Great professor. If you truly want to learn that a great teacher to take. I really do encourage people to enroll in her classes. She makes you open your eyes

She is a great teacher and really knows her stuff. She is very familiar with the field of Child Development and the best person to ask on career advise regarding child development.

I've taken her class a couple of yrs ago, and she is a very sweet teacher. Her class is very informal, and fun! Just being in there, makes u feel like a "real" ECE teacher. Her classes are easy, as long as u study.

Great teacher. You will learn a lot. Go to class and take notes. I definately recommend taking her classes. Great person to ask for career advice.

Very easy going and her class is easy. She is well versed but her classes have too much group work. So if you like group activities it's a great class.

This is one of the best professors around. She's very intelligent but won't put up with nonsense. If you really want to learn and walk away fufilled than take this professor. She is a little strict but very informative and you learn a lot.

Very good, willing to stay and help you after class. Always read your material and attend and participate in class. Is not easy but you will learn alot.

Kepner has a "drill sgt." presence. Her class isn't that hard if you just read. If you're her favorite, she'll make it known by using you as an example. She knows her stuff.

As long as you read, you will have no problems. She likes to use every day situations to help you remember the information. sometimes she can expect too much, but what teacher doesnt?

Mrs. Kep rocks! I loved being in her class! I learned so much! She totally made me feel awesome about teaching and she pushed me to continue my schooling! Definitely take her for any child development class

She is the best teacher to take a CD class with. You will learn a lot from her. I wish i would've taken all my classes with her.

She is very informative. Enjoys class participation and many group assignments. Tests are simple as long as you pay attention and keep up with the reading.

Kepner knows her stuff. A bit on the grouchy side when asked to many questions. Drops lowest test score. Cannot make up missed tests. Examples used in class are usually on the tests. Other than that she is a good teacher and smart in this particular subject

Mrs. kepner is a very educated in her field,she can not tolerate stupidity if you have something to say you better be ready to back it up. She is fair all you have to do is listen,and follow DIRECTIONS!I learned so much from her and i am applying the info i recieved from her.Thanks

She was awesome. Taught really well and make sure everyone understood the material being taught. Everything in lecture is on the quiz. Make sure to pay attention and you're good. Buy the text. She does use it a lot.

SIT NEAR THE FRONT! She is a good teacher, she gives many examples in her teaching. Everything she talks about are on a test. If she doesnt say it out loud...it wont be on a test!

she is great but not if you are someone that thinks there are always right so listen to her she knows what she is talking about and she does talk about things that are related to Child development if you listen you will see the relationship. pay attention and you will learn allot! Always take her she is my favorite =)

Mrs. Kepner is a no nonsense teacher. She is also an excellent teacher. If you are not serious about the subject matter then don't take her. I took her last summer and thought she was helpful and encouraging. I had her for a total of two classes and wish it could have been more.

Professor Kepner is an awesome instructor. She has many years of experience in this field. She gives lots of examples in order for you to understand the concept, so listen carefully because it will be on the test.Class Participation is highly recommanded. She is my favorite.

I took this professor for most of my courses. Like a fellow student mentioned u better be able to back up what you say. Sit in the front. I remember when she used to read of her notes and those are the test questions for her exams. So just take notes when she speaks and you should be able to pass her exams with not problem. Take this teacher for all the child-dev classes she teaches! She is excellent in this field and she scaffolds her students. Very clear and understanding. I learned a great deal in all her classes. My favorite CD teacher.

Fantastic teacher! Sit in the front, attend all classes, and listen carefully. She teaches about life~ not just children. Pay close attention & take good notes, and you'll pass. She covers all test information as long as you are listening! Very REAL teacher!

Great Professor. Sometimes tough but she knows what she expects from her students and what we are able to accomplish. She encourages you to think critically. Assignments are fun and informative. She is organized and provides us with all the necessary tools to succeed. Tests are sometimes hard but as long as you read it's easy.

Professor Kepner is a great teacher! Extremely helpful with helpful tips on how to be a parent, teacher, or be around people in general. The class is kind of easy but kind of hard. She expects you to do your best and work your hardest and if you do you will succeed! Great lady, definitely a mentor for future teachers!

I have taken three of her classes. She has inspired me to be a better teacher person and parent. She changes the world with her infectious kindness and compassion. She is fair and honest. She is clear about what she expects. I hope to be a fraction of the woman she is.

shes a fairly good teacher. she's pretty good at clearing things up. she may seem hard but she isnt that bad. lectures are easy to understand. exams are based on notes. if read the notes youll pass her exams. overall she is a great teacher. i really enjoyed her class.

She was a great and very specific on what was going to be on the tests. She made sure you understood the material. She also gave study guides. Attendance is not mandatory, but she gives extra points for being present. The only flaw was that she would repeat many of her real life scenarios, but overall, I would recommend her!!

Mrs. Kepner is by far the most amazing and inspirational instructor anyone could ask for!!! She is patient, kind, understanding, and flexible. You not only learn life lessons, but textbook based curricula as well. She has inspired me to become a teacher. Thank you!

Professor Kepner knows what she wants and does not beat around the bush. In everything she does she explains before hand how she wants it done. She has outlines for the chapters that help for her test. Those who complain just do not put the effort in time required for a college class.

Kepner is one of the best cd professor. i don't get why people complain about her teaching. She is clear to the point and even thought she doesn't do power points she knows what she is talking about.

she can be confusing and kind of carry on and on about something but in the end it is very helpful. really good teacher. if u pay attention and go to class u will get an A. tests are very easy. homework is very easy same assignment for each chapter so if u want u can get ahead. sit in front it will help you !!!!! good luck

Take this class ONLY if you can self discipline yourself to pretty much read the chapters and teach the material to yourself. Feels like a waste of time being in class because she talks about things that are way off topic but attendance does count toward your grade.

MS. KEPNER IS GREAT. SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. SHE DOES GO OFF TOPIC BUT SHE MANAGES TO CONNECT IT TO THE LESSON. SHE IS SUPER HELPFUL AND PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT SHE DOES. YES YOU DO HAVE TO READ THE CHAPTERS TO PASS BUT THAT SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE TO THOSE WHO ARE ACTUALLY IN COLLEGE TO LEARN.

Professor Kepner is such a great teacher. She makes you understand the context of each chapter you are learning. I suggest that if you take her course you go to class , take lots of notes even if you don't think it's important, read the textbook, and most of all do the study guide. She's very helpful and understanding if you feel lost.

She goes off topic and does not review for tests. Tests are very high and will affect your grade drastically.. You will have to read lectures on your own b/c her lectures probably only have half of what the tests are about. She is very nice and all but the lectures are only about her experiences and common sense. You will pass. I recommend her.

Great professor taught what you needed to know!! Constantly used our books in class did a lot of group work and watched videos , the only downfall is she gets off topic a lot and forgets what she was teaching us. Sometimes confusing. Tough grader. Sassy at times.

Kepner is honestly a great professor, what she says ties in to the chapters even though she does go off topic it all ends up coming back together! YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION AND LISTEN! there's no time for zoning out in this class. You can't pass the class without the book (you read every page of the book) tests are pretty easy if you read and do notes. ALOT of group work. Show up to class if you want to pass. Community service project and lectures/tests is what this class consists of. Participation is key, if you don't participate by talking with the class you loose points and she will notice and will pin point you out.

She seems, to be mean or rude at first but she is just strict. Just follow her rules and the syllabus you will pass. Also ALWAYS READ BEFORE CLASS! Get those readings DONE!! She does RAMBLE but she covers everything you need to know for the test.

Ms. Kepner is a tough teacher. I loved having her as a teacher. I really learned a lot. She expects a lot from her students, but this is a good thing. You HAVE to read and take notes. Participation and attendance are also key. If you do what you're supposed to do, you will do great. If you're a slacker do NOT take one of her classes, you wont pass.

My first College professor I like how she teach , she make you thinking and creative . she is wonderful . she open my mind and she helps me confidence and encouraged me . If you are real love be a Educator and love kids care about kids feelings , you want be to a good with responsibility Educator you should take her class.

Mrs. Kepner is an amazing professor I had her for several classes. Can be a little tough at the beginning but if you learn the way she teaches can be very easy. Pay attention to her stories because they can often be related to the questions of the test. Learn a lot in the class especially in the group presentations.

Great professor who knows her subject well. Many people dont like her because she gets off topic, but other than that, if you do your reading, exams are a piece of cake.

Easy teacher. If you want to pass just make sure you always have your chapter notes ready. Study your notes and you'll pass.

Ive had Professor Kepner for two semesters so far and I absolutely love her classes! Every person has their bias or things they may not like, but overall, she doesnt give that much homework. She lets us drop 2 of our lowest quizzes or tests and is very understanding :)

I took all of my Child Development courses with Dr. Kepner, she is a great professor. She is caring and gives GREAT advise for your future career you just need to listen and pay attention. Always sit in the front, read, and participate and you will pass! NO PHONES, make sure they are put away or you will loose points!
