The best teacher I've ever had. But be carefull!! she is very hard and at the beginning even scary!She gives a lot of homework, very demanding and it's impossible to be "left alone" throughou the semester- you will participate! Very generous in her grades. Don't take her if you want an easy life.

One of the best teachers of the semester. She made the class fun and I learned a lot about how to get comfortable in front of the audience and about the competitive job market. The class was a lot of work but this IS college, and the more work you put in the more you get out. She's a true gift to the FIT students and I would recommend her to anyone

This Prof. is the best prof i have had.I learned so much from her,not only about speaking but life and career in general.It may seem to some that she asks for alot, but really that's what you need to give out there in the real world to succeed.There is no better way to prepare for that than by having someone who expects that from you everyday.

Wow, This was a long way, and I enjoyed every class I had with this teacher. She really knows how to keep the class going. Her class demands a lot of work, about 17 chapters in ansewring questionf=s for a homework, a lot of outlining skills being practiced, we had 4 speeches, annotated bibliographies, APA format citing etc.. a lot of requriements,

This professor is AMAZING!!! In the beginning, it seems like there is a lot of work, but its really not as much as it seemed. She was a extremely fair grader and was a amazingly funny and enthuastic woman. She tries to make the best person out of you, shes just great and made it work!

She is a very demanding teacher, however is a wonderful educator and mentor. She takes the time to get to know her students, and cares about them. She encourages you to do well - a little pressure, but all and all I would definately take her class again!

Took her profess. speech class. Not the best prof. to deal with when you are busy & stressed out - she makes you work really hard by giving you extra assignments. She could be a fun person to listen to when she is in a good mood.

I had a great experience with this professor! She is very funny, good and caring person, who always will "push you" to excel in all your projects. Always helpful! Prof. Iacobazzo is one of the best instructors I have had. She is very supportive, helpful and she knows her material. Because of her, my speech has improved so much. I still, after graduating some years ago, use all that she has taught in class. he is an exceptional professor and anyone who says anything less than this is just a lazy student.

She is the most helpful teacher i have ever had. She really cares and wants every student to succeed! Before this class i wasn't very confident getting up in front of a class, now I'm the first one to volunteer. Every assignment is helpful and she explains very clearly what she expects of you! I enjoyed the class!!

Public Speaking could be very intimidating but Prof. Iacobazzo really made the setting comfortable. She cares for her students & even let prior students come in to finish old assignments which is not typical. Professor is a fair grader & explains the material thoroughly. If you are willing to participate you will get a lot out of the class.

Public Speaking was my downfall, my worst fear. But she pushed me, and knew I could be better. I started to believe it to. I credit her with much more than helping me fulfill a graduation requirement; she helped me overcome more than the fear of public speaking, after giving my personal speech in her class, I was no longer fearful to be myself.

I really enjoyed her class, her attitude and her stories. It kept class interesting and she is a brilliant teacher. She has charisma and is a lovely person. Her public speaking class is also very useful. People forget that we attend a LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE and that our liberals are going to have a lot of work. So it was not unexpected.

I've always been very scare to do this but taking this class can help you overcome the fear. As a master orator and a teacher she does indeed provides a clear syllabus, knows how to augment and tailor it in real time. Perhaps that causes some students to be discouraged. Professor Iacobazzo puts her students in real-life scenarios in preparation for delivering a presentation to various audiences, either one-on-one or in a group setting. The emphasis is on helping each student develop speaking skills and then applying them in everyday life. The exercises are designed to build confidence, decorum, and self-esteem.

This is my third class with Professor Iacobazzo. My fourth class will be her first online course at FIT. I cannot wait to see her dynamic personality online. She taught breathing, walking, and posture exercises! Individual and group presentations are given. Keep up with the readings and hand in assignments on time and you'll do well!

She is very sweet lady. Class itself wasn't too hard. There is no written exams, midterm and final are oral presentations with some support paperwork. She is there to help and very understanding. Easy class. Textbooks provided.

Professor Patricia is an awesome teacher. I love her style of teaching with exercises, fun, singing, encouragement, full of faith. She believes in all her students she molds you to be the best you can be no matter your short comings, we all have them excellent english professor.

The class was highly enjoyable and interesting class that teaches essential speech techniques that I use everyday in my job.

I would high recommend taking Professor Iacobazzos class if youre thinking of taking public speaking. Although this class does require a lot of work, Professor Iacobazzo is very flexible with deadlines and will allow you to redo your speech for a better grade if you choose. She really does want to see her students succeed.

Professor Iacobazzo changed my life in numerous ways throughout the semester I took her speech and articulation class. She managed to transform this class into whatever you need it to be. I really enjoyed the summer class Voices Of Civil Rights. Professor Iacobazzo is very passionate about the materials and is lenient and fair with the course load. Work is very engaging and topics are very relevant. Staying on top of homework is important, or you will probably fall behind but this is applicable to all classes.

Voices of Civil Rights was a really enjoyable course! Professor Iacobazzo is always willing to offer help outside of class and the workload is manageable as long as you keep on top of the readings and discussion posts. We discussed a lot of interesting and meaningful topics, and definitely gained a lot of helpful public speaking skills.

Taking the Voices of Civil Rights course during the summer with Professor Iacobazzo was an enjoyable experience. She kept weekly discussion boards interesting and enjoyable to respond to. She is so sweet and helpful in answering and helping with any confusion. You will learn a lot about various topics that are really important to be aware of.

Prof Iacobazzo is very accommodating and willing to help, easy to reach online. There are a lot of discussions to keep up with but she allows you to revise for a higher grade. If you reach out for help she will give it to you. You have to work but it is easy to get a good grade with some effort.

You have to put in the effort to succeed in her Public Speaking class. She is hilarious and super interactive with her students, as long as the energy is there. Don't wait until the last minute to complete the assignments, but she is super understanding. As long as you're respectful towards her and make an effort, it's an easy class!

This is my first online course at FIT, and she made it extremely delightful. She makes all the deadlines, resources, and expectations clear from the start. Has optional webex meets every 2 weeks and is available for 1:1 student discussions for any doubts or need feedback. She is understanding and wants us to learn. Encourages to revise & resubmit.

Hit or miss— I liked her because she was passionate and kindhearted, but a handful of work for every speech. Four main speeches and you sometimes have to critique other people's speeches after. She did seem a little scary at times, and don't knock while someone's presenting or she WILL call you out. She makes you comfortable being uncomfortable.
