastionate about Economics and teaching. Awesome curves! Always willing to help. Not an easy class, but if you work a little, you can make a B. If you give it your all you can get an A+. All notes online. Take her if you can!
for an older woman she is pretty fine. lectures are boring. webwork is easy. the tests suck. and don't eat ice cream in class or she'll kick you out!
pretty easy class. The test are a little hard but she gives A LOT of extra credit.
weird lady....not very clear on what she is teaching....tests are hard....take another teacher...class is completely pointless to go to because she can't teach worth anything .
In class she doesn't explain much of what you need for the test! So if you want an A then you need to teach yourself. Read all chapters, take notes, and understand the concepts to apply it. Oh and do the extra credit! Thats what gets you the the A! Do it!
She's nice and entertaining, but her lectures have nothing to do with the exam, unless you can teach yourself Economics, dont take her.
Impossible to take notes in her class. You have to teach yourself if you want to get an OK grade.
She is a nice lady that is very much into teaching. The mixed module class is easy if you read ALL the online notes and do her quizes on time. I never went to class and got an A just from reading all those notes. The team assigments are a b*** though.
I would definately recommend another teacher. Not a very pleasant experience at all. Her lectures are BORING and IRRELEVENT to the tests. Don't even bother going to her lectures if you do take this class.
Very good Economics teacher. She is very motivated about her work, and very willing to help. All the notes and assignments are online, so you don't even need to go to class. I didn't and still pulled off an A.
A challenging class - if you study you get an A. You learn so much in her class. Take advantage of all the extra credit & extra help. I finished the course with a 94 A =)
It was so hard to stay awake during her lectures! I was actually thrilled that I passed with a C so I don't have to take it over, definitely find another professor if you can!

Her online class was very hard. She was very unclear with the material, she puts notes up on the board and expects you to understand what it is. Homework was over 2 hours a week. I reccomend that you take the course with another teacher.
HARD class, coming from a straight A student! I took the M course thinking it was going to be a breeze... definatley my hardest class in my very academic schedule. Going to class is pointless, your better off reading to yourself. Take another teacher.
Wow what can I say, PAYING for online hw (aplia), 3-4 assignments a week, lecture is worthless, tests are tricky, her lecture teaches about hw youve already done! Avoid her "M" class at all costs
I honestly think this is the hardest class i have ever taken here at UCF. So much work for such a stupid pre-req class. DO NOT take the M course you WILL do bad unless you can teach yourself everything. TAKE ANOTHER TEACHER!!!! trust me!
Never before in my life have I despised a class with such a vehement and fiery passion.
The class is easy(B+ average on test). The teacher is nuts. Had to pay extra for online homework module(Aplia), and I'm failing it with flying colors.Prof gives graded HW BEFORE she teaches the material on it. Very difficult to learn this way.
This teacher is insane DONT TAKE HER ... I went to class and still have a D average right now. She thinks the students in her class are all future economists and she teaches liek we already are! SAVE yourself from this CRAZY woman!
not an easy class. You really need to read and make sure to do all the homeowork, quizes, and extra credit. Thank god I did that cause I got 1B and 2 D's on her test and came out w.a B.If you do that you will be fine.
Don't EVER take this teacher! She doesn't explain anything, only allows you to ask her 2 questions per semester and expects you to understand all this impossible Aplia homework. I had to drop this class! Don't take it!!
Its actually a pretty easy class if you have any background in Economics. The aplia work isn't as terrible as made out to be, usually one practice and two graded assignments a week, but not that bad. And the tests are so easy compared to other eco tests
defintly a class for the one who likes to spend alot of time on one class. you have to pay like $30 for Aplia(where all the HW is) and its due before the section is taught. tough to get a A.
The aplia is hard because you don't learn it until the class after it's due. Tests are pretty hard, and extra credit doesn't help a lot. She's very nice, but if you can take someone else and get an easy A, do it.
she is terrible. you have to pay 30 bucks for to join a site to do homework you will fail. too much work for introductory economics. i was going to have to work too hard to get a c so i dropped it after the first exam.
she's hot for an older lady! Her use of class time is disgusting. she'll go over a graph in the book for an hour while the class falls asleep and doesn't learn. Quote: Never before in my life have I despised a class with such a vehement and fiery passion.
Never opened book! Don't buy it! Aplia homework that you have to buy for $28 but there are chats so you can exchange all of your answers. All tests are graded on a curve and I haven't gotten lower than an A! Once a week class for an easy A!
What the heck? She gives us homework on stuff she hasn't taught us. And the day after the homework is due, she teaches us the subject. Call me crazy but it should go the other way around. Never in my life did I realize I could abhor a subject so much.
OK here's the breakdown she's nice and very funny in the morning, the hw online is hard and it takes a lil time, the classes are only helpful to a certain degree, and the tests are tricky and you basically have to self learn the material. expect a B or C
Lovely woman, loves Economics. I would NOT however reccomend taking an online course for Econ. WAY too difficult to teach to yourself, Aplia homework is very hard. Tests- Hard as well.
Ms. Euzent is a hottie. She is definitely eye candy. I recommend her. Surprisingly, she is a good teacher also. Her tests are easy, and her in class quizzes are a joke.
You need to be seriously disciplined for this class. Aplia costs $28, and is very hard. We learned about the work on the Aplia assignment the next day, which is backwards. Test are hard. Use black insert on book.
OMG! One of the worst classes I have ever taken! Never take this class with the half online option! I have never spent so much time on the computer for any class at this school. Shes nice but not an effective teacher.
She SUX! hated it the first time i stepped in class. she makes test days very random being that they are on the internet. makes you take tests that counts toward your grade during add/drop... she's crazy. yells at some sneezing... DON'T TAKE HER!! RUN!
Mix-mode class: This class is pretty decent if you take the time to study for the exams, but the Aplia assignments suck. If you put at least half effort into the class you should make a B at the least. But overall, pretty easy.
don't take this class, she'll tell u to go to her TA for everything, too much aplia stuff, waste of time. i had to teach myself everything! her class time is a waste, u dont have to go, but the aplia is hell! don't take this class!
Online homework is difficult and time consuming.
Young professor that still loves teaching & hasn't got a clue we dont care about eco yet. Doesn't seem too bright when she said she couldn't program our grades into excel and thinks basic algebra is hard. If you suck @ math take her- she cant do it either
The online class was easy, but slightly time consuming. She curves all her tests and her lectures once a week really help. Study and understand the material, you'll get at least a B.
Good teacher, really enjoys economics. Her lectures are just a reinforcement of the online modules. Exams are tough. Just make sure you really study the book and look over the mods. Not an easy A, only 3 exams, so don't bomb one. Be ready to study
The online class is great except for one thing - Aplia. But this is easily done by chat rooms where you can all help eachother. The tests seem to get easier each time - but the ONLY way to study for them is to read the chapters in the book.
Ms. Euzent rocks! She loves what she does and tries her best to make the class understand the material. Good choice!
ok, i rarely went to class and got an A. the exams can be tricky but if you read the book carefully the night before you'll be fine. just make sure to do all of the online stuff..its annoying but really helps your grade in the end
Ms Euzent did a complete 180 since i had her in the spring. She actually taught instead of reading from her online notes i still got a B but forth very little effort. Id def take her again.
Really good teacher. The online homework helps keep your grade up because you can work together. 3 exams can be tricky. I bought the book and maybe used it once or twice and still got a B. Go to class! She handed out her notes which are outlines the chapt
Mrs Euzent is great. I got an A in this course; I didn't think it was that tough. Aplia took some time, but it was a great learning tool. This is coming from someone who'd rather we on the beach than studying - but this class was relatively painless!!
I don't like the fact that when I emailed or called the teacher that she didn't respond. It took up took much time and counted towards our grade way too much. I am upset the the teacher
she is a good teacher, but all her assignments are online work and the work that is online and rules for it are dumb. the questions online are unclear and misleading.
I can't remember the last time I went to class, and I have a pretty high A. Online work is relatively easy and helps you understand..you basically teach yourself but I would definitely recommend her!!
Okay to take, must study! She is weird but cool.
She does everything online. Not only are the online quizzes hard, but they take forever. You have to go to class to understand what she is talking about. Heard other eco professors are easier.
This class is horrible! If you want to get higher than a C do not take her. I wouldn't recommend her if my life depended on it. This was absolutely the hardest class that i have taken at UCF! Stay Away!
should i take her or Barbra Moore, out of easiest.. .please help. Thanks
I would recommend her. Class is a waste of time so don't go. Read the book and do the practice tests and you will be fine. Would take her again.
She is nice as anything, except if you need her help. Going to class can be a waste of time, sometimes. The tests are BS. If you can avoid it, dont take the M class.
She is a great teacher. I you are the kind of person that can get easy busy work done online and just only study a little bit, you will do great. She also will help you in any way she can. She curves the grades nicely as well.
What a joke. She uses Aplia.com in her Mixed Mode class - I would never take this class in M mode again. The class itself is a snoozer. Tests are pretty difficult and her grading policy is wierd. I would avoid her, unless your good at this stuff on your own.
She's a good teacher. The Aplia was little hard but overall it was not bad.
ok class. dont buy the book. just do the aplia work and the modules. if you understand the aplia work you will do fine on the tests.
CLass sucks tests are hard peace im out
Shes horrible at teaching. I got a B in the class but I skipped class all the time because I never learned anything in there. Shes very boring and talks bout alot of stuff thats not related to eco. Her tests are alot like the practice tests on webct so study those if you take her.
THE HARDEST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN!! She was no help & class is a waste of time. She can easily make u feel stupid. I studied for days for the tests and could never get a passing grade. Test questions have nothing to do with anything you would expect or study. Take gov. if u can instead of Eco.
I really thought that she could have done better, but she didn't. Many of the aplia homeworks were very hard and many of the things she did not even go over in the class. The tests were very hard and I would not recommend her class to anyone.

okay, she is crazy!...it's easy to pull off a B, but an A is nearly impossible...this class sucks...don't take her
She is a nice person with good intetions. If you are good at studying then you will likely get an A. But, this is a harder professor. Try to find another first. If u get stuck with her, don't freak out. Just study. I got a B and didn'y study often. Warning - Class has anoying online work crap
She was an okay professor. Class wasn't too stimulating though. Tests weren't too bad, but could have been easier.
dropped the class after the first day, and all she did was pass out the syllabus. trust me, it was a great move on my part. for a while, while she was talking, i was debating whether to stay in class or go slit my wrists.
To pass this class and get an A you really need to study. Make sure you read each chapter teach yourself and do the homework and modules on webct. Don't attend her lectures unless its for the review.
good class but since its mostly online you really have to know the subject or be able to teach yourself. but she is there to help if needed. tests are short and easy and gives extra credit and curves.
Nice lady, has good intentions... but to much work and the tests are almost impossible to pull off with an A or B. Don't take her unless your REALLY interested in economics, if not you will be bored and lost. I ended up dropping the class :(
Most unorganized, unclear professor I have ever had! I took web course. Her webct setup was atrocious and her weekly assignments were unclear. Assignments not even remotely similar to what is in the modules. Taking this class was a big mistake. nice person but needs to work on teaching methods.
no need to go to class. READ THE BOOK and teach yourself. do the aplia assignments. i've seen her during her office hours and she is very helpful. drop the lowest 3 aplias and many extra credit opportunities. i got an F on my first test, read the book and got an A on my second. a B is easy to make.
This class has to be the worst class I have ever taken. She is very unorganized, and usually off topic. Her class is very hard and pointless to take.Definetly not an easy A. Avoid taking this class if possible or at least avoid it with Euzent as your professor
I had her online class. If you do the aplia assignments and online modules, you shouldn't have a hard time learning the concepts. Her tests do have some tricky questions but she gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. If you're responsible enough to do the work, this class should be easy.
She is a very nice lady and cares about her students. If you have problem talk to her and she will help. She is very accomidating and concerned. Study the night before tests for a few hours and you should be fine. Her stuff online is great for study material.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WHATSOEVER! take it if u want a C or below as a grade even after u do intense reading. her tests have nothing to do with the reading. i read every chapter thoroughly, and i got a C or below on the tests. She does not know how to teach. web assignments are a pain. i got a C :(
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, listen to these people saying Professor Euzent is bad in any way. Prof. Euzent is passionate about her job, makes lectures interesting, curves most tests, and gives loads of EC. If you don't get an A in this class, you didn't try, because it's ridiculously easy.
The graded Aplia assignments and tests were much harder than anything covered in the book.I had no problem teaching myself what was in the text but still struggled on tests. She did offer easy extra credit.I got a B.
Definitely take her online if you can. The material is hard either way, but she always adjusts curriculum according to student performance (including test curves), and will give you SO much extra credit. My efforts probably earned a B, but she seems to know just when extra credit is needed...so A+ !
Macro isnt an easy subject to begin with so whatever teacher you take is going to be hard. But Euzent gives crazy amounts of extra credit and huge curves on tests. Take advantage of all the practice work she gives you..it really does help! She is always available for students, i highly recommend her
Took her online, lots of busy work, just read the chapters before you do the aplia. Tests just like the practice tests, so study those. The gives tons of EC and Curves tests...I would take her again.
I had a half online/half lecture class with her. Not that helpful. Just study the aplia problems, practice tests, and READ the book, you should be okay. I don't think I would take her again though...
Class is a waste of time. If you want an easy A... READ EACH CHAPTER (only 1 per week!), do th online homework, and study the online review and the online homework before each test. If she gives a practice test... DO IT, AND STUDY IT! THE TESTS ARE VERY SIMILAR TO THE PRACTICE TESTS! She also gives several opportunities for extra credit.
Took the M course. Class was pretty easy. I used my book for the online test and hw. Going to class is a waste of time. Don't piss this lady off though. She has a little temper. I didn't really like her personally but the class was easy. I would take her again. My only regret is going to class at all.
Test and quizzes from the book and homework (Aplia), so do both. Also gives a few points extra credit. Only two tests and two quizzes, though. Pretty nice lady, I thought. Go to class because she draws lots of graphs and some of her examples end up as quiz questions.
Hey is a very good teacher, He loves helping his students and he's always there when you need him. if you need a quick general education course, this is the one to take.
hard teacher...i hated micro...but she does make it interesting...i just wasnt into it over summer...the mix mode gives you less class time but ALOT more homework and online modules....
This class was WAY too difficult, and her lectures were always cut short because she spent most of the time talking about unrelated things to the subject. Tests were insanely hard, and homework assignments are always bad.
I hate economics and have tried this class for the 2nd time. Great lady-so sweet in lecture and willing to help. Very comical and hard working.
Great Teacher! Funny, easy to understand, and goes out of her way to help you. Aplia isn't the funnest, but you have to do some hands on experiance.
Had this Prof for a web enhanced class so I only saw her once a week for an hour. Gives you lots of resources to help you learn - you'll use them too. Not sure how she'd be in a straight lecture class. Cares. Knows her stuff.
I took this class and it was mostly on the web. I met with a large lecture group once a week for an hour. I didnt really like this class at all. ALL the work and tests are ONLINE!! I felt like the teacher would go off on tangents in class. She is kinda funny, but when you are trying to grasp a concept it can be kinda of annoying.
I took the M course and found that going to class helps very little. There is a practice hw for every hw which makes them pretty easy. She gave us 5 free hw passes too! Tests and quizzes are challenging, but if you do the self-tests and take the practice exams you will do well. She also curves tests and quizzes!
I think I took the M course too.Shes a funny and excited teacher.Shell keep you awake.HW isnt too hard. She does give xtra credit. We got one for just being there in class.Make sure you keep up with the homework assignments,u have a whole week to do them.I would suggest anyone have her as a professor in Macro.
I had it one day a week with the rest on line, the test before the midterm and final bring you up alot and she curves, aplia sucks tho, it was nothing like the test. I never went to class and still did very well =)
very good teacher. go to her class w/mix/mode because if you do bad in the class, but go see her to review your tests, you will get a good grade b/c she sees that you're showin' up 2 class, even though it'll be like 20/300 that attends, and 5/300 that show up to review what they did wrong on their tests.
Went to class for about the first 5 weeks. Took the M course. So easy if you ever had Economics in high school. Do the homework and the extra credit. Free homework passes! Curves all the tests. Easy grade.
Ms. E is alright .Does curve tests, but aplia is both a pain and atrocity to work with. Sucked at economics but still did fairly well..going to class doesnt do much, so id advise studying thoroughly. Gives free hw passes, but watch for tricky questions on tests.know your material! kinda weird at times...
She is very nice. Tests are easy and straight forward!
good teacher. Aplia sucks ass though and takes a lot of time, but it also helps you to study for the tests and keeps you updated on the information. If you dont go to class you miss out on a lot.
okay teacher, really hyper. not necessary to go to lecture unless you have questions. aplia is by far the most annoying thing to do, homework passes are also a plus.
This class is the worst. I did not find her helpful. Theere is no reason to go to class EVER. The notes are online if you want them. There is WebCT AND Aplia (a really dumb homework thing that you'll grow to hate). I had to use a grade forgiveness on this class. Do not take her. Do NOT take her.
Bad Class! Aplia takes forever and you have to do it every week. I went to every class and it was long and boring the value of the notes I got any other teacher would have given in 30 -45 min and it took her 75min. She talks a lot about not class related stuff. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!
Horrible class, aplia sucks, class boring. dont take this class if you dont have to!!
Boring class, especially if your really tired. She laughs at everything, so be prepared for constant laughter when nothing is funny. She is very educated in her lessons though
She is definetley too excited about economics, but as far as the actual class goes....You don't HAVE to go to class because she puts her exact notes up online, some homework assignments are tricky others are easy, tests are ok and she offers about 5-6 extra credit oppurtunities throughout the semester. I hate economics and easily got a B!
Well organized instruction online and in class. Lectures are helpful but if you work through her website you can easily get a B. Stay on task though. Organization is key!
She is a great professor but her exams are ridiculous, each question is worth 8.3 points. She gives a lot of extra credit points to help improve your grades and she is very helpful. If you want to take this professor and you need an A in the class, be prepared to be bored in lecture and study enough to knoe the material like the back of your hands.
I really liked her...she's a fun teacher and her exams aren't difficult as long as you study what's on her review. She hands out extra credit and there are these aplia problems which aren't bad once you get the hang of them. I got an easy B and could have even gotten an A had I been more interested...definitely take her.

Make sure to take her MIXED/MODE media version of the class. Out of 300, only 20 would show up, and the class was only one tuesday out of the week for the regular class time of 1hr 15mins. Go to her office after EVERY test. And make sure to communicate. She will be leniant. But a very intelligent person.
Excellent teacher, really knows her stuff. Keep up with the lectures and do the homework and the practice tests and you can easily ace this class. I didn't go to a single lec after midterm and still ended up with a B.
I recieved an A & you can too! If you keep up with the course plan that she assigns on Aplia and do the extra credit assignments also read the material! It may look like it's very difficult to get an A in her class but if you do everything I mentioned and also do well on exams you will end up with the average you are looking for! GL :)
As long as you do the work and follow her schedule, you should do well. Excellent structure, very clear, very friendly. She clearly lays out the gameplan for getting an A. I would defintely take more courses taught by her.
Mirco sucks no matter what teacher you get. But this one is the best, no question and thats all I have to say.
Ms. Euzent is an extremely nice lady. The course had only 3 tests all of which were easy. If you do the online assignments and show up for your tests you should get an A no problem.
Don't take the online class if you can help it. She is smart but not helpful for distance students. Mandantory exams at main campus only. Communication and access difficult. Makes confusing mistakes (dates, figures etc). She censors (deletes postings) if she doesn't like what you say.
The person below me obviously got a crappy grade on the exam yesterday. You knew what you were getting into when you signed up for the class; you could've dropped it. The class is easy if you work for it. I pulled an A and I don't know what's going on in that class.
I HATED microeconomics. I was dreading macro! However, it turned out to be much better than I thought. I took the online class & the Aplia software is awesome! Prof Euzent is very helpful & gives plenty of xtra credit. Probably the only class this semester where I feel like I learned something useful. Thank you Prof. Euzent & thank you Aplia!
I did not like the class because it was half online and half in class. Going to class seemed quite pointless, however, I would not know, I never went. The online class is easy as long as you keep up and study!
I took the Reduced time class. I went to class the first day and didn't go back ever since. She posts all her notes online and they are very thorough so if you study those you will have no trouble with the homework and tests. Aplia assignments, 2 tests and a final make up almost all of your grade, plus she offers a lot of extra credit. Easy A!
this class is really tough. she doesn't help much either and can be very confusing.
The material isn't too hard to understand if you really try & actually go to class. I made the mistake of never going, but i managed a B- still. I went a couple of times, and she seemed like a pretty good professor, but all of her assignments/notes are online
Macro as a whole is a pretty dificult subject to understand but she made it somewhat managable. I had to work hard int his course but managed to pull of a B, and she helps a lot with extra credit. I just hate aplia and I would not sugest doing redcued class time if you hate doing online work.
She makes confusing mistakes in lecture and with online calendar. Very annoying and scattered. Difficult to communicate with. Never showed up for personal appointment. Doesn't make online exams available for review. Try another prof if you have to take this class or you'll be sorry - I was.
Take the mixed mode class. You can teach yourself from Aplia. Lectures are also helpful sometimes. Her tests get harder and harder as the semester goes on because they don't focus on the concepts as much they do with how well you memorized the text. Outline every aplia chapter, do the WebCT quizes, and extra credit. Do that and you'll get an A
This class is not that bad. It's not that hard to get a B, but pretty hard to get an A. You have to understand the material. She is really nice and cares a lot about the students. She ended up dropping the lowest 4 aplia homework grade which was really nice. She offers a lot of extra credit. Not a bad professor. Tests are hard.
I took the mixed mode class and I actually found this class to be somewhat difficult.Make sure to keep up with the work and study hard for tests, because the test questions are kind of strange.I found going to class to be kind of useless (you can print notes off webct).Make sure to do the aplia hw and the extra credit, it helps out your grade a lot
Euzent is a little crazy but she's harmless and well intentioned. I got an A by taking notes in class every week, reading the chapters and doing the assignments on time, it's really that easy. Use common sense on tests, it's not as complicated as it seems.
She is nice and tries to be helpful during the lectures but her class is hard. Be sure to do the HW, and all the extra credit it helps. The test suck be sure to review your HW before the test and read the book I didn't and I had a hard time. You dont have to go to the lectures, half the time she makes stuff more confusing, but she is entertaining
she sucks.
Do ALL the extra credit and get A's on the Aplia work, they help your grade ALOT. The test seem hard but it's just because it's based more on applying what you learned in real life situations instead of memorizing definitions and such. I only went to class twice but I heard it can help, but if you go and don't like it, then just teach yourself.
Macro is just a difficult course which ever way you look at it. Her personality makes her an entertaining professor. Her online modules are helpful and she offers a good bit of extra credit. It sucks having to do aplia every week but it's not horrible. Test aren't insane but they aren't easy. Expect to study for this course.
i have no idea what she is talking about in class. macro is easy at first but gets hard and confusing. her tests are online at the comp lab but are really hard even with the index card you can bring. always do hw and extra credit to raise your grade. don't take if you don't have to. she's a little crazy!
Do not take her if you don't have to. She is a nice enough lady but her lectures are extremely boring. The tests are really hard and require you to have an excellent grasp of the concepts taught. The reviews and self-tests don't help at all. If you do take her, make sure you stay on top of your Aplia HW and do all extra credit.
Macro is a tough class. You MUST read, go to class, and STUDY. She is a tough teacher but if you the three things above you will be able to pull B for sure. An A with her is tough to get in my opinion. Not a bad teacher... I'm sure there are better. She was very intergetic in class which helps because the material gets boring.
I had her video class during the summer. She talks slowly, so I changed the player speed to 2x so that her 1 1/2 hour lectures would only last 45 minutes. You can get low B's on all of her tests and still get an A if you do all of the extra credit she offers. Easy A.
I had her online class over summer.Teaches directly from the book, almost word for word. Watched the first 3 videos and didnt watch another till the final exam review. It did take a lot of work because I basically taught myself. Do all the aplia work and extra credit. Really helps out your grade. Pulled an A in the class.
took class online. Teacher very easy to understand and very clear, will answer your questions promptly, not super easy, but fair.
she is awesome... I love her humor and her examples
Euzent is a great teacher and is extremely helpful. She wishes all of her students to succeed. She's also a bit eccentric, which makes a very boring subject quite entertaining. I took her in the online section during the Summer and got an A. Just do all your Aplia and a bit of studying and you will be fine. I'd say easy B, harder A.
Amazing teacher. She is so sweet and she makes what would be a horrible class bearable. She is very very helpful and very nice if you go to office hours; she showed me 3 more ways than i already knew to study for a test. I wish i could take her for every class. Couldn't find a sweeter and more fair teacher!
I've only been to the class once, but she was fun. You need to understand the concepts to pass the tests, but they're not hard. Lots of extra credit. I have a 105 in the class.
Tests are hard! Lots of homework due over the weekend too. She is very nice though, enjoys her subject and has a lot of excitement and silly little jokes/phrases. Dont buy the book you can read it online. Print the notes out and read beforehand because she flies through the powerpoint fast and you can't keep up.
Decent teacher, assigns a lot of online homework and pulls random question on tests that I don't remember from lectures. Overall just an average teacher. Do not take the video class its extremely boring, you will end up facebooking and not watching them and falling weeks behind.
tests are different from lectures--beware. keep up with the xtra credit, theres one that webct does not notify you of and she doesnt care to remind you either. she does not help through emails, you have to go to her office. take something else if you can help it. youll learn to hate economics if you dont already.
she reads what students write about her and continues to do the same things people complain about. she knows what shes doing wrong yet does nothing to rectify it. you know its not the students when EVERYONE is doing bad. shes an average teacher. how do you explain an A in thermodynamics and a C in economics?
Even though the teacher acted like she was on crack, the class itself was really easy. Offers a ton of extra credit, and allows 3x5 for test. Just do the aplia and study for the tests and you cant go wrong.
Lots of extra credit. Can bring 3x5 card to testing center. Got 80 and 84 on exams and still got an A. Just keep up with extra credit. Took video class, only watched test reviews, read out of study guide (chapter in 4 pages. Aplia costs like $40 if you don't buy a new textbook. Fairly good experience.
Not too bad of a teacher. She is a bit weird, but she puts a lot of effort into her classes. Her lectures are boring, but they help and she does offer lots of extra credit. I studied a lot and got an A, so it is very possible to do well. Just make sure you read the book and do the Aplia Homework!
Aplia online work was easy. Tests were not even CLOSE to work that had to be turned in every week. Online graded some problems wrong, I emailed the teacher.. and she never fixed my grade. If you email her for help, she takes points off (listed in syllabus). Above all a terrible teacher for videostreaming class!
Her class was easy- I didn't go to class at all- just did the online stuff and went to the lab for tests.
she is boring and left ucf for medical reasons. her tests test every little important aspect. this class is really focused on how economics is structured. every process is important. it was hard for me to study for this class. gotta read more than 2 times. aplia hw is useless. studyguide are general and EC doesnt help much.
took class reduced time where only had class 50 mins a week. those 50 mins were a complete waste. just do the online homework and quizzes and study from those for tests. i got a b, but two of my roomates both got c's.
Took the online mode. Got a C due to very hard tests. Homework is useless, but still difficult. Basically a Teach-Yourself class. Not an easy class.
Horrible professor. Her lectures did not help at all for the tests. I read the chapters and understood then listened to her lectures and got completely confused. Took it in summer and it was way too much work for a 6 week class. Would not recommend even bothering watching the lectures, and do the extra credit it helps!!
It was lot of work and had to work part time to keep up almost quit my job :) I liked her she is very interesting. Study from the book and DO NOT GET BEHIND so you keep your job lol
I took the summer class online, wasnt that bad. just watch the videos everyday and dont get behind. reviews r pretty useless. Test arent that hard if u actually pay attention to videos and follow along with the notes she posts up . i just watched the videos, did all the extra credit and wrote alot on my notecard and ended up with an A in the class.
I took this class online, her lectures were very boring but she was a very nice lady. I suggest reading the book, watch/go to the class before the test, do aplia and do the extra credit- you're guranteed a B.
Horrible Teacher! Not organized or helpful. Take SOMEONE else if you can otherwise you will be teaching yourself!
A very organized teacher, she follows her syllabus to the last word. I found the optional study guide to be extremely useful. it cuts out all the extra crap that the real textbook has and gives you what you need to know. She is very nice and she is willing to answer questions and to help you during her office hours. Its not an easy class though.
This is a tough class but not impossible to get an A, her delivery of the information is great, she actually teaches it like an introductory class and revisits anything you have questions about. Make sure you keep up with the lectures and homework but overall I thought she was great
This teacher is worthless honestly. A very nice lady be cannot seem to keep herself on track. If you take the web streaming class you will fall asleep,be sure to put the speed up for the video b/c she talks way too slow and babbles alot. Overall class is not too hard as long as you put time into and read every chapter and do hw/ec.Study for tests!
The lectures are kinda boring but you can speed them up if you take the online class. Plus, she gives crazy extra credit. There are two tests and a final and she gives a possible 8 extra credit point for each.
Taking Prof. Euzent's online class is like watching a little kid talk about their favorite toy. She is quirky, funny, and has an excellent (albeit odd) sense of humor. She can sometimes be unclear but often recognizes if she is an rephrases. The Aplia workload is a bit of a turnoff (and the price too). I recommend her courses.
Great teacher! Goes over everything well, provides examples, gives homework that reflects the material in the book. Provides a study guide for the exam that is very similar to the exam. Just follow along!
don't go to class. you can read the book and teach yourself the material. easy class.
She LOVES this stuff and it shows in her style. I went to some of the lectures, but watched most of them on the live stream. You MUST view the lectures. The Aplia assignments are mostly from the book. The exam questions didn't seem to resemble the formatting of the study and homework assignments. Not her fault though, she's really quite good.
Economics is my weakest area of study, but thanks to Euzent I have finally understood the material. She is extremely passionate about everything economics and genuinely wants her students to succeed. Her method of teaching seemed to click with me and I got an A in the class. I'm taking her again for ECO 2013 and I recommend her to everybody.
Professor Euzent was great! She lit a fire in me for Economics and I've never been interested in it before! Always excited and bouncy. She is by far the best professor I have had at UCF. Aplia (HW) is also great, but you do have to keep up with it. The book comes online with Aplia, which is great. Tests are managable and extra credit is plenti
Great Teacher!!! GO TO CLASS WITH THE POWERPOINT!!! Extremely helpful not a fun topic but she makes it bearable. Tons of extra credit available. I would take her again but I HATE ECONOMICS!!!!
i took videostreaming macro econ with her.i watched only a few lectures and did minimum reading and got a B in the class. its really not that bad as some people say it is. i took micro before which could be why but im not the only person who felt this way.she offers a lot of extra credit which is amazing cuz most teachers dont.i would recommend thi
Took her online macro class. Never watched one lecture, did the homework and just read the answers to the practice exams a few times and got a B. You have to work for an A but the class is definitely a guaranteed B.
saw lectures online got a 99% or 100% or higher with EC easier than art history or calc 3 for sure... she looks so young in the above picture
I absolutely hate economics. I stopped going to class after the first week and got an easy B in the class without studying once. It's a very easy class if you understand the concepts. The Aplia homework section is also pretty nice.
idk what some people are talking about thinking this class is so hard. not only is the class easy but she gives like 8 points of extra credit that adds directly to each test grade and she is a really clear and organized professor.
I would recommend everyone to take Professor Euzent's economics class. She makes the class interesting by using examples that we can relate. She also takes her time with every lecture, not rushing through if we fall behind. I cannot believe I'm about to say this, but she makes economics fun. Euzent really cares about her students' success.
Had her for 2013+2023, easy A. Aplia=free grade boost, and there were test avgs of like 88%. Quit college if you can't get a B in her class. I showed up once or twice for class and she's fun+interesting to listen to, but attendance is unnecessary for an easy A.
She is a great teacher.I hated economics and she made it easy and understandable. She lets you use 3x5 cards on every test and the homework is online and it is easy and very helpful because it explains all the answers. She offers alot of extra credit and she has a great personality that makes class fun.I used to hate ECO and now I really like it A+++
Euzent is an interesting teacher. She can be funny at times, mainly just goofy. From what I hear about the other teacher, she is much better. She tries to make it interesting, which is hard to do. Her tests are easy and so is the homework. Easy A.
Class can be kinda dry, but its economics and she makes an effort to connect things to current issues. As long as u put effort into doing the hw/aplia and review for the exams ull do fine.
The class itself obviously is pretty boring, but she makes it as interesting as it can be. Aplia isn't too bad, some can be long. Offers 10+ points extra credit each test, along with a very thorough practice test. Definitely recommended!
ok, if you had planned on going to HARVARD you'll be OK..if not, dont take! material is straight from a Harvard grad and she dosnt even know some of the stuff she has in the notes, nor can she even do our homework that WE GET GRADED ON! pretty lame to be truthful! very nice person, but its confusing to students when the teacher is confused.
She's a little wacky in class, but not absolutely crazy. Enough just to make you chuckle. She's not great at explaining things, but Aplia helps out for the greater detail. Gives A LOT of extra credit for each test. Tests were pretty hard, but with the extra credit, getting a B isn't too hard.
Economics is not my subject but she made the class easier. What really helped me out was the extra credit PERCENTAGE points for each test. If you are choosing between Euzent and Moore..do yourself a favor and choose Euzent. I wish I had for macro.
I took Video Steaming MacroEconomics with her. She's soo sweet and really wants her students to pass. She gives about 4 extra credit percent points for each test. There are two tests, aplia homework grade and the final. It's a super easy class, but you have to study every single little detail to get an A. Easy B class.
This class is easy!!!!!!! All you have to do is listen to her and you can learn everything. She gives a lot of extra credit on the tests which helps a lot! She's such a nice lady and tries to make the class interesting and easy. Definitely take her!!!
I took the online video course, and she kept it interesting to watch. She is always in a positive mood and seems excited about what she is teaching. She goes over the material in a way that makes it easy to understand. I just hope that the rest of my professors will be like her.
I took this class online and never watched any of the lectures. If you read the book you'll do fine, especially with all the extra credit she gives. Don't buy the book, just buy the access code for aplia and read the book online, its much cheaper.
I would take another class with this professor. I wouldn't say the class was easy but she made everything possible for you to understand and plenty of opportunities for you to improve your grade. Good Luck
Euzent has a high interest in teaching this class. This class is moderately difficult for the above-average student; if you start early, read the book thoroughly, and do extra credit, you'll earn an 'A' just like I did. Aplia (homework program) is user-friendly, includes a pdf e-book, and is fun when manipulating the graphs.
Dr. Euzent is a great, energetic, teacher that loves teaching this course and knows her stuff. This class is far from easy if you are not into economics at all like me. Tests are hard and must study hard, but she is very helpful. Aplia homework helps you understand concepts and she tries to keep videos fun, but tends to ramble on at times.
I took her online. She seems like a really nice lady. I would do great on the homework but when I took the test I usually had my information all backwards. Macro is confusing already but her test made it worse. I never made higher than a C+ but made a 97% on her homework. Go figure. Just be careful and play extremely close attention.
Prof Euzent really seems to care about her students. She is funny. However, the online lecture just seems to last a little bit too long, so if you get distracted easily it may not be good to take this class online. The final was difficult, I got a D, but the other tests with the notecard and homework, plus the extra credit, allowed me get an A.
Prof Euzent is a wonderful teacher!! I hated economics in high school but have actually enjoyed learning about it in her class. She really wants her students to do well. She offers extra credit on every test and is willing to help you! I got an A in the course, but had to work for it. I really do highly recommend her! GREAT teacher!! :)
I never went to class or looked at power points and pulled off a decent grade. She tries to help you as much as she can, but the class is difficult. Gives extra credit which really helps on the tests.
I spent one afternoon a week on this course. Read the book, watched the videos, then did the homework. Use the practice tests to figure out what to put on your flashcard. There's a ton of extra credit. Do them. She's a really great professor. Tests are very fair and the course in general wasn't time consuming in the least.
Not an easy A but definitely easier than most classes. I got an A but i put in the work. If you do the homework and study the practice tests you should have no problem with this class.
Genuinely cares about students and the subject. Lots of extra credit opportunities. She allows a notecard front and back for the tests. Practice tests are similar to the tests. Definitely possible to get an A in this class, I hardly studied and got a B.
Study and you will get an A. You get to use a 3 x 5 notecard front and back for tests which are similar but not exactly like the practice tests. the grade is made up of three exams, all 50 questions, and aplia assignments.
She is a really nice teacher. She gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. you don't actually have to go to the class bc She posts the notes on webcourses. there are blanks in her notes that if you go to class she tells you what goes in the spots but if you don't go to class the information isn't hard to find in the chapter.
She's awesome!! Very enthusiastic about economics so it makes it more interesting to watch lectures. Also very generous and understanding.
The best Professor I've had at UCF! Although Economics wasn't my cup of tea, she definitely made me want to attend class because of her passion for the subject. She is really funny, energetic, and helpful too! She really does care about her students! I did way better than I could have ever expected, and she gave a lot of extra credit.
This prof is ehhh. She seems nice, but it's just a face she puts on for the camera. Someone walked in late one day and she completely lost it. The class sucks, but it's not impossible. She explains things okay but you'll def have to read and study the chapters multiple times. I give her a C+ Take her if she's the only option.
She really loves the subject of macro economics but has a fake attitude in class sometimes for the camera. Aplia assignments are annoying because your attempts are averaged together if any answers are wrong.
She is a pretty good teacher. I would take her again. I didn't watch all the lectures I just studied from the book (which is on the Aplia website) and the homework assignments and got a B+. There are 3 midterms, which she drops the lowest of the 3, and then an accumulative final exam. I have no interest in economics but it's not hard if you study.
taught myself by reading textbook. buy old version of textbook. need to understand because homework and quizzes are graded for accuracy. need to understand reading because exam questions require some time for thinking. need scratch paper to draw graphs. students are left to independently learn. waste of money to pay professor.
Great teacher, loved her teaching style. Gives you the basis for all test and assignments, if you read and study, an A is possible. Gives out extra credit and drops lower exam grade.
Someone recommended Professor Euzent, and I am so glad she did! I hear horror stories about economics classes, but the professor did a wonderful job at teaching and providing resources to her students. She gave out lots of extra credit and her TA did review sessions. It helps to do the homework from Aplia before tests. It's manageable to get an A!
Real nice and enthusiastic teacher. I should have gotten an A in her class, but got a B since I took a good workload this semester. She keeps it all very interesting and is easy to pay attention too. She assigns HW which ends up helping the grade, several extra credits, drops lowest exam. How can you hate her? TAKE PROF. EUZENT! Shes a sweetie
Great class, lots of extra credit, and all homework on aplia. 2/3 exams count and the final.
She's very passionate about Economics! She's great! Lots of extra credit (Aplia+Survey+otherstuff). Final is mandatory. She shares quite a bit of outside info which I think it's why the attendence shrunk, but she's still great. I have very little interest in economics. Should of gotten an A (less than a pt -_-), but was busy with GClub and Chem.
Professor Euzent was great! If you go to class, you don't need the textbook, you fill in notes in class and she explains everything clearly. Class wasn't always exciting, but it was so helpful. Definitely take her
Teacher is very rude and is very unhelpful with e-mail responses. The class is okay, and you can tell she is very knowledgable about economics. She does not put students as a priority though. Do not buy physical text book as there is one that is included in Aplia (the required program to do assignments)
She's a nice lady, but couldn't stand the class. She'd sometimes go off subject and start talking about something else and completely lose me. Long HW assignments on Aplia weekly. Tests were still hard even though she allows a 3x5 card cheat sheet. Still made a B in class, but def had to work for it!
I went to class the first week and made a B. As long as you keep up with turning in assignments you'll do fine. The homework assignments on aplia matched perfectly with the book. She has up practice test so if you want to practice right before the actually test, it helps. The class was quite the cake walk.
Euzent tries hard to make a dull topic interesting, though she does tend to go off on a lot of tangents. Online hw every week (3 attempts ea). Gives study guides & practice tests and plenty other resources to help you succeed. Tests aren't too bad so long as you study; I never went to class & never got <B on them. If you're lazy, don't take her.
Professor Euzent is awesome. I took her because she was my only option for the time I wanted, but I'm glad I did. She's really helpful and gives A TON of extra credit, so it's really easy to get at least a B in the class. I definitely recommend her.
Great class, great professor. Took web based course. You could go to class if you wanted or download the lecture later. Easy tests, studied maybe 5 hours total for tests 1, 2, 3 and reviewed an hour before showing up to the testing lab for the final. Got a B because I did the homework 20 minutes before it was due and ran out of time.
Boring! she will put you to sleep. Got a c without really trying, so if you try youll do fine.
I can't stand economics. But I got an A. She gives opportunities for extra credit and it boosts your grade an entire letter grade. The tests were hard for me because ... I never understood the material much. And the lectures are dreadful to go to. It was hard to concentrate every single time.
I personally think Economics is boring. This class didn't make it any more exciting but information was conveyed very well in a concise clear way. Not a hard class but you have to study and put in at least some effort. Bad thing is you have to pay 90 bucks to sign up for the online homework which is one step from extortion....
There was no way to make this subject interesting but she was very good at teaching it. She gave out a lot of extra credit over her Reduced Seating/Online Class and seemed very helpful.
extremely easy; no need to go to class at all cuz she streams it online and u can watch it whenever. i got an A and studied no more than 3 hrs for each test and i took her in summer 6 week session. drops lowest of 3 tests and there is extra credit; hw is also really easy, you can retry incorrect answers for more points
Stumbles on her words way too much, but the TAs and review sessions are great for clarification. Very smart and nice lady, easy class, but I would have enjoyed a better understanding of the subject. Take micro first, especially with Dr. Underwood, makes the class much easier.
I dread going to her lectures every single day I have class. She does not stay on topic and starts telling stories that have nothing to do with what you will be tested on. homework is kind of easy, and you can get an A as long as you are willing to go to the teaching assistants for help because you will not learn anything from attending her lecture
She is a really great professor! She loves her subject and wants and tries to help you as much as she can. She is very sweet and funny and does her best to make economics interesting. Don't leave her class early though, she gets really mad. Other than that, I wish I could take her again.
easy class, lectures are useless, just do the hw and extra credit and you should be alright
Class attendance isn?t mandatory, but if you attend class she makes it fun. Very sweet and helpful! She uses webcourses a lot to send out extra credit opportunities and helpful study guides for exams. Easy A if you do the HW and extra credit.
Good professor. She enjoys economics, as well as she tries to make you enjoy it too. A lot of examples from real life. She drops the lowest score out of three mid-terms. A lot of extra credit. Final is relatively easy.
You don't need to buy the textbook because they make you buy it online through aplia, which is the website where you do your hw. I slacked off hard in the class and barely got an A. If you go to class and do the hw its an easy A.
Super nice lady. Tries to make jokes and is just adorable. The class is pretty easy. She gives plenty of extra credit. I didn't use the book once. Didn't go to class much, the only reason I did was to fill in the blanks on the notes. Aplia will help your grade.. a lot.
I took the class video streaming. I used the online version of the textbook that comes w/ Aplia, never read it, just used it as reference while doing Aplia hw. As long as you do the HW& listen to lectures the class is easy. She is a fun teacher to watch and she's funny too! She does a really good job at explaining all the difficult stuff too.
Excellent professor. As long as you do the homework and pay attention the class isn't too bad. She's extremely helpful and friendly AND gives extra credit. The study guide book for the class is EXTREMELY helpful for the tests!!!!
She is awesome. Her classes almost never run the full time and she is really friendly. She tries to make the material relatable which really helps. Very good professor. Textbook is on the homework website and homework is really easy with the site she uses.
She is very sweet and she really loves econmics. Her exam reviews are very helpful. Just watch the lectures, do the practice exams and homework and you should be fine. Plus, she drops your lowest exam grade. Overall, she is a good professor.
Easy class. Quit going to lectures about halfway through. Aplia and study guides are all I needed to do well on tests. Great teacher and truly cares about the students. If you take this class, take it with her.
She a great proffessor. Economics as a whole isn't an easy subject and she does a very good job of explaing it. I never got higher than an 87 on my test and ended up walking away with an A. Do all the extra credit she offers about five points per test and it adds up. SHe drops lowest exam and aplia homework is easy.
3 exams (lowest dropped), 1 final, and Aplia homework average make up your grade. Aplia really helps with the exams, though, so it's not a big hassle. Her exam reviews are a godsend - very very helpful. Exams aren't easy, but if you study you'll be fine. Ample extra cred opportunities as well. I got an A. Definitely recommend her.
Great Teacher! I recommend watching her lectures that she video streams. Do ALL of the extra credit assignments, they do wonders for your grade. The Reviews by the TA's really help, make sure you watch those. Overall, the class isn't really that hard.
I enjoyed watching her lectures online. She was bubbly and cute.
Not that of an easy class but great professor. Always seen in a good mood. Take her.
Easiest class I have ever taken (ended up with over a 100% final grade). Just read the textbook and do the assignments and you will be golden. You are allowed to write as much as you can on a 3X5 notecard (front and back) for each test.
I never attended classes but realized towards the end that her reviews and study guides were crucial to passing. I struggled in the beginning but by the end I got an 80 on the final. Study guides and reviews!!
She really does try her best to describe the information. But as someone who struggles with this subject, she can get very wordy. If I had to look down on one thing, it would be her TA she had during my semester. He was very intelligent, but sarcastic, had an "I'm so much better than you" attitude all the time, and was sometimes plain rude.
This class wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't my least favorite. She tries her best to explain some material that is actually quite difficult towards the end of the class. There are a few extra credit opportunities and those are pretty helpful. The notes are available online. I would recommend printing them out and filling in the gaps during class
If you're good with math and econ theory, then you'll be fine. This class was terrible!! There wasn't a single person I talked to that didn't agree. And her TA was shockingly conceited and full of himself, and she wouldn't help you, she'd send you to him. Extremely frustrating class, would never take this woman again.
One of the sweetest professors I've had. She's always willing to help. Her lectures were very interesting, but her tests were not the easiest. You have to study but can take an index card to the test. She gave a ton of extra credit! I recommend her but you have to study a bit.
This professor is very nice and she is very sweet, but if I were you, I would not take her. Her tests are very confusing and it is impossible. Her TA wasn't helpful and IMO, he's not conceited. Only take Euzent if you a great Macroeconomics, if you are not take someone else.
I did not care for this professor much, she can be rude sometimes.
I took the online version of her class. In my opinion this class is really hard. I had struggled with the material and listening to her lectures helped but I was still lost. I did decently in the class. Don't take the class unless you are committed to doing the work. Weekly online homework. Take good notes.
I took her class online. She's really enthusiastic about teaching. Wonderful, helpful, and patient. BE SURE TO LISTEN TO HER LANGUAGE.
I took Professor Euzent's webcapture class and overall it was pretty easy. I practically failed one test but ended up with a 95 average because she drops one test and gives lot of extra credit. Pretty easy A as long as you study, watch the lectures, and do the homework and extra credit
Really nice person. Didn't go to class too much cuz it was too early. Practiced homework problems and read the book. The practice tests given before each exam is VERY similar to the tests.
She's horrible! The class is not as easy as everyone else makes it seem. In my opinion, avoid this class if you can!
The class overall is a difficult class. Her lectures are pretty easy to follow. The homework done online through Aplia is graded on accuracy and you have three chances per problem. Every grade you get on each problem is averaged together. Tests are very difficult so definitely do the practice tests before hand and study. Not an easy A course.
She seems nice during her lectures but once you talk to her during her office hours she's useless. Exams had curveballs, however homework was pretty easy. I will never take her again because she's boring. Take Prof. Underwood!
Stay away from her. She doesn't care
Aplia homework isnt too bad but isnt super easy, this is a challenging course but I was if you work hard and do the simple extra credit you can get an A. it'll take some work though. Easy B, tough A
She's pleasant personally but I found her lectures useless because she read verbatim from the ppt which got boring real fast. Her tests are NOT like the practice tests! I ended up having to learn everything on my own. Aplia homework is only useful to understanding concepts of the material only in my opinion.
I took the online version of this class. This class is only hard if you are not going to study. She is so sweet and makes the information on her lectures very clear and easy to understand. If you watch her lectures, fill out the powerpoints she gives you, & take her practice quizzes..you will definitely pass the class. She is a wonderful professor!
Decent teacher, print notes off webcourse, has blanks that fill in during class.must buy alpia to do hw online, has package with book and alpia, DONT BUY BOOK BEFORE SHE GIVES YOU SPECIAL LINK FOR DISCOUNT! hw barely follows notes and test is a mix notes and hw, but allows notecard and give review test which i used to make my notecard
Stopped going to the lectures because it was easier to just teach myself but she's really nice. She drops the lowest exam grade. Make sure you do good on the homework and do the extra credit if you want an A in the class.
Economics is one of my least favorite subjects, but Euzent takes time to explain difficult concepts and answer any questions we may have. She is a sweet lady, but you definitely have to work for that 'A!'
I took the online version. She is so sweet and really cares about her students. Watch her lectures and study and you will make an A. She gives out a lot of extra credit which was extremely helpful! Applia hw is easy and boosts your grade also. She gives a discount for the book through Applia. Absolutely loved her! Sweet Sweet Lady!
Professor Euzent is an excellent teacher and very well organized. Her lectures are a little redundant, but useful. I took this course online during Summer B and the workload was extremely manageable. Easy class. Easy online homework. Lowest 4 grades dropped. 3 midterms and a final. Lowest midterm dropped. Offers tons of extra credit.
I took this class as a freshman in Summer B and ended up with an A. She drops your lowest midterm. Aplia hw is fairly simple, but you have to pay $116 to get access to the hw. Make sure you do all of the extra credit on Aplia, it really helps your grade. Midterms and the final are similar to the practice exams. Allows a 3X5 index card for each exam
I took this class as a freshman in Summer B and ended up with an A. She drops your lowest midterm. Aplia hw is fairly simple, but you have to pay $116 to get access to the hw. Make sure you do all the extra credit on Aplia, it really helps your grade. Midterms and the final are similar to the practice exams. Allows a 3X5 index card for each exam
Took her class online during Summer B and the workload was completely fine. Easy A class. Easy homework, drops the 4 lowest grades on the homework. 3 midterms, drops the lowest midterm and lets you use a 3x5 index card on every midterm and on the final. Optional practice exams. Ton of extra credit. Easy A and great professor!
Mrs. Euzent is very funny and you can tell that she really likes economics. If you take Macroeconomics, TAKE HER CLASS. If you keep up with the reading, you'll make an A.
I took Macroeconomics, watched the lectures, did the online homework. If you read the chapter and watch the lecture, the hw is pretty easy. For the tests, study the practice test and it's almost the same. Let's you use an index card for each test.
Easy class. but she's boring! Do well on the Aplia assignment. I don't think lectures are that important. Just makes sure to read textbook and take practice exams before the actual test.
took this lecture capture so attendance not mandatory, boring lectures, frequently goes on rants and goes off topic. every time i take notes i feel like i come away learning absolutely nothing. Aplia doesn't help much, but just do the homework and get at least a B on all tests you will be fine
I took this online so I kind of slacked off. It wasn't that hard but the questions on the test were more confusing than necessary. So reading the chapters and repeatedly doing the practice tests would be the best way to study. I never actually went to the class but she posts the lectures online so you can watch them whenever. She gives extra credit
BEWARE! I'm bad at math, but can't begin to tell you how hard I've studied for this course, only to get an aggravating 50% (give or take 3 points either way) on the 3 exams given. I somehow hold on to a mid-D and don't expect to pass this course. Tried alternate study methods and took the advice of previous posters-for me, it DID NOT WORK.
She is an amazing teacher. I barely go to lectures, but if you go to her office hours she WILL help you. She also drops your lowest exam and 2 lowest homework grades but as a early holiday present she dropped our lowest 5 this semester making our homework average much higher! Lectures aren't mandatory, read and you'll do good! Take her if you can!
You can tell that she loves what she is doing. Macroeconomics is a difficult course no matter who the professor is but she does her best to make it easier so I would recommend taking her. Offers extra credit opportunities and drops the lowest exam score. She is easy to approach with questions and I actually enjoyed learning.
Pretty good class. She's a great teacher. She follows the book pretty well so it probably isn't necessary but it makes the homework easier. The tests weren't too terrible after watching the lectures and spending a little time studying. Definitely take her.
She really enjoys teaching Economics. She was a good teacher but economics is extremely hard. I struggled on the exams but still had a decent grade. If you do the aplia and extra credit you can make a good grade. Tests are kind of tough, you have to study for them.
Very nice and sincere professor, but her lectures are monotonous. She provides everything online, so spare yourself going to class if you're good at self-teaching. I went to 2 classes the whole semester, read the textbook, and ended up with an A final grade. Aplia is tedious, but complete everything and do the extra credit and you will be fine.
Great teacher. Take her class!
This course was definitely NOT easy. The aplia hw wasn't too bad after watching the lectures but the exams killed my grade. I read the book after the first exam but didn't help. How well you do depends on your interest level. If you aren't a business major & have an option to take another course for the GenEd requirement then go for something else.
If you go into this class thinking it will be easy because you aced Econ in high school, think again. The lessons are difficult for a GEP class, and at the end of the semester I was fighting to earn my B. Euzent herself isn't a bad teacher, but her subject is very dull. FYI: before taking ANY exam, make sure you can ace the online practice exams.
This was an online class and I went to the available lectures because the website was always down. She is a good professor but her concepts are very hard to understand without having taken AP macro. STUDY A LOT. pay attention and do the homework. you can get at least a B if you try.
Such a nice, sweet lady! She really tries to make sure students understand everything being covered in class. The work load is relatively light, but you will have to study alot for the exams to pass. Class is relatively easy if you put in the time !
Prof. E is a sweet woman. While her class is not easy by any means, she is understanding and tries to offer as much extra credit as possible. Everything is mandatory from the book to hw except for attendance. Do all the hw, do well on exams and watch the lectures and you'll be fine.
She tries to relate to her students with examples often. Not a bad teacher but sometimes I feel like she is just reading the power points. Take her though, overall good quality!
Definitely not an easy A unless you are good with macro. She is a good teacher but if you tend to get behind in your work then this might be a class to avoid, she moves quickly.
I took this class as the lecture/live view online and chose to just watch it online. Macro is hard, not going to lie. Unless you're good at it, it will come somewhat easy to you, but you do have to work hard. Aplia (homework) is annoying but a little helpful. Study her power points for the test and practice!
I took her for Macroeconomics and I took her online. She was boring to watch her lectures but they are extremely helpful when doing Aplia (the homework) and as long as you do her practice exams you will pass the exams. She is also extremely nice and helpful.
Macro is a hard class for me but this professor makes it manageable for anyone dreading this class. There is homework that is due, however she will drop the two lowest HW grades as well as the lowest Test score so there is a bit of a cushion. I do recommend her :)
She is not a bad professor but then again I'm not a professor trying to teach Macro (hard class to begin with) to a bunch of half asleep students. If you can take someone better, do it. If she is one of the only ones, take her.
I received a B in the class because the homework assignments and extra credit are what kept my grade alive. The exams are difficult but similar to the practice tests. DO THE HOMEWORK and EXTRA CREDIT!!!
Class is boring. But she's willing to help if needed. Tests are hard, but class is mandatory so you just have to get through it.
Took this course as a lecture capture. Got a B barely. Not an easy course. All the extra credit saved me.. practice exams make a big difference, do those. Class is pretty boring.
amazing teacher. This is not an easy class, therefore you have to study and put in the time for it. Go to the TA, he is so helpful! I read the chapters and went to the TA's office for help, highly suggested. The only reason i didn't get a A in the class is because i slacked off on the last exam, but easy class to get a B.

After the first 3 classes I stopped going, professor was confusing and often got off topic. Read the book before doing the practices and you should be fine. Did it completely online, never went to class, ended up with an A. Lets you use a notecard on exams.
