I took Mr Stauffers summer class and I must agree that his level of teaching makes it fun and interesting. He grades fairly, and there are many essays that are required. They are fun and at the same time you learn a lot about you as a person. I highly recommend this class to anyone whom is ready to take either Eng 1301 or 1302.

I am taking the summer II class and it is very easy and clear. He presents information for you to understand and will allow you to re-write essay. Get ready though, a talker, but easy A as long as you do your assignments.

This teacher is very nice. There are a lot of written assignments, but he gives you until the end of the semester to turn them in. He gives you a research paper that you will work on for almost the whole semester, I did mine last minute and got a B on it. He really likes to talk to expect that, sometimes boring but mostly very nice and funny.

There should be more teachers like him. He spends time individualy with each student. Very helpful and does not play favortism at all. He's a great instructor

Mr. Stauffer is very helpful and would do anything you need in order to pass his class. HE TALKS A LOT, but if you listen to what him teach, you would learn much. If you are looking for an easy class this is it, be ready to do lots of essays and quizzes.

Seriously? He so easy! If you fail his class, there is something wrong with you. you have to do a midterm research paper and he accepts late work! As long as you do your work, your good to go. This class is an easy A.

OMG I'm takng him this summer for the summer term, and he is so easy! We do an essay a week but he is an easy grader! Also, no book is needed! He replies to emails fast and he is willing to work with you in whatever you need! What more can you ask for!! Easy A!!!

I took Mr. Stauffer for both COMP 1 & 2. He understands we all have lives outside of school and is very lenient with things. He grades papers quickly and if you turn them in earlier, he will let you rewrite it for a better grade. Overall a great person! Highly recommend you take him!

Great professor, helpful, u do learn. but u have to do a lot of work, not a easy class. would not recommand for anyone who doesn't like reading or writing. by the way, there r two in-class paper exams which i don't like most.

took this prof for multi lit. Didn't realize that i had it in me to write poetry and he brought out the good in me. Awesome. Had no need for the class but it was required to graduate. Am thankful. He opened my eyes.

Old school professor. I missed so many of his classes and I'm still passing. He helped everyone individually with their research paper, which was amazing! Stays after class to talk if you have questions, challenges you topic for the research paper to make you think harder. He might be a little boring but he isn't hard, he can be silly sometimes

If you go to class, and turn in your assignments,you should have no problem passing. EASY A OR B, just go to his class!!I truly enjoyed his class, he takes reading to another level, and helps you understand the interpretations of the short stories. I am not big on reading, but his class helps you grow interest in reading

Do the papers and turn them in on time, thats it. Doesnt count off for spelling or grsmmar, how can you not pass this class?? dont slack off!

super easy class! prof stauffer is awesome! really easy to get along with. 4 essays throughout the course. 20 journals due at the end of the semester. midterm essay and final exam essay. i highly recommend this prof.

Mr. Stauffer was a great instructor. His directions and instructions were straight forward and understanding. class was very fun in interested we had 20 journal entries due at the end of the smester and 4 papers. In we basically just went over what he expected in our essays and examples of the type of essay we had to write. I enjoyed his class!

Great, professor! If you're major is in English he is the guy for you! put effort into it and he will grade fairly he truly reads the papers that students turn in!

The assignments were easy to follow. They were spaced out every two weeks. You will have no clue if you met Mr. Stauffer expectations until you turn in your assignment and get the final grade. It took weeks to get feedback on your assignment. He mistyped an assignment grade and most importantly my final grade. I am now waiting for a correction

This professor is insanely nice and very helpful. If you ever have any issues you can always talk to him about it. I will definitely be taking another class from him. If you do the work you will get the grade you deserve.

He is nice but, he is too hard grading. I worked really hard on my essays and I never accomplished his expectations.

Great Professor. Replies to emails quickly and lets you know exactly what is expected of you. He decided one of my papers was off topic; instead of failing me on it, he told me the issue and let me rewrite it. I wish I had taken him in person because he seemed entertaining. You won't regret taking him!

Incredibly nice professor. He lectures a lot, but does it very well. Replies to emails quick. Lets you know what he expects of you, and gives good feedback on assignments. Makes the semester fun and is super understanding that you have other responsibilities in other classes. No tests except for midterm and final. Definitely taking him for 1302!

Great teacher, replies to comments quickly, BUT he is NOOTT an easy grader. Made an 80 on most of my essays and worked my but off on them and didnt make an A. Take this class, but keep in mind hes not an easy grader. You have to work your but off on the assignments and READ. NO BOOK required.

I took him Fall 2016 and was a bit hesitant because of the reviews but I had to take the class because it was one of the few still open. But I actually really enjoyed his class. It's true he is a hard grader so if english isn't your best subject, you might want to get extra help. He answered all my questions with clarity and was willing to help

Only about 4 essays due for the entire semester and also a midterm and final which he lays out extra clearly. great teacher. easy A. i haven't gotten a grade lower than 90 on any of my essays. easy A

Great Professor - No textbook required only essays

His lectures are interesting, he is enthusiastic about his class. Work for it on time and you are good to go. I don't know why there are a lot of negative comments about him. I agree that he gives a lot of papers but he is liberal when it comes to correcting it. You have to do 4 -5 essays for the class but he gives enough time and material for it.

His lectures are not boring and not very long he teaches what he has to and then once done you are able to leave. Not like other professors who bore you to death!

Great professor. Fairly easy class. What he expects is very clear and gives ample time to complete essays. Took his for 1301 wrote a total of 4 essays plus a journal, midterm and a final. No randoms essays or quizzes

Professor Stauffer is a good teacher very clear cut and to the point. He requires a book and its up to you to use it. He grades fairly , and gives feedback for essays turned in. I took him 1301 and 1302 and made b's had to apply myself as I learned.

Enjoyed taking him during the fall semester. Theres are multiple essays due throughout the semester but he will make sure he explains what he expects on an essay so you better listen. Definitely say goodbye to your typical 5 paragraphs essays because he believes theres more details that need to be said in these essays.

The most inspirational professor that I've ever taken, He will always help you with your essays. There is 3 essay 1 Midterm 1 Final. For your Research Paper he does consultations which is Thesis, Outline,Sources, and Rough Draft. PLEASE PUT HARD Work in it. ONE PIECE Of Advise he does not accept late work at all.

Professor Stauffer is a tough grader but an astound professor. If you are looking for an easy class, do not take him. You will have to work and apply yourself. If you enjoy and seek to better yourself in your academic journey you will love him. I took him online due to COVID. He gives detailed feedback and is more than willing to help you succeed.

Taken online this semester. He's very approachable during and after class sessions. He's very helpful with working through the term paper and the outline that accompanies it. I chose him for this course based on previous reviews and he's miles better than I could have expected. Take him, listen, take notes and ask questions. You'll be glad you did.

Great English instructor. I use everything he taught me on a daily basis. And if you get something wrong, his feedback is so great. Sometimes he let me redo certain assignments as well.

This teacher was amazing. he gives great feedback on what you are doing right or wrong and tell you how to improve on your writing. Just make sure you do it to the best of your ability and he will work with you on it. make sure you do talk to him about your weaknesses and strengths and he will work with you accordingly. definitely recommend him.

Ight. No cap prob the best English class I ever took. Not hard. Show to class and listen. From the first day, you got 4 essays you got to complete for the semester and no other extra work. He chill and very understanding.

Overall he is a great professor. He truly looks out for his students and makes sure they are all keeping up with the assignments. He has check-ins to see how the progress on the assignments are going. I would recommend keeping up with the assignments or else you will have more check-ins. You will learn a lot in his class.

Professor Stauffer is one of the best teachers I could've taken, he cares about his students. The only part is he has lectures that will put you to sleep, but other than that he is helpful.

Really sweet and understanding. He asks for the textbook, but it's personal use and not used in class, i say buy the book if you choose too. He's very funny and talkative during his lectures but you can get a little sleepy. There's 4-5 essays in total, the topics can be easy but a bit boring. The essays are the only work for this class.

Professor Stauffer is so sweet and caring, he was very easy to talk to. I took him for spring, in person classes. Very easy. During the lectures he would show what he expected from the student essays. He also shows multiple sample essays within ALL lectures. The work load is very easy, from the start he will show many essays are due and when.

This professor is awesome. I got him in the past and decided to get him again. This class was interesting but get prepared to reed a lot. On the bright side there are few essays to do. But each essay is important. If you want a class you wont struggle in definitely choose this professor.

Professor Stauffer is nice and kind. Overall there are 6 essays in total, 4 of them you have to write outside of class and are roughly a month apart and the last 2 are the midterm and final. He also shows you how to write his essays and shows you examples. I highly suggest you submit your essays to a tutor before submitting them to him.

Best professor ever. He is very funny and silly, easy person to get along with. His lectures are always fun and very simple, he also says hi in the hallways and memorizes students' names. 100% would take him again.

I really enjoyed his class and I would take him again. He is very understanding of students and gives very good feedback on papers. In his class you will need a textbook but we rarely used it though, but I still recommend it to look back on! We had a total of 6 essays for his class they came w example essays to look at so it was easier to do :)

Great Professor. 2 Analysis essay, one quiz, one giant research paper, and an annotated bibliography of articles used in research paper. The final is an Essay. Professor was very patient with everyone and had constant graded check ins for research paper.
