Patty is an amazing teacher, who does a great job of making the class fun and intresting. It is not that hard of a class, which helps also, but it the information is also quite intresting. Tests are not to hard, just long.

The class is quite demanding and requires serious dedication, but what you learn is so exciting and rewarding. I got an A and so can you if you go to every class, do the HW, study for quizzes and put enough effort into the review q's.

Patty was an excellent teacher. Always was ready to spend the time to make sure you understood the material. If you had trouble in a lab you could always come to another session. "Met" the cadavers on the first day of lab, not as scary as I thought. She made a really tough class fun. I highly recommend her!

I took her human anatomy class online and would highly recommend it. As long as you keep up with material, it isn't too hard. Her exam study guides are really helpful. Make sure to attend exam review sessions and read the question answer section on the website because she gives you a lot of clues about the exam.

Patty is a very nice and helpful professor! I took her BMS 107 course this summer. It was the toughest class I've ever taken at SBCC. She provides study guides, but they don't prepare you for the entire exam. Lab and lecture exams are tough.

She is the best teacher to take at city college. This class was not easy at all, but you have to work really hard. The content was really interesting, but your grade will not come easy. Go to all online office hours cause she answers a lot of questions. Studied over 50 hours for my final, and got an A. Study, Study, Study, Study! She is very sweet!

I loved her class. the material is only hard when you don't read. other wise she was very helpful especially when it came to having an exam. As long as you attended her lecture online before the exam or the study session you were definitely getting a good grade. he lab quizzes aren't hard at all just study for them.

This class was awesome! I took it with Patty over the summer so it was lots of work, but necessary for a good grade. Always keep up with the material, attend her online office hours (or atleast watch the archives) and focus on the study guide! EVERYTHING on the exams is on them. Patty is so sweet and helpful. patys an amazing instructor. took her for 6week summer class. she helpful, on hands in class. also allows email for questions relating to topic. ex credit is given but do the work. the class was 6 weeks, she didn't cut any material out of her 16 week course. if i can pass with an A anyone can.

Patty is fantastic! Clear, straight forward, gives a solid study guide, if you follow the study guides and lab quizzes you will do well. It is A LOT of material but Patty makes it fun and understandable. She gives a lot of tools for memorization, weekly online forums and relates subject to real life. She is a wonderful teacher!

I had Patty for BMS100 which is the Human Body class. She is an absolutely amazing professor. She gives out study guides for every test that covers all the material that will be on the exam. She is so good at explaining things if you're confused. Overall, she knows what she's doing and is one of the best teachers I've ever had!! Take her!!

Weekly quizzes but she reuses questions from quizzes on the exams. Show up to every class and take good notes. DONT BUY THE BOOK. You wont use it. waste of money. The class was really interesting and Patty made it really hands on for us to understand the concepts. During the middle of the week, she would assign lecture quizzes to make sure we understood what we were learning. If we ever had difficulty, she encouraged us to come to her office hours. There are also plenty of extra credit opportunities :)

Patty is INCREDIBLE!! Her style of teaching really allows you to learn and actually retain the information. The online office hours 100% prepare you, and she pretty much tells you EXACTLY what's on the quiz/exam. Lots of handouts and extra credit. She does not try to trick you whatsoever, know what she says to know and be very present in class :)

She a makes class interesting and has countless opportunities for extra credit as well as very helpful study guides.

I took anatomy in the summer and it was SO much information to learn in 6 weeks but Patty made it so worth it! Prepare to do tons of studying outside of lab but all her tests and quizzes are very reasonable (and all basically from the study guide). Best teacher I've had by far, would definitely take her again! Bummed this class ended.

Anatomy is a VERY challenging course, but Patty is the type of professor that actually wants you to succeed. Her study guides are exactly what's on the tests. You have to study a lot if you want a good grade, but she has many extra credit opportunities. I would recommended doing the BRAIN tutoring sessions for anatomy & phys students - helps a lot!

Patty is a wonderful teacher. There is barely any homework, however you do have to study for a lab quiz every week (they're not hard if you study). She is GREAT at explaining content. It is easy to understand the concept that we are learning. Her tests are straightfoward and are pretty easy, you just have to study. Overall she is a great teacher

If I had one word to describe would be an AMAZING professor. I highly recommend taking her. Her lecture notes are very clear, slides, video labs and lectures are very helpful. Exactly what she talks about would be on the text, there will not be any surprises on test. This class is very time consuming so you do need to do your part and study/focus.

Patty is very structured and organized. There are 4 exams, and study guides for each. The 1st and 3rd exams you can use your study guide. Highly recommend this class, especially if you are taking 107 next. This class is not hard, but depending on your background it could be. I read the book, Id recommend it if you want an A.

She covers everything on the final/midterm in lecture, and didn't assign reading because she does her job and actually teaches what she wants us to learn. She's very detailed and is an absolute gem of a teacher and if we had more teachers like her we'd have placed higher than 28th in education in the world.

Patty is AWESOME. I just had her for a hybrid class (lecture online and meet in class for labs)and all of her online lectures are very clear and extremely helpful. She doesn't through any curveballs for tests and she will let you know exactly what to expect.

Patty is VERY clear with what she is looking for on tests. She gives everyone a study guide that is very much doable and memorizable. Test questions will only come from the study guide. SO HELPFUL. She really cares about students and wants them to succeed. Take her over the other professors, it will be SO worth it.

Patty is my favorite! Due to COVID, we had to do online classes and her lectures fit into her quizzes, exams, labs, but of course you have to put effort into it. I work almost full time and she has been so helpful to give reminders that an exam or quiz is due that day! 10/10 would recommend others to choose her! She's caring and funny!

She is a great professor and super interested in her subject. She cares about how her students feel. However, this class BMS100 in my opinion had way too much info for an online class. Weekly a lecture and lab quiz, lab report every week but then for the lab there are videos, total weekly work is about 4-8 hours of work, tiring during covid.

This class was such an amazing class. By far Patty is one of the best teachers on campus. She actually wants you to pass, she prepares you so well for the tests and exams. She is clear on what will be on the exams. And she's the most sweetest person ever. Take her class, I recommend her 100%, you won't fail if you take the practice exams! TRUST!

Saito is a solid choice, her class was very structured in that every Sunday a lecture and lab quiz were due. Pretty quick to answer questions and all the material on quizzes were in the lectures and/or lab videos. Probably spent 3-4 hours a week studying and working for the class.

She is very passionate about what she teaches. Very detailed in her lectures and likes to draw diagrams and label. SPELLING MATTERS in every quiz and exam. If you misspell a word by a letter 0.5 point is taken off. Overall she is a great professor.

I love Prof. Saito. The study guide is a GEM. Focus on lab every week and you will get a high score, and study for the big exam when it's close to the date- it worked for me. Lecture quizzes every week, embedded Q's and easy to get a perfect score.

If you want an easy A in anatomy at SBCC then Peter Aguilar is your guy, but if you want a challenging but fantastic anatomy class where you will be held to way higher standards, but remember everything then Patty is your gal!! Such an incredible professor, you will learn so much but just be prepared to work very hard.

I was originally worried this class was going to be difficult because I have never been good at science, but Patty teaches the material so well that not only do you learn in her class, but she goes out of her way to make sure you do well. Professor Saito makes this class super fun! I took this class just to be prepared before entering BMS 107. I'm glad I took it! She is very caring, super chill and understanding. The lectures are long and you have a quiz every week. 4 (Exams). As long as you put the effort in and take advantage of the tutor hours to help you out, you will do fine.

Patty is amazing&her lectures were never boring! She provides PDF notes from the textbook so u don't have to buy it. DO THE STUDY GUIDES & I can't stress this enough: VISIT THE TUTORS! There are 4 exams&weekly lab quizzes. SPELLING IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT IN THIS CLASS. As long as u put in the effort & TIME u can get an A. I wish she taught BMS 108

I feel extremely prepared going into anatomy and felt on top of the work the whole time. Take advantage of the extra credit and study for lab and chapter quizzes and you'll get an A!! :)

Patty is extremely thorough. There will not be a stone, or in this case bone/muscle left unturned. Her class is a lot of work, but if you put in the time and dedication you can pass. She is not tricky which I appreciate in science courses. Her study guides are long, but if you master them you will pass her tests.

I didn't do well in this class. That being said, all of it was entirely my fault and none on Patty. She is easily the best professor I've ever had by far. When I asked questions after class she gave her full attention. Lecture and tests EXTREMELY heavy but worth it. Study for everything a week ahead. Take her over anyone else. Little extra credit.

I took Patty for BMS 100, and the lectures were a lot to memorize but she takes notes for you during the lectures! She's super caring and understanding about your success in her class. Patty is truly a prodigy in her field of teaching. She is extremely welcoming, transparent, but most importantly, she teaches very well. You can expect to work many hours outside of class studying, but homework is practically non-existent, this class rides on you taking good notes, and studying well for the weekly lab and/or lecture quiz.

Anatomy is definitely one of the hardest classes you'll have to take, be prepared for A LOT of information. Don't get behind on studying bc exams will sneak up on you, ALWAYS take her practice tests (learn drawings), do the extra credit!

Patty is a caring professor than genuinely wants her students to do well. However, YOU have to do your part. Get ready to study many hours outside of class. If you do the test study guides, study for lab & take the practice quizzes, and do the (few) extra credit assignments you will do well in the class. If you don't, you will not do well.

prof. saito is awesome! class is well organized and structured, lots of work but not super difficult! she posts lectures that can replace reading the textbook, quizzes every week that are mostly memorization, and exams are long + proctored but build off of the weekly quizzes. she offers a lot of good resources and practice work if you need help!

I took the 6 week summer anatomy class. Very hard and fast paced but she gave you everything you needed for the exams word for word. Studied only the study guides and got close to 100% on everything! Good amount of extra credit. Labs were hard but she had practice quizzes you could do as many times as you wanted. Patty is great!

As a returning student after a 20-year gap, I found this professor to be amazing! Patty is personable and teaches you to understand, not memorize. She teaches in a way that makes lecture and lab not only understandable, but fun. I appreciated the ability to take practice quizzes, the tutor's helpfulness, and the extra credit.

A really fun and engaging professor. She cares very deeply about the success of her students and offers good resources for studying. This course is VERY lecture heavy, even though she records her lectures it's definitely not a good idea to skip the in person lecture since she might give out a lecture quiz which can not be made up.
