Probably one of the best teachers at Miami Dade. The characteristic that sets her above the rest is the passion she has for the field of study which is evoked through her lecture examples that appeal to students with a hunger for anthro. She does lecture alot but all you have to do is copy down the powerpoints because the test are all take home and they come right out of the powerpoints. This woman is incredible! She is one of the top professors if not THE top professor in the college. You gotta be there on time because you'll be lost if you're not. Come a few minutes before the class even starts, 5 mins on average. She's very punctual and she let's her students know when she isn't coming to class so check your email every morning.

What a great professor, hands down! Don't be intimidated by her on the first day, I promise she means well and wants you to genuinely learn. I had her for a 6 week mini-term, and time flies by fast. Within the 6 weeks she assigned 10 journal article essays and 2 TAKE HOME exams; easy A's! Gained so much knowledge, and would take her class again!!

She is the best professor I've taken in my first semester, ever. Every moment is a learning moment and the class is easy as long as you take good notes and review them the day before the test. She occasionally derails and goes off topic, but even then it's awesome. She is extremely knowledgeable and smart and understanding. Textbook isn't used.

At first I thought I wouldn't pass, but because of her I did pass the class, and I'm glad I took her. 6 quizzes each worth 20 points, 2 exams each worth 100 points, gives little extra credit if you need it, and a group project with you and another partner. She was really sweet, she can go off topic at times, but it shows she cares enough to help u.

Professor Harris is such a cool professor and if you take her class, you won't regret it. It's literally an easy A if you just do the work. You do 8 journal entries that may have no longer than 10 sentences, then a group project. Other than that she makes the environment in her class welcoming.

Great professor, she has slick mouth but is a very intelligent woman. Her lectures were awesome, she knew so much it was interesting and intriguing to hear and converse back with her. The assignments were extremely easy, everything was on line. Don't be late, and don't be sensitive; she's only making her points.

At first she'll seem like a tough and mean professor but that's just to establish respect in the beggining and is actually the sweetest and the best at what she does. Professor Harris is a strict for grading. She knows very well for her teaching strategy and also give power-point that relate in the test. Of course you will need a book for her class and she is giving tests and essay homework in blackboard but she is not accepted late assignment and test. There have 4 tests and 4 essays for the whole semester.

Likes to indulge in her pov on politics which can be annoying and will humiliate if you come in late but take power point notes and you'll get an A. Took this class online. The class was composed of quizzes, pre-tests, essays, and test modules. Not a difficult subject, just study the quizzes and pre-tests and you will be fine for the final PROCTORED exam. Make sure to turn in everything when it is due, she does not accept any late work. Was very nice and replied to my e-mails quickly.

Professor Harris is amazing. We were graded by 3 online tests, 50 questions each. The last one was substituted for a 2 paragraph valuation of her teaching methods and topic we enjoyed the most. At first I thoght Professor Harris would be a pain in the neck, she seems strict and harsh. But she is super funny, it's just her way (she was in military)

Professor Harris's online class is very easy and straightforward. The content in this class is very easy to understand. She provides good feedback on the essays and is very compassionate towards her students.

The class is 16 chapter quizzes, 5 module exams, and 5 essays. Cut and dry. I never spoke to the professor and she doesn't provide any video lectures, just PowerPoint presentations of main points from the chapters which I didn't find helpful. It wasn't anything special, but it was very easy! I did not have a mid-term or final exam.

Professor Harris is awesome! She provides excellent feedback, and although the class was very reading intensive, it wasn't hard at all. She shared a very inspirational story with me, and it literally changed my life and gave me a push to never give up on my goals. As long as you're not lazy, you will pass her class with flying colors.

If you missed a couple of classes back to back she will drop you from her class, she lectured & will call on you randomly to participate so you can't log on to zoom & dip. There was a short essay in the beginning of the semester,3 test, final essay of 300 words; 3 questions 300 words each. Pretty straight forward & simple. She is an easy grader.

Theres a lot of quizzes that pretty much determine your whole grade, the final proctored exam only covers the last 2 chapters of the last module and counts as much as a regular module test would. As long as you pass all your module exams, you shouldn't worry about the proctored exam. Also no written assignments! Took this class for a 6 week term.

Easy easy class

I would totally take Professor Harris's class again! The first day I had her, she seemed mean and strict but she's not like that at all. You do have to stay on top of your work especially for homework and quizzes and she does call on people to make sure that they were paying attention to the lesson. The only thing is she is strict with attendance.
