I will miss you Patrick.
Personally, I enjoyed being in Professor Randolph's class. A lot of time I found myself considering lecture time as a fun and interesting moment to meet my wonderful Professor. Moreover, the class seemed to be like a family and he was a parent to all of us. if I had to choose the best professor, I would choose him again.
I will be eternally grateful to this very copacetic instructor for how he bend over backwards to not only teach as his responsibilities state, but also he was too inspiring and creative to bring nifty teaching styles through debates, vocabulary use, group projects and pop quizzes which all improved our English language skills tremendously.
Mr. Randolph has a myriad of teaching skills that can help a student to improve his writing and speaking skills. For instance, before taking his class i was bad in writing summaries but he continued to encourage me that i can be concise and be informative in writing. He enjoys speaking with students and each class he starts with exercises.

I have taken Mr. Randolph's classes twice, namely Engl 150 and Engl 151. Prepare to print or keep a lot of papers in his class. To him, participation is everything so he will try very hard to encourage it, however, sometimes it just feels like he's trying too hard. He is very helpful at guiding you on how to write.
He is an amazing lecturer. The activities he held for the students were awesome and fun. By the same token, those activities were helping students to get good grades. As he listed in his 'teaching philosophy', efforts had to be equally distributed for students and lecturer. He is willing to teach if only you are willing to learn.
If you do the work and take an interest, Mr. Randolph will work hard for you. Even if you don't like writing. He inspires.

Mr. Randolph like to meet with his students. Not all teachers are like that, I suggest you go to his office hours. He likes to tutor students one -to-one. Take advantage of this. He is a gentleman. Is he British without the accent?
He has different way of teaching his students, actually I took the two classes with him and I would take another classes with him again, I enjoyed his class because of the methods of learning. You will benefit a lot and you will get the grade that you deserve, interesting class where there is no place for boredom.

Mr. Patrick made 150 a fun and intriguing class. It is hard because you have a lot of work. But I learned many things like vocabulary, the way to write a concise analysis, and how to go into detail. It is worth it. I recommend the class.
Mr. Patrick organizes the class and tells to what you need to write and make your writing better. He spends a lot of time with you. The class is inspiring.
I had Mr. Patrick for ENG187. I recommend him to all my friends. He also teaches 150. I learned about not just English but he also taught of philosophy.
Mr. Randolph is one of the unique teachers because he actually writes AND teaches writing. Most of my ESL teachers have not published any academic articles. How can they teach if they do not do it?
I found the class to be a nice prep for my 187 class with another professor. She said I was a good writer. I think it was mr. Randolph who helped.
We thought Mr. Patrick's class was one of the most challenging courses but also the most fun. I didn't get an A, but the B+ was worth it. I think Mr. P should teach in my country. He can change the way we write back home.
