GREAT PROFESSOR! super funny, very clear, very easy...could not ask for more! =)

Class was pretty easy. The quizzes/exams are straight from the notes. Don't bother buying the book because if you go to class you will not need it. Overall, a very fair teacher. If you need just a 2 credit class this is the one to take. Nice lady and tells some funny stories. I enjoyed this class.

This class was simple, nice teacher she clearly loves her job. Textbook not required to read, all tests are based on what she covers in class. she is humorous at times. EASY course, i would 100% take this professor again for another class. another plus is she usually lets out 20-30 minutes earlier every class period.

Grate Prof

Dr. Wren is a wonderful teacher. I think her class seems easier because she is such a great teacher. Time and time again I recall things she said in class in other classes. Her tests are not hard but they are no walk in the park either.

I love love loved her as my prof. It was a joined teaching class with her and Dr. Dibble she was a lot better than he was at making things clear and easy to understand. She'll make you laugh and talk about things in the most approachable manor. I loved the half with her.

The best teacher I have had at OU! She is entertaining and makes a 6:30 to 9:50 class go by so fast, plus she never keeps us that late. If you have the chance you should take her!

The. Best. Ever. I was never bored once - she's very into the subject and finds ways to keep you interested... not to mention she's fricken hilarious. I went to every class and I 4.0'd easily - never even opened the book, she will literally GIVE you freebies if you go to class. So wonderful and helpful outside of class too - TAKE HER TAKE HER!!!!!!

She's super up beat and really fun to listen to. She goes through her slides slowly and you have to listen to her lectures, but they are entertaining and rarely dull. Our class had 200 but she still was really good about e-mailing back quickly to any questions and was always availible if you needed help. But it's a pretty easy class anyways.

Super cool. Great sense of humor, doesn't test you on statistics or numbers. You will enjoy her lectures! Very approachable- take her for as many classes as you can. No final- each test is 50 questions.

Awesome professor!! I took her summer 2009 and absolutely loved her. She is so funny and just a great person. She makes the class interesting and fun, and she really cares about her students, and people in general. The class is not difficult. Study the notes you take in class. She doesn't make the exam any harder than it needs to be.

Dr. Wren is hilarious. Her class was really really long but it wasn't too painful to sit through because she was pretty entertaining. If you take notes from her slides you will do well on the exams and not even have to read the book.

My favorite class that I've ever had to date! Dr. Wren is very funny which makes what we learn much more interesting and memorable. She's very good with questions during and after class (tends to remember your name easy). Tests are based off of notes, book, and what she randomly says. Wish she taught all semester instead of split teacher class.

BEST teacher I've ever had in my life. Endlessly helpful, positively hilarious and captivating, and will answer every single question. She wants you to pass. Attendance isn't mandatory. *I did not like how there were not many opportunities for points at all. Four or five labs and a final - thats it. No quizzes or practice tests. But SHE was awesome

Best professor I have ever had. So much enthusiasm and positive energy. I will take every class she offers. She is not an easy grader, though, so don't think it's a blow-off class, but by no means is she unfair. I really learned a lot and all of the things she taught us will stick with me for life. There's a lot of information to learn in this class, but Dr. Wren is phenomenal at teaching and getting the whole class involved in the topics. My favorite professor hands-down at OU. Had her for HS 201 and did very well also. Take her! (If you can even get into her class) She's in demand! :)

I never thought I would look forward to an 8am-11:30am Friday morning class! Tests are fairly easy-If you go to class, take notes and listen to what she has to say. Book is not needed!! She's an amazing professor! I would take all of her classes, if possible

The most genuine, caring, and entertaining professor at Oakland. I had some health concerns come up during the semester and she was instantly supportive and helpful. She cares about not only your grade but most importantly your health. She is positive, spunky, and easy going which makes the class have little to no stress.FAVORITE PROF!!

SUCH a great professor!! Inspires you to learn and really makes class interesting (even talking about how health care is dispersed among the U.S.). If you're studying health sciences - especially public health - she's probably one of the best I've had!

Dr. Wren is by far one of the best teachers at OU. 2nd time in one of her classes. The text book is not needed but helpful. Be sure to attend class, tests are right off notes, and she lets you know whats important and whats not. Great sense of humor, so classes are fun to attend. She is also very helpful and understanding.

I love Professor Wren. We barely used the textbook except during the lab reports. All the tests are based off of the power points, so it's crucial to take good notes in class! Dr. Wren is an amazing professor! I really enjoyed her class. The key to doing well on her exams are her lectures and powerpoints! Anything she says that aren't on slides are also pretty important. The book is good to have but she doesn't really follow it. All you need is just good notes from lecture to do well in the class! Highly recommend!

Great Professor, makes the class fun and interesting. extremely easy class, hard not to get a 4.0, however she plays a "trick" on her students on the first exam, she barely talks about experimental designs in class yet asks close to 15 questions on the exam, which through everyone off. all her other exams are easy and straight forward.

Professor Wren is awesome!!! If I am able to take her in a different class I will. She is funny and try her best to keep you paying attention because the class was 3 12 hours but she does a good job. Her exams are not bad if you study. You must attend class or you will fail. Exams are off her notes and the extra comments she mentions in class.

I took the class Issues in Women's Health as an elective. Dr. Wren is very inspirational and her lectures can be fun. She gives great feedback on papers and presentations, and isn't too hard of a grader. This class is awesome and I def recommend it to every female out there. You will leave that class a changed woman!

In order to pass this class, you must attend class and take thorough notes on her powerpoints, take extra notes on what she says in class & take pictures of graphs and write down what she says on it. Half of her material is based off the book, but need to go to class to pass! Her lectures were amazing, she is funny, & every enthusiastic! Loved her!

P. Wren is hilarious and super enthusiastic. Although its an easy class its not an easy 4.0. The material is easy, but the exams are a little challenging. She makes them kind of confusing and and sometimes a bit too long (one was 100 questions) But overall she is an amazing professor and tries to make the lectures fun. Attendance is MANDATORY.

Dr. Wren was really nice. She takes Public Health and made it fun to learn. Her tests are not easy and you have to attend class to know what you are being tested on. Made the class laugh at times and if you attend office hours and get at least a 3.5 she will write you a letter of recommendation. She inspired me to think of a career in Epidemiology!

Prof Wren is absolutely amazing. I'm so sad that I am almost ready to graduate and won't get the chance to take another class from her. She makes all of the material interesting and really wants her students to succeed. A normally boring class was turned into one that I looked forward to going to. MUST GO TO CLASS TO PASS!

The best professor I have had at OU (I'm a junior). She keeps the lectures interesting (adds humor), answers questions, and stockpiles you with information you will actually use. Her tests are straight forward; she will even tell you in lectures what not to focus on. That being said, GO TO CLASS. You'll enjoy yourself and get the grade!

She gives amazing feedback on papers and presentations, and her lectures and discussions are relevant and passionate. She is a professor at u of m dearborn now. Her lectures are very detailed and inspiring. She recommends the book but you don't need it if you have all the powerpoint notes (you must come to class to write them down as she lectures, she doesn't upload them). Weekly online discussions that you must participate in. Overall an eyeopening class.

PH2100 with Dr. Wren was one of the most interesting classes I have taken. You get all the knowledge you need for the class from her lectures. There is a large semester-long group project that was hard to do online but it helped me connect to some of my classmates. I actually took on a Public Health major due to how she taught this class.
