He is a wonderful teacher. He makes everything very clear and does fun demonstrations in class. He's always willing to help you out. And I love the fact that we didn't have any big exams - just a quiz every week!

This professor was extremely nit picky, for example - labs had to be stapled and the staples were to be at a 45 degree angle! Good grief! Agreed to accept papers and later reneged. Did allow you to make up labs, but totally unwilling to work with a student when they had valid reasons for not being able to turn work in on time. Won't take again!

Wow. So hot. Really funny, too. The class is somewhat difficult if you just jump into it without any previous chemistry knowledge. Labs are fun. He makes class fun, might pick on you playfully from time to time, but is really nice and has helpful handouts. Study those for the tests.

Taking Chem online is difficult. He helps you by reviewing before lab & sometimes comes in early to start review if you can make it. His practice activities are very helpful, and he always helped when I asked. He never made me feel stupid. If you ask him a question he will sometimes ask a question back to help you understand.

I have him for lab and I think he is great and funny. He is very helpful when you don't understand and doesn't make you feel like an idiot if you don't. He was a very good understandable teacher!! He was very helpful and I highly recommend him, he is straight to the point and helps you ouT! He had us work in groups in most of the class periods, just so we understood the material!! So, yes take this guy!!!

Very nice, very fun. Makes class interesting and understandable. Combines lecture with in-class group work to make sure you understand the subject. Tests are pretty easy, and he posts his notes online (very helpful!). I would definitely recommend this professor!

He makes class very exciting by having a lot of class participation. He tries to ensure that everyone understands before he moves on. He make the material not so boring and relatable to real life. His tests are easy and he gives a lot of extra credit. I love going to his class!!!

Greco is straightforward and totally helpful. He makes sure that you learn as a class. He does not require memorizing the Table of Elements (or didn't) but I still know it better than those who did have to memorize. Highly recommend!!

I got D's in chemistry in High school and passed his class with a high B. He teaches it so even someone who is not a math or chem wiz can learn it.

I took this class online, and you need to be able to teach yourself to do well, but patrick was super helpful anytime I went to him. tests are fair, make sure you do his practice problems!!

Really liked this teacher. It wasn't a really hard class, but he drove the basic concepts home that you needed to understand, and made it clear what he expected on the tests through his study guides.

I took Mr. Greco's class online and I thought he was extremely helpful. The class is tough online, but that's to be expected. I ended up missing a test and he let me come in and take it while he was teaching a class. He wants to see his students succeed. Excellent instructor!!

interent course was difficult for many but I did well. Be sure to read the modules online and ask for help if you need it

I am taking my third class with Greco and I think he is a great teacher. He is very nice, and helpful, usually, when I have a question. He is probably one of my favorite teachers at Sinclair. I got an A in 151, A in 152, and will probably get an A this quarter. Take Greco if you want an excentric, amusing teacher that can keep your attention.

I cannot say enough good things about this professor. He is funny, engaging, and is able to make chemistry UNDERSTANDABLE. Takes time to answer questions and offers diff. times when he is available for further help. Laid back classroom atmosphere. He tells you what to study for tests-no bs. Mr. Greco's a great teacher! He's very helpful in helping you understand the material and grades fairly. He has his own way of teaching instead of straight out of the text book. I know people who have failed Chemistry before, but after taking him as a teacher they understood chemistry and passed.

I absolutely LOVE Greco. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He has his own way of explaining things and it makes it so easy to understand. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! Especially people that really don't understand Chem.

I think that Professor Greco is a wonderful teacher. He makes a sometimes difficult interesting with in class demonstrations, and using things that we would use in everyday life. I would recommend him to anyone.

Patrick is an excellent teacher. He really cares about his students. He is not an easy teacher, but he encourages his students to study hard and do well and gives all the help he can.

Provides complete lecture powerpoints. He doesn't require it, but it is important to attend class regularly because he is much better at explaining things verbally than in writing.

I only had lab with Prof. Greco, but I thoroughly enjoyed being in his lab. A very knowledgable instructor. Friendly, approachable, clearly cares about his students' progress. Wish I had the opportunity to take lecture with him!

Superb professor! I took chem at WSU and got a C and a D, I got an A in his class. I now understand chem concepts I've never understood before because of his great teaching style. He has an interactive method that really worked for me. He also gives out worksheets that give you the practice you need to master his weekly quizzes.

I only took a lab with him, but i really liked the way he teaches and explains chemistry. Way to go professor !!! Ur an excellent teacher !!!

His teaching style was fantastic using both a PowerPoint and demos in nearly every class. He would also provide dry erase boards where during times of explaining new material, he'd ask a question and allow us to respond by applying the new concept to see if we understand or not. He's a great guy to learn from and makes the class fun yet stil learn.

Excellent Chemistry teacher. Took another prof here and got an F. Taking him and will end up with a B+ or A-. Keeps class involved and is very funny and helpful. I hate chemistry, but he made it fun.

He's a pretty cool teacher. Uses powerpoint and has you print the slides before class. He uses dry erase boards to make sure everyone understands, which is really awesome to me, because I don't really like to answer questions out loud. He's funny and smart, it's a fun class.

I agree he is a high quality instructor. He teaches the class like it was a re-fresher course though. Never had chemistry in my life and he moves thru the material fast. Get a tutor on the side. I will still highly recommend his class. He does make you learn the subject.

Very good instructor! Chemistry is not easy by any means, however, he makes it fun & teaches you what you need to know. He will help you, just ask for it. Go to class, put in study time, & use all resources you should do fine.

I just took my first exam in this class & although I found it to be difficult, he seems fair. He is very available to help if you ask & he takes extremely hard material and has a way of simplifying it to beginner terms. I highly recommend his class! You can tell he truly cares about teaching and wants to help you do well! Study hard! 10+hrs per/wk!

I really liked this teacher! Chemistry is not necessarily an easy class but he teaches very well. He gives you a lot to practice. I recommend listening to his power points. One of the best Professors I have ever had. He cares about his students and it shows. Has a way of making something confusing interesting and helps you to actually understand the concept. Fair and prepares students for things such as the teas test because he knows you need to actually learn to be successful . One of the best at SCC!

I had Professor Greco for the lab that went along with my chemistry course. All of our pre-lab and post-lab assignments can be accessed and completed online, so even if you miss the actual lab course every once in a while, you still can read over your lab book and receive credit for completing the other two parts online. Very helpful to students.

Probably one of my favorite teachers I've ever taken. Hilarious, extremely intelligent, and more than willing to help you if you asked. Labs were never drawn out or long, and he explained them really well before we did them. I highly recommend taking him for lab!

Dr Greco is not the easiest instructor, he has high expectations of his students. However, this is an asset to those who need to continue on to higher level courses. He stresses chemical 'literacy' and I feel more prepared to move on than if I eked by with someone 'easier'. He is always willing to go out of his way to help.

Dr. Greco was awesome! He breaks down the material to simpler terms. Just do the work he gives you and pay attention in lecture. He gives extra credit! He keeps you interested the whole class with his teaching style. If I needed another chem class, I would definitely take it with him!

I took Dr. Greco for my Gen Chem Lab, and was very pleased. The labs are atrocious due to the confusing lab manual and assumption that you have knowledge that you don't learn until Gen Chem II, but Dr. Greco makes sure you understand what you need to know for each lab. He was very helpful and save my grade.

Dr. Greco was a phenomenal instructor. His expectations are high and he works you, but it pays off in the end. His demonstrates are most likely on the many quizzes you will have. Expect honework. Pay attention. There's a lot of material to cover. People tend to complain but its probably the ones who don't put forth the wholehearted effort.

I took Chem 1111 online with Dr. Greco. It was mostly a self-directed course, straight from the online supplementary materials of the textbook. He provided ungraded practice sheets for each chapter, which he wrote and developed from the tests. If you're a fairly independent student, his online section is perfect for you.

I have taken Patrick for CHE1111 and CHE1221 and I would take him again in a heartbeat. His teaching style is extremely helpful to students and he really seems to care about helping people succeed. He provides numerous work sheets that give a very clear example of the material that will be on the test. Patrick made chemistry my new favorite class!

I have taken Patrick for Chem1221 and its lab. I wish I have taken Chem 1 with him! Take his class without hesitation, he would make you LOVE chemistry. His teaching style is amazing and he provides lots of work sheets that makes understanding the material even easier. Attendance is not mandatory but his explanation is what makes you get good grade

If you show up to class and understand the material, make sure to study for his tests, otherwise you will not pass. His tests are not too hard, but make sure you study, otherwise you will not understand anything. I also recommend doing work outside of class that he gives you for extra understanding. He is also very helpful outside of class.

i took Dr. Greco for general chem 1. he's really laid back guy and is willing to help wherever needed. it's a pretty self-directed class so if you're an independent worker this class is great for you. Most of the material comes from lectures and the online source "Aleks". The quizzes are just like the weekly assignments (1 quiz per week)

I took Dr G for my chem lab, and he was great. The course was remote learning with only 2-3 Zooms you HAVE to attend otherwise you won't pass. If you dont pass lab you don't pass Chem. He was super understanding when I had late work due to Covid. He did make my class participate a few times with our cameras on, but he lectured great

I took Greco for lecture and he is a VERY laid back professor. His class mainly consist of Aleks and quizzes on there. His lectures weren't so helpful to me but once in a while he'll do example problems which helped. Mainly learned on Aleks. There is only one final exam which is not hard if you truly study and remember what you did.

Professor Greco was an amazing chemistry professor. His relaxation during labs always made me feel calm. He was always willing to help us if we were struggling. 100% would recommend.

ALEKS will take up ALL of your time. does not let you make up the weekly quizzes so expect to be there. lab was very chill & easy. if youre behind he has somewhat of an attitude. we used whiteboards & he rushes you to answer in 1 min or less or he gets impatient. he lectures very well & makes it v easy to understand

Professor Greco is very funny and made the lab extremely enjoyable. He never threw us into a lab without clearly explaining it to us first and making sure we understand. He is a bit of a tough grader but I would still highly recommend him

I really enjoyed this class with Dr. Greco! He really cares that his students understand the material and his lectures are very direct in covering what you need to know for the test. Study guides too! Having previous knowledge of Chemistry from high school helped me a lot, so if you haven't taken the class before it may be decently time-consuming.

Dr. Greco is an amazing lecturer and provides plenty of supplemental material to help students understand concepts. He incorporates lecture, hands-on activity, and group work in his course that helps students approach material from different angles. If you do the work, review, read ahead if you can, and ask questions, you'll succeed in this course.

He is awesome! He provides us with so many helpful resources AND he writes the best pieces on the weekly subject which helps the subject feel relatable and understandable. I enjoyed reading them.

This was truly one of my favorite classes I have taken during my time at Sinclair. Lectures are incredble. Group work happens but it is not for a grade. Attendence is not necessarily required but is necessary because all the information is in the lectures. 7 tests in the semester.

Greco's class is a mixed bag - lectures can be hit or miss, but the work on ALEKS is key to success. Attending class and using resources like unstuck AI for study prep are musts. With dedication, you can do well in this challenging but manageable course.

Took gen chem at a large school and this was a million times better you will not get an easier experience in a class that can be as difficult as gen chem. If you show up to class and do the worksheets you'll pass. Only place i feel Greco could have done better is with the chemical reactions unit, in all other exams I got an A with low effort.
