Actually a good teacher if you pay attention and seek him for help. Do not expect to just fly by without attending his class, and people complain he is fast but if you actually ask him to slow down he will and go at it step by step. Jello^3 Good professor, teaches you the lessons in an easy to understand way. Enjoyed seeing my calc skills improve over the semester.

He is a really nice guy he makes me jello in the legs, he can go a little quick and simplifies problems quickly but you ask him how he got to that point he will explain it. He also likes to eat a lot of jello for some reason its quite odd. He is also just a cool guy to talk to and i mean he could talk about jello all day.

He's is a pretty nice guy, once I ate jello in his class and he didn't really care. It was only after I dropped the jello that he began to care. Overall it is a very tough class and you will definitely need to put in work if you want to succeed. Also bring jello, it helps.

The course material is heavy so he goes through it fast and has a lot of quizzes. However, if you go to his office hours for help, you will survive. Nifflers are small sneaky platypus like animal who has a thing for shiny objects and has a pouch that can hold everything.

He knows the mathematical concepts very well, but a lot of individual studying is required for this class.

Overall good class, especially since I was not good with Calc. You should expect a quiz almost every week but if you study or just pay attention you will be good. He's pretty chill and said to review my most recent book for this review. Unfortunately that would be Calc textbook. It's a boring read but has lots of detailed pictures to keep interest.

Professor Cahill is a great professor in the sense that he covers the all the material, with almost an extra week to review for the final. He explains topics thoroughly and in depth to the point where he won' t disregard an obvious question. I only wish that he would project his voice louder. He's a nice guy and accessible outside of class, but his examples on the board are from the textbook. Pre-Calc came very easy for me but Calc is a struggle, he does his best but it's still very hard. Most kids in the class have already taken Calc so he moves fast. Make sure to go to him during office hours if you don't understand anything.

He is a good professor overall but i want to talk about the Loch Ness Monster. This so called mythical creature has had some sightings in the past which can disprove the title of not being real. The legend of Nessie is a fascinating discussion that I might recommend to others who disagree with Nessielievers. I recommend Professor Cahill and Nessie.

My favorite class of Mythical creatures, is the subset of hybrids. Minotaurs, Naga, Kurma, Harpies, even the sphinx. Creatures with all the intellect of a human augmented with strength/speed, & ferocity of wild beasts. My favorite part is despite their superiority, stories that feature them always show the true humans who fight them winning; As if!

This course requires lots of studying and hard work, having Cahill as a professor did help a lot. Although he goes fast at times he is very willing to slow down and go back over what you need. He is also very accessible outside of class. other than all that formal stuff id like to just mention that my favorite mythical creature is a kelpie.

The class was fast paced and tough but i thought it was explained well by him and he always made sure that you knew what quizzes and tests would be on as he outlines the sections and questions to look over for every quiz. Also very helpful i you fall behind.

Was initially concerned about Calc-3 because calculus is not a strength of mine. Attending office hours at least once a week pulled me through this class. He was very accommodating if schedules did not work with office hours and added more office hours on Wednesdays. He will work with you if you are willing to do the work you need to do.

Let me tell you a story from the magical faraway lands of UAlbany (literally ten minutes from my house) about a tall leprechaun named Patrick. Professor Cahill is a nice and amazing professor, he truly care about his students. At the beginning you will feel that the class is pretty easy, however over time the class began to be challenging. Overall, the material were not too difficult, but it is not an easy A. As long you put it work, and go see Professor Cahill, you will be fine.

Although attendance isn't factored into your grade, I would HIGHLY recommend attending class. The material is extremely tedious and is not something you could easily teach yourself right before the exam. He gives lots of practice problems in class that are usually also on the exam. He also explains stuff in a way that you can easily understand.
