WOW I HAVE NEVER FOUND SUCH A EASY PROFESSOR AS PROF. O'HALLORAN! HE REALLY BREAKS DOWN THE PROBLEMS FOR YOU! DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE FINAL EXAM BECAUSE YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT THE FINAL EXAM IS THE SAME AS THE HW!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET IT AS GOOD AS THIS!!! NO-BRAINER A IN THIS CLASS!

Be honest! He is not so good for teaching account, but you can get a good grade for the class. Why? Because he will tell you everything on the exam. Of course, you can get a good grade. Anyway, you just learn his methods that you pass! If you want to be a real ACCOUNTING in HOSPITALITY,you cannot learn a lot from his class. Enjoy!!! Have fun!

Excellent knowledge of the industry. Everything he says is indicative to the working world. You would have to be a real idiot to fail his class. He gives you the answers to the questions on the quiz. There is no reason to fail his class.

You do not need the book, but you must attend every class and be on time. You would be an idiot to fail this class, he gives all the exam answers on the review. No brain work needed to get an "A".

There is no doubt that he is easy and all. He is very strict with attendance and you can't be late for one second. ANDDD you can't talk in class not even ask your classmate ANYTHING even if it regards this class. He will be like ,"ohhh? you asking him/her for number huhh?" As if you have a thing going on. I took him for Lodging & Legal Environment & I love him OMG!! He's a very straight forward person, do what he asks and you WILL get an "A", no textbooks so you can save your money, he tells jokes and he'll put you on the spot if your late or if your talking or texting in class, but he's real cool and he's always willing to help you. I LOVE THAT GUY

It's an easy class but you still have to do the work or you will fail. He's a cool guy & has no problem helping you at anytime. He's clear he doesn't add extra and goes over every quiz and exam. He doesn't like tardiness and if you're going to be late or absent send him an email...he appreciates that.

He is very straightforward and clear with his teachings. He gives easy tests and assignments are generally easy to do, just make sure you do everything the way he likes it. He likes to overly compliment certain students. Make sure you are never late for his class and that you always show you are paying attention.

This is one of the easiest professors you will encounter in this department. His exams are very easy as long as you do your HW. His teaching though may not be the best. A lot of times I had to figure out myself what he was trying to say, but if you ask questions hell do his best to answer them. Want an easy A, take him.

Good professor overall. I recommend to take his lodging operation class. Took this class 2 semester ago. Just make sure to always be on time and participate in the class. Don't forget to practice, practice on the Front Office Management Simulation student package CD.

One of the greatest professors i had in my life. EASY A! It is almost impossible to NOT get an A in his class. You would really have to go out of your way to not get one. He really tries to help and if you miss a class.. he will allow to make it up. Extremely understanding and helpful.

The class is easy to pass, but he is VERY sarcastic that it comes off as disrespectful. If you answer back to him in any way, he will try to fail you even though there is very little work to do in the class besides the assimilation. He also takes lateness and absence very serious, but will allow you to attend another class to make up.

if you need to keep up your GPA; then any classes he is teaching, just go ahead and take it. all he ask of your is to be respectful, take part in his class, and don't be late for his class either, then you getting an A.

We need more Professors like Professor O’Halloran. Make sure to take one of his courses. Professor O' Halloran is an amazing professor. He truly cares about his students. I've learned so much about the hotel industry. He gets right to the point. The material in class covers everything you need to know in a hotel. Class was always interesting!

He knows a lot of people in the industry and is well respected by all of them. Not many professors in the program have worked in the industry. Many of them are just book smart. Professor O’Halloran, on the hand, is a combination of both. He worked for many many years in the industry and went to school as well.

He is one of the very few professors in the program that doesn't support unpaid internships. Professor O'Halloran always wants what is best for the students. He understands that as college students we have bills and other responsibilities. He won't ask you to quit your job in order to pursue an unpaid internship,like many members of the faculty do.

Professor O'Halloran is all about coming to class and showing up in terms of participation. If your shy and a wallflower then this isn't the class for you. As for the exams they are not hard if you study. If you don't then good luck with that.

HMGT 4998 was a great class! It made me really think seriously about the way I behaved when drinking and helped me to take a more responsible role when around others drinking. Lives could be saved if more students knew how important their drinking choices really were. And it couldn't have been taught by a better Professor! The best!
