The best teacher I've had since I've been at Tech (I'm a junior)...such an awesome Math teacher. If you can, get in her class!

Great math teacher!! I am not a good student in math and she made the subject a lot easier and more bearable. She is one of the best math teachers I have ever had.

Take her but she's hard. you will have to work for your grade and be prepared to be sometimes confused. I had to drop the course because I wasn't getting it so take her but be prepared to study for her tests.

Mrs. Gaston was a TERRIFIC math teacher. She gives tons of examples and her tests are not difficult if you study. She's the only math teacher I ever recommend to people.

I absolutely LOVED Mrs. Gaston!! She was so helpful if you needed something and she made sure you knew what you needed to make on the next test to keep your grade or to even pass/drop the class! She knows what she's talking about and she's just a great teacher!

Mrs. Gaston is a very sweet woman. She's very concerned that her students learn and understand the material. She will help in any way she can; only if students seek her help. She is very professional-like and takes her job serious. Students will do well in her class if only they do homework and study more. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

She is a very nice, very cute little woman! She teaches with variety in tone and she makes it fun and understandable. Her tests are eh kind of hard i guess only bc im not too good at math, but its really not too bad and she really does care for her students!

She writes all of the notes on the board for you to copy straight from, or hands out already typed notes. ALEKS is optional. Test are pretty easy, and final is optional if you're happy with your grade. She makes sure you understand the subject before moving on. She also takes up homework, so turning it in would probably be a good idea.

I hate math...but I made an A in this class! She's wonderful and curves a lot on the tests! I would definately reccommend her, because I expected to struggle in that class, but I did very well!! :)

Go to class! It's easy if you're there and it's hard if you skip. She always goes over any homework questions. She's very approachable and will work with you outside of class. Definitely the best teacher to take for math 99 and math 100.

I have taken 099,100bc,125. 3diff teachers. She has many good qualities but I'll tell you the bad. She treats U like high school kids,thats good and bad.In comparison she is less giving with the partial credit as the other 2. I worked twice as hard to get a B- than I did to get A+'s in other 2. Barron is my recomendation. But She's a good teacher.

Mrs. Gaston is great. I had her for Math 099, Math100, and next quarter(spring) i will take Math 125 with her. She goes over the homework in class. She always lets you know what will be on the test. MAKE SURE YOU COME TO CLASS. She teaches different from the book. Much easier to understand. if you don't come to class you will most likely not pass.

Good teacher. Her tests are a little harder than the study material and their is nooooooo room for error. Do not mess up!

She is a good teacher. However, I found it stupid that you have to use a scientific calculator, you can't use a graphing on the tests because its unfair to those who can't afford one. She also is slow about getting grades up online. But overall, she is a decent teacher.

AMAZING TEACHER.. very clear with her teaching and nice. Only scientific calculators so that you can use your brain and won't cheat. Do the book homework and Webwork every time and you will be ready for the test! Starts from very beginning and breaks it down. listen in class! LOVE HER

The best math teacher I've ever had! I've never made anything above a D in math but with her I make Bs and As. She's extremely helpful and makes sure everyone in the class understands what she's teaching. Just do the webwork and then do your homework every night and study guide and you'll do fine on the test.

Very sweet lady. If you do the homework and go to class, the tests will be a breeze. Also, you don't have to take the cumulative final if you are happy with your grade before it.

Mrs Gaston is truly a wonderful teacher; she is always interested in making sure everyone understands what she is teaching and makes good use of the textbook and online math programs.

Mrs. Gaston was extremely easy and helpful. As long as you came to class, paid attention, and put forth true effort she would assist you. We used the book to do suggested homework which was extremely helpful for tests but the online homework is what counted. I would love to take her for every math class.

I never liked math until I had Mrs. Gaston. She's super clear and helpful, and the pacing of her lessons are really good. She makes sure you're well prepared for the exams and have everything you need. The exams really aren't hard at all. She's nice and funny and really cares. Would take again if I could!

I'm not the type of guy that enjoys doing math, but having this professor really helped out. She doesn't waste time teaching things that she thinks don't matter. She is very straight forward and tells you exactly what to expect on the tests. Offers an optional final following 4 normal exams.

She is just the sweetest. She really cares about her students, and is so good at explaining the material in a way that makes sense to everyone. There is a lab connected to this class, and I HIGHLY recommend it because in the lab you receive worksheets, and she gives you hints for the types of questions that will be on the test.

She cares about students passing for sure! If you don't do the homework, she does get frustrated with you. The homework helps and don't be afraid to ask questions. The test are hard but she covers everything on them so just be sure to pay attention. If you miss a day, it's stupid hard to catch back up and understand things so try not to.

P Gaston is the heart and soul of math at Tech. She is so precious. Id take her for anything. Even if Math isnt your strong suit, she makes it so easy to understand. If you fail, thats on you. She gives great advice! Make sure you come to class, a lot of material is covered each class! 4 Tests and MyMathLab and participation are graded. TAKE HER
