Fantastic professor. Had her for acc 114 and acc 121. Her teaching method and grading are so crystal clear, that you really have to go out of your way to not understand the material. Helped me get through the class. couldn't have passed accounting without her. Definitely take Prof. Galetta

always willing to help, tests are on the harder side, if you show up and do the hw it is an easy b- not a shot at an a though. i enjoyed her but if youre looking to take martin for 121 dont take galletta for 114. personally would choose galletta over martin any day

Very nice. Failed her first exam, was thinking about dropping out, but then I decided to visit her during her office hours. She always stays that extra hour or two to help me until I understand it. Next test I got was 92. Take her, Shes always willing to help others, Not a hard class at all!

Prof. Galletta is the best. She's always available to help out her students. Explains everything in great details. Encourages everyone to participate but won't put you down or hold it against you if you can't come up with the answer. Do your homework and pay attention in class, you will do good in the class.

This is an intensive writing course which requires you to research tax, auditing, and GAAP laws. It alone is a hard class which prepares you for the CPA exam. Don't take this course unless you really are willing to work. She's a great professor, but the subject matter isn't. The professor is willing to help and is still learning.

One of the best Accounting professors. She really knows her field and is very interested in her students future. She will help you with anything, even if it's advice on the CPA exam or your future. There is a lot of homework but USEFUL homework that will impact your grade, help you in the exams as well as for the CPA exam itself.

Great Professor take her if you can, homework is mandatory but does not take away points if its wrong. She really wants you to understand the material and is very helpful. Test are reasonable and she definitely holds your attention !!

This professor is by far the best acounting professor at CSI. i took her for almost all of my lower level accounting classes and i am extremely happy i did. She teaches the subject perfectly and not at a fast pace. The class is very challenging and the material is hard but she is a fantastic teacher.

If accounting is your major then take her. It is a hard class but she is easily the best professor I have taken. She has an amazing understanding and can break it down to make learning a breeze. Do not pass her up

AMAZING! I learned nothing in my first two accounting classes but she taught me more accounting in one semester than a full year.Very helpful and really wants to help you learn. I wish she taught more classes. Must take her if your serious about accounting!

Great professor , i was lost in my two previous semester and she helped me. Explains a great deal . A lot of assignment to make you understand better ,if you want to learn take her but if you want an easy class this is not for you.

Good prep class for CPA. Good instructor. Goes TOO fast when putting up and reviewing how to maneuver websites, etc... She cares and it shows. Good lectures. All around good instructor. Besides... you really don't have a choice, she's the only one that teaches 750.

very tough grader gives 4 tests in total. She gives the test back at end of class and takes it right back, keeps you last minute sometimes even longer. She has two different tests test a and test b so you have to study more. She teaches you everything but is a very tough grader.

Great professor all around, one of the best professors I have taken in CSI. Homework assigned in every class but goes over it in the beginning of every class to help you understand the material. Tests are somewhat difficult, i would strongly advise to study for class notes and homeworks that are gone over in class, same concepts show up on the test

She is really one of the best professors out there. She gives a lot of homework but always goes through them. She doesn't accept late homework so be prepared to work. She also loves involving everyone in class discussion so be willing to speak out. All in all she is great and will definitely take her again. She is good for beginners like myself.

She teachs everything you need to know, gives homework everyday. She helps in her office hours but her test are tough. She takes off a lot of points where she should not. You will never leave early and for extra credit you have to go to meetings.

Professor Galetta seems to be a very nice woman and she is fully available to help but her tests are extremely hard. If you are an accounting major take her but other than that try to avoid. Tests all long answers - 6 questions. Many students in class dropped.

Great Professor! she was tough, no arguments there. don't take her if you have no interest in accounting. but if you are an accounting major or just have and interest, you will learn a lot, and stuff you will need for classes down the road, and hopefully in your career, (i don't know, I'm still a student). Buy the book, go to class, do the homework

Great Professor! However, if you're looking for an easy A do NOT take her. Gives Excel and Martin Method homework. Her exams are 5-6 problems and she gives you an empty Blue Book to show all work. FORMATTING COUNTS. Do not forget page number on General Journal, you WILL lose points. Mostly feel like her class is geared towards Accounting majors.

DO take her if you are an accounting major and want a quality mentor. DO NOT take her if you're hoping for an easy "A" , and is not serious about your future or have even thought about it kids.

One of the best professors I've taken at CSI thus far. Really does her best to make sure everyone understands the material. Take her if you are SERIOUS about learning accounting because this is definitely not an easy A. Extensive excel homework, long written exams, and heavy lectures, but it's worth it if you're committed to becoming an accountant.

Wonderful Professor. I had taken her for Acc 215 this semester. It was a difficult class but if you do the homework and understand the concepts she is trying to teach you will do fine. The tests are similar to her homework problems.

she's a pretty good professor, two things i did not like though is the online Martin method HW. its 10%, if i didnt get the right answer then i lose about 40% out of 100% then when i do get a right answer it only goes up by 4%. a lot of questions too. also, if i missed one day its like i missed the whole semester. she does a lot in a day.

Guys! She is a great, knowledgeable and caring. But her teaching style isn't very useful. She makes you do homework before teaching, which simply consumes a lot of your time for studying other subjects, and she wants you to study literally every problem in the textbook and asks 6 out of it on the exam that is not similar to the ones she teaches.

Tough professor but the only professor that actually forced me to learn. Thankful that I took her!

The class involves a nice amount of research. a couple presentations but they weren't to bad (make a powerpoint slide and present it) , 2 test, pretty rough but if you study youll be okay.

I can understand why people were having a hard time in her class because I was having a difficult time too. But as hard as her class is, she really tries to help her students a lot. I passed with a C+ when I deserved an F. She had so much patience. I wish I can write more but she's amazing I highly recommend taking her classes!! You won't regret!

She is a fantastic professor. She knows her material very well and teaches it amazingly. Very caring and human. Exams are similar to class work, and she provides students with all resources needed to excel in the class.

Great Professor who truly cares. Subject is not the easiest however she provides you with a ton of resources to do well, but YOU HAVE to use them and work hard. Lectures are long and heavy, quizzes every week, and a test every few chapters (4 total). Offers extra credit opportunities, stays late and comes in on non class days to review chapters.

Professor Galletta's course is amazing. She is a great teacher, and I learned a lot from her class. The homework, classwork, and exams were relevant and useful for mastering topics. I would warn non-accounting majors that are not interested in the subject that they can not do well in this class unless they pay attention and do the work.
