Knows his stuff. Goes over all the material so you don't have to read the book. The book is for homework exercises only. Very clear and concise.

He knows what he is talking about. Learned a lot for this class. Did not give me what I deserve at the end of the semester.

The best professor to take CS301 with, just come to class and do the homework and show up to a few office hours when confused and you will get an A.

Great teacher, flunked the midterm and he replaced the final grade for both scores, passed his class with a B. Very fair!! Take his class!

He is very smart and knows what he is talking about. Spent hours going over microsoft word and other easy stuff and then flew by computer programming like it was easy. I don't think many people knew what they were doing unless they were IT people.

Very easy class. Easy A. If you have to take this class, take this professor.

As long as you show up to class and raise your hand when you need help, this class is a breeze. I recommend starting your final project soon after the mid term because that is mainly what your grade is based on.

Guidelines to passing are very clear. He is easy to talk to during class and office hours. Not very entertaining, but that's not his job. Knowledgeable and friendly!

Very helpful in describing the methods in practical uses as well as many other applications. Would like to have additional courses provided as Instructor.

Prof is so easy to get along with I liked his class, even though it wasn't mandatory to attend I would. And I was able to get an A after doing all the CSL and HW...

Hard class but good teacher. His lectures could get confusing but he has the students best interest in mind. Our whole class bombed one of the tests and he offered a ton of extra credit so we could all make up our points. Weekly quizzes but all the questions are from the back of the chapter questions. read the book! Take his class, very helpful!

10 PRS quizes 3 exams. exams are very easy if you read the book and make sure you understand the exercise like "check myself" on the book you will be fine! exams have extra points. the homework is easy just try and you will get full points!!

He is a very nice teacher. Always ready to help his students. He wants his students to enjoy his class and understand the basics of Physics. Doesnt overload with HW. Do the HW and study for tests and quizes. Gives TONS of extra credit :) Class maybe a little boring at times but he tries his best to make students to have fun in his class.

Service learning is required for this course (4 hours). Attendance is not mandatory but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Some things are taught in class that are not clearly demonstrated in the text. Don't wait to ask for help at the last minute, he is there to help all students succeed.

He's pretty boring, but very easy. If you go to class and take notes you'll be fine. Study the textbook for exams and you'll have a quiz every tuesday. He pretty much grades labs as credit/no credit... they're easy. I don't feel like i retained a lot of knowledge from this class but i got 108%.....

He is a really loveable prof! he is extremely helpful and helps with ANYTHING you have trouble with! he extends our due dates if we have trouble and he understand we have other classes. Easy A class! open book tests. class isn't mandatory.

Best teacher I've had. Very clear with his teaching and he always gives real life examples for concepts. He also gives you so much extra credit. You could fail both tests and the final and still pass.

He's such a nice,sweet guy. He takes genuine interest in his students, doesn't mind answering questions. REALLY does care about you learning and growing as a person. Lecture is boring, but stick around, he's got wise words. A LOT of EC. You WILL learn something. Applies it to real world.

Easy easy class. Just go to class and listen to his power points. He's a really nice guy that will help you out if you don't understand what's going on.

I absolutely hate computers, but I loved Patrick Sebrechts. He is soooo nice and approachable. He is very smart, helpful and handsome.

OMG this professor is adorable, he's such a sweet and intelligent guy, you might be afraid you are failing at first but he gives you soo much extra credit you don't have to worry, it's not always the most interesting but he's really intelligent and willing to hep would definitely recommend!

Besides trying to find a location to teach at, this class was really easy. He grades VERY easy on homework. Attendance is not mandatory and he posts all of his lessons online.

Very easy class. He grades very easy on homework and exams. There was A LOT of busy work. This class took the majority of my time during the semester. So if you plan on taking this class with 15+ units I would steer you away. If not easy A. You will also learn a thing or two!

One of my favorite professors! Lectures are interesting and he makes it enjoyable. Buy an iclicker, quizzes are everyday. He gives so much extra credit. I left my Macbook in the classroom once. I live in Temec so I thought it would be gone by the time I went back. He left the door unlocked even at 9:30PM and hid my mac on the desk for me:)

I'm a procrastinator, but don't procrastinate on the HW's. Some of it is difficult and some of it is just busy work. Take advantage of his student discussion blog if you're taking it online and find someone in the class to do everything with.. that definitely made my life much easier. Meet with him if you are confused, he is helpful!!

He is such a nice guy! Always there to answer questions or help you in lab. Classes can be boring because it's all power point but you do need to go because he has a clicker quiz each class. Overall it was a pretty easy class and he really wants everyone to do well so he gives a lot of opportunities for extra points, also he curves the tests a lot!

Attendance is not mandatory, but helps understanding the homework and exams. A lot of work, and requires patience. Overall easy class. Open book exams.

It is a boring class, but very easy. There are daily quizzes the first 10 minutes of class. Lab is credit/ no credit.

The head professor never gave hime any of the material needed for test. Did not have a Midterm or a Final so the grade was 90% participation. The lack of tests was not Professor Sebrechts fault. He is very clear in lectures and very approachable.

Nice guy who really cares about student success. The lectures may be boring, but you learn a lot of interesting information. Highly recommend.

Class was mostly boring. Teaches directly from the book and all lectures are very long. Gives iclicker quizzes every class so make sure you attend class. Gives extra credit opportunity so if you're not a physicists, do the extra credit! Did not crack any jokes at all and assigns homework out of the book. HW is easy because answer key is in book.

all clicker quiz answers can be found online. doesn't care if the whole class misses a question - just moves on without much explanation. TONS of extra credit available though. super easy exams. all homework answers are in the book and you can just copy the answers. attendance only mandatory at beginning of class to take quizzes.

Easiest class I have ever taken. Would recommend taking if you are not a science major. You can earn almost half the total points in iclicker quiz extra credit. Test questions are very basic, he really wants you to pass. Probably one of the nicest teachers ever. Don't buy the expensive textbook, just borrow the library copy for the assigments.

He lectured every class and gave an iClicker quiz at the beginning of every class, so kids left after the quiz. There was 2 tests and an opportunity for 100 point extra credit paper. Super easy class would definitely take again.

While his lectures can get long and boring, Professor Sebrechts does want you to do well in his class. As long as you show up to class, do the clicker quizzes, and study for the exams, you should do very well in the class. He also gives out extra credit opportunities which do help. There was very minimal homework for this class.

Science never quite peaked my interest and the professor's monotone voice could not capture my attention too well. However, he is a great guy! He really cares about his students and there well-being. I have a ton of respect for this professor!

Fill in your loose leaf text book from day one. If you fill it in, you'll know what is happening in the class, and what to study for when the 2 exams come. Keep up on the home work. He's a caring professor. Easy to talk to. Would take again. He explains physics in a understandable way. I've never taken physics before, and found it to be a fun class

He's such a nice professor and really cares about what he teaches. BUY THE WORK BOOK!! All of his lecture are word for word on the workbook he tells you to buy. I would just bring the book to class and follow along with him as he teaches. Also you need a Clicker, this is how he grades participation. each day you have Clicker questions on the board.

He is very helpful, has amazing lectures that include videos and make the subject very easy to comprehend, I learned so much in this class that I was constantly talking about Physics. He is a very easy grader but you do have clicker quizzes that you need to go to class to get the points.

I never had taken physics before but I am glad I took it with this professor. He cares about his students and about them passing the class. BUY THE TEXTBOOK & SHOW UP TO CLASS! He gives clicker questions each class for credit and you fill in your textbook as he lectures. The exams aren't difficult IMO. He gives an extra credit assignment too.

You have to go every day because he gives multiple clicker quizzes per class, but he will give you the answers. Extra credit at end of semester which helps. Online quizzes at home, 100% just for doing them. 30 multiple choice question midterm. 20 multiple choice final. Keeps track of participation w Poll Everywhere, he gives you the answers, so go to class! You dont need the textbook, instead take pictures of all of the MC questions on his slides cause theyre the exact same ones on the tests!
