Alot of people didn't like her, she kinda of hard ass but she's pretty nice if you ask for help. If you have to take a math class you could do worse. On the plus side, easy final project.

She is a great teacher. she will not put up with students who think they are still in high school and choose to be disrespectful. She is bright, knows her material and is always willing to help.

the material was easy so i dont how good of a teacher she is. she's kinda serious. the only real bad thing is a research paper of her choice i got computer hardware, then you have to present it to the class.

She is nice, but don't be late! She loves math it shows, I took her long time ago I was surprised at some of the comments. She doesnt put up with crap from disrespectful kids that disrupt the class, the kids that think college is 13th grade.I thought she was great and i dread math.

I disagree with a lot of people here. Yes i do think that the homework is a tad excessive, but i found her to be a fine professor and a nice enough person. I think people might be bitter about their grades.

I am not entirely sure she is totally deserving the bad rap she is getting on this site. It is true and there is no denying that she gives huge homework assignments, but really, you just have to work hard in her class. You cant give up, because she doesnt baby her students. Too many expect that.

She's a pretty good teacher. She answers all questions you have and is very nice and helpful. The only problen I have with her is the fact that she leaves at random periods in class for like 15 minutes and comes back teaches a little then gives us problems, then leaves again.

If you want an easy A don't waste your time or hers.I worked hard for my A but didn't mind doing so bc I'm an ADULT and don't mind professors who treat me as such.I commuted from another campus to take her class and she was always available when I needed help, gave a take home test, dropped lowest test score.What else do you want from her...a hug??

I thought she was an easy teacher. She answers any questions and gives extra points to people who put their names on a piece of paper properly. the only bad part was the random presentations we had to do at the end of the course. I had comuters and banking. what does that have to do with math? I would take her again.

If you come to class it should be an easy A. She explains everything clearly and is willing to help. She gives a lot of homework but it makes the exams so much easier.

She isn't super easy, she's a bit strict but as long as you keep up with all your homework (even though she doesn't check it every class)it helps because she likes to give pop quizzes almost every class. She also loves when people participate and ask questions from homework.

She's nice if you're willing to do work. Not easy, but will be your friend, and always says hi and smiles. I found her to be a relatively good teacher.

Really nice, easy going. Assigns a good amount of homework and does occasional homework checks. Sort of strict on attendance if you don't e-mail her your reason for being absent, but occasionally lets you out of class early. Overall the class requires some work but material is easy if you do your homework.

I think she is a great teacher. She gives you all of the tools you need to know in order to do well on tests and quizes. As long as you keep up with the homework, you will do well in the class. I would definitely recommend her!

She is the best teacher I have ever had that teaches math. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach it. Very easy course, you take you math tests on your time. If you have a question she is happy to answer it. TAKE THIS COURSE.

She is an awesome teacher & goes over the problems step by step. Also teaches how to do problems on calculator & is very helpful & willing to work with students. One of the best math teachers I've ever had!! Stats is not an easy subject for most, so do plan on devoting a lot of time to the course.

I took this class spring 2011 w 4 othr classes n passd w a D i retook her class this Summer w the knowledge id have to devote a hefty amount of time doing the hw n practicing. Yes u MUST attend class n u MUST do the hw!! Shes an amazing teacher n loves her stats Will help u w anything n holds class in a laughable atmosphere I wish she taught 242!!!

I had Professor Gary this Summer and no, she's not easy, but neither is Math. Bottom line, if you just want an easy A, don't take her class. She'll challenge you but one thing about her is that she was always there to help me when I needed it.

Great personality, very good teacher, but you MUST put the effort in. You MUST do the homework and go over any problems you have with her. Study study study. Keep all quizzes because those problems are usually in the test. I suggest you form a study group with classmates because it will help I the long run with take home exams and with project. If you have to miss a class ALWAYS email her! It will help you out a ton.

Prof. Gary made Math 151 a little challenging, but she was very helpful and explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand. She gave probably the easiest final I've ever taken, that wasn't necessarily related to the course, but it was easy none the less. I would recommend her to anyone who enjoys math and needs to take this course.

She's a nice lady, and available to help. However, this is very much a teach yourself class. Read the book, and bug her about what's on the test. She doesn't cover some sections in class and then they appear on the exam. I knew what she covered in class perfectly well, but the exam focused mainly on problems she never mentioned. Read every chapter.

TO SAY SHE'S AWESOME IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. PROF GARY IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER. NOT ONLY THAT SHE WILL ANSWER QUESTIONS IN CLASS AND IN HER OFFICE. SHE DOES NOT PLAY GAMES THOUGH. SHE REALLY WANTS YOU TO DO WELL AND SHE WILL WORK WITH YOU TO HELP YOU. DON'T TAKE HER CLAS IF YOU'RE LAZY.

Bottom line, I'm taking Stat from Prof Gary because I actually want to learn Statistics. It isn't easy but she works hard to help you and is always there for additional help with my stupid questions. If you're looking for a professor who doesn't care & who will just pass you along to the next subject, Professor Gary is DEFINITELY NOT your woman!

Professor Gary taught a hybrid class that I took this semester. I was worried because it meets once a week. She is very helpful, always open to work with you in the office. I can't believe it but I think I'm getting a "B" in MATH! I had some personal issues and she really worked with me.

Professor Gary taught a class that I did not want to take. She gave us EVERY opportunity to pass the class and to learn the material. I am a Criminal Justice major and would take another class from her. She is serious about the course but is extremely fair and helpful. Don't get behind in a hybrid class . You need to stay on top of things.

Took stat and so glad I took her class. She is top level professor. I'm at Mason now and would take another course from her in a heartbeat. She does not give grades not earned. You'll be happy you took her when you're in a 4 yr univ. some if my classmates are surprised at what I know when I tell them I took the class at Nova.

Mrs. Gary was amazing. She was super down to earth and genuinely wanted us to learn the subject manner. I'd take her again in a heart beat. Don't be fooled though she makes you hard but she wont leave you behind.

If you enjoy reading and are willing to participate in class, this is this class will be a worthwhile choice. It's not exactly the easiest course, but rewarding nonetheless.
