He is very laid back. Attendance is not required, but class participation can add 5% to your overall grade. Study guides are used, and he is very helpful in class and through email. If it's your first philosophy class, he's an excellent teacher to have. He's one of the best overall teachers that I have ever had.

The class is beyond boring unless you are interested in philosophy. He doesn't give tests, just online quizzes and discussion posts. Quizzes are frustrating sometimes because the answers can't be found online, in the text, or in class notes. Overall easy class but I do not like to argue or explain my every thought so it was not enjoyable for me.

Participate & you'll get much more out of the class. 60% are quiz based the other 40% were 2 discussions. Wish I had taken this over 16 weeks rather than 6. I took Professor Bailey this past Spring semester, and it was one of the most thought-provoking classes I've ever done. He gives plenty of assignments, but plenty of time to do them. He genuinely cares for his students, and if you reach out to him he always responds with any guidance needed. I was hesitant going into it, but I don't regret it.

I'm an engineering major so humanities have never been my thing. However, Professor Bailey made the class interesting enough for me to go back every day. The online quizzes are easy and the papers aren't as hard as one would think they will be. I found the class to be a little heavy, but maybe just because it wasn't really my thing.

The expectations were clearly defined and therefor easy to accomplish if you followed instructions. Would love if all my classes were like this.

This was my first time taking an online class, so it was a little difficult to adjust to the different learning style. If you take the online class, make sure to brush up on your reading comprehension. Very straightforward curriculum, if you put in the time, you will pass.

Professor Patrick Bailey was a good professor. He list clearly the module readings you have to read and will pass the module assessments. His test is unique so you will have to read what he provides however, they are very easy and as long as you follow his instructions you will be fine. He sets a strict schedule that never changes, very dependable

He was okay. Lectures were pretty boring. He's knowledgeable, everything's straightforward, but unit tests were hard to prepare for. Some material we hadn't gone over in class, and even going through modules+textbook wasn't all the info I needed most times. Other than that, I would say it's not too difficult to get a passing grade in this class.

Good structure and easy instructions. I really liked the content. It makes you think a lot and helps your critical thinking. The book is easy to read and there's Canvas content. Easy writing assignments, quizzes, and a few tests for your grade; a good amount of extra credit. Do the work and you'll pass.

Mr. Bailey is a great professor for online classes. Navigating the content made sense and he was always available to answer questions. The work isn't bad if you read and the book is required. This class really challenges you to think about what you believe and to be open minded to other ideas.

Professor Bailey was a great professor with very clear grading criteria and expectations. His schedule is very straightforward and rarely changed, which was really nice. The course content is very straightforward and the textbook is very helpful. He also offered multiple extra credit opportunities, and they were easy grade-boosters!

Easiest class ever, but don't let that get you lazy like I did because participation matters. Honestly, I don't think he even read my work. No matter what you write, as long as you have something and defend it you'll get and A. Despite what he says, he is very lenient and generous with due dates (as long as it's not too late of course).

super simple outlines and criteria given for our assignments and essays. being an online class, I don't have much to say about his personality but from the few times we emailed he was very kind and understanding. if you do the work on time and put in a smidge of effort, you'll get an A.

This was an online class that used lots of YT videos. There's lots of reading in the book and online. PAY ATTENTION TO DUE DATES! There were things started and due on weekends that I didn't see. You can't really work ahead in the class. Group discussion posts are a large part of the grade.

Online class. Easy A. No textbook needed. The class is reading modules and doing quizzes/tests. quiz dont include Honorlock. I never reached out to the teacher, so I don't have any response as far as the teacher's personality and their response time. If this teacher is avail, don't hesitate. sign up before the class is full.
